Hello and welcome to this Overlord fic. I would first like to state I draw inspiration for this fic from Conversion, written by NightApproaches and A Theory on Godhood: An Overlord Story, by Konahrik3115

This is another other Supreme being traveling to the new world with Momonga fic so if that isn't your cup of tea I apologize, because to me the other members of Ainz ooal gown are incredibly interesting.

Aside from characters we already have more info such as models three Supreme beings will be joining them. Blue planet (who is one we have good knowledge about but no character class and such) Garnet (lover of gimmicks and CZ's creator) Nearata, who we have no info about other then he was a merchant type of character with appraisal skills, Genjiro, organization nut and Entoma's creator, Whitebrim, lover of maids and co-creator of the normal maids with Yamaiko, and Beast King Mekongawa, Lupusregina's creator and close friend of Nishikienrai.

My rendition of him, Nearata, Genjiro and Garnet will be as much OC as we get other than making up a race and class for Blue Planet. (Nearata will also be getting an npc)

But we'll get into the other members showing up in the story.

While I'll try and have as much of the npc's as I can I'll probably be focusing on the players more so then them so just a heads up for that. And we have a lot of Supreme being joining us, almost half the guild which is a lot of characters to cover so please note I'm trying my best here, we'll most like take a format where a team of players is doing something backed up by an NPC or 2, because having a large mass of character all doing the same thing would be too overwhelming to write.

Also a final note: while I know about some light novel stuff I haven't actually read it and have only watched the anime currently, but by the time this goes out I may sit down and read the novel finally.

"talking."

"thinking."

Let us begin then, I hope you enjoy

Earth, year 2138, Tokyo megacity, section Zeta

For Suzuki Satoru, real life was a prison, a hellscape in which he needed to exist so he could get back to his real life, Dmmo-rpg or Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games was Suzuki's chosen poison, dive technology itself changed gaming, the ability to leave behind and plug your consciousness itself into the game allowed for a level of realism never before seen, nowadays, if it wasn't using dive tech, it was practically a dead game from launch.

Yggdrasil was Suzuki's whole life, he had played it since launch until this very day, the day the servers shut down and Yggdrasil ended. That's right, today was the day Suzuki's life would end.

As he walked past a starving street orphan, who's entire rib cage was plainly visible he only felt emptier, as all, when it all ended, he may as well be one of these poor kids dying on the street, after all, twelve years of his life was about to be erased, what would he have to live for after that.

As he got home to his tiny room he quickly took off his respirator and took off his protective overalls.

Years upon years of humanity killing the world to turn a profit had eventually taken its toll, breathing too much air could cause no end of lung diseases and problems, resulting in a quick death and when it rained it was akin to a weak form of acid. But the rich? The greedy money obsessed CEO's in their ivory towers? Oh they were fine, they all had nice cushy biodomes with green grass and get this, clean water, the lap of luxury I know, they even got to eat real meat, like from a born and bred animal, the concept was almost alien to the ninety-nine percent. And how did they afford such luxuries, with all the money from the meat grinder of broken dreams and dead wage slaves that they used to kill this world, it made Suzuki want to fucking puke!

Geez he was starting to sound like Ulbert, he wondered if the pessimistic anarchist goat would respond to his invite?

He downed a tube of calorie paste and got back to his real life as he plugged himself into his dive rig, it taking up most of the apartment, it was the only thing that mattered anyway.

When Yggdrasil launched twelve years ago it quickly became theist played game in the world, why? Complete freedom with thousands of spells, hundreds of races, classes and all manner of ways to build your character in truth no two people were the same in Yggdrasil, PKing, guild wars, trolling, very few things, such as eighteen plus content, were off limits in the game, that amount of content and freedom of choice took the gaming world by storm, it was also the ultimate power fantasy, at the highest levels you had access to all types of amazing magic in the 9th and 10th tier, not only that but super tier magic, immense spells that could one-shot players and bosses if you could pull it off right, Yggdrasil made you feel like God,and it was like a drug, people poured thousands upon thousands of hours into the game, there was a noticeable statistical increase in unemployment due to people not wanting to log off and go to work. Suzuki was almost one of those people himself.

Then there was item crafting, people didn't use the same copy pasted strong gear you farmed from a boss, no you bleed for crafting materials and you made your perfect gear by hand…well menu but still.

Suzuki selected the Yggdrasil icon on his dive screen and finally was free of his earthly prison, he was finally his true digital self, he was finally Momonga again.

Yggdrasil, Helheim, The Great Tomb of Nazarick

Momonga instantly felt better in his digital flesh…Well flesh is definitely the wrong word as the player character was an elder Lich, an undead mage, specifically an 'Overlord' the highest form of the Lich racial line, as Momonga was a mix of racial levels and job levels.

The place he spawn in was the guild base of Ainz ooal gown, a guild he in fact led, the great tomb of Nazarick, it was their baby, so many mats, hour, blood sweat and even some paychecks had gone into turning this place into the supreme fortress and base for the guild, walls lined with all manner of fancy armor stands, banners baring their guild emblem, the banners themselves being made of the finest silks with gold embroidery, some of other types of precious metals to mark areas and such.

And it was all empty. Momonga was the only one left, out of the forty-one original members of his beloved guild he was the only regular player left, due to some circumstance or another they had all quit, handed over their entire inventory and just logged off, never to be seen again. The long list of "last online over a year ago" that filled his friends tab brought Momonga no end of sorrow.

They were Ainz ooal gown, one of the most renowned guilds in the history of the game, a match for any of the other top guilds such as Trinity, now it was a husk, only him and his guilds npc creations to keep him company, if that sounded depressing, it's because it was.

