When they got there, Gunvolt opened the door before Atari passed out from exhaustion and fell on the floor with a 'thud'.
Which then alerted Joule who jumped instinctively from the couch in the living room to the entrance door. When Joule looked down, she got instantly worried before Lumen appeared.
"GV, what happened to you two!?" Lumen panicked.
Gunvolt was covered in scratches on his face, the most worrying one however was a 4-inch cut going diagonally from his right ear to his lips. Gunvolt curiously raised his right eyebrow while looking at Lumen before shaking his head.
"I just think Lily's had a rough day." Gunvolt explained.
GV then gently lifted Atari from the floor onto a couch 8 inches to the left from the entrance door. Everyone then fell asleep for the night. However, a sudden 'crash' immediately woke Gunvolt who jolted awake.
GV then walked into the hall on his tiptoes to not wake Joule who was sleeping in the next room over before peeking a view to the right of the entrance room. Gunvolt then noticed Atari was no longer on the couch.
"Okay, let's try this again." A male voice spoke.
Gunvolt's eyes widened in surprise.
'That's Copen!' Gunvolt noticed.
Suddenly, Copen jumped out of the 5-story kitchen window.
"GV, what's going on?" Joule asked.
Gunvolt hurriedly turned around to see Joule holding the arm of the plushie Zeno got her with her left hand while rubbing her right eye with her right hand.
"It's nothing, let's just go back to bed." Gunvolt responded.
Joule then looked at the couch.
"Wasn't Atari sleeping right there?" Joule remarked sleepily.
"Your just probably hallucinating that she isn't there. I'm looking at her right now." Gunvolt lied after turning his attention to the couch.
So, him and Joule went back to bed. Meanwhile, Copen had Nori place Atari in a empty room at the sanatorium before he went to his lab to look at his plan board. According to it, Copen was planning to turn Atari in to the FSA before using Lola to override their equipment.
That would hopefully explode the building in a fire ball. (And yes, he did intend on leaving Atari in the building when he carried out his master plan. Even if he knew that Atari was half human, trust me. Knowing him, Copen could, and would, care less.)
Before anybody knew it, it was morning. So, Gunvolt and Joule got up, afterwards, they changed their clothes, brushed their teeth, ate breakfast, and went their separate ways. While Gunvolt was walking to work, he got a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach.
'How am I going to tell Asimov?' Gunvolt worried.
Soon enough, Gunvolt was looking up at the building.
"Well, time to face the music." Gunvolt spoke to himself aloud.
