"Dang it!"

Harper slammed her fists against one of the control panels. She was in a time machine she had made very recently, and after the first test, it all went awry. It was another disastrous summer afternoon in Canton, and the Rough Collie rusher herself had finished such a big project, yet what she didn't know is that she hadn't gone through some tests yet, and all thing went awry.

"I swear, that thing worked just a minute ago!"

Outside the HOK, Rampage; known rusher and secondary mascot of the Los Angeles Rams - formerly St. Louis, arrives at the scene with a confused yet worried expression. Instead of the tan horns he used to have, it was changed to more of a yellowish-golden color to represent the team's color's, and his uniform had changed - yet his fur color still remains to this day.

"Is there somethin' wrong?" Harper would jolt out of her seat as she noticed the certain Rams rusher standing right in front of her, the machine's door wide open. "You look pretty mad over there."

"M-Mad? Why should I?" Harper chuckled nervously as Rampage arrived inside. "Rampage, it's pretty much none of your business right now, I'm kind of in the middle of-"

"It's some of your business." Rampage snorted as he sat down. He would notice that one of the buttons was stuck. Normally one of the console's buttons would stay together as normal, but this time it was stuck and not as upwards as it used to. The ram would place a hooved-finger on top of the button, but nothing worked. "Maybe you haven't set it up properly."

"I did! I've done this multiple times, yet it never worked like it was supposed to!" Harper snarled as she slammed her paw against the control panel multiple times.

"Hitting's only going to make it worse, Harper!" Rampage would grab ahold of the collie amidst the meltdown. "You haven't fixed the buttons properly!"

Amidst the argument, Freefall and Spot made their way out of the HOK only to freeze dead in their tracks to find what looked like a time machine Harper had built. Spot - known rusher of the Jacksonville Jaguars, was the first to notice Harper struggling to escape Rampage's wrath.

"RAMPAGE! LET GO OF HER!" Freefall, not knowing Spot was running up to her, followed the jaguar's tracks. At first he though Rampage was trying to capture her, which in reality he was trying to prevent her from hitting where it was once broken.

"Spot! He wasn't trying to capture her!" Freefall shouted as he stormed inside the machine to find Rampage, frozen out of shock - still carrying the collie in both arms.

"I was trying to stop her from hitting stuff." Rampage snorted as he placed Harper back on her seat. "She was hitting only to make the machine more broken again!"

As Spot arrived inside the machine, he opened his mouth to finally understand why Rampage was preventing her from doing so, but before he and Freefall could get a word out, a large pinkish cloud lingered across the room, causing every rusher in the smaller space to flinch and duck themselves before it could affect everybody else. A few electrical sparks started to grow wider and wider as the smoke started becoming more thicker, before it could disappear seconds later.

Freefall slowly got up and groaned as he rubbed his head, but what he didn't realize is that he was...still his normal self. Weird, if Freefall still was in his normal self, then did the others?-

Spot took his eyes against the mirror to realize his white marking on his chin had disappeared, his spots had gone back to the usual jet-black his old look used to have, and the teal spot on his tail suffered the same fate as his spots did. His ears have also evaporated as well. Rampage's look however went back to where the St. Louis Rams used to play. Harper's look however remained the same as Freefall's.

"M-My tuft.. It's gone!" Spot cried as he ran across the room, only for Freefall to halt him and calm the cat down.

"Spot, it's not a big deal. We all have old looks before, do we?"

Before Spot could get a word out, a large beam of light shined across the room, causing every rusher in the small space to cover for impact. The large beam disappeared shortly after, but what makes it worse is that Freefall - as he gazed his eyes upon the mirror, noticed he had gone back to his old self - that same self where Ish had attempted to save every core from the older and most evil of them all, Sudden Death.

"Gah! We look like we're from the early 2010's!" Freefall shrieked, but what he hadn't noticed yet is that Spot's look remained the same, but this time he didn't have a snaggletooth on both ends, and he has white gloves on. Harper's however remained the same, yet Rampage's look suffered the worst. He has white markings on both hooved hands, and...he's got no pants on.

