Inkaliber: Hello everyone! I know it's been a bit since I last updated this story, but life has been a bit chaotic lately. I'm hoping to graduate this December so my focus has been narrowed down on college work.
Meowth: Yeah! So don't be given Da Chief any lip about long wait times!
Inkaliber: Meowth, no one's been giving me problems about update time. Just relax.
Meowth: Sorry. I can't help but defend ya, Chief!
Inkaliber: And I'm grateful for that. Anyway, we have one more thing to cover before we start the chapter. Like always, we will now answer some reviews from the previous chapter!
(Side note, I will be skipping reviews that only bring up the error from the previous chapter. I fixed it so don't worry. Thanks for reviewing regardless!)
Speedykitten1643- Well where would be the surprise factor if I told you what he's practicing? That is an interesting theory though. There will definitely be more villain beatdowns.
Fregreg- I'm glad that you like it! That's an interesting idea for Babs's party outfit. It would be funny to see the man run away crying as this Parisian kid keeps criticizing his outfit.
P96822- It's good to have you back! I figured the alert system would be a good idea. I wish you good luck with writing that sequel to your story man.
The_Keeper_of_Worlds- He did indeed worry them. Those are some good ideas for villain codes. I'll have to think about them.
darknessslayer- That would indeed be an interesting matchup. Raven would totally wipe the floor with the Box Ghost in almost every circumstance. I say almost every because Boxy was dangerous when he had Pandora's Box.
glennish1966- You'll just have to see which villains pop up where. I'm glad that you love it! It would indeed be a good idea to give Titans Dark a better way to travel.
XxXNightcoreQueenXxX- I'll do my best to make sure the outfit lives up to the hype!
Fuyu_FoxWriter- That is an interesting theory. We'll just have to see if it comes true or not. He does indeed have the motivation though.
deathfang1920- Thanks again!
Dragon_God148- The error has been fixed so don't worry about it. It will be a while before that information is revealed, but I hope it'll be worth it regardless. I guess you'll have to read and find out which villain will stir up trouble next.
LunarCouncillor- Lol! Very funny. I can see what you mean, but I figured a call out would be funny regardless.
With all of that said, let's begin. I don't own Miraculous, Danny Phantom, Marvel, DC, or any other series that show up here. I do own any original characters, concepts, creatures, and places that work their way into the story unless stated otherwise.

Smallville, Kansas
Ellie had a confident smirk on her face as she stood in the middle of the Kent Farmhouse living room. She was wearing a black t-shirt, gray pajama bottoms with little ghosts depicted on them, and white slippers. Across from her stood Kara, the Kryptonian mimicking her stance and expression. Martha stood in the nearby kitchen, a small smile on her face in spite of the atmosphere the duo were giving off. Kara leaned forward as her smirk grew into a grin.
"You really think you can take me on, Little Miss Ghostie?" questioned the blonde. "Kryptonians don't run out of stamina that easily." Ellie leaned forward as well, her hair falling forward a bit.
"I was aged rapidly to be ready for anything," fired back the ghost girl. "Ghosts never need to rest, so you'll see just how good I can be!" A small spark seemed to fly between the duo. Suddenly, Ellie hit Kara with a pillow. The Kryptonian's grin grew as she fluffed up her own pillow.
"Oh it's on now!" The two girls then engaged in a full on pillow fight, doing their best not to destroy their makeshift weapons. Martha couldn't help but laugh from her place in the kitchen as she watched the duo act like sisters. Kara eventually abandoned her pillow as she carefully captured Ellie's head in her arm. She then noogied the ghost girl, causing her to cry out indignantly.
"No fair! We said pillows only! This is cheating!" The ghost girl couldn't help but giggle in spite of this apparent rule breaking. The duo were about to continue when a sonic boom caught their attention.
Ellie's eyes widened when she heard barking and another deep sound quickly followed. "No way. Is that…?" Kara let the ghost girl go as she walked over to the door. She rushed outside, causing a canine to bark in excitement.
