Hello and welcome, I am sorry but this is not an official update and before you worry it is not a call for pause to the story. Rather I felt that it is time to address a few comments that I have seen on here concerning my choice for using Andy over one of the other sisters. I want to start off by stating that, yes, I know how terrible the lives of the other two were in canon and that in canon Andy seems happy. I have little doubt that that is true.
With that said I do not regret my choice. For starters I wanted to bring another story that used her. I have thus far found very few stories that use Andy. The few there are tend to be very good though. I believe that there are not more because many authors are afraid to use the character for fear of flames due to how well her canon life seemed to be. In this story its not really that she couldn't have had a good life with Ted its just she found interest in Harry first. Part of my doing this is that I want to show some of the changes that his presence here brings to the world. I don't want to write a story with time travel and have pretty much everything remain the exact same as had in canon when adding in Harry. Some of the changes are small, some are a little bigger. some we may not feel the effects until later. After all, somethings change while others remain the same.
In this you have to remember that Bella is older and by the time Harry really gets into the picture with her she's pretty well gone off the deep end. Narcissa on the other hand truly does love Lucy even if she doesn't really agree with some of what he's doing. I do have a plan for him later but he will remain married to Narcissa.
As for a recent comment concerning Nym, I want it stated that, while yes a witch or wizard marrying a muggleborn will create powerful wizards. However, I don't believe it has to be JUST muggleborns. you need to remember that it seems that most magical Britain only marys in the British isles. I believe by expanding outward they would still be bringing in new blood so to speak. In this case you have Harry who was born in America with a father whose ANCESTORS came from Britain same with his mother. In this case the time away from Britain has brought in new blood to the family over the centuries.
If you read any other story I will write in the future you will more than likely see at least one of the other black sisters. You may see more of Andy as well in different settings and with different takes on her life with Ted. They married young and under stressful times, both with her family and the war, and not all works out in those settings. In most of my stories I try changing things subtly. I believe little things such as ones personality or who they spend time with can change a story as a whole in the grand scheme though it may not always appear that way at first. just like adding or subtracting one thing from the past could change the future drastically or very well change very little.
Another thing I have seen people comment on was Harry not doing much revenge or retaliation on James. The reason for that is that, in this story, he has a longer fuse so to speak on his anger. Attacks against him don't effect him as much as on those he cares about. its why his reaction to Lucy's threats were much more sever than to James attack. While he can take over the British wizarding world he will not. the reason for this is he doesn't want to. However it will server as a reminder to those that need it that they need to straiten up or get out.
Anyway, I would like to end this with my deepest thanks to all that Comment and read. I know that it can be hard with my terrible grammar and spelling. I do apologize for that. I due run these through two separate spell checks on word and using Grammarly and by beta even runs it through AI. I have never and will more than likely never be great at it. So thank you again for putting up with this flaw of mine and for plowing through it as best you can. I love writing and have since I was in Elementary school. this is a way for me to calm my overly active mind at times when life gets hard. your support has meant the world to me and I hope to get you a new chapter soon.