"Put some pants on, for the love of Pete!" Freefall cringed as he looked away, yet Rampage didn't care less.

"What!? Some rusherz don't wear pants!"

Before Freefall could argue back, another beam of light exploded for a split second, before the scene returned back to normal. Every single rusher had very different looks - all except for Harper. Freefall's self on the other hand...remained the same as his old look did, but this one in particular is that his helmet had a design compared to the older Seahawks logo in the past.

"Aaaand now we look like we're from recent years."

Another beam of light exploded for a split second, and this is when the worst happened. Every single rusher had received something that looked like they were from the 1930's. Everybody else had given their rubber-hose style from the old days, and this is where Freefall draws the line.

"And now we look like we're from the old days.."

As the light beam explodes for a split second, Freefall gasps as he gets up in an instant, only to find out he was back to normal once again.

"Hey! We're back to normal agai-" But before he could finish his sentence, the Seahawks rusher noticed that the way he moves his arm is a bit off. That is when the worst happens. He and the team all had been given the motion tween effect. "MOTION TWEENS!"

"Agh! I'm all practical and cost-effective!" Spot growled as he moved his arm around, still disgusted by the motion tween effect.

As the very next beam exploded for a split second, the smoke fades out and reveals every single team rusher had been given the flipnote effect. This style on the other hand is like they're animated from the 2010's, but on a low budget.

"This has to stop!" Freefall growled, still not noticing his voice had transitioned into more of a grainy effect. "Before-"

Another beam of light exploded before revealing Freefall - but what he hasn't noticed yet is that he was in a blocky-like background. Turns out he was already in the Minecraft style, and so did everyone else in the small space.

"Any-"

Another light beam exploded for a split second before it reveals the team in an Anime-like art style.

"Permanent-"

The next light exploded, before it fades out to reveal the same team as before - but this one in nothing but the realistic style. What makes things odd is that instead of an actual human being, Freefall was transitioned into an actual osprey.

"Damage," Freefall would say the word loud and clear before another beam of light exploded for a split second, now revealing himself in what looked like his toy counterpart. Every single rusher remaining had all been turned into their restaurant meal counterparts, but Harper on the other hand is a collie - an LPS collie!

"Has done!" What he hasn't noticed yet is that there was an actual human being already holding his entire arm. "Wait- This one doesn't look too bad at all!"

"But we're toys! How are we supposed to move?!" Harper asked, her head turning back and forth like an actual LPS does in some short films. Before Freefall could explain why, another beam of light exploded right in front of them, before fading back into the team. What makes it worse is that the team was in the actual AFL Mascot Manor art style, causing Spot to flinch and open his mouth to speak, yet the Seahawks rusher prevented him from doing so.

"Don't...say a word.."

"There has to be something to get this over with!" Rampage would grab a screwdriver out of the cabinet before he proceeded to pull one of the bolts out, causing one of the doors to open - revealing a bunch of wires. Instead of them being in the right place, one of them was placed in the wrong plug. "Maybe Harper might've put these wires in a wrong place, that's why."

It only took less than a few minutes for Rampage to keep the wires in proper order, and as he took a step back, that is when a miracle happened. Another beam of light exploded across the machine for another split second before fading as it all reveals the team back to normal again.

Freefall would gaze his eyes upon his limbs, now back to their normal self again.

"We're back to normal now!" Freefall would cheer as he proceeded to hug Spot, only for the jaguar to wince as he felt something snap around his skeleton. It's not a severe snap thankfully, but it was enough for the jaguar to freeze out of pain as he dropped Spot onto the ground.

Harper would lead everyone else in the team out of the machine before closing the door shut. "I'm never touching that thing ever again."

Rampage would then open his mouth to talk. "So, Harper. Do you know what that machine is for?"

Those words battered the collie's skull, and that is when Harper draws the line. Never in her life would she ever touch such confusing machinery ever again - even as a machinery student for years.
