Jonah now finds himself on a Floor where the ground, walls, and ceiling are all flat and white. He keens his Insight to get a layout of this Floor.

This floor is as big as that city Orario up above. He thought. It is a maze then it enters an empty area which gives way to another maze, then another empty area, then a maze! Each time getting smaller until I reach the center, where the entrance to the lower Floor is! This whole place is like a five-tier cake! And each of them are numbered! This one is five, the next one is four, and all the way in to one. Ah, but there are monsters here. What is that building in the third area? It has something to do with lots of monsters. Time to get this started.

The Moon-scented Hunter walks down one hallway and the next as he navigates this Floor. His Insight shows him three goat skeletons with robe-like skin and soon hears the sound of rattling bones coming from behind him. He looks to see three Skull Sheep seemingly drift toward him. He furls the Saw Cleaver for what is to come.

Jonah quickens to one side while slashing in a roundhouse arc, decapitating the Skull Sheep that sped toward him. He twirls while unfurling the Saw Cleaver in mid-assault to chop through the back of the second one speeding up to him. He twirls again while furling the Saw Cleaver and grabs the third one speeding up on him by one of its horns, then firmly pulls back while slashing down across its neck to decapitate that one as well. All three disintegrate and drop their stones with the last one dropping a blanket that was actually its skin.

His Insight shows him another Skull Sheep emerging and he twirls while stabbing out with furled Saw Cleaver shoving the blade into its mouth and shattering the monster's teeth. He grabs it by one of its horns and pulls while still pushing the blade to effectively slash through its head so that it disintegrates.

He destroys the stones and continues onward, leaving the blanket one of them had dropped.

His Insight makes him swat aside a white stake flying toward him. Another one comes flying toward him and he swats that aside too. Then another, and another, and another still. But all were swatted aside. Another comes flying toward Jonah but he quickens past it right up to the source: another Skull Sheep. He decapitates it so that it disintegrates and he destroys the stone it left behind. He continues onward.

Up ahead, he encounters five Ooze, each one a different color: red, blue, green, yellow, and white. They approach him side-by-side yet slowly; he could outwalk them. He can see their stones floating in their centers.

Jonah keens his Insight to see what will happen, then smirks while casually walking toward them. He steps onto one of those living jellies that are about the size of his own head and it instantly splatters, crushing its stone with his foot in the process. He steps on the others as well, causing them to suffer the same fate the moment they touch him and moves on.

He foresaw what was going to happen when those jelly monsters touched him.

I wonder why they were destroyed by me like that? He pondered. I mean, they must be a threat to the rest of these people who come down here. So what's so special about me that they burst the moment they touch me? No, I have to stay focused.

As the image of more Skull Sheep up ahead appears to him, then hears their rattling. He quickens forward before they could react, vanquishing two more Skull Sheep. Further down, he encounters a dozen more Ooze and they too are destroyed like the rest he encountered earlier with some of them even leaving behind colorful puddles.

After more twists and turns of large hallways, Jonah eventually arrives before an opening without incident. Upon exiting, he finds himself within a wide open space with a high white wall before him. In the distance, he sees the entrance with the number four above it. He crosses the distance and arrives at that entrance without incident, then enters and keens his Insight once again to find the way out. Upon finding it, he starts walking toward it.

Jonah soon encounters eight Barbarians and unfurls the Saw Cleaver. One of them attempts to attack him by use of its long thick cable-like tongue, only to get it chopped off. That Barbarian in turn gets chopped faster than it could react to the pain. Five more get chopped and disintegrate. Of the remaining two Barbarians, Jonah does a rising chop, cutting one of them open from groin to crown, causing it to fall apart in two pieces and disintegrate. As he ascends, he twirls and chops downward to split the last Barbarian in two from crown to groin. It disintegrates to leave its stone as well, some of them had left some fur and internal organs behind.

The Good Hunter destroys those stones and continues onward. He turns down one huge corridor after another and ends up encountering something only too familiar to him.

So they have werewolves here too! He noted at the sight of the first monsters he had ever encountered in Yharnam, except these are naked with white fur and obvious wolf heads. They are also armed with white stone knives and cudgels.

The eight Loup Garou howl and attack Jonah en mass, who chops them left, right, front, and back so that they end up leaving their stones for him to destroy then continue onward. More twists and turns down various large hallways and he is confronted by Lizardmen Elite. Jonah chops through one of them and notices something.

Their scales seem a little harder. He thought.

