Sorry guys, but no review answering section this time.
Jaune and the girls made their way above the Styx towards Dis, where Lucifer, the next girl to add to the harem, resided. The blonde knight could barely believe he had been here nearly a week. However, he was confident that Beelzebub had it all covered back home, covering for him while he was down here and building the house to place the girls in whilst they stayed in the human realm.
Which brought Jaune to think about how exactly he was going to move in with them. He cannot just randomly tell his parents he decided to move out with a bunch of girls they barely know. He knows for a fact his sisters and mother would freak out if that was the case. But he supposed he can let Beel or someone else think of a way to pull that off.
The girls were flying around him, with Azazel carrying him by holding onto his midsection. Despite her looking like she struggled. Guess angels don't get super strength.
Eventually, the group reached the outer reaches of Dis, landing down.
"So, this is the capital of Hell?" Jaune asked.
"Indeed. Dis City serves as both Hell's capital, the only real residential sector of Hell, and as the 6th Circle of Heresy." Pandemonica replied, then the group turned towards the gates of the city, where Jaune noticed something a bit alarming. There, sitting at the door, were multiple demonic beings, but with jet-black wings, similar to Azazel's, minus the color difference.
"Who are they?" Jaune asked.
"The First Generation." Modeus replied. "They are the oldest demonic beings in Hell, the very angels that followed Lucifer in her rebellion against God and were cast down as a result. This is the bad crop, the weakest of them all, who were not awarded with places in the Ars Goetia order by Lucifer."
"Oh, if they are the weakest, then-"
"Don't rush it." Malina said, warning him. "Despite being the weakest of their Generation, they can still whoop our asses."
"I'll shut my trap."
Suddenly, one of the fallen turned their head towards their direction, and shrieked aloud, getting the attention of his comrades.
"Halt there, ye who are alive!" The fallen quickly rushed to them, Jaune taking a step back as the girls blocked their way, Azazel by his side. "Pandemonica, and the former High Prosecutor, what is this? This is treason! You dare bring a living human down here?!"
"This is no treason in any shape or form." Justice said, but then one of them noticed Azazel.
"If this is no treason, then what of the fledgling angel?!"
Azazel flinched away from hearing the fallen. Only in stories had she heard of such beings, born of angels fallen to sin.
"Oh, just try touching her." Justice challenged. "We both know whose wrath that calls forth."
The fallen angels growled at the remark, backing down ever so slightly.
"The Furies and Medusa won't let him pass so easily … " One of them warned.
"We'll deal with them." Justice said, and then, the fallen angels scattered, returning to their posts. "Well, the easy part is done, at least."
"Easy part?" Jaune echoed. "You mean those guys were the easy part?"
"Didn't you hear them? Those guys guard the gates, but the actual guardians of this circle are way worst." Zdrada added, then the sound of wings flapping and a set of three feminine shrieks was heard above them. "And here they are."
"The Furies." Pandemonica said, eyeing them as Jaune and Azazel saw the three women approach. But then the sound of a slithering mass and hiss was also heard.
"Get down!" Pandemonica rushed to Jaune, forcing him to face down. "Do not raise your gaze under any circumstance!"
"A human!" One of the furies shouted, pointing at Jaune.
"This is unacceptable!" Another shouted.
"Let Medusa deal with him, sisters!" The final Fury said, and true enough, from among the rocks and gate of the city, Medusa crawled out. She entered in head-first, as her head, cut as it has, was not attached to her body. Yet, her petrifying gaze remained a constant danger to all mortals.
"You lot! How dare you bring a human this far into Hell, where the demons reside!" Medusa yelled.
"Stand down, Medusa, everything is alright! It is not against the law of Hell to bring a human this far, just like I told Plutus not that long ago!" Justice stepped forward.
"You also bring an angel! How is this not betrayal, Justice?!" Medusa pointed at Azazel, and on this, Justice seemed a bit worried. "I guard this circle, and so, it falls on me to decide who ultimately enters and who remains outside. All of you who try to enter have been assigned OUTSIDE of the walls of Dis, and here you are, abandoning your posts."
"Treat it as our vacation days." Zdrada added. "Now, can we move onward? Or do we need to throw that head of yours into the Styx first?"
