As soon as she entered, Atari was enthralled by the sights around her.
"This is what the view from Firmament looked like. But I never would've imagined I'd be able to get so close to it." Atari whispered happily.
It's great, but please try not ta get distracted this time." Zeno retorted.
Another new enemy was encountered. It was similar in build to a spaced rover. Instead though, it had six wheels, a clear dome on top with a titanium and a metallic orange band at the bottom of a titanium laser cannon. Around the main body there was a glowing band of purple. It was even harder for Atari to focus in that block than it was in any of the other blocks. Especially when they had to jump across the asteroid field.
"I heard there's supposed to be metal in these that scientists are trying to mine right now." Atari remembered.
When she saw the hallway to reach the second half of the building, Atari was invested in exploring every part of the building that she could. If it wasn't for Zeno, she would've jumped down into them any chance she got. Or her fear of heights, the dark and waht possibly lied in it. They soon reached the final Gravekeeper. He looked an awful lot like the Greninja pokemon which Zeno was quick to notice and even quicker to point out.
"I take it you're the Gravekeeper of this block." Copen noted.
"Target confirmed, commencing target eliminaton protocol." Ace muttered as he planned his attack.
Ace jumped into the air and threw boomerangs as the group advanced to tag him. He threw a bigger boomerang ten feet away from him. It spun as he jumped into the air, only to land on tiny mines which threw gravel around. Ace threw another tiny boomerang, then five more of them. The big boomerang trick was used again, the small one, five small boomerangs and the big one yet again.
"Can't this guy get a hobby or somethin'?" Zeno remarked as he dodged the two small boomerang attacks while Gunvolt activated Ace's second gauge.
Ace used the five boomerang trick a lot it seemed. He threw the two big boomerangs which spun near him as he threw two exploding mini boomerangs on the ground directly in front of him. He used the single big boomerang attack followed by the small one. The five were released as Ace's final gauge was initiated.
His special attack was Twin Meteor Burst. It used two boomerangs encased in orbs that went in the opposite direction of each other in a rectangular formation around Ace. The boomerangs soon formed a complete circle, encapsulating him. They were soon dispersed across the room with exactly one foot of distance between them.
Ace disappeared before reappearing on the left then right sides of the room. After dashing to the left side of the room and releasing five more boomerangs, Ace was finally defeated.
"And that's the last part of the elevator password. Now we can go and defeat that Mother Computer!" Lola cheered.
"We'd better get some rest first. Once we get to the elevator, there's no turning back." Copen declared.
Everyone brought energy bars, with 45 bars in total. They all ate a vanilla macaron flavored bar and fell asleep in the elevator. Whe they woke up, Copen found the elevator stopped. After the others awoke, they began their perilous grand finale of exploring the passage to the top floor.
Apparently there was a purple ooze that tried to stop them. Atari tripped, so Zeno turned around, grabbed her and carried her until they were out of range of the magenta magma. Gunvolt and Copen cleared the way of any enemies, which were sparsley seen. Until they were halfway through the first half of the top floor passageway.
The monster from the Jungle Block repaired itself with debris from the fight with Vespa thanks to its self repair module. It had a green gumdrop looking 'face', tree trunks, vines and branches along with a mix of metal with red wires underneath and green cannons in its 'hands'. First, it threw its right arm down, causing a green twisted vine with pink thorns to grow across the floor and up the back wall. It shot light citrine colored boulders, three of them into the air.
It sent its arms flying across the room after detaching and activating the boosters. The arms flew around the ceiling as the rest of the robot flew across the room. The arms returned as the roots grew over its face again. Its arms begun to spin and generate a sideways whirlwind.
As a final vine was created, Atari retagged the robot which was soon destroyed. A second torrent of purple ooze appeared as everyone ascended and safely reached the exit of the passage to the top floor. Only to find Vespa and Autocrhome waiting for them.
" I don't get it, how are they fine? We trashed them already!" Zeno huffed.
"It must have something to do with that Wood Golem we fought a second ago. It was in the Jungle Block along with Vespa. Not to mention Vespa and Autochrome are sibling craft." Copen theorized.
"Hold it right there! We recieved a direct order from Mother! This is the end of the line for you!" Vespa shouted.
"You may have defeated us one-on-one but now we fight as one! We won't let the likes of you take us down! Let's do this Vespa!" Autochrome declared!
"I'm with you brother!" Vespa agreed.
Autochrome used his target frames, only one of which hit Gunvolt. Vespa flew near the ceiling while Autochrome flew near the floor. This process was repeated 3 times before Vespa released 2 wind orbs. The flying streak attack was used again as Autochrome reached his second gauge. As a revenge attack, Autochrome unleashed more tag frames.
