Alola, Melemele Island, Ash and Misty's House
"So, what's on the agenda today?" Misty asked, her voice filled with curiosity as she descended the stairs with a sleepy yawn.
"It's a thrilling joint lesson with Kukui, and we're diving into the world of fishing," Ash shared, his excitement palpable, as he flipped a pancake in the frying pan. The anticipation for the unique lesson was palpable in the air.
"That's great! I wonder if they are bringing their own fishing rods or if the school is providing them." Misty asked, her interest evident as she took her seat.
"The latter," Brock said as he walked in.
"Right, and I'm making sure that I have Lapras with me so that she can have a good swim," Ash said as they brought over plates of pancakes.
He then gave Misty a cheeky smile as he pulled out a fishing lure she had given him, "And I know that I'm using this," Ash said as her cheeks turned red.
"What do you want us to do," Mewtwo asked as he looked at Ash from the sofa.
"You can stay here if you want and relax," Ash said before he gained a look. "And if you could, could you help Ralts test her psychic abilities?" He asked the Genetic Pokémon.
"I can. Would you like me to teach her anything?" Mewtwo asked as he looked down at the green-haired Pokémon.
"I'll leave that up to you, as I trust you," Ash told him. He looked shocked but nodded.
One Hour Later, On The Way To The Pokémon School
The Kanto trio walked down the road as they passed Lana and Popplio. "It looks like she's training Popplio how to make a strong bubble," Brock said as they walked down the road. "And Ash, are you going to ask Mallow on a date?" he asked the chosen one.
"I don't know yet, as I want to meet my Land, Sky, and Space before I do anything that I can explain to them," Ash told him, and Brock nodded.
"That makes sences," He said as they continued walking down the road.
After a few more minutes, they walked into the school and met with Kukui as they readied for their lesson, "So have we got everything," Ash asked the man.
"It took a while but yes, we a Lapras for each of the studnets and my self, not couting Lana, as she has her own," The professor said as Ash nodded.
"And I have my own that Brock, Misty, and I will use," the teen said as they walked to the classroom.
"Alola, everyone," Kukui called out as they entered the room.
"Alola," The students called back to them.
"Now, then today's lesson like I told you yesterday is going to be a mixture of both our lessons, and with me you will learn about marine Pokémon," Kukui said to them as they nodded.
"And with us, we will be teaching you the best way to fight a Pokémon out at sea, and even without a Pokémon with a type advantage," Misty said as they nodded.
But Sophocles raised his hand, and Ash nodded at him. " But isn't type advantage a good thing?" he asked them, but Ash shook his head.
"No, it is only half the battle," Ash told the younger teen as he looked confused. We'll let you know more in tomorrow's lesson, but today, we will focus on the Pokémon that live in the sea," he told them. The students nodded at him as they all got up and started to walk out of the school, but then some called out to Ash.
"Hey, boy, I have read about you, and I will challenge you to a battle tomorrow," another teacher said as Ash looked over to the man. The students, intrigued by the sudden challenge, looked at Ash anxiously.
"Rules," Ash asked him.
"Three on three, no substitutions," The man said as he looked at Ash.
"That's fine by me," Ash said as Pikachu smiled at the challenge.
"Good. I'll see you tomorrow at five o'clock here in the yard," he said before he walked off. The students looked shocked before looking at Ash.
"Ash, I don't think that was a good idea," Kiawe said as Ash looked at him.
"Why is that," He asked the boy as they continued walking.
"He's the strongest Pokémon trainer in Alola next to the Kakuna's of the islands," Mallow said as Ash looked at her.
"There is something that each of you knows about Pokémon Battlers, they like to challenge strong opponents, and when they see one, they will challenge it to see where they are on the level; if they beat them, that means they are stronger," Brock said as the students looked at him, "If they lose, then they train more until they next meet for when they battle once more, and this that is how they are, always testing themself," He told them as they nodded.
"And around the world, the job of Gym Leaders are the ones to test the trainers that want to be battlers to have them realise the strength they need," Misty told them as they turned to her.
"I see," Lana said as she turned to Kukui, "Why don't we have something like that," She asked him as the professor turned to her.
"Alola is split between two minds; one side wants to bring the Pokémon League to Alola, while the other side does not want them in Alola, and from there, Mr Goodshow is trying to find a balance between them," Kukui told her as they neared the water.
Some Lapras were waiting for them, along with a Wailmer, "Now, I want you all to get on to a Laoras, and then Lana will leave us to a good spot where you can catch some marine Pokémon," Kukui said as Ash sent out his Lapras.
