Meanwhile, Copen and the others returned to the sanatorium and were sifting through the data. While Xiao, Gunvolt and Copen were searching for the password, Zeno decided to go upstairs and tell Atari he was back. However, when Zeno knocked on the door, there was no response.
'Maybe she decided to take a nap. We were gone a while anyways.' Zeno supposed before going back downstairs.
"How's Mytyl?" Copen questioned.
"I think she's taking a nap. I knocked on the door but didn't get a response." Zeno answered.
"That's strange, Mytyl never takes naps unless she's sick. I'd better go check." Copen muttered before going upstairs and opening the door to his sisters bedroom.
Much to his surprise, Mytyl wasn't in her room. Copen then went downstairs and told Nori of the situation.
"It seems Atari has dissapeared as well." Nori notified.
Zeno, Gunvolt, Lumen and Copen were all looking at Xiao.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Xiao pondered.
"You don't know where Mytyl and Atari went?" Lumen worried.
"They're gone? I know Lily asked me if I needed any help but I told her no and she left to go upstairs since I heard a door upstairs close." Xiao remembered.
"Wait! Atari and Mytyl have to be together somewhere! GV check your watch!" Lumen noted.
Gunvolt checked the watch for Atari's coordinates which revealed that the girls were still at the mall.
"We'll be back." Gunvolt confirmed before leaving again with Zeno and Copen.
"So, we probably have to go back to the sanatorium now since the guys might be back. Is there anything else you want to look at before we go?" Atari wondered.
"There you two are!" Zeno shouted.
"What!?" Atari shrieked before being enveloped in a tight hug by Zeno.
"And you didn't think of telling Nori where you were going?" Copen interrogated.
Mytyl shook her head while looking down.
"Did anything happen like any Sumeragi workers appearing?" Gunvolt asked.
Atari shook her head. Mytyl nodded, wanting to tell everyone, regardless of the consequences that were sure to follow.
"Why are you saying no?" Zeno queried.
Atari nodded.
"Something did happen, I just ddin't want me or Mytyl to get into trouble. Usually when I get into trouble, so do you guys and I didn't want that to happen again." Atari confessed.
"You can tell us everything when we get back to the sanatorium." Zeno notified.
After everyone got to the basement of the sanatorium, everyone was sitting down. Atari was sitting down nervously, her knees shaking.
"Um, well, a guy, came up to us, in the street a-and asked us if we were lost. I told him no and we went to hide at a nearby cafe but Mytyl reminded me there was more people at the mall. That way, if something happened, someone would be more likely to notice. So, we went to the mall and looked at bracelets and stuff. Suddenly, Mytyl pointed behind me. Looking, needless to say, wasn't my best idea. Because when I turned around, the guy, he grabbed my hands so I wouldn't be able to run away.
Mytyl ran to get the person working in the store, but they thought everything was fine. So, she had to find a security guard while I tried to find a way out of the situation. I know you gave me that advice to use GV, about making a scene, but, I was afraid a Sumeragi worker would find me. And I didn't want to cause you and everyone else here any extra trouble. Finally, after what seemed like forever, Mytyl brought over a security guard.
She asked if everything was alright but the boy had the nerve to say I was his girlfriend. And on top of that he said I forgot to take my anxiety medication. Mytyl shook her head no and told her what happened. Then the lady dragged him away. I was so scared, I didn't know what to do." Atari sniffled before bursting into tears. Zeno hugged Atari as she cried on his left shoulder.
"We'd better get back, it's getting late." Gunvolt notified.