"Hey there guys! Who's some good little super animals!?" Ellie's eyes twinkled like stars as she flew upwards a bit. "Hey Ellie! Come out and say hi!"
The ghost girl didn't need any more prompting as she landed on the ground and ran for the door. She grinned as she saw a white dog flying happily around Kara while a manatee floated in place. Ellie quickly recognized them as Krypto and Bob, remembering them from Jon's pictures. A squeal began to form in the Fenton girl's throat, causing both super animals to look her way. Krypto began to growl, only for the ghost girl to change forms and tackle him.
"You are so cute! Who's the bestest doggie in the whole wide world!? You are!" This pampering and her scent seemed to win the super dog over as he began to pant excitedly. The canine licked the girl all over her face.
Ellie's hair flowed freely in the wind, revealing that her hair remained in the same shape even when in ghost form. She was suddenly bumped into from behind, causing her to look back and see Bob rubbing against her. "I'm finally getting to meet both Bob and Krypto! This is amazing!" She lovingly petted both animals as Kara flew up to see them.
"I agree that they're very adorable. Still, Bob usually isn't allowed outside the Fortress of Solitude." Another sonic boom cut off any further conversation between the duo, Superman quickly flying into view.
"That's because he got out and I thought I could trust Krypto to bring him back on his own," revealed the Man of Steel. He smiled as he nodded towards Ellie. "Hey there Kiddo." He was suddenly tackled into a hug by the ghost girl. She grinned up at him in a way that reminded him of Lois.
"Hey Clark!" greeted the ghost girl. "Can Bob stay for a little longer? Please! It's my first time seeing a manatee, and it's a super one!" Her puppy eyes caused Clark to chuckle as he rubbed her head.
"Sorry, but he tends to cause trouble when he's unsupervised. He's also late for his own supper. Maybe another time." Ellie let go of the man as she turned away, crossing her arms as she made a pouty face. "Alright Bob, back to the Fortress."
Clark immediately grabbed Bob gently before looking towards Krypto. "Krypto, come." The dog barked before quickly floating at his side. All three super beings took off into the sky, leaving the group behind. Kara was about to comfort Ellie, only for the ghost girl to wave her limbs frantically in the air.
"This is so unfair!" Ellie quickly flew into the house, reaching her room. She began to type in a phone number, bringing a device to her ear as she tapped her foot.
Metropolis
Jon hummed a tune to himself as he worked on some homework. He was just finishing up when he got a sudden feeling. It was like the universe was about to force him into something. This premonition came true as he heard his phone ringing from the Kitchen where he left it. This was followed by a few footsteps.
"Oh Jon!" called Lois. "It's Ellie! I'll answer for you!" Jon immediately finished the work with his super speed before flying out of his room. He grabbed his phone before his mother could pick it up, carefully floating down to where he was laying stomach first on the couch.
"Hey-o Ellie!" cheered the boy. He pulled the phone away from his ear a bit as he looked away from it. "Hey-o?" This caused his mother to laugh as if he had done something funny. He quickly focused on the call again as he heard a huff.
"Jon, it's not fair!" cried Ellie. "I finally got to meet Bob and Krypto, but Clark took them back to the Fortress of Sorry Tube or whatever it's called!" He frowned a bit as he turned to lay on his back.
"Sorry Ellie, but Dad is usually strict when it comes to Bob. Last time he was left alone he destroyed an entire building chasing down a truck with plants in it." This earned him a soft whine, the sound of turning telling him that Ellie was probably lying down in her bed.
"I know, but it's still not fair! You guys get really cool super pets but I have nothing. Is it wrong for a girl to want a lifelong, potentially furry, companion to care for and love on!?" This outburst caused Jon to smirk as he tried his best not to chuckle. He smirked teasingly as if he was seeing Ellie face to face, rubbing the back of his head.
"Well, while talking with Raven about a similar subject, she did tell me how to find a place where spirit animals tend to flock to. We could always try and find a place like that but if you're too bummed out…" He suddenly heard the sound of supply packing on the other side.
