Chapter 6
They moved to the sitting room. Rodolphus decided to sit on the floor in front of Harry, feeling more comfortable there. Rabastan sat beside him, curled onto his side. Feeling the pains become stronger, wrapping around his middle, he blinked, grabbing Harry's hand as the pain intensity rose. He was shaking.
Harry looked at him. "Rabastan, what's wrong?" he asked, catching everyone's attention.
"Pain," Rabastan said, then his water broke. "Shit," he huffed, clutching Harry's hand. "My water broke. This shit hurts, like really bad."
Rodolphus looked at him. "Rab, what are you feeling right now?"
"Um, pain, lots of it," Rabastan replied.
Tom stood and called the healers.
When the healer arrived, she was surprised to see him this calm. She scanned him. "You definitely are in labor. I suggest going home, or you won't be able to later after the pains become worse."
Narcissa said, "No need, they're safe here. We have a room they can use to give birth."
Rabastan smiled. "Thanks," before groaning. "This hurts," he huffed. Holding onto Harry, he felt better with his comfort.
Rodolphus frowned, not feeling anything of his own, just watching his brother, remembering Hope's birth.
The healer took her leave until later when she was needed.
Harry talked Rabastan through the pain.
Rodolphus noticed something was wrong when he looked down and saw he was bleeding. He reached for the person he could, which was Tom. Tom looked at him, seeing the blood, and freaked. "Harry, call the healer. Rodolphus, what are you feeling right now?"
"Nothing, which is confusing," Rodolphus replied.
Harry freaked as he held Rodolphus's hand. "Love, it's gonna be okay."
The healer popped in and scanned him, gasping. "I'm sorry," she looked saddened. "The baby didn't make it. That's why you don't feel anything."
Rodolphus looked shocked before breaking down.
Lucius took Rabastan. Harry hugged Rodolphus. "I'm so sorry," he mumbled, crying himself.
Rabastan looked sad, but the pain didn't want to stop, so he huffed and groaned in pain, catching the attention of everyone. He stated, "I need to push, like now."
The healer took her spot, checking him. "Push," she instructed. Harry took his hand. "Breathe, love," Lucius held Rodolphus as he watched with saddened eyes.
Rabastan screamed, "Fuck!" He pushed as hard as he could.
The healer lifted up a baby girl. She smiled. "Congratulations." She handed a clean baby to him.
Turning to Rodolphus, she looked sad. She scanned him. "I'm sorry, you can either birth it or I can remove it."
"Remove it, please," Rodolphus shook.
She did, with a saddened look. "I'm so sorry."
Harry made plans to bury the baby, so the healer took her leave. Rodolphus got up, going home. He popped to Lestrange Manor and broke down, crying, screaming, and throwing stuff around, not realizing he activated the security wards Harry tapped into. Everyone popped in to see the mess and fire started in his baby's room, Rodolphus sitting on the floor, crying.
Harry rushed to him, putting the fire out, holding him.
Rabastan went to his brother, hugging him, handing their baby to him. "You name her," he mumbled. "Sunny."
Harry cried, as that was what he was going to call his baby boy.
Tom cleaned up the major mess, leaving the grieving family.
The end.
