"Poker by Candle Light "

Jade and Tori are at Tori's house when the power goes out. With nothing else to do, they light a few candles, and decide to play poker, but have made things interesting this time.

AN: Hey, guess what, guess what, guess what? I decided to stop being lazy, and post another chapter for this story...lol. Anyway I hope all of you are enjoying your summer so far. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about poker, but I did my best, and I hope you enjoy it.

In the midst of a thunderstorm, Tori and Jade rush inside Tori's front door to get out of the rain. They shut the door behind them, hanging up their wet jackets and straightening out their hair. David is at work, while Holly and Trina are out for the evening, leaving Tori and Jade with the house to themselves. Tori leans in close to her girlfriend, brushing a few errand hairs out of her face before pressing a kiss to her lips. Jade wraps her arms tight around Tori's waist while they continue kissing in the doorway. Both girls decide to take this upstairs as they head up to Tori's room. Something about a thunderstorm seemed intimate, as it was the perfect time to get cozy with someone you love, and perhaps spend the evening making out. Tori and Jade were certainly excited for that idea, but also they had plenty of movies to catch up on. The girls cuddled up on Tori's bed while Tori brought up the first movie. However their plans were botched as soon as they saw the lights flicker, and then go out. Jade reached for her phone to turn on her flashlight, while Tori looked for a few candles.

"Oh man, I was afraid this would happen." Tori said, lighting one candle, and placing it on the nightstand.

Tori found a second candle on her dresser, lighting that one as well, and placed it on the other side of the bed. Jade gets comfortable, tucking the throw blanket from the bed around her waist. She took Tori's hand, pulling her close to kiss her cheek.

"I guess our movie marathon will have to wait."

"Yeah, I'm bummed though. I was really looking forward to it." Tori said.

"I'm not worried. We can still hang out here, and make out." Jade said, nuzzling into Tori, kissing her neck.

Tori laughs, "While I like that idea very much, I do have a better one."

"What's that?"

Tori reaches into the end table on her side of the bed, and pulls out a deck of cards.

"What do you say to a game of poker? Just us, with none of the guys showing off."

Jade sits up toward her with a smirk, and her eyebrows raised.

"Yeah, okay, but let's make it interesting."

"I'm listening."

"How 'bout we make it a game of strip poker?"

Now it was Tori's turn to sit up straighter.

"Oh, well that certainly is more interesting." Tori looks around her room giggling, and brushes her hair over her ear. "Uhm, I guess since we're alone, we could do that."

"Exactly, no one is home. It's the perfect opportunity."

Jade picks up the candle on her side, and places it on Tori's headboard to better illuminate the cards. "Better?" she asks, and Tori nods.

They begin their game of five card stud as Tori deals out the cards, and she draws out the first one. Jade explains that the one who loses the hand has to take something off, Tori nods, and they are ready to begin. Things started off quiet while they made their bets, and collected cards for their hand. Tori drew another spade card, and was feeling good about being on her way to a straight flush. Although Jade was always better at bluffing, Tori was sure she had the best hand this time. Finally they were ready to call, and Jade put her hand down first.

"Full House."

With a giddy smile, Tori put her hand down, calling out, "Straight Flush!"

"Alrighty then." Jade said.

She reaches behind her neck to pull back her hair, unhooks her necklace, and places it in the bed in front of her. Tori shakes her head, having none of it.

"Oh, come on now, that's cheating."

"The rule is to take something off. There's no rule as to what that something has to be."

"That's not fair." Tori pouted.

"I'm kidding, here." Jade laughs, as she lifts her shirt over her head, and sets it down next to her.

Even though the room is only lit with two candles, Tori can see Jade's cleavage peeking up over her navy blue, satin bra, and it made her heart race. The way jade swirled her finger over her cards, and looked at her with a coy smile was enough for Tori to almost lose her concentration. This was almost better than bluffing, and Jade felt good about her chances even if she had lost the first hand.

The game continued with Tori doing very well. Jade is soon only left with her bra and underwear, but Tori wasn't far behind. She lost this hand to Jade who had the best three of a kind in her Full House, and Tori began to unbutton her pants. Jade was enjoying this just as much as Tori, watching her girl's hips shimmy out of her jeans before they hit the floor. She let out a flustered sigh, looking up to see Tori waiting on her.

"Your turn."

"Mine? Uh, yeah, okay." Jade said, drawing another card.

The next hand lost Jade her bra, but then she came back beating Tori's four of a kind, and it was her bra to go next. Tori reached under the pink spaghetti strap, slowly sliding it off her tan shoulder, then slid off the other strap, not ready to let it go just yet. Jade was thoroughly enjoying the teasing Tori was doing as Tori's hands came to unhook the front of her bra, revealing her nude body, and placed it in front of her.

"Still hate bras that hook in the front?" Tori asked.

"Uhm, uh…" Jade swallowed. "No worries, it's gone now."

Tori laughed, redealing their cards as she held her hand close to her chest.

"Last hand for the underwear. Are you ready?"

"I am." Jade confirmed.

They played through, and Jade was getting more excited, but made sure as always not to let Tori know it. Both of them were quiet, and able to still hear the storm going on outside, when they each had their final hand. Jade waited with anticipation as Tori placed her hand down first.

"I call, three Queens."

Jade glanced down at Tori's hand, and then back up to meet her eyes.

"Hey babe, you wanna know my favorite Christmas song?"

"Okay, what?" Tori asked.

"We Three Kings." Jade responded confidently, placing her three kings on the bed, and winning the hand.

"Well, you win, I guess." Tori said.

Tori propped up on her knees, slipping her thumbs in the hem of her underwear. She slid them down slightly before scooting closer to Jade on the other side.

"Would you like to do the honors?"

"More than anything." Jade said, with a grin.

Jade kissed her hip as she slid the underwear down past Tori's knees, and off her feet, tossing them to the other side of the room. Then she blew the candle out on the headboard, before laying on top of Tori with their nude bodies flush together. Jade pressed a deep kiss into Tori's neck as Tori slipped her fingers beneath the hem of Jade's underwear, drawing circles on her hip. Jade came back up to kiss Tori's lips, and then stared into her eyes.

"This was a good idea for tonight." Tori whispered.

"I thought so." Jade replied, kissing her once more.

"And a very clever way to get sex, I might add."

"Definitely, good thing you suck at this game." Jade jokes.

Tori scoffs, reaching down to pull off the rest of Jade's underwear, throwing them to the floor.

"Well, the way I look at it, I think we both win." Tori says, kissing Jade's lips.

"I think you're right." Jade answered.

With that Jade pulls the sheets around them, blows out the other candle, swallowing them in darkness as she leans down for a slow, deep kiss. The two of them have been together for a year and a half now, and so far the sex has been pretty good, but tonight has been more intimate and more fun for the two of them. There couldn't be a better way either of them could think of to wait out the storm.