"Jon, I could kiss you right now. We'll meet up at the patrol point and go from there. Don't keep me waiting because now I'm excited!" The ghost girl immediately hung up, Jon blushing from what she said. He looked towards his mother with pleading eyes, only for her to gesture towards the back door.
"Go on," accepted the woman. "Get out of here. If you two actually kiss I want pictures." She earned a chuckle from her son, the boy quickly suiting up before flying out back. He zoomed off into the night with a huge grin on his face.
It didn't take long for the duo to meet up, flying off together to the nearby forest. Jon held a small paper in hand, holding it out in front of him. This was a rune Raven showed him that was meant to find a section of the woods haunted by a Forest Guardian. The guardian draws other spectral entities to it, creating an ethereal ecosystem perfect for finding what Ellie wanted. Speaking of, his girlfriend groaned as she flew upside down beside him.
"How much further!?" cried Ellie. "Please tell me we don't have to check the entire forest!" Jon shook his head in denial as he sent her a smirk.
"It shouldn't take too long, as long as this forest actually has one," reassured the half-Kryptonian. "Once we do find one, the rune should glow green like ectoplasm. At least, that's what Raven told me." This earned him a whine of annoyance from Ellie. He soon noticed a glow begin to form from the paper, prompting him to slow down.
He smirked as he saw glowing green bees fly in front of him. "I think we're here!" This caused Ellie to grin as she flew down into the foliage. He soon joined her, watching as the number of miniscule ghosts that flew around increased. Both kids couldn't help but gasp in amazement as the forest seemed to come to life.
The whole area glowed with the light of its inhabitants, even some trees appearing to be spectral in origin. It was like death had breathed a new existence into this part of the woods. Ellie sighed as she saw some fish swim through the river.
"I can't believe it. This is so beautiful." Jon looked towards the girl, smiling as he saw how the lighting accented her features.
"Yes you are." The boy quickly realized his slip up, trying to find a way to fix it. His worries were unfounded, however, as his girlfriend sent him a smile.
"Thanks, but let's stay on track. Is there anything specific about this whole thing that I need to know?" Jon quickly shook his head in order to get his head back into the game. He pulled up his phone in order to look over the notes he took. He hummed a few times before crying out in success.
"Here it is! Your best bet is to find a Spirit Guardian to watch over you. Essentially if you befriend such a ghost and they decide your life is worth preserving, they will bond to you for however long you exist. Think of it like the bond between a Pokemon Trainer and their starter Pokemon."
Ellie nodded her head, immediately getting the comparison. "If you can't find one, you can still grab a spirit to tame them. Raven recommends trying for a Spirit Guardian, but even she admits that such a bond is rare to find this quickly. So, should we start searching?" He watched Ellie grin as she bounced on her toes a bit.
"I'm ready alright! Let's go!" The girl quickly ran ahead, her boyfriend following behind. They performed a general sweep of the area, trying to find a ghostly creature for the clone girl. It soon became apparent that they'd have to look a little harder in order to find what they were looking for.
They stopped for a snack break in order to strategize their search. Ellie poked different spots on a little map she drew of the areas they've been to. "So we'll search these areas right here and here. If we don't find anything, we'll look deeper into the woods." This plan had Jon wincing as he shook his head.
"I don't think going deeper is a good idea. We're technically on the edge of the Forest Guardian's territory. The deeper we go, the more aggressive it might become. Most guardians don't take kindly to trespassers." Ellie sent him a reassuring smile as she placed a hand on his lap.
"Well then we'll save it as a last resort. I may not know if I'll start melting again soon, but I'm not that desperate to immediately charge into a deadly situation over finding a pet. I'd just… like something to keep me from feeling lonely when Kara's not around or you're too busy. Being around you guys has helped me realize I hate the thought of always being alone." Jon smiled sadly as he placed a hand on his girlfriend's own hand.
