"Ugh. I hate living in this freezer box of a house. It's so cold. Oh well. At least some hot chocolate will warm me up." Alexis says as she is downstairs at night making some hot chocolate before hearing voices outside and shifts to wolf form before sneaking outside and seeing Gru talking to Poppy while staying hidden by some bushes.
"That's not nice. Ever hear of respecting your elders?" Gru asks annoyedly.
"I don't respect boomers. I just mock them." Poppy says as she smiles and looks at her phone as Gru laughs slightly.
"Is that like a joke you heard on the web?" Gru asks.
"Wow. The web? How old are you?" Poppy asks.
"Well old enough to know that you are a rotten little-" Gru then gets cut off by Poppy walking around him and showing him her phone.
"You better watch yourself. You used to be a master villain." Poppy says.
"Pfft. That's not me. I don't even see a resemblance. Clearly you have the wrong guy as I sell... Solar panels." Gru says as he nods.
"Oh don't worry I'm not gonna expose you because you're gonna help me pull a heist. We start planning tomorrow." Poppy says as she smiles as Gru laughs.
"You want to pull a heist? Listen kid I'm not going-" Gru then gets cut off by Poppy.
"No you listen old man! I promise you do not want to cross me." Poppy says as she glares at Gru before going over and sitting on some swings.
"Huh. I kinda like this side of this girl. Girl knows what she wants." Alexis says quietly as she smiles watching Poppy.
"Alright. But tomorrow is not really good timing." Gru says nervously.
"Bummer for you because this is happening. Unless you want the whole world to know exactly who you are... Gru." Poppy says as she does some acrobatics from the swing set over to the fence.
"Whoa. Girl has skills. But this isn't good. She knows about Gru..." Alexis says as she notices Gru coming and quickly heads back inside and up the stairs to her room.
*Timeskip*
Later as Alexis is outside she soon spots Poppy heading towards a treehouse and goes over.
"Hey Poppy." Alexis says.
"Oh um hello Rose." Poppy says as she looks at Alexis.
"Nice uh outfit." Alexis says as she looks at Poppy's pink outfit.
"It's my villainess uniform." Poppy says.
"It's cool." Alexis says.
"Thanks... What do you want?" Poppy asks curiously.
"I uh came to see if you talked to my dad or anything recently." Alexis says.
"Why?" Poppy asks.
"Because he came inside acting weird the other night." Alexis says as she shrugs.
"I'm sure he was probably talking an old friend is all." Poppy says as she looks at her phone.
"An old friend hmm?" Alexis asks curiously as she looks at Poppy.
"Yep. Why does it matter?" Poppy asks.
"Because he's my dad?" Alexis asks as Poppy looks at her curiously.
"Oh. Right. Well I got business to attend to. So I'll see you later." Poppy says.
"But wait. I-" Alexis then gets cut off by Gru coming over with the baby.
"Alexis what are you doing outside? I thought you were making lunch for Junior here?" Gru asks as he gestures to Gru Jr.
"I am. Just checking in on something." Alexis says as she looks and sees Poppy is gone.
"Well head back inside please. Go, go, go." Gru says as Alexis reluctantly heads back towards the house.

As Gru is coming out of a treehouse with the baby in hand Alexis walks over to him
"So I guess I should start by saying I know what you're up to dad." Alexis says.
"What? What am I up to?" Gru asks.
"You're planning to go on a heist with our neighbor Poppy." Alexis says.
"What? No I'm not. That's crazy." Gru says as he gives a nervous look.
"No it's not because I overheard you last night. And besides you're an ex villain so it's not that far fetched." Alexis says.
"Okay fine I am but do not tell your mother. It's not like I wanted to do it." Gru says annoyedly.
"I won't. On the condition you take me with you." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Oh no, no, no. No way." Gru says.
"Oh yes, yes, yes. Unless you want mom to know." Alexis says as Gru groans frustratedly.
"Fine. Why do you young teenagers always have to be so conniving?" Gru says angrily.
"Just what we're good at." Alexis says as she smiles.