"Just try, Zdrada." Medusa challenged.
"There is no need to get violent." Pandemonica said, trying to negotiate. "We just require passage, nothing more."
"Then consider this your passage denied-" Suddenly, Medusa's attention was diverted elsewhere, facing toward the city. The girls noticed this, of course, and felt uneasy about it. But then, the guardian turned to them again, a scowl on her face. "You may enter, human and angel included."
"Lucifer's order … " Pandemonica said, knowing full well what made her change her mind. "She just gave you an order."
"One I loathe, but follow nonetheless. Now go, I cannot stand to see you before my eyes a minute longer!"
True to her desire, the group entered Dis.
Jaune was finally able to lift his gaze. "That was scary."
"Medusa can turn any mortal to stone with one gaze." Pandemonica stated, making Jaune gulp. "Had you laid even one eye on her head, you'd be a statue now."
"I see … Thanks for the save."
"Don't mention it." Pandemonica replied. "Now, however, we need to reach Lucifer's palace, meaning we need to traverse this circle a bit. Luckily, it is just a ten-minute walk through the fiery tombs."
"Fiery tombs?" Jaune asked, and then they continued onward as Pandemonica explained how the sinners are punished here. This was the sixth circle of heresy - where those who deny or severely doubt a doctrine of the old belief are sent to burn in those crowded tombs. They are only ever opened to add new souls in, too!
Then they reached a secondary gate, this one having no guardian, but rather, the gate acted as a means to separate the torturing place from the place where the demons resided. And here, Jaune found it pretty normal for a change, this residential area is very similar to the human ones. Well, except for what lay at the end of it.
Jaune marveled at the giant construct in front of him, imagining what could wait for them inside. Before them, the gate of the castle was being guarded by 2 giant, skeleton-like beings with their eye-sockets housing dim, crimson lights. The skin was pulled tight against the bones as if they had never eaten in a day of their life. For all Jaune knew the skeletons hadn't. They approached the gate, walking on the bridge towards it, and sure enough one of them stepped forwards.
"Halt! State your business here." He demanded, almost as if he rehearsed those words.
"Ayo there, man!" Justice said, stepping forward. "You see, I got this here group and we have to see Lucifer ASAP. The blondie has business with her, so can you let us pass?"
"Former High-Prosecutor Justice?" The skeleton said in mild surprise, then he stepped away. "Anything for you. You fought against Hell's mightiest, one of the best Prosecutors there ever was, and a friend to the Queen. You may pass since it is you."
"Thanks, big guy. Take care and do your job well!" Justice said, then she made a gesture for the rest to follow. The blonde of the group had to admit the skeletons scared him. They were literally giant in size, easily 2 heads taller than he was, and didn't look weak to him in the least. If anything, they might be some of the scariest things he has seen, and Justice simply talked to one of them! Just another one of Hell's quirks.
The gates then opened themselves, revealing the main hall they stepped in. Multiple demons were roaming about, going about their daily lives. The boy had to admit he was quite surprised coming inside the castle, seeing it look more like the lobby of an office building with even a desk sitting in front of two spiraling staircases that went up to the upper floors.
"You don't need to worry about being torn apart while I am here, big guy." Justice said to Jaune. "Those people know me, so I can get easy access to Lucifer. However, once we get there, it is all on you. Try not to screw up, ok?"
"I'll try," Jaune replied, then they walked forward. Justice simply waved at the desk, apparently letting them know where they were going, and began to climb up the stairs. The climb was agonizing ... With each step, the pressure increased and it never went down.
Finally, they reached the top of the climb, and before them were the gates to Lucifer. On the other side of those gates, was the Queen of Hell.
"Here goes nothing," Jaune said as he pushed the gates open and they went inside, immediately taking in the skeletons around. There were 20 in total, 10 lined up on both sides of the room. Then, at the end of the room, stood the Queen of Hell herself.
She was sitting behind a large desk on a throne made of stone with skulls to decorate the armrests. She had the traits of other girls, namely white hair and red eyes, a tail, and horns. However, her horns were white instead of black like the rest and jagged, likely to represent her age as the first actual demon, and THE devil herself. Her hair was long, the back was tied at the end, with her bangs being kept in place by a black headband that had spikes pointing up like her horns. The headband was probably a crown of sorts. She also had a mole under her left eye.