That does not stop Jonah from chopping through the rest of them like a whirlwind of death. He sighs while looking down at the stones they left behind and proceeds to destroy them, then continues onward with more twists and turns to follow. He encounters more of those previous monsters within this Number Four area and manages to get rid of them all.

He encounters the exit and sees the other wall across the open space to read, number three, above the door into it.

Yeah, this place is getting smaller. Jonah thought as he takes note of the now shorter distance to cross over to that other place.

Upon entering that other place, he keens his Insight and follows the trail. He does not get far when he encounters six Obsidian Soldiers that slowly move toward the Moon-scented Hunter.

Okay, now these look like they're going to be a problem since they're made out of stone. Jonah thought as he tenses for the coming battle. A pity I don't have the Kirk Hammer because it would be perfect against them. Fortunately, this Saw Cleaver's force field blade can be just as effective.

Jonah charges forward with a two-handed swing at one of the Obsidian Solders as it slowly raises it arm to smash him with a fist that resembles a boulder. But it along with the rest of its comrades might as well be moving in extra slow motion to the Good Hunter, who successfully chops off its arm in one swipe. Despite the metal of the Saw Cleaver, both blade and handle, being of an unearthly metal whose hardness and durability cannot be accurately measured, the metal alone might not have been enough to chop through that stone in one swipe. No, it took the extra effort of the force field encasing the Saw Cleaver to help with that.

The Moon-scented Hunter twirls and chops through its head, hitting its eye. The Obsidian Soldier disintegrates.

Ah, so that eye of theirs is their weak spot. He thought. Good to know.

Jonah quickens amongst them, aiming for their single eye that is little more than a purple light. Soon, they leave only their stones behind for him to destroy, along with pieces of obsidian that he leaves behind.

He walks down more twists and turns in this place, sometimes even having to climb up to other hallways and go through rooms.

This place is getting more complicated. He thought at one point after climbing down a ladder in order to go further.

Jonah encounters a group of twenty Spartoi armed with swords, shields, lances, and swords all of which are made of bone like themselves.

They encircle the Good Hunter and he quickly carves a path through a part of them, sending bones and weapons flying and them disintegrating. Once outside the circle, he goes to work reducing their numbers further until there are none left but their stones.

They fought like regular people would. He thought, then looks down at himself. Damn it, they even got some hits on me too.

Noting the tears in some areas of his clothes and the cuts underneath.

Nothing a visceral attack can't fix. He thought as he goes about destroying their stones. I just need to find an opponent that bleeds.

As he walks along, he enters a hallway with windows on the sides. A skybridge to be exact. He looks out one side of the window to see something unusual.

What? A colosseum?! He thought while stopping to stare.

He watches as monsters from one of four directions cross one of four bridges over a yawning chasm into that colosseum. He watches as monsters within that place come out of walls and start fighting one another. Monsters of all sorts, including those he had been fighting earlier on this floor.

Why are they fighting each other like that? Jonah thought. It's tempting to go down there and join in on the fun, but there are so many of them coming out of its walls.

The Moon-scented Hunter turns away and leaves. He travels down more twists and turns of hallways, passing through rooms, even climbing up and climbing down all in the effort to get to the way out that was shown to him. Once more he encounters more Spartoi, along with more Obsidian Soldiers as well. He manages to prevail and destroy their stones afterwards.

Jonah finally exits that place to see the same thing once more: a flat open space with a huge wall, this time even closer and with the number two above its entrance. He crosses the now shorter distance and enters as he keens his Insight to show him the way, showing him an even more complicated path than the previous one. With each area of the path he is to take punctuated by one of two large rooms.

How odd. He thought.

The Good Hunter walks down that path, anticipating monsters coming for him. The further he walks, the less of a likelihood that it seems.

Where are they? He thought. Are they giving me a break or something?

He continues walking along without incident, ever having to go down one hallway after another, through rooms. Up. Down. Left. Right. Until he comes upon one of those two huge rooms. He walks through that room to the exit across the way from him, only for his Insight to show those doors closing and they do so, with the exit before him rapidly disappearing.

His Insight next shows him a huge snake with four legs and spikes on its back about to crawl out of a wall up high. There is a crackling sound from up high and Jonah looks to see a large crack appear on one of the walls. A huge dark green lizard head emerges then the rest of its body crawls out to reveal its spike-covered back and abnormally long body for a four legged monster.

It is Peluda.

Jonah quickens away as Peluda launches some of those spikes at him, but only managed to hit the spot where he was. He next gets the image of fire being spat at him and Peluda does so at where he had been standing.

Peluda rapidly crawls up the wall, slithering in the process, up onto the ceiling as Jonah watches it intently while keening his Insight with Hunter's Pistol in hand.