And when the ride, Lapras looked at her; their bodies tightened and looked ready.
"What is with them," Sophocles asked as he saw the looks on the ride Lapras.
"Lapras, went off for a while and while she was with her family she was the leader of a pod so, she had to be strong enugh to lead as well as defent the pod," Ash said as he stocked the neck of his Transport Pokémon.
And so they all got onto one of the Pokémon, with Lillie wearing a full-body suit with a glass helmet and her Zorua sitting on the head of the Lapras.
Ash smiled at his Lapras. "How about we let Lana lead us, girl?" he asked, placing a hand on her neck. She turned to him and rubbed her head on Ash's chest.
She then turned around and called the Lapras that Lana was on, moving her head as if to point.
And said Lapars looked shocked but did as instructed and led them across the water.
As everyone moved across the water, Misty took in the sea around her, "This takes me back," She said as Ash looked at her.
"A simpler time," He said as she nodded back at him, but they both smiled.
"Why do I both feel jealous and at the same time do not," Mallow and Lillie thought as they looked at Ash and Misty.
After a few more seconds, Lana stopped. "Here we are, the best spot where you can go fishing; you can catch both shallow-water and deep-water Pokémon," she told them as Misyu looked into the water and saw a lot of marine Pokémon. You can even catch Kyogre," she told them with a small smile.
"Lana, don't call out Legendary Pokémon unless you want their attention," Ash said as the students turned to him in shock. "They are forces of nature, and when people invoke their names, they do not like it and will rage," he told them as Lana looked shocked at him.
"How," She asked him.
"The three of us have dealt with people who have been trying to use them for their own ends," Brock said as he looked at Ash. And when you are in our lesson, please do not invoke their names unless necessary?" He said with a gentle smile.
Lana nodded at him as she stood up and held out her rod. "Now then, everyone rods at the ready," she called out, rearing her arm as everyone did the same before they sent out their lure.
For the rest of the day, they fished with Misty, showing the class what a battle on the water was like as she battled and caught a Sharpedo.
The Next Day, Outside the Pokémon School
The entire Pokémon School student body stood outside as they watched Ash and the teacher who had challenged Ash the day before standing on either side of a battle arena, with Brock acting as the referee.
"As stated by the rules agreed to yesterday, this battle will be a three-on-three with no substitutions, is that clear," He asked both trainers as Ash nodded with the other teacher nodding as well.
"Then, trainers sent out your first Pokémon," Brock told them as Ash and the teacher called out their first Pokémon.
The teacher called out a Ninetail that looked different from what Ash had seen.
And so he scanned it with his Dex, "Dex Entry 38, Ninetales, Alolan Form, the Fox Pokémon. Possessing a calm demeanour, this Pokémon was revered as a deity incarnate before it was identified as a regional variant of Ninetales." The Dex told him as Ash nodded.
"Right," Ash said as he sent out his Charizard, who let out a loud roar that shook the ground before locking eyes with the Alolan Ninetales.
"Are you both ready?" Brock asked Ash, and the teacher nodded. "Then begin!" He called out.
"Ninetales use Zen Headbutt," The teacher called out as the Ninetales head glowed light pink before running at Charizard.
"When they get in range, use Dragon Tail to knock them away before using Fire Spin," Ash called out as his Flame Pokémon waited until the Fox Pokémon was within rage. His tail started to glow a teal green before he spun around and hit them with his tail, knocking the Ninetales back.
Charizard then swung his tail, sending a trail of yellow-orange fire from the tail flame at the Ninetales. When the flames met the Fox Pokémon, they formed a circle around them, trapping them in a fire ring.
"He's good; he made a plan to trap my Ninetales in that Fire Spin so that she can be burnt by the flames," The teacher thought before he smiled, "Use Ice Beam on the flames," He called out as his Pokémon did as told as she used her ice beam on the flames around her putting them out.
But the steam released from the flames met the Ice Beam and started hiding Ash's Charizard from view.
And when the steam cleared.
Charizard was nowhere to be seen.
"Did you-" The teacher started before he saw Ash smile.
"Now, Charizard, go in Sesismic Toss, and then let's try that combo like we did on Clair," Ash said as Charizard zoomed down and picked up Ninetales and flew into the sky he then called out something that confused a lot of people, "Now use Flaming Seismic Toss," He said as Charizard started to spin in the air and release flames from his mouth as it washed over both him and his captive as they then began to nose dive into the ground before Charizard let go of Ninetales.