The duo looked like they were about to lean towards each other, only for the sound of scampering to catch their attention. A little brown river otter walked into view, stopping before the duo as it made what appeared to be a begging motion. Ellie couldn't help but squeal childishly in excitement as she scooted closer. "I've never seen an otter be so friendly before! He's so cute!" Jon hummed as he rubbed his chin.
"Maybe he's hungry. Do we have anything like fish?" Ellie immediately returned to normal, revealing that she was still in her pajamas as she had a backpack on. She quickly opened a compartment before pulling out a bag of bait fish. Jon couldn't help but sound his disgust as the girl opened the object.
"I figured that we'd find a ghost animal like a cat or something, so I thought fish would be a good option." She carefully held a fish out for the otter to grab, the furry beast immediately taking it from her and chowing down on it. She was about to reach into the bag for another, only for the otter to immediately begin rubbing against her hand affectionately. Ellie was shocked beyond belief as she began to slowly pet the animal. "You're more friendly than I thought."
The animal whined happily as it ran circles around her. Ellie couldn't help but giggle as it jumped at her leg a few times. "You little scamp! I'll get you another fish, okay?" Jon chuckled as he shook his head at the scene.
"If it were a ghost otter then I'd definitely say he'd work as your super pet. The only problem is that it's illegal to own a North American River Otter." This had Ellie sigh sadly as she shook her head.
"Aw man! Guess I should have expected that. Sorry Scamp, but we have to go." She gave the fish to the little creature, walking away with Jon to try and find what she was looking for. The only problem was that they couldn't find anything that would fit her.
There were several rabbits, birds, and other typical forest creatures that were ghostly in appearance. They were either extremely skittish or very hostile. Jon figured the second variant out the hard way as a rabbit ghost kept trying to bite his butt. Ellie's mood began to sour further and further as they found no signs of friendly ghosts.
She eventually sighed as she crossed her arms. "I'm starting to think maybe the world doesn't want me to have a super pet. Is life just always against me because I'm a clone? If it is, could someone tell her I didn't ask to be made?" She felt a soothing rub on her shoulder, prompting her to look towards Jon.
"Don't be like that. Even if we can't find one today, I won't stop until we find the right one for you. My unique and wonderful Ellie Bear can have whatever she wants, even if I have to punch life herself in the face." He punched at the air with his free hand, causing his girlfriend to laugh at his playfulness. She gently grabbed his face as she turned it towards her.
"So, I'm yours? Did you bring me here, alone in the middle of the woods, just to stake your claim?" She smirked deviously as her boyfriend's face became as red as a tomato.
"N-no! I'm just trying to be more bold. I figured giving you a pet name would be a good start." The boy looked down in embarrassment, only for his girlfriend to lift his head up again. Her smile changed from one of deviousness to one of longing.
"Well… so long as we're staking our claim, my Awkward Duckling…" Jon's eyes widened as Ellie pulled him into a full kiss, ghostly insects flying all around them in a brilliant display. He couldn't help but melt into the experience as he closed his eyes, moving his hands to her waist as she wrapped his neck in a gentle hug. He did his best not to let his hands wander too far, wanting to take things slow. The moment was suddenly ruined at the sound of a camera snap.
Both young lovers forced their eyes open as they broke apart. They looked towards the origin of the noise. Their eyes widened even further as they saw that Scamp was standing upright with a phone in his paws. "Scamp!?" Jon was the most surprised, however, as he recognized the object in the creature's paws.
"My phone!" The half-Kryptonian quickly took the device from the otter, sighing in relief as he saw no damage. "It must have fallen out of my bag! If I lost this, Damian would kill me." The boy looked to his images to see what the otter accidentally took, only to blush madly once again.
It was one thing to feel his first kiss, but it was another to see it firsthand. It even looked as magical as it felt to him. He heard Ellie whistle behind him, causing him to look back and see her floating to look over his shoulder.
