In Class 1-A's classroom...
Midoriya sneezed when he was heading out to go to Gym Gamma. He grabbed his hero costume case that came out of the wall along with everyone else.
"I hope you're not getting a cold, Midoriya," Iida said to him, "We don't want you falling behind on your hero training."
"Don't worry. I'm sure it's just someone talking about me," Midoriya said back.
"I wonder if we're hero training with Class 1-M," Uraraka said to them, "We've been training with them for a while, but not back in Japan."
"Even if we don't train with them, we still need to work hard," Iida said back.
"You're right. Even though I don't have my Miraculous, I wanna make sure that I get some sort of training in today," Midoriya said to him.
Once everyone had their cases, Mr. Aizawa caught their attention. They all looked at him and were excited to start hero training. Classmates that were in Paris for a couple months were so excited to finally get back into it.
"Alright everyone," Mr. Aizawa said to them, "Some of you are a bit behind on hero training since we were at Paris for about three months. Luckily, we were able to keep up with it somewhat. Midoriya since you don't have your Miraculous, I want you to help train Ladybug and Cat Noir with AllMight."
Midoriya's eyes lit up once they all realized what this meant.
"Does that mean that we all get to do some hero training with Class 1-M?" Ashido asked him.
"Yes. But the rest of you will be working on improving your quirks with them," Mr. Aizawa said to them, "They're already there waiting for us so get your hero costumes on and get to Gym Gamma. I'll meet you there."
They all walked out of the classroom and headed to the changing rooms. Midoriya couldn't help but smile as he threw his backpack on. He was worried that Mr. Aizawa wouldn't let them train together. He must've realized that they work really well together and push them towards improving their quirks and combat skills. All he could think about was helping Ladybug and Cat Noir with their Miraculous. Mr. Aizawa must've realized that he can help them a lot with One for All, especially with AllMight finally around.
Midoriya quickly got changed into his hero costume. It felt weird to get changed into it since he was so used to transforming into it now. It kind of felt comforting as he put it on, and he couldn't help but smile. He just wished that he had Dekku around for this sort of thing. He kind of realized that his Kwami sort of became a supportive friend to him. Something about having a small little companion with him just felt really calming. He glanced down at his belt, expecting to see his Miraculous.
"Are you okay, Midoriya?" Iida asked him with his hero costume on and held his helmet.
"Yeah... I just... miss my Kwami is all," Midoriya said back, "It just feels weird now. Getting changed into my hero costume just feels strange now. I'm kind of used to transforming into it."
"I can see why that would help," Kaminari said as he put on his jacket, "You don't have to run into a restroom to put on your hero costume. You can just transform and bam! You're a hero! I'm kind of jealous of you and Bakugo. I wish I could do that."
Bakugo looked up since he didn't have to change and noticed Sparkky floating around. Midoriya could tell that he was still getting use to it. Having a small companion around all the time must feel a little weird to him. He started to notice that Bakugo's quirk still hadn't come back, and Midoriya really hoped that he was okay with it. Midoriya could still tell that something was up with him, but decided to leave it at that.
"Yeah, but I still have to recharge the thing every time I run out of ammo," Bakugo growled, "It won't even eat anything I give it. Just spicy foods."
"Hey! I don't like anything else," Sparkky said to him in the air, "If you want to transform, then spicy food it is."
"At least Sparkky doesn't eat camembert like Plagg," Midoriya pointed out, "That's all Adrien's Kwami eats. Kacchan would be smelling like cheese all the time."
"See? He gets it," Sparkky said, "Why didn't I get a holder like him?"
Bakugo's veins looked like they were about to pop as he tried to grab Sparkky. Everyone laughed at Bakugo trying to grab him, but couldn't quite reach him. Sparkky even went through a locker so he couldn't get him. Soon enough he caught him, and Sparkky let him have this one.
"Deku is not your damn holder! I am," Bakugo yelled at the Kwami, "Also, you're my damn quirk!"
"I may be your quirk, but that doesn't mean I don't think about these sort of things," Sparkky said to him, "Deku would clearly do great with your quirk. He has those notebooks, doesn't he?"
Midoriya noticed Bakugo looking up at him and stiffened up. Everyone was now looking at Midoriya, and he really wanted everyone to get back to changing into their hero costumes. Midoriya noticed Bakugo looking at his Miraculous, which made him worried about whatever he was considering. Midoriya watched him take off his Miraculous, causing his Kwami disappear.
"Kacchan, what're you doing?!" Midoriya cried out.
