As soon as GV opened the door, Atari ran to Moniqa and hugged her like Moniqa was the only person keeping her alive. Which at that exact moment was how Atari felt. Moniqa was slightly taken aback but then placed her left hand on Atari's head before giving Gunvolt a very confused look.
"What happened back there?" Moniqa asked before looking down at Atari, who's entire body started shaking.
"Gibril was there." Gunvolt answered.
Zeno just exited the break room and spat out all of the coffee in his mouth. Asimov raised his right eyebrow in confusion before speaking.
"Are you sure about this GV?" Asimov questioned.
Gunvolt then looked at Asimov before nodding.
"Could I clock out early? I need to restock on a few things for my apartment." Gunvolt spoke.
"Just make sure you take Lily with you. She seems a bit shaken." Asimov responded before looking at Atari who was still clinging to Moniqa and quivering.
Atari then slowly walked against the wall to the elevator before entering it alongside Gunvolt. When they got out, Atari was listening to Gunvolt talk about one of the missions he took when he tried to defeat Jota.
However, he was on the right of the alley with his eyes and he didn't notice someone drag Atari into the alley with one arm covering her mouth while the stranger had their other arm around Atari's neck. When Atari turned around, she was greeted by the sight of Stratos in his Grimoired form and evilly smiling.
Atari screamed before biting the hand Stratos had over her mouth and kicking his knees. Atari then ran behind Gunvolt before putting her hands on his shoulders and hiding behind him, hoping GV wasn't an illusion.
Stratos then emerged from the alley way. Still smiling that sinister smile. So, Gunvolt used his right hand to impulsively grab Atari's left hand while using his left hand to shoot at Stratos over his other shoulder to try and slow Stratos down.
However, it was a useless tactic. So, GV and Atari just kept running until they reached Gunvolt's apartment complex.
