Chapter 1

My name is Taricon Barahn. I'm a Redguard, and I'm the Dragonborn. This is my last task. As death loomed in every corner and tension peaked, I faced my ultimate adversary. This was the final confrontation, and I made my goal known with my blazing conviction, "I'll slay you, even if it means draining every last drop of blood from my body." The colossal dragon, a world eater, stood before me, his Thu'um, his shout, shattering the spirits of those in Sovngarde. Well, those who lacked the strength to resist. The air was thick with the stench of fear and the sound of crumbling souls, but I stood firm, my resolve unshaken.

The heroes, a diverse group of warriors, each with their unique abilities, were not ones to be easily swayed. They revealed their plan: "On the count of three, we shall unleash our shouts in unison, dispersing the fog that impedes our path." With a rise in anticipation, I, a skilled warrior with a pair of trusty daggers called Sun Bloom and Crystal Weaver, released my loudest shout along with the others. " Lok Vah Koor!" With our shouts in unison, the fog dissipated, and the various lost souls I met along the way started to show up to aid us in battle. With the mist fully uncovered, Alduin had the choice to face us head-on or run like a coward. Luckily, dragons are very prideful beings. I rushed forward, dodging between the occurring meteor shower, and jumped at Alduins wings. Upon my blades connecting with his wing, Alduin's wing was ripped apart. With that action taken, I shouted. "I got his wing. Hit him with everything we have." A series of hits proceed to rain down upon Alduin.

"Zu'u unslaad! Zu'u nis oblaan!"The dragon was resisting with everything he had. Still, with his final yell, we knew we had succeeded in stopping Alduin from destroying the world, for now, at least. Upon his defeat, we gathered back at the halls of Sovngarde. Gormlaith, Hakon, and Felldir.

Gormlaith spoke, "Well, met Dragonborn. We are ever grateful for your aid in helping us defeat Alduin. Your name will be cemented in the halls of Sovngarde." Stretching out my hand, I shook it while giving a firm nod. " It wasn't any problem to me. It's better than me sitting on my ass waiting for the world to end." The following words he voiced shook me to my very core. "We will not be able to send you back to Skyrim." The color started to fade from my sight, and everything became blurry. The man only continued to speak. "We can't send you back because you are no longer tethered to that plane of existence." he finished saying.

"So, I won't be able to see my family again. How is that fair?" Reaching up to my face, tears cast down my cheeks. A hand landed on my shoulder, blatantly trying to calm me down despite the man's harsh glare along with the tone he started to speak in, "There is no need for tears. This isn't a permanent goodbye. Once your life ends, you will return here, to Sovngared." Once Gormlaith finished, Falldir stepped towards me, a crystal in hand.

The tears running down my face stopped. "What are you going to do with that?" I came to terms with the fact that this wasn't the end. I would get to see them again in the afterlife. The old hero answered, "I will not do anything with it. You will break the crystal and repeat after me. Revak Rovaan Wundun. Following the instructions, a portal opened underneath me, casting me off to a new world.

"Ahhh, what the hell. I can't believe this. When they said I'd be sent to a random world, they never mentioned I'd be falling from this high up gah-"

Upon landing on my face, I saw plenty of people staring at me, or were they staring under me? From what I gathered, I was on a platform.

"Get off me. Do you want to die along with this straw-hatted boy?" The way he spoke reminded me of someone. That caused me to stare before speaking.

Eventually, I got up to dust myself off. "Sorry about that. You reminded me of this jester I once encountered—a real weirdo, that one. So what's going on here?" I question, looking at the two in front of me. The straw-hatted boy just grabbed me and did the unthinkable. "Wahh, what is happening? What sort of sorcery is this?" The speed at which we were moving nearly made me pass out.

"You should be unable to move this quickly while lugging me like a child. Wh-"

"Thanks for the help. Cool armor guy, my name is Monkey D Luffy. You should join my crew." From the look in the kid's eyes, he was dead set on making me his crew. That's a new one that I know will grow old quickly.

"That's all nice and dandy, but if you wouldn't mind setting me down." The suggestion worked if the lack of pattering of the floor was anything to go by.

I glanced up at the boy. Sarcasm laced the tip of my tongue. " If you wouldn't mind answering my other questions, that would be pretty delightful.

He probably didn't discern the sarcasm he received, but he deserved it from how I see things. It's far from proper to drag a man of my status around on the road like some game that had just been hunted. Resisting the urge to voice my thoughts violently, I waited for the kid's reply.

"Shishishi, What did you ask again? I wasn't paying attention." Yup, this kid definitely deserved a good talking to. First, we would need to take care of the guy chasing us, like how the courier chased me all across Tamriel. The defense is that he is clearly approaching us with a weapon.

