"Copen, I'm detecting movement in the hall, going towards the right room." Nori notified.
"Uh oh, that's not good." Lola worried.
"GV, there's an incoming unknown signal heading for the right room." Xiao informed.
"There's an unknown enemy signal approaching your location." Moniqa stated nervously.
"Is there anywhere we can hide?" Zeno queried.
"'I don't see anywhere, you'll have to hide in or near one of the crates." Moniqa responded.
"I see a crowbar, we can use it too pry open a crate and hide in it." Zeno stated as he walked over to the crowbar and picked it up.
"This crate seems big and tall enough. Do you think it'll work?" Atari wondered.
"It's worth a shot." Zeno supposed as he pried a side off the crate which created a loud thud.
"Zeno, I didn't want to be the one to inform you or have to inform you of this again. But your tatics have notified the Sumeragi of your presence again." Moniqa muttered.
So, Zeno moved the crate near the wall after Atari got in, following shortly after when the crate was near enough to the wall. He and Atari held up the pried off side to make it appear as if the crate was untouched. In it contained peculiar pieces of machinery.
"Moniqa, can you tell Copen and Xiao I we found some weird metal junk in the crate we're using as a disguise?" Zeno pondered.
"Xiao, Zeno asked if you could inform Copen he found some machinery parts in a crate." Moniqa elucidated.
"What kind of parts exactly?" Copen asked.
"I dunno man, I don't make robots I just break em." Zeno remarked.
"I'll go see for myself." Copen supposed.
"We have to defeat the incoming soldiers anyways." Gunvolt remembered.
Luckily, all it took was some tags and flashes from Gunvolt and Copen to defeat the mere 15 soldiers.
"Nori, you need to get Zeno and Atari to move ASAP to the center hall. I hear the Seraph's engines outside near the loading dock." Copen demanded.
"Let's move." Zeno spoke as he and Atari went to catch up with the others.
Luckily, all of them got on the plane. However, as Zeno and Atari went to catch up with the 4 already on the Seraph, they were spotted by Sumeragi soldiers. Luckily, the loading bay door closed before anything could be done about it by the soldiers.
"They saw your cape too, right GV? Though I don't know if you'd exactly call it a cape." Lumen commented.
"Does anyone know about that incoming enemy signal? It couldn't have been the soldiers or maybe it was just one?" Atari questioned.
"I think it was amongst the soldiers from what I recall." Moniqa elucidated.
"There was one in purple leading the others." Gunvolt noted.
"That's weird, maybe they're of a higher rank?" Lola guessed.
"Their attack though, it was similar to that of an Adept I heard of working for the Sumeragi before. The Septima was Psycho-something." Copen reminisced.
"Psychokinesis? That's the same Septima that Nova had." Gunvolt replied.
"Sounds like that guy really put the psycho in that Psychokinesis." Lola mocked.
"What are we going to do now? Mytyl has to be in here somewhere right?" Atari asked.
As soon as Atari finished her sentence, a rattling was heard, coming from a locked crate in the center of the other half of the room. Luckily, Zeno still had his crowbar from before to knock out another set of 4 soldiers. He tried to remove a section of the crate but was electrocuted before he could do such. Hoping since he had prior experience with electricity, Zeno handed the crowbar to Gunvolt. After moving the chains to the sides and prying the top off, it was revealed that the cargo inside was Mytyl.
Huh? Am I having that dream again? But this isn't an angel. I've never even seen this person before. Mytyl thought as she looked up and tried to identify the mysterious person against the stark white lighting.
"Hey, are you alright?" Gunvolt wondered.
"Don't you dare touch her Adept, this is as far as you go. The Sumeragi's my problem, not yours." Copen snarled as he aimed his gun at Gunvolt.
"He has things against them too you know, it's not just you. I'm sure others can say the same." Zeno rebuked as he looked at Copen while side eying Atari and Gunvolt with a bit of sadness and anger in his eyes.
Copen retreived Mytyl from inside the box and placed her gently on the floor with her back against the back wall.
"Are you okay?" Copen worried as he looked at Mytyl with his right hand on her right shoulder.
Mytyl nodded happily.
"I'm so glad you're okay girl! We really need to stop seeing each other like this though!" Lola smiled.
"What do you think they were trying to do with her?" Copen wondered.
"I've hacked their system, from what I'm looking at their after the Muse. And they're looking to eliminate you to get to it." Nori elucidated.
Suddenly, alarms began to blare all throughout the Seraph.
"Um, is it just me or does it sound like something's wrong?" Lola worried.
"It's not just you Lola." Copen assured.
"Someone hijacked the Seraph, it wasn't me. It's going to crash into the Sumeragi building if you all don't get out now." Nori warned.
"I've got an idea, but I'll need some help." Gunvolt commented.
"What exactly do you plan to do?" Lumen queried.
"We're going to use an EMP to keep the Seraph in the air so everyone can exit safely. When it's close enough for everyone to land on the roof of the Sumeragi building, we'll have to jump on it." Gunvolt explained.
"From my calculations it'll be five minutes until there's a safe jumping distance." Nori stated.
