The head of states debate on the response to the threat that has been presented to them.
It has been 4 months since the first invading forces came running from the portals that opened on Earth.
A total of 4 have been opened 1 was destroyed 1 still open and the other 2 quarantined for usage and research.
First one opened in the African steppe near the South African border with Zimbabwe the monsters terrorized the local population defeated the local Zimbabwe garrison and pushed the South African National Defence Force(SANDF) to the Nzhele Nature Reserve where the forces of Darkness so called by the local populus were defeated by the SANDF with the help of the Royal Navy of United Kingdom.
Second one appeared on the frontlines of the raging civil war in Ukraine, most of the monsters were apostles sent by Griffith with overwhelming power.
The forces of Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic and Ukraine Armed forces were losing battle after battle, though ranged combat seemed to be more favorable for the human defenders the forces of the dark would quickly close the gaps.
Due to the fear of the invasion forces spreading over to both Europe and the European parts of Russia, Europe's prominent countries and diplomats pushed for ceasefire negotiations and a partial alliance between Russia and Ukraine to eradicate the threat.
With it's overwhelming number of armor and artillery the Russians employed a sort of no nonsense policy whilst fighting the invaders, before every concentrated push there would not be a rock standing on the field that was not flipped by either a missile bomb or an artillery shell, in one push from both the west and eas the forces of Ukraine and Russia pushed the invading forces from Midland to the portal.
Continuing its no nonsense policy the Russians launched a Kinzhal hypersonic missile from a MiG 31 directly at the portal thus destroying it completely.
The ceasefire is still in effect, but the human toll has been great for everyone involved, and it will come some time before the eastern part of Ukraine sees any kind of normal life.
Third portal opened in the Pacific Ocean and has been the only one without any activity, it is constantly patrolled by Navies of the United States, China and Japan,
The final one opened in the mountains in the Balkans, near the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina most of the villages and the towns are now left deserted, it's residents either took up what arms and equipment they had from the previous war and headed for the mountains or were dead, but in the spirit of the partisans from WW2 there are talks of rag tag resistance groups in the mountains and forests of Bosnia mounting a guerrilla campaign, but no official contact with said forces has been made the whole region fell into a blackout with no communication whatsoever.
CIA and FSB sent their operatives to try and establish some sort of communication but to no avail. The battle in the region still rages on.