-Dovah Piece-

Okay, it's not ideal for some stranger to charge you with a weapon. Do you want to know what's even less ideal? I was trying to hit this guy with a hard punch, only for that hit to pass straight through his face.

"Why? How?"

"It's no use. I'm a smoke man; any weapon you use against me will have no effect.

Great, a smoke man. Are you serious? I already need Tamriel for not even ten minutes in this place. The sarcasm was noticed by said man. The man who had me pinned to the grounds was wearing some strange clothes, and even his weapon of choice was interesting. "Interesting. Are you a bandit or something? If so, I won't hold back." While he had me in a firm grasp, I had something I could use to get out of this situation.

"Fiem Zii Gron!"

"Shit? What the?" The man started to fall through me. Then he fell flat on his face, much to my mirth. "While I can't hit you, you definitely will never be able to harm me. So long as I'm like this."

"A Devil friut user, hmpf. I've got the perfect way to deal with folks like you." As he swung his weapon through my body, it just passed through. The sheer terror on his after his weapon passed by just exacerbated my smile even more, which in turn made him start to hesitate. It was the perfect chance to strike.

Knowing I couldn't stop him physically, I continuously called out my Thu'um. " Gaan Lah Haas!" The shout is working as it should. The effects were very prominent as the smoke man started to slow down, clearly exhausted. Giving him no time. I continued, "Fus Ro!" The weakened shout pushed him fifteen feet away, causing him to skid along the road and for his grasp on the weapon he was holding to loosen. "Zun Haal Viik!" The smoke man's weapon flew out of his hand. Before he could say anything, I rushed forward and attempted to punch him again. I was glad to see it worked. I continued to punch him with a right hook and a left jab, and he was laid out cold. Panting heavily, I collapsed to my knees, blood leaking out of my mouth, and then my consciousness faded.

All I could feel was pain. My throat felt like it was in flames, and my head felt like it was split in two. Not to mention my body. It felt like boulders were placed on me. "Hey, Hey, wake up." The voice rang into my ears, making me shift out of my current position, which didn't feel good.

"Go away. Just leave me be."

"Wake up! You need to meet your new crew mates." The voice just kept getting louder and louder. I didn't know who kept yelling, but I'd get my revenge.

Luffy, leave him alone. He's obviously not in the right state for you to be yelling in his face.

I dreaded opening my eyes but opened them with curiosity about this new person. "W-What when?" The memories of what happened flashed through my head, causing a new wave of pain. "Gah, Shit, my bag! I need the red potion in it. Closing my eyes to relieve the pain, I listened to their voices fade. I felt a bottle come in contact with my hand, so I promptly snatched it.

"Ahh, much better, I should really train my voice more. I'm nowhere close to the Gray Beard mastery."

When I opened my eyes, The opportunity to look at the voices that had helped me appeared. "It's you again. I shouldn't be surprised. Ah, and I see a new face. Who might you be?"

Glancing forward, I saw a woman. She had orange hair and brown eyes and wore a white striped shirt with a very scandalous skirt. If I had to voice my opinion.

"Did your parents not teach either of you a modicum of proper decency. This is utterly unacceptable."

As I completed my sentence, the world around me shifted, and I found myself in a place entirely foreign to me, far from the lands of Tamriel. The customs and behaviors of this new world were markedly different, and I couldn't help but find them intriguing. Upon rising to my feet, I ascended to the deck, where I was met with an unexpected sight. A man stood before me, dressed in a white shirt and dark pants, with a cloth tied to his arm of the same color. What truly caught my attention was his green hair—such an uncommon sight in my experience. My gaze lingered, unable to look away from this mesmerizing sight. The man even sported earrings, a feature more commonly associated with Khajiits than humans. Moving on, I noticed another individual with a notably long nose. His prominent feature immediately drew my attention. I couldn't help but think he might need to seek medical attention for it. Lastly, I observed a person exuding a sense of refinement, dressed in a modest black suit with an undershirt. Each of these individuals would unquestionably stand out in my homeland. With an air of curiosity and the belief that it was an opportune moment to make their acquaintance, I decided to engage with these intriguing strangers.

"It's rude to stare. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Taricon Barahn, the Dovahkiin, the bane of all dragons."

-Dovah Piece-

Reflecting on my introduction, I should not have mentioned I was the bane of dragons, as their behavior is ridiculous. Seriously, why did everyone fall over? It wasn't even that crazy of an assertion.

The first person to speak up was the woman with orange hair."Y-You mean celestial dragons?"

