Hermione POV
"You were staring at him ."
"But Hermione, he was writing a list, just like you ."
"Oh." A feeling akin to mirth goes through my body and I can't help but smile. "I would like to be sure before allowing myself to dream of having a sibling, I started brewing the potion on Monday. It will simmer for 10 days before we can add the hair."
" We could ask Blaise's help for it."
"Ask my help on what?"
"A strand of Nott's hair."
"Theo's hair? For what?"
"Forget it, Blaise." Maybe if I try an Accio for Theo's hair when passing in the hall I'll succeed. I don't want to mistake a cathair for a hair never in my life again.
"I didn't say no, I'll bring tomorrow. In fact there is something I would like to ask of you too."
"Of course we'll meet her, she's followed you and is on the library door, you can bring her over now." Blaise looks surprised but relieved and is out of our alcove before I can inquire about who followed him.
"Do you still have Polyjuice?"
"Yes."
"Perfect, so I think we can solve the wand issue."
"How-" Blaise is back with… bloody hell: the blond slytherin witch who stared at me.
"Ladies, I'd like to formally introduce you to a Housemate of mine, Daphne Greengrass. She's eager to make your acquaintance".
"Good afternoon, Ms Granger, Ms Lovegood."
"Hello Daphne, it'll be a long journey but I'm sure Hermione will do her best to help you both before time runs out. Hermione, on Sundays afternoon I'll stay in my dorm reviewing articles for the Quibbler from 4 to 7pm," Daphne's eyes are wide and Blaise is feigning disinterest. "Blaise, I think they need privacy for the next part. Why don't we prepare the warming charms for our bathing suits?"
"Miss Granger, I-."
"You may call me Hermione and don't you worry about Luna, she simply knows things."
Draco POV
Blaise's been acting strange. He's sniffing food and drinks at meal times, like a commoner. Yesterday, he all but threw Theo out of the bench and now he was nowhere to be seen at breakfast. I wonder if he was hit with a spell in the head.
Alas not my snake, not my problem.
Today is my meeting with Granger. I wonder how I can convert our tutoring to dating. I have green apples again because she ate the one I brought last Sunday, a galleon for the lesson and- she's not alone at the table. How am I supposed to woo her with Luna sitting on my spot?
"Ladies."
"Draco? The other student you're tutoring is Draco Malfoy?"
"Yes, Luna. I'm tutoring Malfoy in transfiguration. Hello Malfoy, please sit down."
"Our agreement didn't state that I'd share my lessons with other students."
"Luna is my best friend and she is studying a subject different from yours. You and I will be done before she finishes her allotted reading."
"Hmpfd"
"I'm going to grab the transfiguration book we need."
I can't believe I have to share the only time we have together with someone else.
"You're pouting."
"I'm not pouting, mind your life, Malfoys don't p-" She's a friend of Granger, she may have important information. "Er- You and Granger are friends, right?"
"Why?" I don't remember Lovegood being so distrustful, usually she's skipping around professing riddles to random people.
"Has she told you about the book?" She only raises her eyebrow.
"Do you mean the one she went to pick up just now? I guess it's about Gamp's la-"
"No, you know THE book, why does she want it for? I think Gamp is not the true reason." Hasn't Granger told her best friend?
"I'm back. Let's start, did you bring a coin?"
"Yes and some apples too."
