The next day at the cafeteria*

Weiss:" Did you hear about that famous singer recently?"

Akira:" Famous singer?"

Weiss:" Yeah, there is a singer that's getting pretty popular in Vale although I heard that she's getting pretty popular in Atlas."

Ruby:" What was her name again? Ariel Winter? Or something?"

Weiss:" Really Ruby? You dolt, I just told you it, this morning her name is Diva Cassandra."

Pyrrha:" Oh, her? My mom and aunt really like her music, they're planning on going to her concert that's in a few days."

The day had passed and nothing had happened after that.

After class, the classroom*.

Akira checked his scroll and saw three texts one was from Ruby, the other was from Weiss, and the other was from Pyrrha.

Ruby:" Can you go to the store with me to get make your emblems? Also, Yang gave me your number."

Weiss:" I'm in the mood for some training. Do you want to join me?"

Pyrrha:" I'd like to teach you about fighting techniques."

A thought bubble appears on the screen "Who should I hang out with?"

Akira responds to Weiss.

Akira:" Sure."

Akira and Weiss had gone back to the training room and Weiss was able to make some Glyphs without her Rapier a bit easier now.

Weiss:" Alright, we should now focus on making different types of Glyphs without my weapons."

Akira:" Different types?"

Weiss:" Yes, I can use multiple different types of Glyphs anti-gravity, Platform glyphs, Time dilation, and others."

Akira:" Alright, now what?"

Weiss:" I want to try and fuse barrier glyphs to stop enemy attacks."

Akira:" Alright let's do it."

Akira grabbed the dagger from his pocket and went to slash Weiss but she was able to fuse a barrier Glyph and it caused his dagger to get stuck.

Akira:" Nice. You should try to do that again. You and Ruby can try to steal your opponent's weapons."

Weiss:" That doesn't sound like a bad plan, I'm sure she'll love that idea. She is a weapons freak after all.… enough of that though I want to try blocking kicks and punches with barrier glyphs"

Akira:" I'm not that great with punches and kicks, my counselor would know that."

Weiss:" I'm going to ignore that comment, and I don't need you to be good at it just throw a hard punch at me as hard as you can."

Akira thinks back to his time in the gym and goes to punch Weiss but the glyph just shatters.

Weiss:" Let's do it again!" Akira had gone to punch her again but the screen faded to black and the sound of shattering was heard off-screen. When the screen returned Weiss was kneeling and breathing heavily.

Weiss:" I forgot how tiring making glyphs without my rapier is."

Akira:" Let's take a break then."

Weiss:" N-no I can keep going."

Weiss stands up but her legs keep shaking and Akira walks up close to her.

Akira:" You can't overstrain yourself, you'll be worse off."

Weiss:" I'm fine, I swear."

Weiss tries again but the Glyph is smaller than the others. Weiss falls to her knees, Akira picks her up and puts her on the bench.

Akira:" Why are you working so hard?"

Weiss just lets out a long sigh " Fine, I'll tell you. It's because of my father."

Akira:" Your father?"

Weiss:" Yes, he wants me to fight him……after a certain time had passed.…… and if I lose then my life is over."

Akira:" What do you mean by that?"

Weiss:" I'll be forced back to Atlas. And I'll probably never be able to leave Atlas again."

Akira:" Well, Weiss you can't overwork yourself if you do then you'll only harm your chances of winning."

Weiss:" I know Akira, thanks for this talk."

Akira's thoughts:" I feel my bond with Weiss is getting stronger."

The next day*

Everyone was walking to class and Ryuji had pulled Akira back and started whispering to him.

Ryuji:" Hey man, I did some research on that singer Weiss talked about."

Akira:" Are you a fan?"

Ryuji:" No, but I found that she's got a palace."

Akira:" She does. We should get together after school and try to find some keywords."

Ryuji:" Right, I also told Makoto to tell everyone in the group chat after school."

After School, inside Team Mafy's dorm*

Minako:" So the singer has a palace?"

Ann:" What could it be?"

Akechi:" Well I'd imagine it would have to do with singing so maybe an Oprah."

Ryuji looks down at the nav and chuckles " You're wrong detective."

Minako:" What about a radio station?"

Ryuji:" Nope. You got any ideas, Aki?"

Akira:" What about a theatre?"

Ryuji:" Oh, it's right. Next, we need to find the location the palace is based on."

Yusuke:" How about her home?"

The Metanav reacts negatively.

Ann:" What about a fashion store?"

The Metanav reacts negatively again.

Sumire:" How about a lighthouse?"

Akechi:" How about a restaurant?"

The Metanav reacts negatively twice.

Ryuji:" Music shop."

The metaverse works and they're all in the parking lot of an extravagant theatre.
