Chapter 5
They were both in their last month when they were invited to Malfoy Manor for dinner with the Malfoys and Tom.
Harry sighed. "Are you guys okay?"
Rodolphus replied, "I'm fine, stop worrying, geez."
Rabastan shook his head. "Will you please stop worrying so much? It's actually driving me crazy, Harry."
Harry frowned. "I can't help it."
They all arrived at Malfoy Manor, with Rabastan huffing and pushing Harry away. "Leave us alone, we are fine." He stomped his foot before realizing the others were watching.
He waved, then glared at Harry. "Go mingle. We are going to sit now," he pointed.
Harry ducked his head and talked with Tom and Lucius.
"Well," Tom asked, "do I want to know why?"
Harry replied, "They are acting weird. I'm just nervous, I guess. I've seen Rodolphus in pain. It's the same looks all night—they couldn't get comfortable."
Tom frowned. "We'll all watch them for you."
"Thanks," Harry said, walking to his seat.
Lucius said, "Let's eat, shall we?"
Rodolphus picked at his food, not wanting to eat, which caught Tom's eyes.
Rabastan just made faces, feeling small pains here and there, stunting his hunger.
Lucius asked, "So, Rodolphus, how has the pregnancy been so far? Are you excited to have your baby in your arms?"
He smiled. "Yep," watching Harry hold Hope. Watching her eat, being blind is not stopping her.
Rabastan said, "Did Harry tell you Hope is learning sign and a way to communicate at different times?"
"That's awesome," Lucius praised. "I'm sure you two are proud."