Her high status showed in her clothing. She wore a black suit with a red collared shirt underneath, complete with white gloves, a black tie, and her Sigil on her lapel. Her gaze rose to meet the blonde who just entered her hall.
"And who are you, human?" She was twirling a glass of red wine in her hand, looking at Jaune from her throne. She looked behind him, taking notice of the other girls as well, namely Justice who waved at her. "Hmm."
"My name is Jaune A-Arc, Miss Lucifer." He replied, trying to sound polite. Lucifer, for her part, looked unimpressed. "I am here to actually make a request, and-"
"Stop right there." Her voice made Jaune shut his mouth. "For starters, I must say I have to praise you for making it this far, no normal human could easily walk through Hell and survive encountering as many demons as you have. However, if you think I will so easily be swayed then you are delusional."
"What?" Jaune muttered, and the other girls were confused as well.
Justice, however, snapped her fingers. "Forgot to tell you, Jaune: Lucifer's main power is that of Omniscient. She knows everything that goes down in Hell."
At this, the Arc flinched. That had to be the craziest one thus far, and yet, explained the earlier occurrence with Medusa.
"Thank you for explaining it, Justice. But that is exactly the reason why this human's luck has run out. Although I am impressed, I am not impressed enough. Did you really think you can just come into this realm, having a contract with one of Hell's worse, whom I personally ordered to be banished, and enslave my race? How gullible are you?" Her tone of voice was mocking, to say the least. She was speaking with a sense of superiority to the boy.
Since when was Lucifer prideful?
…
Oh. Maybe Jaune should have seen this coming.
She leaned forward on her throne. "Then you stroll into here, expecting me to join your Harem? To whore myself to a human?"
"W-wait, that is not what I-"
"Oh, save it for the damned." Lucifer spoke again, shutting him up. "The only reason you are still alive, Jaune Arc, is because of Justice over there who, for reasons I cannot seem to grasp, joined you knowing she will come to face Beelzebub again. Not to mention that you also proved a good source of entertainment for me. But then there is the matter of your journey so far … You survived enough to reach me."
Jaune didn't reply, and simply gulped, nervous.
"What you had was luck. Look at you, wearing a sword on your waist, yet barely even the knowledge of the basics to wield it. You fancy yourself a knight? Here is a truth: Knights all end up in Hell." She took a sip from her wine. "Despite what Justice said, I can also read thoughts like Pandemonica, gaze into your soul, and so on. You can keep no secrets from me, boy, which is what irks me as well."
"What do you mean?"
Suddenly, Lucifer smirked, standing up from her throne and walking to Jaune. Without explanation, Jaune was then forced to kneel by a skeleton, the other girls being kept away by the brutes. Lucifer was standing in front of him, but he could only see her legs due to the skeleton keeping him down.
"You have no secrets, Jaune Arc. Your soul is nearly spotless." She stated. "But you do have other things; you loathe your father for denying you the chance to follow in your family's footsteps."
Jaune hesitated for a second, being once again reminded of his wrath. Of the fact, he's a Sullen. "I … Know- Ugh!"
"Quiet! The Queen is speaking." The skeleton brute shouted.
"At least you don't deny it, it makes this a bit easier. Then again, your father is not your only source of grief. You love your older sister, Coral, as well, but you are jealous of her. And angry that she lets your own father stop her from training you. That love you have for each member of your family, although normal, is eclipsing your true emotions; you have jealousy, hate, grief, and more hidden away in your heart."
"That is not true … " He muttered again, trying not to let Lucifer's words get to him. "That is not true! I only have wrath - I never held any jealousy for my sisters! Minos would have- unless … Hell doesn't punish jealousy specifically! No, no! She is trying to lie to me to manipulate me! To break me! But … What if she is not lying? She is the devil herself, after all, and demons are known to be manipulative using truths - wait, what am I thinking? If that was true, then I would've … I would've … I would've gone behind their back to do something on my own, just as I am doing right now."
Lucifer smirked. "I see you are finally realizing the truth, boy. Too bad it won't help you where you are going. Judgement!"
As soon as she shouted that name, a low chuckle came from behind her throne as another demon girl revealed herself.
