Fourth great ninja war is going on and one enemy after another are getting power ups. Ten tails, Obito then Madara now Mother of the Sage of the Six Paths, Kaguya Otsutsuki, who is revived after Black Zetsu pierces Madara through his heart, after casting Infinite Tsukiyomi. Her chakra level is so high that even Juubi's chakra feels like a genin to a jounin.
She and team 7 who were not affected by infinite tsukiyomi' because of sasuke started to fight, when kaguya took them to her dimension of volcano, ice mounts, gravity, acid ocean, desert which even kages would be hard pressed to live.
Kaguya transported sasuke to different dimension while keeping everyone in ice mountains and they started to fight, when kaguya attacked Naruto with ice manipulation he got struck, his left eye got destroyed by ice chunk.
But they continued to fight but naruto couldn't heal his eye, due to that kyūbi advised him to take kaguya's rinne sharingan in that way he can have an eye also stop the genjutsu
however, naruto refused to take it while wanting to preserve his chakra for the fight and then obito proposed the idea of bringing sasuke back using kamui and Naruto sent one of his clones with obito and Sakura to assist them with chakra
but it was destroyed by kaguya's Ash killing bone projectile, but with the help of Sakura's hundred healing seal they were able to bring sasuke back. As soon as they regrouped kaguya once again changed the dimension
this time she brought them to gravity plane to kill them all using her ash killing bones, when she sent a bones towards sasuke him, kakashi obito decided to sacrifice themselves in order to save them
but obito wanting to redeem for his sins absorbs the bone meant for kakashi into kamui dimension leaving himself open, when bone pierced him he started to turn to dust, kaguya changed her dimensions to core because of much needed chakra.
"If you resist more, you'll also share the same fate as obito who betrayed both side, not having a person to mourn for his death, hated by friends and foe alike, give up Naruto uzumaki if you don't wanna turn into dust like him" zetsu started to taunt Naruto while belittling obito
He tried healing obito unheeding zetsu's words while sasuke distracted kaguya, when he realised he can't heal obito he started tear up which made obito smile that someone is out there concerned about his well-being
"thanks naruto for waking me up, I have to go. save your chakra it's futile to heal me, also you better become hokage" with his last words obito crumbled to dust which made both kakashi naruto cry, whose left eye started bleed due to crying
this reminds him of his lack of an eye kurama's advice, then he start to berate himself and finally decide to take her eye, black zetsu was still taunting him
however, in very swift motion he cutoff kaguya's arm which had zetsu with his right hand and takes kaguya's rinne sharingan in his left hand at the same time."Don't you dare talk about obito he is not like you, you leech. you're just mama's boy who can't face the world" naruto places the rinne sharingan in his left eye socket heals it up.
"How dare you to take my eye you.. you insolent child" enraged kaguya rushed towards him to take her eye back that continued their fight, zetsu is pinned to floor by naruto's truth seeker orbs
Naruto made rasengan variants of all bijuu threw them at kaguya,when they hit her she starts to get deformed to a rabbit that stood at a impressive height of 5000m takk, anything it touched got absorbed, it showed when a clone got absorbed in an instant.
while this was going on, slowly blonds body started to change his hair, chakra cloak turned to white, now with ten TSO levitating behind his back. both his eyes turned silver with four black concentric rings three red tomoes in each rings subconsciously, he was turning into an otsutsuki,then his forehead protector fell off to reveal a slit that showed a light glimpse of blood red rinne sharingan
as changes began naruto began to gain experience on usage of eye abilities RS which are copy, adapt and absorb, while retaining kaguya's abilities but copy and adapt were automatic.
sakura was running for her life from the humanoid creature it absorb anything is catching up "sasuke save her with your visual prowess" as he was about to save her kakashi beat him to his punch, grabbing her by the hand of susanoo a 100m tall humanoid figure granted to MS user in his case obito gave his visual prowess to kakashi through spiritual bond for few minutes.
