-Master Bruce, she is awake. - said Alfred walking into Wayne's office.
-Ah!? Great! - Bruce was awake too for the last two days he slept only three hours.
Now when they finally cracked the Evan's app they could track some of the movements and be prepared ahead to face some unexpected orders of Evan to his people. For the last five hours Bruce was starring in three computer screens trying to figure out the next move. He knew soon Evan would realize that they cracked his app or maybe he already did. It was dangerous because he could use it to his advantage and lead police or Batman to a trap. Everything had to be analyzed before doing any moves.
It was a gloomy morning as always for the last six months. City air got so bad and even so Batman ended up being immune to the chemical fog it was obvious he got some damage to his longs. After a great operation to deliver food and supplies to the dying Zones Bruce Wayne felt responsibility for those people as well as for those who were on the main land fighting Evan. He kept his promise to Gordon and continued his research which could help the police get over the suffocating fog because some of his men were not immune to the chemicals. As for now Wayne Enterprises supplied police with special masks and oxygen cans to protect their air pulmonary system.
When Alfred said his announcement Bruce agreed but never understood what was this announcement about because all his thoughts were on the next Evan's endeavor. But when it slowly came to him he turned his head from the screen and looked at Alfred confused.
-She woke up? - quietly said Bruce Wayne then he immediately stood up and left the office going towards the recovery room.
There she was broken but not dead yet. Justice lay on a wide bed with a lots of monitors hooked up to her. She couldn't see Bruce Wayne because he was behind the mirror glass but he saw her.
-How is she?
-She is much-much better now, sir. She remembers everything till the pointe when they got to the hospital. She doesn't remember much about the bus but she knows there was something done to her. She remembers some flash scenes from that horrible ride.
-Can she move her hands?
-She can a little. Tendons and mussels in her shoulders were ripped but it will grow very very slowly back. - said Lucius coming into the room behind the mirror. - I took it upon myself to make her life easier through this process and infused a new synthetic tissues where it was needed. When her real tendons and mussels will replenish organically they can use synthetic materials as a carcass to grow over and faster.
-We did it once with your knee, master Bruce if you remember.
-I do. It was a real deal to me and helped a lot. I hope she will recover soon enough because I need everybody I can get.
He watched a woman behind the glass a little bit more. She was trying to move her hands and once she even lifted a left one for couple of inches from the bed.
-She is going to be ok, Bruce. - said Lucius. - What about our friend Evan? What is his next move?
-I can't get a grasp on it yet. There is not enough information. All I know is where some of the major chemical leaks are located so I want to try to stop them or at least slow down.
-This is your second day with no sleep, master Bruce. - remained him Alfred.
-You are right. I will take a quick four hours nap. Please, wake me up at the sundown, Alfred.
-Will do, master Bruce. Will do.