Before he said anything, Bakugo threw his Miraculous right at him. Midoriya fumbled with it, but ended up catching it before it could hit the ground.
"Just take it. I need a break from this damn Kwami," Bakugo growled out, "If they really thinks you can do just as good as me, then you can have my Miraculous for a while. Let's see how they like it."
Midoriya couldn't believe what was happening. Bakugo was letting him use his Miraculous. His explosion quirk.
"Are you sure about this Kacchan? I don't want you getting in trouble with Mr. Aizawa," Midoriya asked him, "I mean, this is your quirk!"
"I don't care. I need a damn break from the Kwami," Bakugo growled as he grabbed his hero costume, "Practice with it, I don't care. Just make sure you don't lose it."
Everyone was shocked to see Bakugo being okay with this all of a sudden. Midoriya looked down at the Miraculous and felt a little excited. He'd always wondered what it was like to have his quirk. Ever since he developed his quirk, it had always been something that he admired so much about him.
And now, he could actually try it out.
Midoriya hesitated to put it on, but took the ring and slid it into place. The Kwami reappeared right next to Midoriya, and Sparkky immediately noticed him wearing the Miraculous.
"Oh, so Katsuki is actually going through with it? I'm surprised," Sparkky said to him, "He's just a little hot headed right now. You should just give him some space."
Midoriya looked up to see Bakugo still putting on his hero costume. With Midoriya ready for hero training, he felt a little weird transforming with Bakugo's Miraculous.
"Come on, Midoriya!" Kaminari cried out, "I wanna see your hero costume with Bakugo's Miraculous on!"
"That's not how it works, Kaminari," Iida said to them, "Miraculous transform into a different costume no matter what you're wearing. Marinette told me that the hero costume changes depending on the holder. She even ended up switching Miraculous with Adrien one time."
"Really? I didn't know that," Kirishima said to him.
"I would love to see Ladybug in a cat costume," Mineta said with a sly smile as Sero quickly wrapped his tape around him.
Midoriya looked back at the Miraculous and then at Bakugo who was finally putting on his gauntlets. He didn't seem to be bothered by it, so Midoriya went back to Bakugo's Miraculous. He took a deep breath in and out and got ready to transform.
"Sparkky, Ignite!" Midoriya called out.
Suddenly Sparkky went into the Miraculous and surrounded Midoriya in an orange glowing light. Midoriya felt his arms get a little heavier as the glowing soon disappeared. He looked down to see him wearing Bakugo's gauntlets and wondered if that was his weapon like Ladybug's yo-yo. It even had the ammo ready and hooked up. As he wore it longer, he could already feel himself start to sweat a little.
Everyone was shocked to see Midoriya looking completely different from his regular hero costume. It looked very similar to Bakugo's winter costume, but his design was still somewhat similar to his hero costume for his spandex suit. His pants were black and wore an orange belt with grenades and ammo around his belt. His boots were not as bulky as Bakugo's but still fit with his costume. It had a black mask on but was less rugged than his. He even noticed that he was wearing a black hoodie and pushed it down to reveal his hair having yellowish orange streaks around the ends of it.
"Whoa! That is the coolest thing I've ever seen!" Kaminari cried out, "You look like you're wearing Bakugo's costume, but it's like a whole new style to it!"
"Yeah! It's kind of weird seeing you wearing it," Sero said back, "It's just crazy that whoever wears it has a different style and personality to it. Like, anyone could wear a Miraculous and have a completely different look. Like Ladybug or Cat Noir. It's actually kind of cool!"
"There's no way anyone else is getting my Miraculous after this," Bakugo growled at them, "Deku's holding onto it for now."
Bakugo was done getting dressed and headed straight for Gym Gamma. Midoriya felt bad for him, but he really did feel kinda cool wearing it. He looked in the mirror and noticed that his eyes looked like they were glowing a tiny bit. They kind of looked like they were sparkling a bit. As he looked at his costume more, he realized that it wasn't as edgy as Bakugo's. If anything, it looked more similar to his own hero costume, but with Bakugo's flare to it.
"Huh... Interesting..." Midoriya mumbled to himself.
"Alright everyone, let's hurry it up. We don't wanna be late for hero training," Iida said to them.
Soon enough, everyone was heading out of the school. All of the girls headed out, and they all noticed how different Midoriya looked right away. Uraraka was shocked to see him looking so similar to Bakugo that she thought it was him for a moment.
"Izuku?! Are you wearing Bakugo's Miraculous?!" Uraraka cried out as she held hands with him.
