So, Zeno reluctantly agreed to leave with Xiao. Atari found herself drifting off, until she heard a voice.
"Excuse me?" a male voice greeted.
Atari opened her eyes. Looking up, she saw someone she'd never met before. It was a boy with a red baseball cap, blue short sleeve shirt, khaki sorts and black converse shoes. Atari gained a frightened expression. The boy noticed this and smiled, hoping to avoid scaring Atari further.
"Do you have an MP three player?" the boy asked.
Atari was frightened to say anything. She gave him a confused expression.
"What's that?" Atari wondered.
"Follow me." the boy requested.
Atari got up -although rather hesitantly- and followed the boy. He entered the shop directly to the right of the candy store. It sold all kinds of electronics. From phones to laptops and wireless earbuds. The boy was standing near a wall of what looked to Atari like small multicolored metal boxes.
"Which one do you like?" the boy queried.
Atari walked up to the wall, pointing at a shiny purple and green one. The boy grabbed it before walking to the left of the wall near the checkout counter where the headphones were.
"Which ones do you want?" the boy asked.
Atari pointed at a pair of black and blue headphones that would somehow light up blue. The boy grabbed those as well and paid for them wit a card as Atari stood to the right. She was staring at the mysterious person who brought her here and wondering what was going on. He got a bag for the items without a receipt. He handed the bag to Atari who stopped walking after they exited the store.
She noticed the boy walking further into the store and yells "Wait, I didn't get your name!"
But it was too late, the kindhearted stranger already left. Atari was confused as she looked at the contents of the bag.
"I'm glad they had that new mint chocolate Kit Kat. When Lily tries it,she'll love it from the first bite." Zeno smiled as he and Xiao exited the store.
"Speaking of Lily, where is she? I don't see her near the fountain." Xiao stated.
Zeno looked up and sure enough, the techie was right. That's when Zeno began to freak out and look to see where she went. Zeno looked to his left, forward and to the right where he saw Atari standing in ront of the electronics store. Zeno and Xiao darted over.
"What are you doing over here!? And with a shopping bag no less!? I didn't give you any money!" Zeno shouted.
Atari bent her head down in shame. She pointed to where more stores were further into the mall.
"What's in the bag?" Zeno pondered as he looked at it.
Atari handed it to him slowly and shakily, afraid of being yelled at again. After looking int he bag, Zeno was shocked.
"How in the flippin' universe did you get this stuff!? Those are crazy expensive!" Zeno gasped.
"S-somebody c-came b-by and a-asked me if I-I w-wanted t-to s-s-see somet-thing in the s-s-store. I went with hi-im and he g-g-got me th-th-those." Atari stuttered nervously.
"At least it was a nice guy this time." Zeno supposed.
Xiao left to order them lunch while Zeno went with Atari to a store with girls stuff. He got her a cute notebook with activities for seven dollars, a cosmic stretchy headband for five dollars four chokers for thirteen dollars. After they got lunch, everyone wqalked around and found a spot to get ice cream outside.
"Uh, the ice cream's going to melt before we get to eat lunch. Are you sure it was a good idea?" Xiao wondered.
"Lily seems to think so. Besides, life's too short to not eat dessert first." Zeno assured.
While everyone did teir own thing, Copen found some information on the item Grazie used to transform.
"Lola, come take a look at this. Do you have anything like this in your databanks?" Copen supposed.
"Nothing, nada, zilch." Lola denied.
"It looks like those Binding Brands are in four separate locations. The pipes we saw in the Desert Base were to harness the energy of the Dragon Vein point via the Brand. Same for the factory we're storming tomorrow. I don't know why but there's one at Sumeragi's Megafloat facility. Possibly so it could be guarded at all times or so the facility can run on the Dragon Vein energy. As for the forest I can't say." Copen lectured.
He asked Gunvolt and Zeno to keep on the lookout for any information in regards to ATEMS. Dinner was rather quiet between Zeno and Atari, leaving the recon Stratacombs bomber nervous.
"You know, I got you a song, well, two actually, for that new MP three player you got." Zeno notified.
"I wanted to ask, how does it work?" Atari pondered.
"You translate an audio file into an MP three file and download them onto the MP three player." Zeno elaborated.
Unfortunately, all of what he just said was lost on the poor girl.
"YOu can use the device right after dinner." Zeno declared.
Atari was already eating quickly since she hadn't eaten anything else since lunch. But as soon as he said tat, Atari tried chewing and swallowing faster.
"Don't do that! You'll choke!" Zeno warned.
Atari didn't know what the word choke meant, but she stopped eating entirely after he said that.
"Just make sure that any bite you take is no bigger than a quarter and no taller than a bowtie pasta." Zeno advised as he showed the box of bowtie past to Atari.
When that didn't prove enough, he portioned out the ideal amount. Atari was able to put this into practice.
