The Final Battle – Part 3
Venom changed before their very eyes, bulking up and several spikes emerged from his back and along the back of his arms, two curved horns formed out of the sides of his head and finally, with a loud roar, he stood before them, now standing taller than them, with what appeared to be scales along his body, certainly a lot tougher than before, even tougher than before his enhancement by Rhino's infection. Now they could see the true terror of Venom before them, having absorbed all the other Symbiote parts, as well as the full power from the now destroyed Symbiote Stone, draining it of power made it crumble. A large dark aura began to surrounding Venom, a terrifying aura.
"He's like a...like a Super Mind Flayer now." Spider-Boy grimaced. "Just like the Symbiote infected Upside-Down Mind Flayers that formed the domes. This is how he intends to continue his invasion with the Gate closed."
"So we just need to somehow find a way to stop him." Black Panther remarked. "Great, we're in real trouble, if we don't stop him here, take away his Symbiote, we're screwed."
It hit them then, this truly terrific power had filled Venom, pulled from the Symbiote Stone which had actually been using power from the Upside-Down and had been used to create the domes in the first place, using the infected Mind Flayers, he had gathered all their powers, which meant he was now far more powerful than ever before.
Venom chuckled darkly as he took in the intoxicating scent of their fear.
"Now you see it." He laughed. "WE ARE SUBLIME, WE ARE THE ULTIMATE FACE OF EVIL!"
With that he unleashed a pulse of his power, which nearly knocked them all off their feet.
"Yes, we are everything, everything that weakling Vecna wanted to be." Venom laughed, scoffing at their shocked reactions. "Yes, we know everything, all about your families and their pasts, that fool Vecna thought he had it all, when he was simply killing everyone else while simply searching for the power one person had...your father."
He pointed at Spider-Boy, who flinched as he knew what Venom meant, Vecna's hunt for his dad, Will.
"But that foolish weakling, he never saw the true power that we did." Venom snarled, sounding disgusted. "The answer was in obtaining limitless power through others and unleash an army perfectly united for only one reason. The answer was so simple, yet he became so consumed by hatred for the humanity, that he did not think of this solution, of this strategy. A strategy we picked up, learned, from all of you...yes, you all showed us how to do it."
They all froze in shock at that.
Venom continued with a dark chuckle. "Yes, combined strength, always useful, once one takes it all into themselves, such as how you fight together with your teamwork, able to unleash enough power to defeat any enemy, like how your families defeated the fool Vecna. Now we stand with the power equal to a god and with this power, a power Vecna would never have dreamed of, we shall defeat you, conquer the Earth and from there, the entire universe!"
With that he unleashed his power and launched himself towards them.
The others flinched in terror, all this tremendous power horrifying them, but Spider-Boy stood firm and urged the others to do the same.
"Don't let his words fool you, he's not invincible."
But even as he said this, Venom began his rampage, they all tried desperately to fight back, but three times they were knocked back, each time beaten up and in pain. But they fought on, especially as they knew that if they faltered, he'd escape this area and start to conquer the city again.
"It ends here." Spider-Boy said firmly.
The others were shocked by this, at least until they were badly beaten again before Spider-Boy used his own new powers to push Venom back and try to hold him down.
"We can't...he's too strong." White Tiger protested. "We need to do something else, something new."
Spider-Boy shook his head. "We need to weather this storm, just one more push and then we can put an end to this...He's made some serious mistakes."
"What are you talking about, fool, we made no mistakes!" Venom roared in anger. "We are all powerful, how can you all still be resisting!"
For it was true, the Avengers themselves realised it, they were still standing and still fighting, despite their pain. But even so, with all Venoms power, they didn't understand how that was possible, all except for Spider-Boy. At his insistence they tried again and fought Venom to a standstill, despite being harmed by it, but they stood strong and Venom roared in anger.
"What are we trying to accomplish here!?" Wasp demanded.
Spider-Boy smirked. "He was so preoccupied with obtaining power and soldiers, that he did not think of finding a way to remove the weaknesses of the Symbiote. Not only that, but also Venom has not grown used to this power, because he got it too fast, he did not find time to let his body get used to this power,"
Now it made sense, Venom did not have control over himself, that was why they were still standing, Venom had all this power, but could not use it all.
Now it was time for Venom's body to pay the price and when Venom tried to attack again, they countered, just as Spider-Boy said.
"It ends now, Venom." He said as they attacked with their anti-Symbiote weapons.
Venom roared with pain and rage, attempting to use his power again and again, but each time he tried, he was sent reeling, the sonic blasts being used at full power, while mixing it with full powered flame attacks. All that hit him hard and he was unable to use his power, due to being unable to concentrate. He screamed and finally began to look scared.
"No, this cannot be!"
Those were his last words before he melted off of Harry Osborn's body and was finally destroyed while they quickly got Harry secured safely and quickly sent word to the police to retrieve Cletus and Donna, while also making sure Norman Osborn got word on Harry so he could claim his son and get to work finding the cure, preferably one without such a dangerous side effect. They all could finally relax, the battle was over.