"Yeah. He actually got in a fight with Sparkky and said that he needed a break from it. So he let me have it for a bit," Midoriya explained to her.
"Midoriya, Bakugo's Miraculous looks good on you," Ashido said with a flirty smile on her face.
Midoriya felt his cheeks warm up a bit from Ashido's comment, causing Uraraka to give her a dirty look.
"U-Umm... Th-Thanks Ashido..." Midoriya said back a little flustered.
Uraraka stayed by his side as they all headed towards Gym Gamma. Midoriya noticed her not being able to stop looking at him since his hero costume looked completely different. Midoriya spotted Bakugo walking ahead with Kirishima. He seemed to already feel a little bit better, so he let him just hero train for a bit without his Miraculous.
"I just need to make sure that I get this to Kacchan later," Midoriya said to her, "I can't have him losing his quirk and his Miraculous too."
"I'm just surprised that Bakugo allowed you to have it, let alone transform," Uraraka said back.
"Yeah, well. I don't blame him for wanting a break considering he's obviously not used to not having a quirk," Midoriya said to her.
"It must be weird for him to suddenly have a small companion that basically is his quirk," Uraraka said back to him.
Midoriya felt a little bad for wearing Bakugo's Miraculous. Ever since he lost his Miraculous, he's been really missing Dekku a lot. He's been wanting someone to talk to and hug. He didn't even realize that he kind of relied on Dekku a little bit to be there for him.
"I know it's different for him, but I really miss Dekku. I guess I kind of need this too," Midoriya said to her.
Uraraka smiled at him and held his hand tightly. Soon enough, everyone finally showed up at Gym Gamma. They all entered to find Mr. Aizawa, AllMight and Class 1-M all waiting for Class 1-A.
"It's about time," Mr. Aizawa said to his class, "Midoriya, why don't you get started on training with Ladybug and Cat Noir. The rest of you pick a partner to train with. It can be anyone you want as long as no one gets hurt."
Once Midoriya walked over to AllMight, Ladybug and Cat Noir, Mr. Aizawa noticed his hero costume. Midoriya spotted him looking at his hand and instinctively tightened his fist. Midoriya could tell that he didn't look happy with this situation.
"Midoriya, why are you wearing Bakugo's Miraculous?" Mr. Aizawa asked him once he activated his quirk, "He shouldn't have given in to you in the first place."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Aizawa," Midoriya said to him, "But Kacchan just needed a break from his Kwami, so he gave it to me. I'll look after it for now. I'll even make sure he gets it back."
Mr. Aizawa let out an annoyed and long sigh and deactivated his quirk.
"Fine. Just don't overdo it," Mr. Aizawa said back, "We don't need you breaking your arms again."
Midoriya bowed to him and walked over to Ladybug, Cat Noir and AllMight. Everyone else picked partners to hero train with. Uraraka smiled at him and ended up training with Purple Tigress.
"Wow Izuku! I definitely didn't expect you to look like Katsuki today," Cat Noir said to him.
"Yeah well, I didn't either," Midoriya said to them, "So, what're we doing exactly? It seemed like Mr. Aizawa wanted me to help out with something specific."
"Yes," Ladybug said back, "Me and Cat Noir would love to understand One for All better. I may have more of One for All than Cat Noir, but we should definitely train more with it. It just seems like something important to do."
Midoriya and AllMight understood and were feeling pretty good about this hero training.
"Just so you know AllMight, Ladybug kind of already knows the basics. It's Cat Noir I haven't really trained with yet," Midoriya explained to him.
"Thank you for letting me know, Young Midoriya," AllMight said to him, "Then why don't you help out Ladybug, and I'll help out Cat Noir here?"
Ladybug and Cat Noir shared a look, and Midoriya could tell that they were okay with it.
"Sure. Why not?" Ladybug said back as she gave AllMight and Cat Noir some space, "Okay Izuku. What do you got for me this time?"
"Well, you can spread One for All around your entire body, right?" Midoriya asked her, just to go through what she already figured out.
"Yes. I can do that. I've been getting better at it," Ladybug said back with a smile.
"That's good. Now, have you been able to make it more precise?" Midoriya asked her.
Ladybug thought about it for a moment and didn't quite know what he was getting at.
"You mean like punching at a specific target?" Ladybug asked back, "I don't exactly know what you mean."
"I kind of taught this myself because when I first got this quirk, it hurt my body quite a lot," Midoriya tried to explain to her, "But I would only use my fingers to try to flick at something. If you use enough power behind it, you can do some pretty good damage from across the room. It can also be great for practicing precision with targets and with One for All."