"woah! kakashi sensei you're awesome" exclaimed naruto unexpectedly copying all three comrades experiences jutsus "come on guys lets save the world" he utters then throws a few kamui shuriken from his susanoo's hand that teleported the parts of humanoid rabbit.
kaguya comes out of the figure fires 3 ash killing bones towards kakashi, who phases through them readies a kamui raikiri, that cuts kaguya's right shoulder. she withheld the dimension even after loosing the rinne sharingan
Then she forms a biggest TSO to take chakra from allied shinobi force then she starts to fight again, naruto fires few bone projectiles of hers instinctively on her now he has become 5 time faster than he was before.
as the fight escalates both come infront of each other naruto uses sasuke's amenotajikara to summon kaguya b/w them instinctively. she tries to fly back while sending bone projectile towards him within a dimensional rift but Naruto sees kakashi using kamui to counter it in the corner of his eyes
making a limbo clone like madara,sakura his limbo punches kaguya's head that brings her between the two, as soon as their hands touched her, naruto start to absorb all of her chakra that activating her sealing, then madara all the bijū were spit out of her
because of absorbing all of her chakra his forehead slit opens fully to reveal red rinne sharingan, with that the six paths planetary devastation triggers large chunks of earth floats up to make a mini moon.
when the sealing started everything in its vicinity started to be sucked towards its core due to heavy gravity, kakashi saves sakura from being sealed, then sasuke shunshins beside them a few seconds later.
"Ah... I didn't miss you zetsu, I guess you don't like living far from your mother" taking zetsu in hand "you...! what do you know anything about it anyway, you're just a piece of shinobi era that I created" zetsu shrieks at naruto in fury "shinobi world you created" he creates a small planetary devastation takes his TSO, before throwing zetsu towards the seal reminiscing about his memory as a ninja and the people he met.
With that he deactivates his eyes and chakra cloak runs towards his team the bijū. "It's finally over she got sealed" naruto gets dubious of darkness inside sasuke's heart,"what!.what about us, are we stuck, how can we go back" sakura freaks out
naruto senses a muster of huge amount of chakra reactivates his eyes ready for any attack, but in an instant scenery around them changes, as they stand in real world infront of the kages sage of six paths who fulfilled the summoning rituals
"It's you super gramps, I thought a other enemy showed up" naruto whines " why do you have that..."so6p stutters "what..! why do you have that" naruto ask not getting "why'd you have rinne sharingan rinnegan they look same but different at the same time" "ohh these,yar mother nibbed one of my eye, so I took her third eye, dunno somehow this happened" he replies by shutting his eye chuckles at the memory, hogoromo gets surprised watching naruto deactivate his eyes.
before he can ask how he did it naruto spots kurama runs off "oi.. kurama, did you miss me","don't yell you idiot, it's not that long we were separated, also other half of me is still inside you"kurama yells feeling embarassed "didn't know mighty kurama can be embarassed" son goku budges jovially
"this is how I wished to see my children be treated one day" so6p remembers a prophecy a toad told "a blue eyed youth who can name all the bijū, brings forth a miracles, ou're the prophesied child that gammamaru foresaw", "what you know that grumpy old toad, man he summons me ask me who I am,he really is old" naruto exclaims
hashirama starts to walk toward madara "you don't need to kill him, he's a jinjuriki will die eventually" states hogoromo stopping sasuke in his tracks,"is that ya hashirama" madara mutters which got a positive reply "your dream still lives on while mine is just a fake ah!, where did I go wrong hashirama"he asks in sadness
"we were never meant to do everything on our own madara, the only thing we should do is trusting future generations, let's meet in the afterlife my friend " he sadly watches madara die
all the reanimated bodies starts to glow up like when they were released, seeing his father naruto starts to tear up, with a heartfelt talk then minato wises him for his birthday, before all of them could go to afterlife naruto gives a bow as a sign of respect to every kage unknowingly copying all of their jutsus experience everyone gives birthday wishes to him before departing to the afterlife.
