The Final Battle – Part 2

Even as Scream was defeated and her human host subdued, Venom absorbed the Symbiote, adding to his own power and he let out a cruel laugh.

"Not so confident now, hmmm, little spider?" He taunted.

But Spider-Boy stood undaunted. "Try me."

Venom narrowed his eyes at the taunt. "We will make you regret your hubris."

With that he then utilized the power he had gained from Vulture as suddenly unleashing a pair of demonic wings from his back and launching himself up into the air and began flying.

"I don't think so." Spider-Boy remarked sharply.

With that he fired several web lines but Venom dodged, that was until he fired a web line with one hand, but the other shot an impact web and it connected, hitting Venom in the face. But Venom managed to get it off, just in time to be hit by Spider-Boy, sending him flying back. But he used his wings to correct himself and then showed off his power from Electro. He used this power to strike Spider-Boy, making him cry out, having been hit by a powerful dark energy blast that Venom formed into a ball between his hands before launching it as a beam towards Spider-Boy, lightning fast and managing to strike even with the warning from the Spider-Sense. Managing to land on his feet, Spider-Boy hissed in pain but quickly composed himself, he couldn't back down now, there was still too much to fight for.

Venom laughed and swooped down to attack but was cut off by several attacks being sent his way. Using the Spider-Sense he had developed he dodged but had to back off. This allowed Speed Demon, Batgirl, Blue Bullet and Wasp to regroup with Spider-Boy.

"Are you okay?" Speed Demon asked worriedly, having seen Spider-Boy get hit.

He nodded. "That was a surprise, but I'm still enough to handle this. Don't worry about me."

"But, they…" Batgirl began.

Blue Bullet grumbled. "How is he even doing this."

"He's using all the people that were infected by Symbiotes, he's gathered their powers." Spider-Boy explained.

"You mean...of course, you, Scream." Wasp realized. "Electro, Vulture, Rhino and Scorpion...that's why he stole back the Symbiote sample from Dr. Connors, he hadn't absorbed it yet."

"Well he has now. But leave this to me for now, help the others. Get Carnage dealt with, then we can all face him together." Spider-Boy explained.

"Alright." Batgirl said at last. "But be careful, do not push yourself too hard."

With that they hurried off to do so while Venom landed and laughed darkly.

"How foolish of you, Spider." He mocked. "As if even they could help you, even if they were all together."

Spider-Boy didn't respond however, he simply got himself ready to resume the fight, making Venom scoff but readied himself to do the same.

Meanwhile, Black Panther, White Tiger and the Iron twins continued to fight against Carnage, but he was proving much stronger than they thought, they had already received a few injuries, thankfully nothing serious. But then Carnage made his move and, with a short, sharp movement, he launched two of those axes from his hands and then leapt with incredible speed and just as they dodged the axes, Black Panther yelled out. The others turned and froze.

"What now?" He taunted them.

He was holding Black Panther like a shield, blocking any of them from taking advantage of their anti-Symbiote weaponry, just in case they hurt him too.

"You let him go."

Before any of them could react, Carnage shrieked in anger and shock as he was attacked from behind, enough to let go of Black Panther and force him to dodge before he could be hit by the anti-Symbiote weaponry. The one who had attacked him from behind was Wasp and she was soon joined by Batgirl, Blue Bullet and Speed Demon. Carnage snarled as he took in he sight of all but one of the Avengers standing firm against him.

"You're outnumbered, maniac." Batgirl snarled. "Last chance."

Carnage recovered from his apparent anger as he ended up breaking out, once more, into his insane laughter.

Seeing him laugh and knowing this wasn't a good sign, they all readied themselves for battle.

"You pathetic fools." He sneered. "None of you are good enough to take us down, no matter your numbers. We can easily slaughter you, enough playing around."

With that he transformed one of his arms into a much larger version of the axes he had been throwing, but this one he didn't throw. He actually began using it, clearly trying to cut them down without any hesitation, something which had them on edge as they tried to dodge the attacks.

"This is crazy, how are we supposed to-" White Tiger gasped out.

Iron-Girl grimaced. "How do we stop this, how can we stop him?"

"Maybe do what we did to Scream." Speed Demon suggested. "You guys tell them, I'll distract him."

With that she got to work, using her speed to taunt and lure Carnage as he attacked her in a fury, meanwhile the others explained how they had beaten Scream to which Iron-Man shook his head.

"That won't work, we tried that…"

"Tried that with four of you." Blue Bullet remarked. "What about eight of us?"

They gasped at that but then nodded and, with a signal to Speed Demon they put their plan into action and sure enough, Carnage began to reel as they continued to force him back, hitting him again and again, constantly knocking around until finally their plan was successful and they were able to subdue Cletus Kasady, just as they had Donna Diego.

"We did it." Speed Demon gasped in relief.

Black Panther shook his head. "Yeah, but it's not over yet, look."

They turned and saw the Carnage Symbiote being absorbed by Venom.

Venom continued to laugh, even darker than before, the other Avengers, despite their injuries and torn suits, hurried up to regroup with Spider-Boy, who also had rips to his suit and some injuries, but luckily nothing serious. But it seemed things were just getting worse as Venom also began to absorb something else, the stone behind him, the Symbiote Stone. He was gathering even more power.

"Now face our true power, face DARK GOD EMPEROR VENOM!"

They all watched in horror as he finished absorbing the power within, undoing a truly terrifying transformation before their very eyes.