On the impact, it threw up a large cloud of smoke, and when it cleared, it showed that all they knocked out was Ninetales.
"Ninetales is knocked out, so the first match goes to Ash and Charizard," Brock called out as he held up a hand. Charizard lay down for a rest as the teacher recalled his Ninetales.
"Trainers call out your second Pokémon," Brock said as Ash sent out his Sceptile while the teacher called out a Rampardos.
"I'll start off with Leaf Blade, and while you doing it gather sun light," Ash ordered as his opponent narrowed his eyes.
The four leaves on Sceptile's wrists glow light green and form into two, and he starts to run at the Rampardos.
"Use Dig to get away from them," the teacher called out as Rampardos jumped forward and started digging underground.
"Keep gathering sunlight and be ready," Ash told his Forest Pokémon.
"Sep," He told his trainer with a nod.
And so he waited in the open as instructed and gathered sunlight.
"Now use Bulldoze," the teacher called out as cracks from beneath Sceptile burst out of the ground. With tremendous force, Rampardos burst out of the ground and rammed into Sceptile, sending him skidding back. "How do you like that combo?" he asked Ash, who smiled.
"Not bad, using the force of your Rampardos coming out of the ground, and that adds to the force that Bulldoze gives them boost there strength behind the attack," Ash said as Sceptile had taken a lot of damage from that one attack, "But I make sure that all my Pokémon can take a hit," He said as the Forest Pokémon picked up the twip that it dropped and put it back in his mouth.
"Amazing," Kiawe said as he watched. I've seen Rampardos take out a rampaging Kommo-o, but-" he said before the words died, as the match was terrific.
"As Ash said, he makes sure that all his Pokémon can take at least one hit like that and come out with there head still held high," Misty said as Lana turned to her.
"All his Pokémon are like that," She asked as she pointed to the sleeping Charizard.
"No, Charizard, is one of Ash's powerhouse Pokémon and only trainers that he thinks can handle him will go up agest him," Misty said as Lana's eyes shot wide, "And that Charizard has a repritation with his strngth how he had beaten an Articuno in the Battle Frontire," She said as Lana's eyes shot wide.
At the same time, Kiawe's excitement at the Fire and Flying Type exploded as he looked down at Charizard.
"It seems that Sceptile is ready," Mallow said as she saw the bulbs on his back give off a slight yellow glow.
"Sceptile, let's try that new move out," Ash said as both of them smiled as he zoomed in on the Head Butt Pokémon.
"Rampar-" The teacher was about to call out as Sceptile appeared below Rampardos. The leaves on Sceptile's right arm started to give off a yellow glow.
"Use Solar Blade," Ash called out as Sceptile cut at Rampardos, knocking back the Rock Type and knocking it out in one stroke.
The teacher sighed as he called back his Rampardos: "Ninetales is knocked out, so the first match goes to Ash and Sceptile. The winner of this battle is Ash Ketchum," Brock called out as both trainers walked up to each other.
"That was a good battle," Ash said as he held his hand.
"It was, and I'm glad that I lost to you, as I could feel the strength of your Pokémon," he said as he shook Ash's hand. And my name is Lagron. I teach about the other Regions," he told the teen.
"Cool, how many have you been too," He asked Lagron.
"Almost all of them, you," He asked Ash.
"Same," Ash said before looking at his Dex. "And I think it's time to return to regular lessons, don't you think?" he asked Lagoon.
"Indeed," He said as they led the students back into the school.
"That was amazing, Ash, how did you train your Charizard like that," Kiawe asked as he looked at the sleeping titan.
"Charizard trained in the Charicific Valley where there are a load of Charizard and they train constantly, and it's where my Charizard is the Alpha there and with him learning everything that he can from there he returned to me," Ash told him as he returned Charizard to his ball and they walked into the school.
Then, they entered the classroom. Ash, Misty, and Brock stood in front of the projector. "Now, as you all saw yesterday, where Misty was battling with the Sharpido, can anyone tell me some of the important things that you must do?" Ash said as Lana raised her hand.
Three Hours Later, Hau'oli City
Ash and Misty walked around Hau'oli City as they took in the cities around them.