"I guess Scamp makes a great photographer. Send that to me because it's gonna be my new wallpaper. It'll have one heck of a story to go with it." Jon blushed even more as he nodded his head. He decided to fulfill the request later as Scamp whined happily and ran circles around the duo.
Ellie chuckled as she lowered down in order to pet the little guy. "Thank you little buddy. I guess you're wanting a fish as a reward." She was about to reach for her bag, only for Scamp to suddenly jump higher than either kid would expect. Ellie was forced to have her arms in a scoop shape as the otter landed in her grasp.
Scamp then began to rub against her while whining once more. Ellie couldn't help but hug the little guy as her face was still shocked. She turned towards Jon with the biggest sad eyes. "Jon, please. He's too cute and loving!" The boy smirked as he shook his head.
"He can come with us. If we can't find a ghost animal for you, I'll see if Damian could work something out." This caused Ellie to grin before she gave him a quick peck on the lips.
"You know, I think I'm already getting used to doing that." The ghost girl walked away with a slight saunter in her step, causing Jon to have the goofiest grin ever on his face. He quickly ran to catch up with his girlfriend.
Amity Park, Illinois
Danny was in the middle of a personal project, reading over some words on his screen. He had to get this right, not wanting to mess up a single detail. He cleared his throat in preparation for this task, only to pause as he felt the hairs on the back of his head stand up. He couldn't explain it, but he felt an urge to find Danielle right then and there. Jazz walked by his open door, quickly noticing his annoyed expression as she halted her movement.
"What's wrong, Little Bro?" questioned the redhead. "Last time you frowned like that I was being strung along by Johnny." The boy looked towards his sister, a frown still on his face.
"Jazz, have you ever had that feeling that you needed to intimidate someone spontaneously?" questioned the ghost boy. "Like someone just did something you wouldn't allow until you approved them for it?" All Jazz did in response was blink a few times before resuming her walk.
Unknown Forest, Metropolis
Jon and Ellie continued to walk through the forest, Scamp running around them and playfully bumping into them. The duo couldn't help but agree that the little otter was way too playful and friendly towards humans to be normal. He looked like he was alive, but his mannerisms were like that of a domesticated animal. He thankfully was very helpful in pointing out ghost animals around them, but the results were the same. As such, the adventuring trio walked deeper into the forest.
This time Ellie couldn't help but blush as Jon has an arm protectively securing her to his side. She had to admit that she liked him when he was being bold like this. It was like having a guardian angel, which was kind of ironic given that she's a ghost girl. The lovebirds continued on their path with Scamp in tow, unaware that a large creature had spotted them from the brush. The growl it emanated proved that it was not friendly in the slightest.
Jon immediately picked up on this noise, looking around frantically. He held Ellie closer to him, causing the girl to look at his face. He didn't give her time to ask questions as he continued to glance around.
"I heard a deep growl," informed Jon. "It sounded close. We're being watched." This news had Ellie frown as she immediately went ghost. Scamp hissed as he looked around, his teeth bared as if he understood the tension surrounding this situation.
The otter immediately jumped onto Ellie's shoulders as Jon flew up with her. This allowed them to avoid a slash from a massive claw. The duo looked down, shocked to see a massive red bear with two sets of green eyes and a ghostly blue smoke coming from its back. It roared as it floated into the air, its eyes set on the duo. Ellie gulped, actually feeling fearful.
"Um… I think that's the Forest guardian," stated the ghost girl. The heroic duo immediately split up in order to avoid a breath of fire from the beast. It then turned its attention towards Ellie, growling as if she were a threat. The girl placed Scamp on the ground before flying around as the bear chased after her. She fired ghost rays back at the creature, though this only served to make it angrier.
The guardian, surprisingly fast for its size, quickly caught up with the girl. She was forced to avoid more slashes and fire from the beast before punching it in the nose. The bear slowed down a bit in order to rub the offended area, only to growl as its eyes glowed. "Now I wish we brought Damian and Haley with us. All I'm doing is making it mad!"
