"I don't think I will be able to go to Riley's birthday girl, I have been feeling really shitty lately"

"Girl you rarely eat at school or attend, and you didn't want to wear your tights in class. Do you have a UTI or something?" Jazmine Questioned, while dropping Tia home from school.

"No, I guess it's just an ailment" Tia stated, walking home. Tia often rides with Jasmine from school after dance practice and truly that's the only time Jazmine drives to school.

"Well you need to go to the doctor immediately, I could come over and hel.." Jasmine unfastened her seatbelt right before Tia cut her off.

"No!" "I mean... I'm good girl" Tia crouched over but opened the front door to her home. Jazmine looked at Tia struggling to open her door before entering the house she turned towards the car.

Okay, whatever you say!"

"Jaz, Wait!, please don't tell Caesar we talked, I don't want him to know I'm unwell" Tia shouted.

"I don't understand, but okay" Jazmine gave her a thumbs up and slowly backed out the driveway and took off.

Meanwhile Tia panted back and forth feeling unwell, until she ran to the toilet.

9 weeks ago...

Flashback to Jazmine's Sleep Over

"So Caesar what type of music do you listen to"?

"Mainly Hip-hop and Rap but R , and Reggae is cool, how about you"? He asked me.

I don't know why I lied and said same when I was clearly an alternative black girl. Don't get me wrong I love me some Hip-hop but it's something about alternative that can relate to especially how I feel in this new environment. It hasn't been easy I literally came 6 months ago and already I feel like everyone thinks they know me. I'm just the side character right?

"Why do you smoke and drink?" He looked serious.

"Is that a rhetorical question"? What the fuck, was he judging me?

"Nah, You mad pretty I was just wondering why the bad habits"?

"You know little about me Salad" I lightly pushed him and his locks tapped his lips, I was stoned so I envisioned that happening in slow motion.

After we played those drinking games and everyone was sleeping I began to feel Ill. I shouldn't have smoked or drink.

"Ugh Why do I do this to myself"

"You okay In there "?

"No, I think I'll be okay though" how embarrassing.

After I felt like Heaving, I took a shower and felt sleepy. Hiro and Jazmine's other friend was on the couch. Caesar was Lowkey sleep on the chair. I decided to go to the guest bedroom upstairs to get better sleep when I heard something fall coming towards Jazmine's room. I ignored it and laughed. I looked downstairs and noticed Caesar coming up and my heart jumped.

"Where are you going Miss"

"To sleep, why"? We're whispering at this point.

"Can I join, I ugh mean on the floor of course" I didn't even expect this from him. We are drunk so I shrugged it off.

"It's... probably a bad idea...I like" I was leaning over but almost falling over the stairs. He got me of course.

"Like what? You think we're going to be like those two in the room". He pointed at Jazmine's room. In honesty, I didn't think they did anything...I opened the door and hopped into the bed. I didn't care if Caesar followed he really was being a gentleman because he sat on the floor.

"No.. they're probably just clumsy and drunk".

"Have you ever seen Huey or Jazmine that drunk before". I was curious.

"Nah, Huey has only been faded a couple times but he manages to sober up, Jazmine never drinks at all. She wouldn't dare ruin her innocence".

"Yeah she seems like it. I used to be like her." I felt him move across the floor and near me where I can see him from below.

"Really, Then when was your first drink then and smoke"? He asked this, Must he know. His skin glowed in the dark, as tired and gone as my eyes were I couldn't keep them off him.

"Well, I'm from Cali so everyone is pretty lively". I kept it vague, mainly because it is what it is now.

"Yeah I bet you were on Hollywood and you met a rich dude that took you cruising in fast cars"

"Someone watched too many pretty woman. I'm from a city called Compton, and was pretty rough" If only he knew that when my parents split up, it was hard for my mom to maintain on her own. I forgive my dad but he really did a number. Now I live with him here in Maryland. I miss my mom.

"I've heard it was from Dr.Dre and Kendrick Lamar (this guy) but Brooklyn was tough for my folks too I mean I go back and forth over winter but kids out here got it made"

He pointed at a picture of Jasmine that looked hand painted on the wall as a child. Jazmine really was lucky she had both parents together even though her daddy is a square. Caesar and I shared more things about each other that I didn't even know and had a lot in common than I thought. I'm even more attracted.

"Caesar you can come sleep with me?"

"Nah are you serious"?

"Yeah the floor is no good, plus I'll like you near me" Tia was no longer here.

"Tia, you sure were drunk" he would ask while he pulled the covers back. All I could do is nodd after he started to pull down one layer of clothing off himself. I melted further into the bed. Caesar looked at me and touched my cheek. I smiled while inhaling the bergamot musk warming cologne off his back. My senses were elevated and the animal instinct kicked in. Shit. Tia you better fucking stop.. I flipped over and tapped him.

"Caesar I..." I stared him down for it seemed like 10 mins, but I was interrupted by a soft kiss. Panic at the disco because this man has better closed the got damn door after I'm about to do.

