"Is it just me, or is there red string everywhere?" Atari pondered.
"Huh? I haven't seen anything like that." Zeno commented.
"I thought I saw some on Copen, there was some on GV too. It looked like it was around their limbs, almost like those wooden puppets." Atari muttered.
"Those are called marionettes. Maybe Asroc's back, he had Marionette Septima which allowed him to control robots. Maybe he used it to take control of Copen's armor. But as for Geeves I have absolutely no idea. He coulda hijacked his Azure Striker and taken control of him like that." Zeno added.
"I just hope whatever it was doesn't do what it did to them to us." Atari stammered.
After continuing their walk for 45 minutes, the two reached their destination.
"The password is in that server. Since you don't have Lola to hack it I'll do it from my end but it's going to take a while. Let's just hope no one shows up." Xiao notified.
However, as soon as Xiao finished talking, an 18 year old male with light brown eyes and pearl white, fluffy hair that went past his shoulders. He was dressed in a prison uniform consisting of a white vest underneath an orange zip-up jacket, matching trousers and brown shoes. Draped over his shoulders was a black jacket signifying his status as a Falcon, with red and gold highlights, gold buttons and epaulettes, along with a Falcon Quill pinned to it. He also wore a pair of handcuffs.
"I'm surprised, for a second there I thought nobody else was going to show up. I did take out the enemy after all." The stranger rambled.
"Who are you?" Zeno interrogated.
"How silly of me to forget introductions. My name's Rebellio." The stranger now identified as Rebellio introduced.
"GV isn't your enemy and neither are we." Atari declared.
"I assume you're talking about the boy in blue. You would be correct then, as the one is red was my designated target." Rebellio stated.
"Copen, but why him? What'd he ever do to ya?" Zeno questioned.
"There's no direct association between his actions and me. However, the Sumeragi has agreed to pardon my penalty if I eliminated IX. For good measure that they won't revoke my pardon, I'll take you both out as well." Rebellio informed.
Just then, Rebellio the quill from his jacket, created a circle in the air with the pen and took on a completely different appearance. He obtained black and white amour all over his body, with emphasis on his collar, forearms and hips, from which two large pieces of armor sprouted. His eyes turned black and his irises turn a pure, glowing white, matching his hair, which also grew much larger and floated, resembling a sheep, and smoothly flashed several different colours. He also had two large, black, ram-like horns on his head. In addition, Rebellio manifested a halo made of red energy wool.
Atari took out her fan and Zeno took out his gun. Unfortunately, red thread similar to the thread Atari saw in the hall took her weapon and Zeno's before crashing them into a wall, breaking them.
"He's controlling the thread. If we can somehow cut the thread, maybe we can make an attack opening." Atari theorized.
It seemed Zeno was way ahead of Atari as he kicked Rebellio in the chest with his right leg, causing him back to slam into the wall behind him. Atari grabbed a shard of her fan and used it to cut the threads. When Atari finished cutting the threads, Copen and Gunvolt entered the room. Atari and Zeno breathed a subconscious sigh of relief.
Copen and Gunvolt fought Rebellio while Atari backed them up with her singing as Zeno was the distraction. Rebellio used his Anchor Scythe attack to get above Copen before jumping down and scratching his Megante Leon armor with the scythe. Copen backed up and glared at Rebellio before tagging him.
"Rebellio's the one controlling the threads that caught you two earlier! GV, you can cut them with Luxcalibur and use that to give you an attack opening!" Atari shouted.
Gunvolt took the opportunity of Rebellio being distracted by Atari to use Luxcalibur and cut the threads attached to Rebellio's fingers. Copen used Shred Storm while Gunvolt used Astrasphere and Rebellio was defeated. Atari picked up the shards of her fan and the pieces of Zeno's gun, looking down as she returned to the others.
"I don't think there's any way Xiao can fix this." Atari sighed.
"I can take a crack at it." Copen offered.
"We'd really appreciate it." Atari thanked.
"I'll get the data now." Lola confirmed.
When she finished retrieving the data, Lola went back.
"The data's even more encrypted than last time. It'll take longer to decode." Lola stated.
"As soon as we get back I'll get started." Copen assured.
"That's not a good idea, what about checking for wounds? Zeno and I saw you and GV out cold on the floor earlier near where the Hexapyle was." Atari added.
"I'll be fine." Copen notified.