They saw a quadrupedal, feline Pokémon covered primarily in black fur as they walked. It has a short muzzle with a tiny black nose, red eyes with yellow sclerae, and short, pointed ears with pale grey insides. There are two red stripes around each of its legs and two horizontal stripes with a vertical stripe on its forehead. The lower part of its face is also red, with a large tuft of fur on each cheek. A tuft of fur sits at the end of its long tail. When it arches its back, three-pointed tufts of fur with red tips appear along its spine.
Ash held up his Dex, scanning it, "Dex Entry 725, Litten, the Fire Cat Pokémon. While grooming itself, it builds up fur inside its stomach. It sets the fur alight and spews fiery attacks, which change based on how it coughs." The Ultidex said as Ash narrowed his eyes before Misty looked at him.
"You want to go after them, don't you?" she asked him with a smile, and Ash smiled back.
But before they could pursue it, Ash's Dex made a sound, and when he brought it up, the hourglass changed to Gary's picture.
"Hey Ash, I'm here in Alola as grampa forgot to give you something, so he asked me to give it to you," Gary said as Ash nodded.
"Where are you," Ash asked him.
"I'm in the Alola Airport, and then when you get here and get the pacage that grampa gave me, I'm heading to Galar," Gary told him as the two of them started and began to make their way over there.
After a few minutes, they found him holding an incubator with a white egg and light blue flowers over it.
"So the page was an egg," Ash asked as Gary nodded.
"Yep, and if what grampa said was right, it's a regional form, like how the Golem here is a Rock and Electric Type instead of Rock and Ground," Gary said as Ash nodded as he took the egg.
"Enjoy your flight," Ash said as the brown-haired teen nodded and returned inside.
"I'll take the egg back to the house; you go find that Littern," Misty told Ash as she took the incubator off her boyfriend and walked back to her and Ash's home.
And so Ash started to look around before he spotted the Pokémon he was looking for and began to follow them.
And when he reached an old house where Litten walked in, he saw an old Stoutland.
"Stout st Soutlan," the Big-Hearted Pokémon called out as it sniffed Ash out as the teen walked in. Litten turned to him and started to hiss.
Ash knelt down and looked at Stoutland, "Your trainer left you did'nt they," Ash asked them as Stoutland nodded, "I've seen that alot, but plase do not think that we are all like that, and I want to help you get better," He told the dog Pokémon as he held out his hand.
But he just left it in the air, as Stoutland looked at Ash in the air before letting out a soft bark. "I'll catch you and take you to the Pokémon to make sure that you are alright if that's okay. If not, I can have one of my Pokémon carry you," Ash said to them as Stoutland nodded at him.
"Sout," The Big-Hearted Pokémon said to Ash, who pulled out a Pokéball and caught Stoutland.
Ash looked down at Litten, "Shall we go," Ash asked them as they nodded up at Ash, and the two walked out.
But they found that they were met with a larger cat Pokémon.
"Dex Entry 53, Persian, Alolan Form, the Classy Cat Pokémon. The round face of Alolan Persian is considered to be a symbol of prosperity in the Alola region, so these Pokémon are very well cared for." The Dex told Ash.
"Pers per," They said to Litten, who narrowed their eyes.
"Are they the ones that been keeping Stoutland from healing properly," Ash asked the cat.
"Lit," They said with a nod.
Ash turned his eyes back to the Persian, and his eyes turned red. "Then how about I show them why it was a bad idea to come back?" he said as he called out to Charizard and Infernape.
Both the Fire Types were listening to the conversation and started to release heat as they looked at Persian with narrowed eyes.
And the Dark Type started to back up, feeling fear. "Pers persian per," it said as it backed up.
"You started this fight," Ash said as both Fire Types felt Ash's anger, "Now then, I can tell you do not have a tainer, so I'll catch you and make sure that I give you to someone to sort out your attatue," He said as the Persian looked at Ash and it saw a towering figure over him.
It saw Arceus looking down at them with the same hate Ash threw at them.
The Persian started to make its body small as it looked at Ash, so the teen tossed a Pokéball, caught the Persian, and released the stress on his body.
"I reay hate doing that," Ash said as he calmed down.
All three Fire Types looked at him but said nothing but returned to their balls, and Ash made his way to the Pokémon centre.
Three Hours Later, Melemele Pokémon centre
Ash, Pikachu, and Litten waited in the waiting room while Nurse Joy and Brock worked on Stoutland.
The cat Pokémon was cursed on Ash's lap while waiting for them to return with Stoutland.
