"I got the password part we needed! That's one down, five to go." Lola notified.
"Maybe we should go back home" Zeno pondered.
"It's too far. It's possible some Sumeragi personnel might have lived here and had a kitchen and some and a place to sleep." Copen theorized.
"Look, this looks like an energy bar. Twenty four hour energy?" Lola rambled.
"it seems to have all of the essential nutrients required in a day by the human body. And it's, apple cinnamon flavored?" Copen examined.
"Well, there's only one way to find out." Zeno supposed as he grabbed a bar out of the wall safe for himself and Atari.
Copen and Gunvolt got themselves a bar and ate as well.
"That must be another of Sumeragi's technological marvels." Copen guessed as he took a bite.
"It reminds me of that layered cinnamon struesel cake we made. The one with a layer of cake on the bottom, apple pie filling in the middle and another layer of cake on top. Except the leftover cinnamon sugar mix we used to make dessert dumplings. when you said we were supposed to make something and there was that canned crescent roll dough in the refridgerator. That's what the crisp and flaky texture seems like. And we mixed the cinnamon sugar with the leftover apples, put them in spoonfuls into cut squares of dough, folded them over, sealed them and put them in the oven. They were so good!" Atari remembered.
"I didn't know you could do that." Gunvolt doubted.
"Lily actually gave me the idea when she was looking at canned ravioli. You can do the same thing with pie crust." Zeno explained.
"Moniqa told me you called it trashioli." Gunvolt reminisced.
"What? It was funny." Zeno remarked.
"Wait, is that a sofa over there?" Atari asked.
Thinking it was a trap set up by the enemy, Copen aimed his gun at the couch while walkiing towards it. Upon inspection however, it was confirmed that the couch was just a couch. So the boys sat on it while Atari wandered around the room. When everyone was finished eating, they noticed the stars wre beginning to show.
"We'd better get some sleep. Tomorrow we'll get the second part of the password." Copen advised.
Zeno slept on the couch while everyone else slept on the floor. Copen slept sitting up with Lola in his right hand. The next morning, everyone awoke ready to fight, regardless of their soreness.
"We're near the Jungle Block, the second Gravekeeper is there." Copen stated.
A long trek was made to their desired destination.
"Wow! I've never seen an actual jungle before! This is so cool!" Atari squealed excitedly.
"Is there any way you can quiet her down before the whole building knows we're here?" Copen muttered.
"Lily, can you keep it down? Otherwise we'll be neck deep in more enemies than we can handle." Zeno cautioned while eyeing Copen from behind as the Adept Slayer walked ahead.
They came across new enemies, this one looked like it had one red 'eye'. The appearance was similar to a dinosaur and it was holding a missle launcher over its right shoulder. A purple robot with a shield that could turn its head 360 and fire a laser. Round red robots reminiscent of Lola in shape and eyes with a rocket on its right hand with wings.
A machine was spotted which reminded the heroes of a wood chipper. It had a chute which shot round metal exploding boulders. The mission probably would've taken less time if Atari wouldn't have decided to play in every single body of water she could. She splashed Zeno and Gunvolt.
Deciding that when they were done, it would be best to go home and get a change of clothes. Atari was afraid to jump where the waterfall was on the cliff face. After jumping, she was frozen in fear for 5-10 minutes. So, Zeno had to keep telling her everything was going to be alright and that she was okay.
Upon entering the second area, vines wre discovered. Copen burnt them away with the Blazing Ballista EX Weapon. It could also burn thorny bristles, which certainly cut, scraped and scratched Atari.
"We may need to bring a first aid kit too for when we return." Copen mumbled as he noticed Zeno appeared as if he wished to wage a full scale war with the pesky plant.
He actually attempted to whack it with the barrel of his Ga2044 ORSO gun. However, it scratched up the paint job. The Hexapyles were different this time around as well. They were magenta, seperated in two like an opening mouth of sharp teeth when opened and had an emblem that looked like a gemstone 'pillar' stabbed by a sword blade. They soon reached the Gravekeeper of the Jungle Block. She had a yellow color scheme, very large posterior and thighs, which invoked the image of a bees abdomen, minus the black stripes. She also had plane-like wings and propellers on her back, and cat-like ears on the sides of her head, which also had mandible-like parts.
"Why are you pesky intruders here!? Can't you see I'm busy!?" Vespa ranted.
"All you're doing is standing around." Copen stated.
"The great Vespa, well renowned propellor prodigy, is always doing something of great importance!" Vespa rebuked.
"Since when was being lazy important?" Copen scoffed.
"How DARE you!? My propellors will rip you to shreds!" Vespa shouted.
Vespa flew overhead and released rockets that hovered an inch above the ground and flew to the right. All three of them had blue flames. Everyone easily jumped over them.
"Is this some kind of joke?" Copen questioned.
Vespa growled and used her lance to conjure two orbs of green energy surrounded by visible circular wind currents, two of them in fact. Vespa used the wind attack two more times and the rocket attack once more. Zeno, Gunvolt, Copen and Atari threw what attacks they could. While Copen Bullit Dashed behind Vespa to tag her, everyone else took damage from a rocket torrent.
The rockets were released 15 feet in the air as Vespa lowered herself and aimed to the left. She stopped the attack and stabbed Copen in the chest with her lance. Vespa disappeared into the treetops before coming back down. Doing what she did to Copen to Zeno and Copen again who were standing on the left followed by Atari and Gunvolt who were standing on the right.
Finishing this three part attack by going flying with her lance held in front of her from right to left. Vespa used the rocket attack again, this time having the rockets fly to the right instead of the left. The wind orb attack was used this way as well with the orbs tracking Gunvolt and Atari's movements to damage them. In a final desperate attempt to get rid of the group, Vespa felt she had no choice left but to use her special attack: Stinger Torrent.
Vespa drilled through the ground on the right, forcing Gunvolt and Atari to jump as a green whirlwind formed where the hole was. Then the left side suffered the same fate so the four were stuck in the center of the area. A whirlwind was placed on the center of the area of land left and Vespa let six flying mines fall. Three on each side of the whirlwind. Zeno and Gunvolt tagged and attacked Vespa as she released an orb attack aimed on the right. As the orbs damaged Zeno and Gunvolt, Vespa was defeated.