Midoriya could tell that she was trying to wrap her mind around all of this. He really wished that he had his Miraculous right about now. Midoriya then saw a slab of cement up nearby. He quickly ran to a trashcan nearby and was able to find a couple of empty soda cans. He put them on the slab of cement and got Ladybug ready.
"Okay. So first I want you to concentrate on spreading One for All around your entire body just like always," Midoriya explained.
Ladybug stood there focusing on One for All. She could feel it right in the center of her, and then she felt it give her strength as it spread through her entire body. She noticed her black polka dots glowing pink from concentrating on One for All. Her wings fluttered in the wind even though there was no wind in the building.
"Perfect! Now I want you to get ready to flick your finger at a can," Midoriya explained as he showed her how he used to do it all the time, "Concentrate on that feeling in your finger. It might take a bit, so take your time. Being precise can be a bit tricky, but once you feel that, flick at a can over there."
Midoriya took a step back and watched Ladybug try this out. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on that feeling going into her finger. Something about it made him wonder if she could pull this off. It was different for him because he had no choice but to go in this direction. But with her, it might be harder going from her entire body to just the fingers.
For a moment, he thought he saw her finger flexing a little as she tried to concentrate on it. It even looked like there was a slight pink glow around it. Then it went away just as fast, and she let it go.
"Man, that's kind of hard," Ladybug said to him, "Was it hard for you when you first started doing this?"
"Actually I kinda had to do this. It was the only way that I could use One for All at the time since it kinda hurt my body. At some point, it just started to hurt even less when I found out about spreading One for All through my entire body," Midoriya explained.
"So in other words, you had to do the exact opposite of how I'm doing it," Ladybug said back, understanding the situation.
"Yeah. Maybe you can try again," Midoriya said to her.
Ladybug nodded and got her fingers ready again, aimed right at the empty soda cans. She tried to concentrate on that feeling in her fingers, but Midoriya could tell that she was still having a hard time with it. He could tell that she was almost getting it, but then would lose that concentration once she got it. There was something about it that she was just not understanding or something was in the way of figuring it out. Once she tried again, she almost threw her yo-yo straight at the cans displayed on the slab of cement.
"Ugh! This is annoying," Ladybug said out of frustration, "I can feel it, but something about it doesn't feel right. It's like I'm not quite understanding this whole thing with my fingers. I might as well just throw my yo-yo at it."
Then it clicked for Midoriya. Something about using her yo-yo is how she always fights, and he understood now why it was so tough for her.
"I get it!" Midoriya cried out, "You just need to imagine you're doing this as an extension! Like when you throw your yo-yo straight at a target! You're so used to just using your yo-yo that it must feel weird not using it when you're being precise!"
Ladybug's eyes widened in shock and looked down her hands. Some of their classmates noticed Ladybug and Midoriya training together and couldn't help but watch them.
"I think I get it now," Ladybug said back, "I just need to imagine it as my yo-yo. That's why it feels so weird. Being precise with my yo-yo is what I do best!"
Ladybug put her yo-yo away and got ready to flick at the cans. She closed her eyes, and Midoriya could tell that her stance looked much more confident this time around. The pink glow around her seemed to spread to her finger and mostly her finger. He noticed her finger flexing quite a bit as pink sparks came off of it. Midoriya felt something inside of him when he saw One for All activate inside of Ladybug. Something sparked inside of him when she opened her eyes.
Ladybug looked at the soda cans with determination and flicked right at them. Suddenly all of the cans went flying from a burst of wind, causing Midoriya to drop his jaw from shock. Even some other classmates were shocked to see Ladybug actually do something similar to Midoriya. Ladybug could feel her finger pulse a little bit, but it didn't break or hurt as much as she thought they would.
Midoriya felt something once he saw One for All activate like that. It felt like he just flicked at it himself, even though Ladybug clearly did that.
"Whoa..." Ladybug and Midoriya whispered to themselves, feeling One for All within each other.
Another amazing chapter!
Finally it's hero training time! This is probably one of my favorite hero training chapters! Something about it just feels so satisfying seeing Midoriya training Ladybug and how to use One for All! I think that Ladybug training in the opposite direction is so interesting to me! Midoriya has Bakugo's Miraculous, so this should interesting. I'm so happy with how this one turned out!
It seemed like Midoriya felt that within him when Ladybug used One for All!
What's going to happen next??
More to come soon!