"Tia I like you too" I returned the answer and incapsulated my lips into his. He invited his tongue in and I can still taste the blueberry vodka on him. I bit my lip appropriately and grabbed his locks in between my fingers and manicure. His hair is so soft and surprisingly light. Caesar grabbed my waist as I rolled on top of him. I know that I'm bold for this but I feel better on top. Neck bites and body caressing; We made out like non stop until.

"Tia I hate to ask you but are you a virgin" I hesitate because I was hoping he didn't ask who was my last if i wasn't. These questions.

"No, i was 15 years old, a guy I dated but he cheated. Not really your typical sex fairy tale".

"That's okay, I don't care, I get it. Sorry that happened". He touched my cheek gently.

"It's cool... you want to" I was Lowkey losing focus.

"Only if you do, no pressure" this guy is so fine and kind. I will go for it. It's been 9 months since I've had sex with a guy that's why I even stopped my birth control. Uh oh, birth control.

"Do you have protection sir"?

"As a matter of fact... I don't"

"You know what let me ask Huey he won't need his"

"Caesar Wait!" I tried to stop him. Something told me maybe this wasn't a good idea but again it was Caesar and I really needed this right now.

Caesar came back with a condom and applied it. I reached out towards him and we kissed until he inserted himself. I gasped because whoa, but then it felt right. why would I question something that is so good to me, something that was good for me.

The next morning, I woke up feeling shitty, but that's what we signed up for drinking and smoking right? I had my pajamas on and I turned over and no one was in the bed. I had no recollection of last night, but I knew that I have kissed Caesar.

End Of Flashback.

Weeks later I had remember that I slept with Caesar, As a matter of fact when he asked me out I knew but I pretend we didn't. He actually questioned me, but I ensured him nothing happened like that and that we were not as wasted as Huey and Jazmine. He let it go and trusted my judgement. But when I noticed I felt like crap, I knew that I couldn't be. We used protection and I was sure that my hormones from the birth control and the condom would of help subside pregnancy.

I started skipping school, and now 9 weeks later I am buying a test. I have to know and I have to go to the clinic asap. That's why Caesar can't know. He probably would want to keep it, and I can't do that. I can't be like my parents, I am already alone.

End of Tia POV

"What took you so long coming over? I am only going over this math homework once" Huey retorted.

"I had to drop Tia home today from dance, plus she wasn't feeling the best" Jazmine looked away from Huey.

"She hasn't been to school really, and when she does she looks different" Huey questioned.

"I know! she doesn't eat and she doesn't like the smell of my hair. I know she's sick and her dad is away again".

"If I didn't know any better, she sounds like she's pregnant"

"PREGNANT! No Huey she can't be, and how?"

Huey gave Jazmine a look, "Are you still that innocent that you do not not know how?"

"Duh Huey, I know how children are made, I am asking how because she just started to date Caesar like 2 weeks ago" Jazmine rolled her eyes.

"Early symptoms are possible. besides could we be sure that Caesar is the father?"

"Before we jump to conclusions and going all Maury, maybe it's just an UTI and she needs to go to the clinic, you know I have gotten that before".

"I guess"

"Please Huey Don't tell Caesar, Tia will kill me and she promised me not to tell"

"Oh she is definitely pregnant then, all signs point" Huey shrugged.

"PLEASEEE.. it isn't our business to tell if she was anyways, she said that's why she isn't going to Riley's Party" Suddenly the door burst open.

"Who isn't going to my Fucking Party? My shit is going to be way too fly to miss" Riley overheard the two and entered Huey's room.

"Riley why are you in my room?"

"Yall not Fucking, so what's the big deal?" Huey began to turn red out of anger and Jazmine flustered by the comment.

"Riley Tia may not make it because she hasn't been feeling well lately, she says it might be an aliment".

"Aliment these nuts, that's ya friend anyways but tell her don't be mad at Caesar because we got mad hoes at the party". Riley took one of Jazmine's Snacks on the bed, and Jazmine snatched it away.

"Hey those are mine and that's rude. Caesar wouldn't cheat on her".

"Riley would you leave, this party is getting to your little fucking head isn't it"

"And your bitch ass is getting on my nerves nigga, you lucky you fam"

"How unfortunate"

"You wish nigga"

"Riley, I told you no more" Him snatching Jazmine snacks off the bed. Huey jumped from his side and chased riley out of the room.

"You guys!" Jazmine yelled but they didn't listen. Jazmine looked over to Huey's phone and he got a message.

Caesar: Hey Huey I Need Your Advice (Surprising I do) It's about Tia.

Jazmine gasped at the message. She started to panic.

"What if he is thinking of breaking up with her because she has avoided him for a while, or what if he knows she might be pregnant or worst, he got someone else pregnant"

Jazmine stated earlier that it wasn't her business, but she couldn't help but to look at the message again.

"Alright I am ready to get back to work because that was a waste of my time" Huey returned to his room and Jazmine straighten up.

"Yeah about that, maybe we should visit Tia"

"What, Why" Huey noticed his phone flash near Jazmine's leg.

"Caesar probably knows...she's going to get dumped. OMG"

Huey read the text and replied and put his phone down.

"Calm down, I asked him what about her. It's not that deep".

Huey and Jazmine heard another chime from his phone and it glowed.

Caesar: I could be wrong but think Tia is Pregnant.