Time to get you down here! Jonah thought.

The Good Hunter continues watching Peluda, following its movements. It finally stops to fire more spikes down at him, but Jonah is too quick as he is now standing elsewhere. Peluda opens its mouth to shoot another fireball down at Jonah, who immediately points and shoots.

The quicksilver bullet hits Peluda in the back of its mouth, causing it to gag and choke then fall from the ceiling and hit the ground where it writhes in agony. Jonah is now upon it with unfurled Saw Cleaver held high at a right angle in both hands. He chops into it, taking off one of its front legs, then quickens down Peluda's body stopping only upon taking off one of its back legs. He does a visceral attack upon it, through that long gash. Peluda screeches as its blood gushes out over Jonah in a torrent.

The Moon-scented Hunter quickens back up to its head and decapitates it so that it disintegrates to leave its stone behind.

Jonah sighs as he takes a moment to savor the victory. Peluda's blood begins disappearing from him as the Blood Rapture Rune absorbs it to put it to use by mending both his body and clothing from the encounter he had with those Spartoi. He looks to the doors to see that one of those doors is now clear. His Insight showing him to be the way to take in order to go further.

I guess that other room will also have a semi-powerful monster of its own like the one I just fought. He thought as he continues onward. And I only have three bullets left now.

Just as it was on his way to the first room, so it was on his way to the second as he enters and looks around. The exits suddenly close, not like doors but just flow into closing without a sound.

"All right, I'm here!" Jonah announced while looking around. "Now come out and die!"

No sooner had he finished saying that when his Insight shows him the image of a giant snake coming up through the floor. There is a crackling sound nearby and he looks to see the Worm Well, AKA Lambton, emerge up through a hole it had made in the floor, darting its tongue in and out to get the smell of him.

The Worm Well continues emerging to reveal that it is easily big enough to effortlessly swallow the Good Hunter in one gulp.

Lambton finishes emerging out of that hole in the floor and starts encircling Jonah in a clockwise manner as he keens his Insight with the Hunter's Pistol in hand once again.

It gets closer with each circle it makes. He thought as he keeps turning with it.

Closer and closer the Worm Well gets. He can see its coming attack in his mind as it will open its mouth wide and lunge at him in the attempt to swallow him whole.

Jonah immediately points and shoots the Worm Well before it could attempt that attack upon him.

The bullet strikes Lambton in the side of its face, directly into one of its heat pits. The effect is instant as it starts hissing and squirming in agony. Jonah puts the Hunter's Pistol away and darts forward with unfurled Saw Cleaver high in both hands and chops into the Worm Well's thick body.

The Moon-scented Hunter doesn't stop as he twirls to his right and chops into it again, and keeps twirling right sided with each chop, quickening all the way up to chop off the tip of its tail. He stops to step back and look, watching Lambton writhe in agony as its entire side looks as if it had been attacked with a corkscrew as big as itself.

The Well Worm bleeds out rapidly and finally goes still. It disintegrates to leave not only its stone behind but one of its fangs and the top part of its skull. The Good Hunter destroys that stone and looks to the doorway that is now open to him.

I wonder what the next monster in that other room is going to be like? He thought. And I have only two bullets left now.

Just a little further he encounters a doorway and goes through to find that it is the exit as the other room is literally within a stone's throw with the number five above its entrance. Jonah walks that very short distance and enters.

This is just like those two rooms that I fought those previous monsters in. He thought while looking around from the threshold. There's the entrance to the next Floor down.

The Good Hunter keens his Insight.

There it is. He thought. This one, the giant black skeleton I was told about. Udaeus. Yes, that's its name!

Jonah walks forward. As was shown to him, the entrance behind him flows closed as the entrance to the Floor below also does the same thing. For a moment there is a tense silence.

Then, a rumbling that causes the ground to tremble beneath his feet. Udaeus rises.

Jonah watches as the Monster Rex continues to rise until it finally stops, ending the rumbling and trembling, to show that it has no lower half.

If it had a lower half, I don't think I would be level with its knees. Jonah thought while staring up at it.

Udaeus tilts its head forward to stare down at Jonah, then lifts its arms up and out of the ground to reveal hands as large as the left hand of the Cleric Beast. There is another rumbling and trembling of the ground, albeit lighter, as a short black pillar with a conical top rises near its right side.

The Monster Rex clasps that pillar with its right hand and pulls it out to reveal that it is actually the hilt of its massive black sword.

Now this is going to be a battle. Jonah thought.