She differed drastically compared to the other demons, lacking the typical gloves, red button-up shirt, and pants.
Rather, she had a suit jacket that was ripped to expose her stomach and a bra that didn't connect at the front. The bra covered her nipples but exposed most of her breasts, with cleavage visible from top to bottom. She wore a thick belt with a pentagram medallion on a chain attached to it. She only wore underwear rather than pants leaving her hips free to see. She had thigh-high socks covered by metal armor on her calves and belts around her thighs and heels. Her skin was not pale, but gray and her eyes were orbs shined white.
Her hair was still white like the rest of the demons, being tied at the base, allowing for a dense ponytail. She had two strands of hair being let loose that went down the sides of her face. Her horns were black, large, and jagged, with each having two small spikes coming from them. Her arms were armored and her gauntlets were equipped with metallic batons, suggesting she got into a lot of fights.
"FINALLY, I GET TO SHOW THIS MORTAL HIS PLACE!" She shouted, holding her fist up and clenching it, the loud clang of the metal echoing throughout the room. She walked to Jaune and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, going to the window and holding him over the edge.
The other girls all shouted from behind, but the brutes kept them at bay.
Lucifer stood behind Judgement, looking somewhat puzzled. "Not going to use the Sin Machine, Judgement?"
The High Prosecutor turned to her. "Not for him. He doesn't deserve it. I will send him falling down straight into Cocytus!"
Jaune immediately began to panic and he looked down, unable to see the bottom. The window he was being held over was large and opened towards the side of the castle, but he only now noticed that the castle in itself was the end of this particular circle of Hell. There was a steep cliff, likely ending at the bottom of Hell.
"Wait, please, don't!" He begged, but Judgement didn't heed his cries. Instead, she pulled him closer to whisper in his ear.
"I know you are not one to easily give up. You did well so far. Please don't die here, and return." She said, letting genuine kindness seep through her words before yelling and throwing Jaune out the window, the girls all shouting for him as the boy fell.
Jaune screamed out as he fell down into the abyss. The cold wind howled in his ears as he tumbled end over end, freezing his skin. He turned himself downwards to face his imminent demise. He put up his Aura, a faint glow coming from all over his body. But he doubted that it would help him. He had to think, there had to be SOMETHING he could do to survive, but … Nothing came to mind.
He was going to die. He would fall, hit the bottom of Hell itself, and perish. His soul never to see light again as he would become trapped at the bottom of the Styx. Closing his eyes, he awaited his fate, waiting for the embrace of death to take him away.
"I did hear human coffee is better than the one down here."
The glow in the center of his chest became brighter. Wasn't he forgetting something?
"How about a new pair of sunglasses for me?"
Oh. The girls! He promised them things, didn't he? How would they feel when he broke those promises? The glow spread to all of his chest.
"Well, how about I get you some books about romance once we get to the human realm?"
"Promise?"
The stronger glow spread throughout his limbs and head.
"Do you promise more head pats too?"
No! He didn't want them to be sad. His heart ached and beat faster. The glow of his whole body got even brighter at once.
"I will also like to see your gaming collection later."
No matter how small he promised them things. His fists clenched, aura wafting off them in waves. The souls he met so far told him that his house was one with many dark secrets. Would he hurt others like his family did?
"That I become Jaune's guardian angel?"
NO! He won't be like Verda or Xenter Arc. No! He will be Jaune Arc - A TRUE Arc that will uphold his family's honor, not tarnish it further! His aura light up 10 fold pushing back the darkness around him.
"Ha! Too late to regret now, blondie, you are not going to get rid of me that easily!"
OK. There were things that still needed to get worked out but was he going to not try to make things work at the first sign of trouble? Harem or not he was still in a relationship and he would do what he could to keep everyone happy.
He opened his eyes, a piercing blue light shining out.
He needed to live …
He wanted to live…
He Would LIVE!
He was still facing the bottom of Hell as he became calmer and focused, the air still rushing past him, yet he didn't care. All he cared about was surviving and returning to the girls, whatever it took!
For the first time since coming into existence, a sun came to life in Hell. Its golden glow burned so bright it reached some of the darkest places.
And for those that could see it they would have been given quite the sight.
A falling
Shooting star.