The bear suddenly caught fire upon its smoking areas as it roared in fury. It was about to attack again, only for Jon to crash into it. The boy roared out in anger as he punched the animal, sending it flying through a tree. The bear quickly came back with a vengeance as it prepared to bite the boy. Knowing that the attack would be akin to magic, the half-Kryptonian dodged out of the way of the attack.
Both super kids then began to gang up on the bear, taking moments to get a hit in before moving out of the way. Ellie took a moment to blast one of its eyes, causing it to roar in excruciating pain. The girl felt good about the hit, only for the bear to send a roar her way that took the form of a wave attack. She was caught in the midst of it, trying to shield herself with her arms. She felt a terrifying familiar feeling as she suddenly fell towards the ground, causing Jon's eyes to widen as she landed with a thud.
"ELLIE!" The boy grabbed the bear by its leg, spinning it around before throwing it off into the distance. He then flew down to his girlfriend, noticing that she was slow to rise. "Ellie, are you alright!? Did he hurt you that…"
His words died in his throat as a sick feeling hit his gut. Ellie looked down at her hands, her expression displaying her terror as they began to melt into green goo. Her legs began to follow as the girl began to hyperventilate.
"Jon… it made me unstable! I'm melting away again!" Her boyfriend quickly grabbed at her gut, only for his arms to go straight through her torso. The boy felt dread take hold of him as his arms were coated in the green substance. He let out a cry of terror as he hugged the girl's head in his arms.
"No! I won't let you! I'll freeze you if I have to and take you straight to Raven! I'm not losing you!" The sound of a familiar growl rose as if to challenge that declaration. The ghost bear returned, stomping towards the lovebirds.
Ellie felt her life begin to drain, wishing that they never came to this place. Jon's eyes glowed in fury as the beast drew closer. "DON'T TOUCH HER!" The bear roared as if challenging his order, charging up the same attack that caused the ghost girl to begin melting. It was about to unleash the wave again, only for a silver ornate ball to suddenly lodge itself in the beast's mouth.
The bear shook its head as it tried to remove the foreign object, but the sphere remained in place. Both Jon and Ellie looked on in shock as Scamp stood between them and the bear. The otter's hissing became deeper and more threatening, scaring the duo a little bit.
"Scamp?" The atmosphere around them suddenly shifted as the otter grew in size. Its appearance changed to match that of the giant river otter, its fur changing colors from brown to an oily black. Its eyes changed to a similar shade of green as the bear as it continued to grow in size. Scamp now stood at the size of an ox and at the length of a bus, its whiskers growing out as several more silver orbs began to form around its neck. Jon's eyes widened as he remembered something Raven said.
"Those balls… Scamp's a spirit guardian!" The now dragon-like otter suddenly roared as it floated midair. The ghost bear finally removed the bead from its mouth, roaring in return. The two animals clashed in combat as they began to claw and bite at each other. Scamp bit down onto the back of the bear's head before throwing it into the air.
He then flew upwards and crashed into the bear as he tried to bite its head off. The enemy beast scratched at his jaw, forcing him to let go as he hissed in pain. He and the bear squared up again as he floated to where his body was curled in a ready position. Both animals unleashed blasts of energy, Scamp's attack being an actual torrent of glowing liquid. The bear couldn't hope to match the strength of its opponent as the liquid attack suddenly hit its body.
The bear whined in pain as the liquid burned holes in its body. Scamp roared once again, as if challenging the forest guardian to attack again. The wrathful spirit chose the wise option as it retreated into the woods, jerking around as if it were limping. Whining threateningly in success, the giant otter lowered towards the distressed duo. Ellie was now a head with some shoulders attached as her body continued to puddle.
"I'm sorry, Jon. I should have just been happy with meeting Krypto and Bob. Now I messed everything up. Who knew my first kiss would be my last." This caused her boyfriend to begin crying as his tears landed into her goopy form.
