Sam looks at Solari and Sarah, mentally asking if this is their sign to rush in. Weapons drawn they rush the large tent, engaging at least eight armed soldiers. Solari yelled out, "I will take the extra two, you get to the Queen as soon as possible."
Meanwhile Ephiny, an angry and injured Warrior Princess, and a group of approximately 25 Amazons pick up their pace, hearing the sounds of a battle over the next hill.
Gabrielle dives between His legs, flares out both her feet, tripping Him. By the time Gabrialle gets to her feet and orients herself, He has already regained his footing and is charging again. Despite the tent being larger than a soldier's tent, there is not much room to maneuver. Gabrielle scans the tent for something to put more room between them both.
"You know, this might be a little more fun outside and with some friends," Gabrielle quips, dodging a sword swipe.
"I'd love to have this witnessed by the masses; however, I quite remember your ability to talk your way out of situations. And I just really want my revenge!" He blocks a strike from Gabrielle's Sai. As the two of them continue to exchange strikes, landing minor nicks and scrapes, He realizes the Queen has manured him into the far right corner of the tent, leaving him little options left in this fight, surrender and maybe live or die and hopefully do enough damage to the Amazon Queen that it won't be easy to forget he existed. Choosing the latter, He doesn't block the Queen's next strike, but instead allows the Sai to become lodged into his abdomen, bringing Gabrielle closer into his guard. Gabrielle immediately lets go of her Sai, but not before he uses the pummel of his sword and rams it into the side of Gabrielle's head, causing blood to explode from her nose and lip and throwing her into the side of the tent.
Ephiny, Xena, and the remainder of the Amazons crest the hill, a moderate sized campsite laid out before them and all the fighting focused around the largest tent in the encampment. Sam, Sarah, and Solari are fighting their way to the tents entrance, for every soldier they defeat, another steps up to take its place.
"Archers, spread out and see if you can clear down that line of soldiers. Xena and I will come up behind the tent and make our own entrance. Then I want the rest of you to back up Sam, Sarah, and Solari. Mariska be on standby." Everyone nods their heads and begins their orders
Gabrielle works to untangle herself from the edge of the tent into a defensive position, but is met with Him grabbing her injured arm. Taking it into both his hands, he lifts her up by it and swings her into the tent pole, connecting the pole and her shoulder/armpit area, both landing on the tent floor. Gabrielle tries to get up, but can't. She works hard to not pass out, willing herself to remain awake.
