Atari then woke up and saw the heart rate monitor attached to her. She pulled it off and screamed as she ran downstairs.
"You guys do know that there's a giant robot still outside right?" Atari doubted.
"Let's see if it has any actual connection to Lola." Copen commented.
However, when Atari tried to go outside, Gunvolt stopped her.
"Sorry Lily, but we can't risk you getting caught or passing out again. It's best you stay inside." Gunvolt apologized.
"What!? that's never stopped you from letting me help before! It's because the emotional connection you had with Asimov from seeing him as a father figure you're worried is going to cloud your judgement or won't allow you to think straight and you won't know what's going on around you until it's too late?" Atari guessed.
"If you tell anyone we'll both be in big trouble." Gunvolt confirmed.
Atari nodded before her and Gunvolt went outside to help the others. Atari used her Spiral Septima to lift Zeno into the air so he could tag and flash the robots core cover easier. While the boys were attacking the robot, Lumen, Lola and Atari were singing. When the third and final attack phase was initiated, the robot started moving forwards and backwards.
So, everyone distanced themselves from the robot and used long range attacks. After the robot was eliminated, everyone went back inside the sanatorium.
"Lily, do you think you could watch over Mytyl here in my place?" Copen hoped.
"I'm not stupid. I know you want me to stay here since I'm just a half human half Adept. Mainly because I'm a girl I bet." Atari pouted.
"It'd be a lot less for us to worry about besides getting the password." Gunvolt added.
"Fine, but I'm only doing this for Mytyl." Atari complained before going back upstairs into Mytyl's room and sitting down in the bottom right corner of the room.
"Is something wrong?" Mytyl wondered.
"I don't get it, Lola can go on missions in her physical form but I can't! I get that Lumen can go on missions since attacks go right through her but I don't get how Lola gets to go and I don't, this isn't fair." Atari whined.
"Maybe because Lola is made of metal and can take damage better." Mytyl guessed.
"True, I didn't think about that. It just sucks when people think you can't do anything and you're the one constantly being the protected instead of the protector." Atari muttered.
After Atari finished talking, Xiao entered the room.
"I'm staying here to so there's no need to feel bad Lily. I'm staying so I can notify you if the others need help and so I can guide them through the mission." Xiao notified.
"Yeah, we can't risk the technical engineer not being able to function properly." Atari commented.
