Suddenly, Atari and Gunvolt saw Asimov and walked over to him.
"Great job GV, you to Lily. You've both exceeded my every expectation. Now it's time to ring in a new era." Asimov spoke.
Atari stepped behind Gunvolt.
"What's he talking about GV?" Atari questioned nervously.
"Humans are too much of a threat to Adepts. Therefore, with the assistance of you both, all humans will be eliminated. And the Earth will finally be a safe haven for all Adepts." Asimov responded.
Gunvolt looked at Atari who shook her head nervously. Gunvolt then looked back at Asimov.
"Look Asimov, I am eternally grateful to you for rescuing me from the Sumeragi. But if this is what you believe is right, then I'm sorry but it looks like this is where we part ways." Gunvolt spoke.
"I see. If that's the case, I suppose I have no choice but to let you rest both rest in pieces since you both are no longer of use to me." Asimov replied before grabbing a gun that was vaguely familiar, to both Gunvolt and Atari.
"That's Copen's gun." Gunvolt noticed.
"That's right. To think the human barely grazed me with a shot." Asimov added before aiming the gun at Gunvolt.
Suddenly, Asimov shot Gunvolt.
My chest… was hot… my mind… blank… (I don't do POV's well so please just go along with this)
Suddenly, Gunvolt collapsed onto his knees before the top half of his body plummeted to the floor.
'No, he can't be dead. He wouldn't go down, not like this!' Atari thought.
"G-GV-!" Atari shrieked.
"Your next Lily." Asimov notified.
Suddenly, Atari fell to the ground just like Gunvolt did. He was not dead, so Gunvolt saw this.
My vision was so hazy… but I… saw her… crumple to the floor… no… I… must… protect… her…