Deep in the coldest, deepest part of Hell, after a change in the Divine Order, Lucifer no longer filled the hole at the bottom, trapped in a monstrous body. Now, the center of Hell was a pool of water so cold and freezing, that for a normal mortal, death was instant. Above it, hanging crucified on upside-down crosses to the ceiling of this circle, were 2 of the greatest sinners of this circle. The last circle. Where the traitors reside.
However, the worst of sinners, who betrayed Jesus Christ, were punished at the bottom of the icy pond. There, he was crucified. When two others were dropped in, he was crushed under the crosses they were on. But something else fell into his pond now.
The golden glow fell into the river. The waters splashed all over and instantly froze in the air. His aura protected him from death by freezing, but Jaune could not remain there long. As soon as the cold feeling hit him, he swam up.
He gasped for air as he reached the top, swimming to the edge and pulling himself out of the pond, his clothing quickly freezing and sticking to his body. He shivered, his breath visible before his eyes and his vision blurry. His aura faltered against the cold of this circle, and as he looked around, he saw the desolate frozen wasteland he was in.
"This … Is the last circle?" He asked himself, slowly getting up. He knew he had to get back to the girls, but had no idea where to go from there. Without Pandemonica to guide him, he was bound to aimlessly wander about. "Wait, Beel! Surely she- Shit!"
Sure enough, the fly she gave him to communicate in case of something was no more. Just a frozen pebble, as the waters of the pond saw to its sad state.
But that was the least of his worries. His enhanced aura saved him, yes, but it was not a long-term solution. He will die here, frozen to death, unless he finds shelter from those cold winds. He looked around for any trace of shelter but sensed something else. Warmth. His skin was more sensitive to it now, thanks to the cold bath he just took, but it was without mistake warmth emanating from somewhere close by.
He began making his way towards the source of it, and eventually, found something strange near a cave. All around him, silence and cold dominated this place, yet, he could hear groans inside the cave before him. But passing would be difficult, as around the entrance, the ice melted, creating a shallow pond. Still, he advanced, despite the cold water not aiding his current situation.
But what did was the heat. Almost immediately, the chill from outside became a memory as he walked in, further and further, now only feeling the discomfort of his wet clothes.
"Just shut up, for fuck's sake!" A male voice shouted from within, and Jaune went closer, eventually reaching an open area.
"But you don't get it! I haven't touched or seen a cute goat in years! Because of whom?" Another female voice said, and Jaune immediately saw who it belonged to. Another demon girl, with white horns like Lucifer, and long, white hair with bangs covering her forehead. Her eyes were mostly closed, or so they looked, and she had curves that must have outdone even Modeus!
Her attire consisted of a pair of black pants, heels, and a red blazer shirt, like the ones the other girls were wearing, though she kept a few buttons open, exposing a fair amount of cleavage.
Good thing he had a cold shower.
As for the one she was talking to, Jaune noticed a male demon. A large one at that, easily twice his size, with short black hair, dressed in nothing but ripped pants, exposing a body covered in scars and two tattoos of snakes on his chest. His eyes were a golden hue, and as he soon noticed, he had slit pupils.
"A guest?" He said, which got the female demon to turn to him. Jaune barely had time to react as she leapt at him and knocked him down, pinning him down by the chest on the ground with one of her heels.
"Well, well, who do we have here? A well-dressed human looking for trouble?" She asked, keeping him pinned.
"Ugh." Jaune struggled, his aura flaring against her heel.
"Oh, Aura! How exotic, I haven't seen a soul like yours in years!" She said again, then she pressed down harder. "Now, how about you tell me how you ended up down here? The simple fact you are dressed in such fancy clothing already tells me something is off, not to mention you draw breath."
"My name … Is Jaune." He said slowly. "I was thrown here, by Lucifer and her High Prosecutor. I think her name was-"
"Judgement." The male said, looking at him. "You were thrown all the way from Dis to Cocytus? How did you survive?"
"Hmm. What he said. Now, speak!" She demanded, and true enough, Jaune felt compelled to answer. He hated those forced powers of confession, but alas, he couldn't fight them. He told her everything, answering all questions as he lay on the ground, unaware of what she may try.
But then, the male spoke up.
