Back with Copen and Gunvolt, they were walking around the facility until they reached the Hexapyle halfway through. When they heard something approach, the two turned and looked at their surroundings. However, there appeared to be nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, they didn't notice the crimson threads scattered throughout the facility. Nor were they able to see the trap laying in wait for them.
As they worked on destroying the Hexapyle, Gunvolt saw a glimmer from one of the strands out of the corner of his left eye.
"Is it just me or does it look like there's a red line on the floor?" Gunvolt pondered.
Copen looked to his left on the floor and identified the mysterious object in question as a line of red yarn.
"It appears to be yarn. I can't understand why it would be in a facility like this. An inspection may prove useful." Copen commented as he walked towards the yarn to see if he could get any answers as to why it was there.
When Copen stepped near the yarn, it snaked up his leg and wrapped around his body, lifting him to the ceiling as well.
"I'll be fine, take out the Hexapyle and go on without me." Copen notified.
Gunvolt nodded and continued his attack. But as soon as he finished, Gunvolt heard a thump and turned. Copen was unconscious on the floor, the yarn was gone.
'This isn't good, maybe now would be a good time to call for backup.' was Gunvolt's last thought before he was rendered comatose.
"I've got the last page of my story done!" Mytyl notified.
"I'm coming." Atari informed as she walked upstairs.
"Does it look okay?" Mytyl pondered.
"What about a character and outfit design?" Atari suggested.
Huh? What's that?" Mytyl wondered.
"That's where you describe wether your character is male, female, short, tall, things like that. And an outfit description tells your readers what the character is wearing. For example you could say that a male character is wearing a blue short shoulder sleeve shirt, black slim jeans. He could even have black hair, green eyes and a height of five feet seven inches." Atari recommended.
"What about his name? I'm terrible at coming up with names." Mytyl added.
"How about Theo?" Atari pondered.
Mytyl smiled before nodding and writing down the notes. Atari and Zeno returned downstairs.
"Do you need any help Xiao?" Atari wondered.
"It's fine for right now. Hold on, you two need to get there ASAP! Something just happened to GV and Copen. I'm not picking up any response from their coms. Whatever happened can't be good." Xiao responded.
Atari and Zeno then left. When they found where Gunvolt and Copen were, Atari was shaking. She found them lying face down in a sleep like state on the floor.
"You were right man, it's lights out for them right now." Zeno informed.
"Keep going forward, we need you two to finish the mission in their place." Xiao stated.
Zeno offered Atari to hold his hand as they walked which she happily accepted. Atari looked down to her left as they walked.
"Do you, do you think we should bring them back with us?" Atari queried.
"I think that'd be a good idea but I don't know how we'd do that." Zeno agreed.
"Yeah, it's best we just focus on the mission right now." Atari muttered.
Atari and Zeno continued on cautiously.
