Hello fellow Final Fantasy fans!
Yes, I planned this fanfic, but I was falling further behind. It was supposed to be until after getting the game, but... you know. Tiredness. School. Camp. Other things. No worries, I'm about to be on my feet as I work every bone in my body to get this fanfic written! Trying to get off my lazy bum to get this written lol. Here's the authors note explaining how the story will go, and how OCs are going to be before publishing chapters!
Also, this story may contain spoilers from both original and Reunion of Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII and the First Soldier from Ever Crisis, so it's been warned so I don't have to have much trouble for those who hadn't played them, or at least one of them! Be aware! Might be spoils for my story before even publishing some chapters, but some information of the story to share! ;
Anyways, this story takes place I'd say one year before the events of Crisis Core.
Rose LaBelle, my main OC character, is born different than any SOLDIER (and obviously everyone) and dreamed of becoming SOLDIER to prove herself as strong and worthy to everyone on the planet. From an idea I came up with, she is a childhood friend of Sephiroth (before they can get into a relationship :)), by visitations from Shinra. She is also the adoptive brother of Genesis Rhapsodos. I don't know which month in 1982 Genesis is born (the years of birth in FFVII didn't make since when researching XP), so whether Rose would be either a younger or an older sister to Genesis adoptively, both having love for entertainment heheheheh , and becoming an on and off understanding of what Genesis wants, to become a hero like Sephiroth, and having a secret rivalry against him. For Rose's dreams, she dreamed of becoming worthy of society, and it was the reason why she became SOLDIER is to become who she is and to be strong, confident, and be the best of the best and authentic, despite her emotions. Due to her past issues, she decided to join her friends in SOLDIER with her friends, especially Sephiroth when she learned he had join to impress him as well.
Rose starts to believe after becoming SOLDIER that she was much more due to the cells, different kinds than and before the Jenova cells lol and it came from a flower that symbolizes a magical gift and her birthplace's representation and life. She once got the cells and the gift when her mother was pregnant with her. She has an illness at a young age and lived through it with a cure that seemingly to be unknown, despite her enhancements, and she is unaware of one man Ghassan (my OC villain) sees that she is the one with the magical gift and will use her to unleash a dragon (name will be revealed soon) that Ghassan believes he is a God to his race, and he will use Rose to release him, and to destroy Gaia and rule with him to claim it his own.
Rose, Sephiroth, Genesis and Angeal were assigned on a mission to another regional land that is once a kingdom (my fan setting), which is Rose's birthplace, to learn it's origin and see if they can have agreements from the government and/or scientists to plant a mako reactor after years of pending on that decision, despite other people's plead to dispute, or reject the idea of producing mako reactors into their land due to their beliefs that they would drain the planet (obvisiously) and its mana energy that is like Mako that everyone knows, but color gold, created by a God that once created the land and ruled up in the heavens to watch over those who lived down there, until his daughter took his place after the war thousands of years ago. The SOLDIERs also are to be making new friends, such as the group of kids I decided to add (more OCs), who were interested into performing arts and get an inspiration from those SOLDIERs as they try to fit in, and they will meet other species that are new. Rose then tries to find out who she is. Fitting in and trying to do everything right can be a challenge for her when it comes of being SOLDIER. Rose is basically like Zack, but she had the most of dreaming of becoming SOLDIER and to become worth to everyone.
I know this story probably has nothing to do with what the story of FFVII is (which I try my best), but it shows about the approvals and associations with Shinra from another company, another Mako connecting with the original, that Rose was special like Sephiroth but different than what he is compared to her, but both special, both with different cells and exposure of enhancements. These two would probably feel the same. I'm just doing my best when it comes to love stories lol.
As for bios of each OC characters, fan settings, fan props, etc.. will probably be written in the description of the illustrations/artworks on Deviantart and Tumblr. I can also make a book of the bios for this story as well when I get around to it. Some bios would be the same, others were or might change, who knows? Lol
Rose is also inspired by appearance and personality to Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled, Mulan from Mulan, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Zelda from The Legend of Zelda series. I do intend of searching for inspirations that can create my story, characters, props and settings more fun and creative, see what's fit best . Rose is based on me in RL, likes, dislikes can vary and somewhat different (half of them) than how my RL is. Rose LaBelle isn't my real name, but my OC name does fit well for her. Her age is setted to be 17-18 during the events of this story, since I did plan on it last year, just hadn't gotten around to it.