"Baphomet, let him go." The demon said, addressing the demoness.
"You can't order me around, Ignium." She replied, using the demon's name.
"I can't order you anymore." He corrected her. "But I can still cut deals. Hey, human boy, you want to make it out of here?"
"Preferably!" Jaune replied.
"Then … Let her turn you into a goat."
"What?!"
Baphomet shivered to hear the demon, looking down at Jaune with hungry eyes. "If you let me turn you, I promise to act nice. Really nice … "
"Wait, what do you mean by-"
Unfortunately, he was left unheard, and Baphomet cast her spell. Jaune blinked and suddenly he was some kind of humanoid goat man with golden fur.
"My word, he has golden fur!" Baphomet took her leg off, instead laying herself on top of him. Her tongue was hanging out, and her breathing was labored. Her bangs fell apart, revealing a pentagram on her forehead. Her eyes were also open, red like the other girls, yet there was an unholy hunger in them.
He knew his chastity was on borrowed time, but not like this! Not while he was a goat!
"Can you get off me?" Jaune asked, and true enough, she listened.
"Yes! Anything! My golden goat … I will do anything!" She replied, and Jaune had to admit, she was acting worse than Modeus.
"Anything?" Ignium mused, then the demon gestured with his neck for Jaune to come closer, which he did, Baphomet following closely behind. "Now that she's out of the way … Boy, answer me truthfully, are you mentally ill?"
Jaune looked at him strangely. "No, why do you ask?"
"Oh, I think he means your harem project." Baphomet replied. "Us demon women can be a hassle to handle during certain … times."
"From your story, you got a good amount so far. But yet, you tried getting Lucifer?" Ignium asked, to which Jaune nodded, making the demon laugh his ass off. "You, my boy, have to be either the smartest, luckiest guy alive. Or the dumbest, most unlucky, pathetic son of a bitch ever! You are precious! Too rare to die!"
"Ummm. Thanks?" Jaune replied slowly, looking at the male demon. "Can he read souls like other demons? And why's he here, chained like this, on his knees?"
"Well, currently most of my power is being drained by these chains, but since you are so close, it makes things a lot easier." Ignium replied, confirming Jaune's thoughts. "I can see what Lucifer told you back then boy. Sorry to confirm it, but she was not lying completely. Whether you realize it or not, you hate your father's guts and loathe your entire family while still loving them"
Jaune felt a guilty weight settle on his heart. He always looked up to his sister and father and respected them. His mother and other sisters too. Each of them was great in their own way, but him? He only now learned he was jealous of everything. He …
"It's true … I admit it now." Jaune muttered, but then something hit him. Ignium said 'completely', meaning Lucifer did lie about something or twisted the truth in some way. "Wait, what did Lucifer not say? What did she keep from me?"
"Easy there, boy," Ignium said. "You know demons all need something in return for this kind of stuff, right?"
"What? Come on, please don't ask for my soul!" Jaune said in a mild panic, then Ignium laughed. "You were messing with me, weren't you?"
"Of course he is!" Baphomet replied "Ignium never takes anything seriously if it doesn't concern or benefit him! I doubt he is ever truly serious, to be honest."
"Oi!" Ignium chimed. "But yeah, I was just messing with you. You see, boy, what Lucifer was hiding was the amount. You do not loathe and hate your family as much as she might have made you believe. Except for your father."
"My father?" Jaune echoed, then he thought about what that could mean, eventually realizing the truth. "My father is the one keeping me from any sort of training … He is the core reason why I am like this. But I already knew that Minos named me a Sullen!"
"Bingo! Your pappy has been keeping you away from the big, mean world, looking to keep your wings from expanding and taking flight! But you broke free of him - the moment you stepped into Hell! He cannot stop you in here, nor will he be able to undo anything once you are back!"
"B-but how?" Jaune asked, looking at the ancient demon. "To do that I first have to return home, and I have to get the girls as well!"
"You are not making it easy, are you? Oh well, I guess you are only human in the end … " Ignium blew out a breath. "Wait … Before anything else, can you turn him back, Baphomet? It is getting difficult to take him seriously."
"Do I have to?" Baphomet whined, but then Jaune turned to her, giving her a look that pretty much told her he also wanted to return to normal.