"No, not Celestial, whatever you said, just good ol fire and ice-breathing dragons. Now stop Lolly Gagging. Let's get back to the introductions. I eventually got each of their names: Luffy, Zoro, Ussop, Sanji, and Nami. "it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

After the initial greetings, things felt somewhat normal, although still peculiar. It was a step closer to normalcy. "What in the name of Akatosh is that!? I understand currents fairly, but as far as I know, they don't go up mountains!" Nami began explaining the currents, using words I didn't fully comprehend. "We have to align the ship to the current; otherwise, we will crash into the side of the red line," Nami said, redirecting her gaze to Zoro and Sanji. You two reign in the sails, Ussop turn the rutter and you," she said, pointing towards me. " Make yourself useful. Pondering over ways I could do just that, I thought of something as the rain cast all over us. It didn't take an extra moment for me to use my shout.

"Lok Vah Koor!" The weather impeding us vanished within seconds, and the waves calmed down. Soon enough, the ship was back on track.

"Yo Kahn, can I call you Kahn? I am going to call you Kahn. How did you do that?" Luffy asked

"I can honestly care less what you call me. If that's easier for you to remember me by, then go for it. As for how I can do that, hmm," I paused, trying to think of the most straightforward way to put it so Luffy could understand, " I have dragon blood running through my veins. It lets me speak the way that dragons do." Waiting for a reply, I stared at his confused and contorted face. Suddenly, he registered it. "So it's a mystery thingy." 'Way to dumb things down.' I thought. Should I correct his mistake? Nah, I'll just clap my hands and smile. It seemed to appease him. Nami, on the other hand, took more interest in my words and asked, "Can it be learned by those without dragon blood?"

"While it is certainly possible for people without the dragon blood to learn the Thu'um, It would take a lifetime to properly yield it. Not to mention, the backlash it has on ordinary people is very tremendous. You saw what it did to me, and I carry the dragon's will. If a regular person like you attempted that, your throat and all your inner organs would explode out of your face." She started to back away in horror. "Okay, I think I'm good at not learning whatever that is." an hour after jumping away from Sanji's assault, we finally arrived at the reverse mountain.

"Our alignment is perfect. We should not have any trouble entering the Grand Line." Things weren't so perfect for us after that. "Bwahhhhhhh"

"What in the Nine Divines was that blearing noise?"

"Nami spoke up, seemingly enjoying the ride. "It's probably just the sound of the currents crashing down." Part of me wanted to refute that, but I don't know this world or the noises a reverse waterfall can make. When we reached the mountain peak, anticipation of the drop took over. "Get ready, guys. This is going to be fun." Of course, Luffy would be having fun.

Screaming, screaming, and nothing but screaming was all that could be heard over the rushing water. Well, that and "Bwahhhhhhh"—whatever that noise was—it definitely wasn't the water. "Uhh, guys, is it me, or is there another mountain in front of us?" Ussop didn't sound too hopeful that a mountain wasn't in front of us. "Here, let me get a closer look." Upon closer inspection, that was a ginormous sea creature. " Okay, I can only take so many surprises in a day. Any more, and I'm going to start questioning my sanity. What divine, in their right mind, created this damn thing. It's bigger than a giant." Our ship was still rushing forward, inching closer and closer. " I didn't want to have to do this, but Gol Hah Dov!" the shout hit spot on, and the whale looked towards me. "Dive under the water." the whale listened, and just in the nick of time, we managed to avoid ramming into it and destroying our ship. "I don't like using that shout. It leaves an ache in my heart."

"Wow, that's pretty cool. Is there anything you've found you can't do?" Luffy asked, an eager glint in his eye. I couldn't help but laugh at the question. If only he knew. In an ideal world, I could reunite with my family, but that's a thought I kept to myself. "There are indeed limitations to what I can do," I replied, "although my potential is vast." I pondered my ongoing struggle with mastering all the different shouts, some of which still cause me discomfort when I use them.

Ussop nearly fumbled down the Crowsnest, trying to reach us. "Hey guys, there is a boat 90 degrees to port." As we glanced at the boat, we noticed two individuals on board. One was a man with peculiar numerical markings on his face. The other was a young woman with striking blue hair, wearing a mesmerizing top. The young duo hopped aboard. I almost wanted to kick them overboard. First, we hear them out.

"Hello there, baby," the man announced. "Would you mind giving us a ride back to our home? We were supposed to hunt that whale, but it sank into the ocean. Oh, where are our manners? You may call me Mr.9, baby." the newly dubbed Mr. 9 finished. " And you may address me as Miss Wednesday. Yeah, I already disliked these people, especially this Mr.9 guy. I mean, why is he talking like that? I needed to solidify my disdain for Mr.9, so I let out a potent whisper that seemed to echo while remaining completely silent. "Lass Yah Nir!" The atmosphere crackled with energy as the woman's aura radiated a calming shade of blue, contrasting sharply with the man's flickering red aura. I made a mental note to stay vigilant in case Luffy chose to take them home.
