So, everyone walked to the sanatorium. When Mytyl saw that Copen was alright and in one piece, she ran over and hugged him.

"Did something happen while I was gone?" Copen wondered.

"I just missed you that's all." Mytyl informed.

"So, what are we going to do about Dystnine?" Atari pondered.

"I dunno, but I do know I'm goin back to my apartment and play some videogames." Zeno commented before leaving.

"I wish I could afford an apartment so I could live by myself." Atari muttered.

"You do have a job with QUILL but I don't know where your paycheck is going or even if you're getting one." Gunvolt supposed.

"I just wish I could be independent so I wouldn't be a burden to others as much as I am now." Atari sighed.

"You could stay here if you'd like." Nori offered.

"No thanks, if I get desperate maybe." Atari denied.

"Why's that?" Copen questioned.

"Your nickname in the QUILL database is the Adept slayer. And I've already seen what you can do so no thank you. Personally I'd rather sleep on the streets than spend a night here." Atari answered.

"You wouldn't even stay in my room with me?" Mytyl pouted.

Atari looked at Mytyl to see a sad expression on her face.

"I won't surrender even if you do the saddest pouty face on the planet. I'm not risking my life if I don't have to." Atari protested.

Mytyl sighed, knowing there was no changing Atari's mind.

"You can come back with me and I'll ask Zeno if you have a bank account so you can get an apartment." Gunvolt suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." Atari agreed before leaving.

What everyone didn't know was Dystnine was talking with Crimm.

So, Gunvolt helped Atari get an apartment and the two looked around it in fascination.

"Wow, this, this is absolutely incredible! The kitchen has an oven, a counter, cabinets, it's already stocked with everything!" Atari beamed.

"Um, actually, there was some cutlery with a few dishes and some cans of food in the rubble. So I don't know if it was a recently evacuated area but I recommend going back to the rubble and seeing what we can find." Gunvolt suggested.

"Alright, let's go." Atari confirmed.

While Gunvolt and Atari were walking, Gunvolt thought he noticed something red shimmering in the right corner of his eye. After looking down, Gunvolt noticed it looked like part of a Copen's shield.

Suddenly, Gunvolt and Atari heard an explosion.