naruto remains there for few minutes, he inquires walking towards so6p "how do we undo this supergramps?" hogoromo replies "earlier, both of you're needed to make ram seal to undo it, but since you yourself got the rinnegan chakra of all bijūs you can make ram seal to undo it"
naruto start gathering chakra to release the genjutsu but before he could form ram seal sasuke attacks him with chidori spear, "what are doing sasuke" he asks in a grave undertone, by gaining others experience he grew up from his antics
"I'm going to kill all the kages oversee the world peace" replies sasuke calmly while putting all the snarling bijuu under genjutsu "and you think, I'll let you do that,I'll give you one chance to back off" "if not what you'll kill me.." before he can start his taunt "yeah you'll leave me no choice but to kill you" "what now are we talking about killing huh!?. naruto you don't have what it takes to kill me..."he didn't let sasuke continue his thoughts
"sasuke! you don't know me, I grew up. I'm not gonna put a person over a world peace, even if he's a friend" those words struck core to all that stood there even more so for sakura who thought naruto would bring sasuke back at all costs gets heartbroken
"so, what about I can't become hokage if I can't save my friend and all the crap"sasuke mocks him even though he was taken a back by naruto's words, "are you trying to put a guilty conscience are something because it won't work, you're not sasuke you're just his superiority and inferiority complex that grown in the name of revenge I am going save sasuke by killing you" this really took back sasuke for a while but he regained his composure
"if you think you can kill me come to where it all started. let's end this for once and for all, loser" sasuke said arrogantly thinking his rinnegan and all the bijuu are more than enough to kill Naruto." As you wish sasuke if that's the path you take, so be it" Naruto stated nonchalantly as sasuke turned to leave
"please sasuke stay back if you have even a little love for me please don't go back, please don't go" Sakura begged with tears in her eyes "Sakura you really are annoying" said sasuke and prepared his rinnegan to place genjutsu to knock her out but naruto with a flick of his fingers nullified his genjutsu this made sasuke mad but didn't say anything. he walked away towards the place where you meet both beginning and the end the 'valley of the end'.
As soon as he left Naruto made a clone that is unlike any other clones is one of his rinnegan jutsu that is as strong as him and can use tailed beast chakra and house them, and he used that technique and gave kurama's consciousness to it and asked to collect as much nature chakra as he can, and started to leave
"Naruto you said you will bring him back to me, are you really going to kill him?" asks Sakura "Naruto uzumaki, so this is the path you choose, what about bringing peace to the world with understanding you promised me in limbo" hogoromo asked naruto heard both of them and turned towards Kakashi to see if he has anything to say and he was not disappointed
"I thought you would never abandon your friends, I really failed as a sensei didn't I?!" kakashi said both disappointed in himself and naruto
he replied to all "yeah... I told you I'll bring him I intend to do so, whatever happens afterwards is not my problem as I said earlier he's not the sasuke we knew. that thing is just his ego sensei I'm not gonna criticize you but where were you when we needed, you didn't even stop him when ero sennin told you about taking me on a training trip. even after coming back you didn't ask what I learned how should I train forward, hell you didn't even tell me shadow clone can transfer memories you only said that because I was too weak during that time to face any akatsuki member you're disappointed in me. when did I ever abandon any of you, I even cried for the person who is responsible for my parents death the bad condition of my childhood, when orochimaru attacked us you only asked about sasuke and his well being. I don't think you know this but he put a five elemental seal on me that made my chakra even more erratic, I was fighting on a handicap, when I won you were rather surprised than proud, let's leave all of that but even after this whole war he wants to rule the world through iron fist by killing all the kages,tsunade is like a mother to me gaara is a real brother even onoki who hated my father with his every nerve said after the war if he survive he wants to apologise to all bijuu and jinjuriki's for the hidden villages treatment on us I am not gonna put some egoistic child who is throwing tantrum because he is not getting something. besides what's difference between him and madara's plan anyway atleast madara let them live in dream how they want, what about him?! he is going to enslave everyone.so it's decided I will defeat him and going to give a last final chance for redemption to him. if he don't change then I will kill him myself, as per your question I have not changed my nindo but adding something to it. I will give everyone a second chance no matter who they are yeah I was naive back then only through understanding we can have peace, In this war I learnt something, majority understood everything but chose not to do because they have power on top, the same for sasuke as well he understands me more than anyone yet he thinks his pain is greater than anyone, nobody's pain is great or less, ant has it's weight while elephant has it's own. We need both understanding power to do something about it that's the same for you supergramps, when you were walking the earth you were able to bring peace. as soon you got children one got ideology of power and other got understanding for they're from yourself. It is like putting you against yourself, in three days of this war so many shinobi stood behind me, because I understood them and they understood me, but if I didn't have the power to fight back would they still be watching my back?!. That is the conclusion I came to, there is only coexistence in this world not just existence, equilibrium can be met only when opposing forces work together " Naruto explained not bating an eyelash
"I don't care what you think of me, but I will stand by what my nindo is" with that he walked off towards valley of the end, while Kakashi felt terrible after realising he didn't do anything for either Naruto or Sakura to improve on and sages visage started waver "it seems my stay here is coming to an end, I wish them to come to their conclusion with this final battle" saying that the legendary sage of six paths disappeared into thin air.