"Please don't say that. We can get you help before it's too late. Please don't go." Scamp shrunk down to his original size as he stepped into Ellie's melting form, the orbs around his neck looking much larger on this smaller frame. He rubbed his nose against hers, causing a river pattern to flow throughout her body.
Jon watched in amazement as Ellie's body began to form back together again, the girl returning to her human form. Her eyes were closed as her energy was still sapped. "Ellie?" The girl slowly opened her eyes as if she were waking up for the first time. She looked towards her boyfriend with a fearful expression.
"Please tell me you didn't pull a Juliet and decide you literally couldn't live without me. I'm not big on that story." Jon immediately hugged his girlfriend as more tears ran down his face.
"Don't ever scare me with the dying talk again! You are in big trouble!" In spite of these outcries, he couldn't help but pull back with a smile before continuously kissing his girlfriend all over her face. This caused her to laugh at how he was tickling her, only for the boy to then take her lips in a passionate kiss. She began to close her eyes in order to enjoy the moment, only for the duo to separate as Scamp happily pounced on her chest a few times.
"Scamp! Look at you being a ghostly little hero! You deserve a reward for that." She kissed the ghost otter on top of his head, causing the little spirit to whine happily as he curled up into her. The glow he was giving off made her feel whole as the last remnants of her melting wore off.
Ellie suddenly realized something as she looked down at the otter with a shocked look. "Hold on… you're a Spirit Guardian. You saved my life. Does that mean…" Scamp nodded his head vigorously, revealing that he understood them the whole time as Jon smirked.
"Yup. Looks like you have yourself a spirit guardian, Ellie. This also means that when he took our picture earlier he stole my phone." Ellie hugged the otter close, only two words popping in her head. A sonic boom rang through the air as Clark suddenly landed in front of them.
"I heard a scream and something about dying!" cried the Man of Steel. "I got here as quickly as I could! Is everything alright!?" He quickly noticed the exasperated smile Jon was sending him, as well as signs of lipstick on his lips. Ellie immediately stood up as she held Scamp out for the man to see.
"Clark, I got a super pet!" cried the ghost girl. "His name's Scamp and he's my Spirit Guardian! All it took was befriending him and nearly melting to death because of a ghost bear!" Clark blinked a few times, only to groan as he leaned forward. Several people were going to bark his ear off for not getting here on time.
Amity Park, Illinois
Danny was on his computer again, this time in the living room. He was looking at a very different page now, one detailing firearms. He had this insatiable fury eating at the back of his mind. He heard footsteps nearby, causing him to look behind himself. Jason walked into the room, quickly noticing what was on the ghost boy's screen.
"Hunting rifles?" questioned the Red Hood. "What, gonna prove to Skulker that anyone can be a better hunter than him?" Danny shook his head in denial.
"Nah!" cried the halfa. "I'm thinking about going hunting soon and need to design a powerful ghost gun. For some reason I feel a strong need to skin a bear and threaten a guy. I can't explain it." Jason chuckled as he shook his head.
"Ha! Sounds like you have Mad Dad instincts. You're too young to actually have a kid so maybe Cujo's been adopted by someone." Danny hummed as he looked at his screen again. A thought crossed his mind as he growled.
"Danielle better not have gotten a boyfriend without telling me… Why is my mind going there?" His thoughts and his internet search were cut off as Jason immediately closed the boy's laptop. Danny looked like he was about to yell at the Gothamite about how he wasn't finished, only to gulp as he saw the glare on his face. Jason crossed his arms in a full display of elder-brother intimidation.
"Danny, who the Future Shock is Danielle?… Hoover Dam that genie ghost!" Danny chuckled nervously, realizing he said his prior words out loud.
Inkaliber: That's the chapter everyone! Ellie finally gets to meet Bob and Krypto, getting Jon to take her on a search for her own Super Pet. They ended up finding that pet in the form of Scamp the Spirit Otter, even sharing their first kiss as he took their picture. It did at the cost of her becoming even more unstable and Danny developing an overprotective dad mentality. You'll just have to wait and see how things go from here.
