A/N: Posting this chapter few days earlier that i planned. After this i ill be trying to post a chapter a week until i finish rewriting what i had prior. After that i cant say for sure how often i will post. I am doing a chapter a week as I am adding and changing things from the original. right now the original chapter one is now three chapters. I want this to be enjoyable for those that read.

It had been a couple hours since anyone had seen any member of Shadow Gear. The members of the guild started a search for them, as after the shouting match they were worried someone would go off and not pay attention getting hurt. Gajeel hadn't said anything and sat at the bar only responding when Mira spoke, asking why he wasn't helping look for Levy. "She is still at the guild, just not inside. After an argument like that with people she grew up with, I figured she went to go clear her thoughts."

Mira looked at Gajeel a little shocked, then gave him a knowing smile. "So you have known where Levy was at, this whole time?" Gajeel raised his brow a little suspicious of the way she asked but nodded his head to answer her question. "I see…" She gave him his drink before heading to help find Jet and Droy.

Levy finally came back in after the guild hall was basically empty. Only a few lingered, and were drunk and asleep. Gajeel was at the bar taking a short nap while he had the chance for some peace and quiet. He was half awake when he heard Levy walk by and stand by the job board. He opened one eye just to make sure and was content seeing she was fine before nodding off.

Gajeel was woken by Pantherlily slapping him awake. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" Then he looked around and saw Makarov, Mira and Erza deep in conversation. He listened in on them as they spoke.

"What do you mean it's gone?!" The master whisper yelled.

"That's just it…..I think someone took it while we were looking for Jet and Droy." Mira responded with a concerned voice.

Gajeel yawned and cleared one of his ears as he walked over. "What are you guys talking about? What was taken?"

The three looked at each other before Mira spoke. "Gajeel, did you happen to be here in the guild hall while everyone was looking?"

He looked a little confused at the white haired girl. "Yeah…Why?"

Erza spoke this time. "Did anyone take a job while we were gone?"

Gafeel thought about it for a minute, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. "I believe 3 or four people were by the board while you guys searched….." He scratched his chin."But I don't know if anyone took a job.

The three looked at each other. "This is very bad….If one of our mages took the quest they are in a lot of trouble…." Gajeel looked towards the job board trying to think when he stopped spotting a piece of paper folded up on the counter where he was a few moments ago.

"I think I see the answer…" Gajeel mumbled as he walked over to the counter with the three watching him unsure of what he meant. He picked up the paper and read it.

"Hey Mira, I saw this 200,000 jewel job for capturing some bandits causing some trouble over in Lagerion. I am gonna go out on this job. I know you guys are gonna be busy for a while but I need some time and space to myself and a job is the best way to do it. See you when I return and you can be proud I completed a job for this much on my own!

Levy M"

"Shit."

All three of the ones walked over to Gajeel as he punched the counter denting it. "Gajeel!" Mira scolded him for damaging the counter.

"Don't. Fucking. Start." He turned glaring at her his eyes almost glowing red with rage. "I got to catch her." Before anyone could ask a question he jumped over the broken counter and stomped out of the guild.

While the master and Mira watched him stomp off Erza noticed the paper that was dropped to the ground and reading it before her eyes widened in shock. "What's wrong Erza?" The master spoke before she turned the note around.

"Master, you need to get a hold of the Council…..We have to know what we are dealing with before we run off Like Gajeel." Erza spoke.

"Gajeel Ran off? That isn't something new. What happened?" Panther lily walked up before shrinking back down to his smaller size standing on the counter. The three filled Pantherlily in on what was going on and he just sighed. "I am gonna have to chase him down, cause I know he didn't take anything with him."

"Pantherlily." Makarov stopped the exceed. "Do not let them fight those bandits…They are an unknown group with unknown magic. We have no idea what she may be walking into." Pantherlily took in what he said. "I can't promise no fighting at all…I also can't promise that neither of them will be injured." He chuckled. "That knucklehead has the unfortunate ability that all our dragon slayers seem to have. Finding unnecessary trouble." The master nodded to Panthrlily as he took off flying to get supplies.

It was an hour later when Pantherlily walked up with the two bags and smacking Gajeel upside the head to wake him. "Son of a-" He stopped when he saw pantherlily. "Pantherlily? What are you doing here?"

"Supervising one of the fairy tail children." Pantherlily chuckled as Gajeel glared at him for the insult. "I am here with the supplies we will need to go stop Levy. I checked the train times before coming over here." He shrunk back down sitting on the bench with Gajeel. "The next one doesn't run for another two hours."

As the two sat there mostly silent trying to figure out how far away Levy was they overheard a hushed conversation. "T-they did it again….." A female voice stated in fear.

A male spoke in confusion."Who did what again?"

"Elite Cerberus…." The woman spoke as the two on the bench looked at each other recognizing the dark guilds name.

Gajeel went to get up but was stopped by Panther who went over to the ones taking. "Sorry to barge into your conversation, I happened to overhear the name of a dark guild. What have they done this time?"

The two were about to walk away but saw Panther's guild mark and relaxed. "They attacked one of the trains that came from this station…..I think it was the one headed to…Lagerion." The woman spoke and both Panther and Gajeel's eyes widened. "Thank you." Panther went back to Gajeel.

"They attacked Levy's train….Dammit!" Gajeel slammed his hand down denting the metal bench he was on.

"Gajeel,I know you are worried for her but we need to think and not run in blinded by anger or it could get us and her killed." Gajeel realized Panther was right and relaxed.

"I am not worried about her….I just wanted to take the job myself, i wouldn't mind more strong opponents." He looked down the tracks toward Lagerion.

Panther knew that was an obvious lie. He knows this dragon slayer has a soft spot for the small bluenette, but he wasn't about to call him out right now. Him and Gajeel needed to be as level headed as possible.

"I will fly us, grab the bags and give me a minute." Pantherlily spoke as he turned back to the pair he spoke to. "Sorry to bother you again, but could I ask you a favor?" The two looked at him nodding. "I need you to take that information to the fairy tail guild's master. If you can't get Master let a girl named Mira know. Tell them Pantherlily sent you with information. You won't have any trouble." They nodded and started to walk towards the guild.

Panther went back to Gajeel who was impatiently waiting for him. "Let's go" With that they took off towards Levy.
