(As a huge fan of coraline the movie even if the other mother scared me as a kid i decided to make a whole story based on this freaky spider girl creature with a date a live twist hope you enjoy.)
For people who don't know the other mother is a seamstress or spirit who lures young people into heading into her demention in order to feast on their souls and bravely defeated by coraline during the movie or was she...
A few years later the other mother decided to take her revenge for the humiliated defeat from coraline. She eventually found another dimension at the bottom of the well it took her to another universe where she decided to plot her revenge. Lying in wait she set her sights on shido itsuka and his friends more specifically mana takamia herself and plotted her next plan to steal her soul. (side note i know mana is technically an adult but I'll be switching her age to 13 like in most of my fanfics with her in them to relate to why the other mother targeted her specifically but back to the story)
Eventually shido, kotori and the spirits decided to take a long vacation but mana decided to stay behind and waved bye as they left, eventually being completely alone for about 3 months the other mother decided that this was her chance to strike. One day mana was cleaning the house as she suddenly realized that there was a secret passage way tucked into the wall of her house and being her stubborn self she decided to look and see where it leads. She heaved open the opening and found it led to a passage way that was dank and filled with spider webs (a clear reference to the other mothers secret form but more on that later) mana was of course grossed out by it and said " man who didn't clean this section of the house" as she crawled inside the discusting webbed opening she realized it was a long tunnel that led to a rusty door obviously having nothing else to do she proceeded cautiously and opened the door.
Once she was inside she realized it was an exact clone of the shido residence which was really odd, "hello" she yelled hoping someone would hear her to her suprise she smelled something baking in the kitchen and headed twards it to her utter shock she saw her mother that had went into a lot of business and she hadn't seen her in Years, she ran twards her butt suddenly stopped at the site of her... mother she was preparing something to eat, her redish hair and small stature were just like usual but what stopped her was her Eyes they were... buttons like those old lala loopsy dolls that you would see on tv commercials back in the day. ( seriously after i watched coraline i never looked at lala loopsy dolls the same way again) Mana replied "uhh mom why do you have... buttons for eyes do you like them " the other mother replied "i i guess" mana respond "uhh who are you exactly" mana said "i'm your other mother" she replied "we have everything here that you would ever need" the other mother replied " everything that i'd need" mana replied " yes we have everything and everyone you would need there's tohka " as she showed her the different version of tohka and she also had buttons where her eyes would be "she's way more into fighting and way less into food and agrees with you a lot more here" the other mother said "there's shido too this version actually wants to spend a lot more time with you than the other boring form" the other mother said "hmm interesting so they're them but better versions" mana questioned "yeah pretty much " the other mother said "you can hang out here and sleep here as much as you want mana takamiya " she was shocked to hear her say her full name and asked " how do you know so much about me" "ohh i know a lot about you mana i know that you're brother and friends went on a trip and i know you used to work at dem industries as well" the other mother said.
Mana was a bit suprised that she knew so much but didn't question it as her other mother spoke again "now come sit down I've made some food for you" as mana sat down and ate as much as she could her stomach was big by the end of her meal "ahh that was delicious i don't think i could eat anymore I'll burst otherwise" she said "don't worry about that now we do have a bed for you to sleep in for the night it's easier for you instead of heading all the way over to the other side again" the other mother said " hm alright that's fine with me" mana said eventually heading to her other room and soon fell asleep but found herself having a nightmare where she was inside the other mothers house at night and saw her other mother standing in the kitchen but wasn't moving and everything was silent until the other mother suddenly transformed into a hideous spider like creature turning around she roared and charged twards mana woaw as the other mother was about to strike mana woke with a start she was sweating and breathing heavily and it was storming outside and she could see lightning and hear thunder in the background "w what was that about" mana thought "what the hell was that dream could the other mother really be... a Creature?! No there's no way she's said she had everything for me and even made better versions of shido and the others it wouldn't make sense for her to... attack me right" mana thought as she thought that she relized there was no way she could get back to sleep after that dream so she decided to explore a bit more around the house hoping that her other mother wouldn't mind.
As she explored around the house she found out it was indeed an exact version of her house but she was still disturbed by her dream and decided to ask one of the other girls about her, she asked the other version of tohka about her other mother and other tohka took her aside and wispered that she needed to run and the other mother was not what she appeared to be this obviously freaked out mana but decided to play cool and see what she the other mother had planned for her so she decided to just go make some toast and take a shower luckily for her everything worked as it would in her world too she got re dressed and sat at the table in the kitchen thinking and pondering about what the other mothers game was and if she was ready going to harm mana. "it doesn't make sense why would the other tohka say something like that and the dream something is very wrong here "she thought as she fell asleep at the table until morning.
She slowly awoke to find her other mother making breakfast for her and decided to ask her about if she was going to betray her the other mother paused and wondered what she was talking about and said " hm why would you think that mana" as mana spoke " it's just something that's been bothering me is all" she said " ohh i see" the other mother replied "listen i just wanted you to have a good life here with me and if you want you can do me a favor and have buttons sewn into your eyes" the other mother said " have b buttons sewn into my eyes what are you talking about that's crazy" mana said "ohh cmon mana don't you want to stay here with me" the other mother said "urrg not if you plan on attacking me " mana yelled at her " is that tone any way you speak to your mother" the other mother said YOU AREN'T MY MOTHER" mana screamed at her completely distraught and angry "YOU DARE SPEAK TO ME THIS WAY" the other mother screamed I'LL MAKE YOU WISH YOU NEVER RAISED YOUR VOICE AT ME" the other mother screamed transforming into the spider like being just like in mana's nightmare the other mother roared and began walking twards the frightened mana she had never seen anything so... scary before as she tried backing away the other mother grabbed her with her spider like claws and said "NOW YOUR MINE FOREVER HAHAHA" Mana yelled as it began crushing her bones URRR AHHH she yelled in pain as the other mother spoke in a demonic like voice " OHH DEAR YOU AREN'T GOING TO CRY LIKE A BABY NOW ARE YOU I KNOW IT HURTS JUST ACCEPT ME AS YOUR MASTER AND YOUR PAIN WILL END " as mana's bones cracked more "URRG I I... I SURRENDER" "THATS A GOOD GIRL NOW YOUR MINE FOREVER" the other mother said as mana's eyes turned into buttons and her soul was eaten by the other mother and her spirit was locked away in the house for all eternity.
(Well that's going to do it for this one guys i decided to obviously have a few differences between this and the movie as just reenacting everything is plajorizim and obviously boring as all heck, so i made a few twists especially for you guys so hopefully you enjoyed guys but until next time good day.)