"Fine. But I hope we can do this more later." She snapped her fingers, and sure enough, Jaune was back to normal.
"Good. Now, listen here Jaune, I will give you something to help you out, and more … I will grant you my fighting skills"
"You can do that?!" Jaune said in utter shock hearing the demon, who flinched from having the boy shout so close to his ears.
"Yes, I can! But it is not as simple as you might think, or lacking pain." Suddenly, the tattoos on Ignium began to move, the snakes seemingly coming to life and traveling on his body. "This here is more than simple tattoos, boy. It is my weapon and fateful companion, who has stuck with me even in this shithole; Blood Binder."
Suddenly, the two tattoos merged into one, then detached themselves from Ignium's body, becoming a large, intimidating mix of a cobra and viper with crimson scales with a creme underbelly, its eyes fully black and hissing at him. "He will act as the conduit through which my skills will transfer into you, granting you what you need to fight back!"
"Ok … " Jaune replied, being somewhat scared of the snake before him. "What do I need to do- aaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The poor boy never got to finish his sentence as Blood Binder sunk its fangs into the base of his neck, its tail wrapping around his neck and going down Jaune's torso, turning itself back into a tattoo.
"My body feels like I am on fire!" He thought, wobbling back and hunching himself forth, feeling his aura start to strain, and more. His body hurt, agonizingly even. It felt like each muscle in him - every cell, fiber, nerve, and bone in his body was being remade right there by the demon's familiar. Mute screams left his mouth as the process went on, the flesh covered by the tattoo already emanating smoke from the pain. The burning feeling was not just in his head after all.
"Hold yourself together, kid! The worst is yet to come!" Ignium shouted, and to Jaune's misfortune, he was being serious. And to Jaune's utter horror, he had reasons to be. No sooner had Ignium said that Jaune's body literally began to smoke all over. "Shit, you need some help."
"You think?" Baphomet asked, rushing to Jaune as he fell to the ground, the boy's eyes rolling back in his head. She managed to catch him, holding him as he began to have a full-blown seizure. "This is too much for a mere mortal, Ignium!"
"Perhaps … Unless that is, the reason he's in so much pain is not due to the transfer," Ignium revealed, shocking Baphomet. He tricked Jaune?! "I needed him knocked out for something."
"Something?! What could you possibly want to do with him? No, I won't allow you, my duty remains to keep you here-"
"A third Semblance," Ignium said, cutting her off. "Looks like you saw it too."
"Of course, I noticed … He has two Semblances." Baphomet added. "They already combined into a new one. But where are you going to get a third one? I don't recall any soul willing to sacrifice theirs."
"Haha, oh, Baphomet, your knowledge is as limited as Lucifer's. True, there is no soul here willing to do this, because said soul already passed it to me." Ignium revealed, then he focused a bit, revealing a dark-crimson light shining in his chest, which slowly grew to look more golden. "Jaune will learn later, but for now, this old aura and the Semblance with it belong to him. Part of an older deal of mine, you see. But then Lucifer locked me up, screwing up that deal, but now, it seems fate holds my favor."
Following his words, the orb exited his chest, taking on a fully golden color, and flew towards Jaune. It entered his chest and caused his aura to pulse all over his body, which resulted in his seizure stopping and him simply falling unconscious.
"What did you give him?" Baphomet asked her prisoner.
"Something his ancestor gave me to hold before he went ahead and died." Ignium answered. "The Arc Family's Semblance. Not hereditary like that of the Schnee Family, but rather, something that is passed down. I don't know that much about it, I was never interested in the details, but now it is back in the hands of an Arc. I did my part of that deal, so now I can care less about it. After all … "
He grinned, noticing Blood Binder still moving slightly on Jaune's body. "I have a new deal to focus on."
"And his skills? Are they really going to improve?" Baphomet asked. "I know you made some kind of deal, but do you really think he is going to be able to fight his way back to Lucifer and maybe, most likely, have to face Judgement in a fight as well?"
Ignium scoffed. "We both know that even with my skills he has no chance against Judgement yet. No, I will tell him a powerful secret. A weakness of Lucifer which is as old as time itself. A secret that she only ever told a chosen few, those whom she trusted the most!"
"Which is?"
"Pancakes"