I wasn't sure myself if I am ready to publish this, because I was afraid of getting criticized or make this story not as enjoyable because of my writing and all that. I was able to find some Crisis Core, or FFVII stories, some I am ready to read, others I would give myself time to. Just gotta have confidence! Might have some bad writing and grammar, but I will do my research to make my story interesting. Any criticism, at least in a respectful and a mature manner will be accepted! No hard feelings! Now, here on this site I probably won't have illustration artworks displayed for each chapters, because (obviously) this site doesn't do that. It would only work for profile pics and book cover (sometimes book cover doesn't show for some very odd reason aggghhh). I would only display some on Wattpad, Tumblr (if enough room in one post) and Deviantart (they can in fact put one artwork is a cover, just needed to figure out how to do that lol).
I did start playing Crisis Core Reunion on the switch with New Game Plus mode last week, which I choose the hard mode to see how it would do well before playing it again on the PS5 to 100 percent it to get all trophies. Switch version is just a practice as I go through of what I missed just to make up for it. I did some research via internet for trophy list and how to get them. My plan is finish Crisis Core Reunion on the switch before heading off to the classic FFVII. Playing FFVII (and Crisis Core) via Ever Crisis didn't matter, so yeah. I did manage to play First Soldier, which is a great opportunity to create back stories in this story! I am also planning on a Final Fantasy IX fanfic, so while play CCR, I can head on to FFIX. The original Final Fantasy will take awhile to beat as well . My brain is all over the place on a roller coaster of plans ha ha ha ha ha. Don't get me started on one SpongeBob episode with the whirly brains xD. Yeah, lots to do. I've been behind far too long. Plans everywhere from one plan to another xD.
Also, it'll take me awhile to finish First Soldier on Ever Crisis, because of GRINDING before every battles because I have a bad habit of starting boss fights without thinking thoroughly lol. Grinding is the WORST. It is taking SO MUCH out of me to grind in order to have a breeze time with stories, and is a pain (and annoying). I think other peeps felt the same way lol. I did say something about giving up on that game, but I rethought about it, and gave it another chance by getting it on Steam because it works crap on my phone. It's better on my computer now. However, I will try to enjoy Ever Crisis once in a awhile to experience the stories a little bit more. First Soldier is what I like to add into this story, as it does take place before Crisis Core, FFVII, Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus (which I'll never get to play since I don't have a PS2. I just have to watch gameplays). Before Crisis I might have to watch as well. I don't think there will me remakes or remasters of them, which sucks. But eh, you know what? It's alright! Crisis Core Reunion is good enough as it is! Which means I'm lucky enough to experience it (months ago lol). This story does take place after The First Soldier, except I didn't even beat it because of annoying grinding. It'll be awhile to have that beaten, and to even think of ideas for chapters when it takes place in any mentions of TFS .
I will have this story written and illustrations drawn (for Deviantart, Tumblr and Wattpad) while eventually trying to beat Crisis Core Reunion on a New Game Plus and start the classic FFVII before playing the remake trilogy :). I will have the chapters going by this weekend and during the week. Also, my other fanfic 9: Rose's Story is probably going be on hold for a bit while writing this, or perhaps I could get into writing this while doing this fanfic as well. I do have plans on writing pre (before this story), shorts (during this story) and post (after this story) fanfics after getting this story done, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for them ! I will get as much done as possible as I plan for a FFIX fanfic as well.

The genre is romance, action, adventure, comedy, friendship, fantasy, sci-fi, drama, hurt/comfort and angst
Nothing sexual here! I... am not comfortable writing sexual stuff myself. However, romance, affections and fluff can be here, not too sexual. That goes for gore as well. There might be some blood in this, but it would be minimum instead of crazy gore, which I won't do. This story is considered to be PG-13ish, so nothing too much with mature content.
And also, characters from FFVII, Crisis Core Reunion, The First Soldier, and the games do not belong to me! They all belong to the inspirationals Tetsuya Nomura, Hajime Tabata, Roberto Ferrari and SQUARE ENIX. However, my OCs and fan settings belongs to me. This story is not and will not be in profit, by monetization in any way. This is for fun for the lovely FF fans to enjoy!
Also, art cover belongs to me as well.
