"Meanie! That's not fair! Fi ne! But if something happens to you, I'm not using my Muse Septima to help!" Atari fumed.

"Atari, why's he called the Adept Slayer?" Mytyl queried.

"Huh? Uh, I, um, are you sure you really want to know? I know Zeno told me that but I don't remember what exactly he said. Why don't we wait until they get back and then Copen can tell you." Atari commented.

"Why don't you like him?" Mytyl interrogated.

"He's so mean! Killing Adepts just because they exist!? Just because one Adept does something doesn't mean they're all bad! Alright, maybe a few, quite a bunch. But, he's met GV, and he's a good person. It's just like with humans, there's some good and some bad. At the end of the day, one person doing bad doesn't mean the entire population's bad." Atari ranted.

"T-that's why he's called the Adept Slayer?" Mytyl questioned.

Atari gasped and covered her mouth with her left hand.

"I said too much." Atari squeaked.

Meanwhile, the others weren't having much trouble with the mission at the moment.

"Why'd ya do that to Lily? She was just tryna help." Zeno huffed.

"It's not my fault she's determined to stop us from completing our objective; maybe the memories Stratos gave her are finally starting to kick in." Copen remarked.

That's when Zeno lost it.

"I don't get it! You undermine Adepts and you say you're fine with humans! Yet you undermine Lily like she's worse than both! She didn't ask to be here, she didn't ask for anything to happen to her! And you act like she's the one who made all this happen! If anything you're more at fault for this than anyone! All the enemies we've fought recently ARE after YOU anyways!" Zeno yelled.

Copen sighed.

"Anything that happens to her isn't under my jurisdiction. I plan to stay as far away from the Sumeragi as possible. Them coming after me is possibly to compensate for losing my father. They most likely believe I have the information they lost that day." Copen commented.

Though it wasn't really visible, Zeno could see Copen slightly recoil at those words. Regret ebbed at his mind, he thought he could stop the event from happening. When Asimov took his gun from him, it was as if all chances of hope were lost for him. The one thing that he could do good, that could make him feel good, was nothing but a lost hope.

Revenge began to seem like a dream for Copen. But now, he could finally get his revenge, and not only avenge his father, but make up for his relationship with Mytyl. Something of which he felt was a close bond, but could be closer. Most of the time, Copen ate dinner by himself in the basement.

Lola was the one to talk with his sister most of the time, along with Nori when the daring diva wasn't around. Gunvolt and Lumen merely kept quiet from fear of causing another fight to break out. From there on out, everyone was walking on thin ice. Not just from the conversation, but the possibility of what waited for them at the edge of the facility.

"Is it just me, or is there a breeze in here?" Zeno noticed.

"I feel it too, it should be impossible since we're underground but maybe some air conditioning might be running." Copen added.

"But wouldn't we have heard it or even seen an air conditioning unit around here somewhere or above ground?" Gunvolt doubted.

"GV's right, we would've seen something indicating the breeze was caused by air conditioning already most likely. And the breeze is only here, we just noticed it." Lumen stated.

"I hate so say it, but you're correct Lumen. Which means something, or someone, is behind the gust." Copen confirmed.

After entering the room at the end of the hall, everyone realized Bakto was the source of the wind.