After waiting a few more minutes, Brock walked out with a smile. "Stoutland was old and had an illness that affected it, but luckily, we managed to cure the illness, and thanks to you releasing some of your Aura, it gave Stoutland a few more years. I don't know how long you give him," Brock said. Ash nodded, and he held out the ball that held Stoutland.
"Thanks Brock, and here, I hope you can fix there attatue," Ash said as he gave Brock the Alolan Persian.
"Right," He said as he looked at the Pokéball in his hand, "So, what did they do," Brock asked.
"They are the ones that drove Stoutland into that state," Ash told him as Brock furrowed his brow at the ball.
"I do it," he said. Nurse Joy then called him away, so Ash walked out.
As he walked out, he found Mallow walking to her family cafe. "I mean, it's the best option to see how she reacts to finding out," Ash thought as he walked over. Mallow, is it alright if I can have a word?" he asked her as she turned to him.
"Sure Ash," She told him as they walked to the cafe.
One Hour Later
Mallow sat there quietly and looked at Ash in shock, "Are you sure you're telling the truth," She asked him.
"I am, and if you want proof," Ash said as he pointed at something behind her. As she turned to see a large thunderstorm above them.
"What the," She asked as she looked around before she spotted something within the thunderstorm.
It was a black, bipedal Pokémon resembling a dragon or dinosaur, with dark patches on various portions of its body that had red sclerae, white irises, and black pupils, as well as a small horn-like protrusion on the tip of its snout. Its head sports a thundercloud-like crest tipped with light-blue colouration. Six pairs of pointed teeth are visible when its mouth is open, two in the upper jaw and four in the lower. A black, stud-like feature is at the base of its neck, and atop its shoulders are similar, larger features resembling armour padding. The bases of its wings also have such padding and a fanned, splayed, seemingly webbed shape with a small "wing-spike" on one edge. The lower lengths of its arms extenuate into splayed, seemingly webbed, somewhat baseball-mitt-like formations, with three-clawed, dark-coloured hands on the undersides. The front portion of its waist is black-coloured, with its belly and thighs having thin striations down their length. Its knees are black, as are the foremost parts of its three-clawed feet and spiked heels.
"What is that," Mallow asked as the Pokémon started to get closer.
"That is Zekrom, and he is here to give me a gift for saving the world over and over," Ash said as Mallow looked at him before backing up at Zekrom.
But she could not say anything as shock overtook her.
"Chosen one, we meet once more," Zekrom said as he looked down at Ash, but the teen said nothing. "I see, then I shall give my gift and be off," he told Ash, and then Zekrom looked down at Pikachu.
The Mouse Pokémon looked back up at the Dragon and Electric Type, "I took your power once and only returned a small bit of it, and I know I did wrong so I shall return the rest of it to you," Zekrom said as he held out his claw as Pikachu got ready.
And Zekrom released a small stream of electricity from the claw that flowed into Pikachu.
And then Zekrom stopped. He turned back to Ash. "I have done as asked, and I am sorry for what I did, Chosen one, so now I leave you and your Forest," the dragon said as he flew off, the storm following him.
Ash looked at Mallow, who looked shocked. "So it's true, you're the world's chosen one," she said as Ash nodded.
"Yes, and the next king of the Aura Kingdom," Ash told her.
"And where do I fall into this," Mallow asked him.
Ash sighed as he looked into the sky, "Each king of the Aura Kingdom has five wives to help the king govern the Land, the one who will keep the king grounded, the Forest, the one that helps all life, the Sea, the one to keep the king moving forward, the Sky, the one that helps bring freedom, and the Space, the one to show wonder," Ash told her as Mallow took in the information.
"And I for some reason, have been born to be your Forest," Mallow asked him as Ash nodded.
"Yes," He said as he turned to where his house was, "Misty is my Sea, and I do not know who my other three wives are going to be, but I think that I have met my Sky and Space, but I do not know it," Ash said as he stroked Litten who was on his lap.
Mallow said nothing before looking into the sky and turning her eyes to Ash, "I'll agree to go out on a date with you this Saturday," she told him. Ash looked shocked before smiling.
"I'll like that," He said as he gently got up and the two parted ways.
Hey, Blaze here.
I wanted to ask if anyone has an idea of what a gift to Ash would be from a Legendary or Mythical, and if they have an idea, please put it in a review so I can both use it and give a shout-out to the person who did so.
Many thanks.
After this, you all will get a chapter of Omni Hero: Deku X, and then I shall be doing five chapters of Bleach Power of a Hybrid, along with two other stories.
And in the meantime.
Keep blazing forward, my Genin.