Momonga wished he had something special to do, it was the last day of the game after all, even with all the games popularity all things eventually die out, that was in large part due to Albion online, a new DMMO-RPG that launched three years ago that snatched a significant number of Yggdrasil's playerbase, not a bad game to be fair but to Momonga it was no Yggdrasil and no Ainz ooal gown.

In truth Momonga had sent out emails and messages to many of his friends and guild mates suggesting that they have one final meet up for old times sake, they spent so much time here, they at least owed it a proper send off, but so far he hadn't had a single response, he knew they quit the game but did it truly not matter, were the times they spent with one another special to only him? He refused to believe that, there's no way it didn't mean nothing! It couldn't, he didn't think he could take it if something that had been his entire life hadn't mattered to anyone but him.

Momonga decided to head to the meeting hall, a lavish room with a large round table with seats for all forty-one members of Ainz ooal gown, the thought that room would disappear with only one seat filled brought no end of sorrow to Momonga.

As he opened the door and looked about the room waves of nostalgia swallowed him.

.

.

.

"BOO!" A voice yelled about making Momonga recoil in shock, only to see the laughing avatar of a dark grey furred goat looking demon standing there.

"Man I got you! Ahhh classic, always were too suck in your own head to notice someone right next to you. What's up, leader." He spoke in a happy tone, the word leader said almost mockingly, but mocking and playing a harmless joke at his guildmates expense was Ulbert to a T.

Ulbert Alain Odle stood there, totally stripped of his normally fancy divine tier gear, his avatar covered by some plain clothes that all characters wore when they lacked any equipment.

"U-ulbert?!" Momonga asked in shock, he never responded to his email?! He never even appeared online?!

"Hahaha, man got you didn't I? I know I've been out of the game for ages but we spent a good portion of our lives here, building up Nazarick and our guild, no way I'd miss sending it off." Ulbert spoke feeling quite nostalgic, remembering all the meetings they had in this room, and all the arguments he had with that boy scout Touch-Me.

"It's great to see you, Ulbert." Momonga spoke, finally having another member of the guild online, Momonga felt happier then he had in weeks.

"Well not like this I ain't, you got any gear for me? Feels an insult to my awesome level 100 character to be rocking the noon shirt." Ulbert spoke as he gestured to his avatar, as it was wearing that beginner's unarmored clothing, often referred to as the 'noob shirt'.

"Of course I still have everyone's gear, let me get you a ring and we'll go grab it." Momonga said, it was true, Ulbert did look a lot more awesome with his full gear on, no way could he let his character be deleted while still wearing a noob shirt.

"Hey hey hey, don't just run off without me." Another voice spoke as they turned to see an humanoid insectoid standing there, the two had to think for a second before it clicked.

"Touch-Me!" Ulbert and Momonga shouted seeing their old guild mate and vice guild master standing there.

"Long time no see, Momonga, Ulbert, man this brings me back." He said as he looked around, in truth both of them weren't uses to seeing him like this, unlike Momonga who had a mix of racial and job levels Touch-Me was almost pure job level, as he didn't focus on his race that much, in his armor he looked like any other human player, they could probably count on one hand the number of times they'd seen Touch-Me's true avatar.

"OK I get Ulbert, but you not responding to my email? That's cold Touch-Me." Momonga spoke, displaying a sad emoticon.

"Hahaha, sorry man, but me and the others wanted it to be a surprise." Touch-Me spoke, confusing the undead and demon.

"Others?" They both repeated with a head tilt.

Just then many more blue lights went off as player after player logged on, his friends list lightning up with the green words 'online' for the first time in years.

"We wanted to surprise you, so I sent everyone a follow up email before they responded to yours and we planned to all go online at once." Touch-Me spoke laughing as Momonga looked around at the large collection of friends once again gathered.

"Why didn't I hear about this?!" Ulbert spoke as Momonga was still in shock at all the members being online.

"Well because once you found out about my plan I knew you'd tell him just to spite me." Touch-Me spoke with a deadpan emoji..

Ulbert didn't have a good retort as that sounded like something he'd definitely do, so he just flipped Touch-Me the bird, Touch-Me just chuckled at Ulberts antics, now that brought him back.

Momonga was still in shock as he looked around.

And Tabula Smaragdina

All in attendance there were nineteen members here, less then half of the original forty-one obviously but it had been years since they'd had this many members in attendance, if he was pretty sure he'd be crying right now if possible, so many of his friends together again, this was truly a last day worthy of Ainz ooal gown.

"Man it's been so long Momonga, great to see you man." The birdman Peroroncino spoke as he walked up to his friend, it seemed everyone was greeting everyone, it seemed other then a few people nobody had kept in touch.

"It's great to see you too Pero, all of you." Momonga spoke as his friends took their seats, each of the fine chairs bearing each member's personal emblem with the mark of their guild stamped proudly in the center of the table.

After some greetings and jokes Ulbert brought up his original point.

"So Momonga, you're not just gonna have us stay here in this rags are you?" He spoke, gesturing to his equipment or the lack thereof.

"I thought he sold all our gear?" The tired voice of Herohero spoke of the black ooze having something that resembled a face.

"Oh don't tell me you did, do you know how much time I spent on all your sets, some serious man hours went into each and every one of you." Amanomahitotsu spoke, the guilds blacksmith being the main reason every members gear was as good as it could be, as he had slaved away for hour in the forging menu and the forges of Nazarick refining countless rare materials into the divine class gear that adorned each member, it was worth more then just petty gold.

"Don't worry I know, all your gear is safe in the treasury, just gotta get some rings." Momonga spoke as he took out eighteen of the thirty-nine spare 'ring of Ainz ooal gown' that he had on him, normally teleportation is completely blocked inside the tomb, but possession of these rings allowed one to teleport at all and also use other forms of transport like gate.

As he passes the around each member slipped the ring on, except for the two slime members as while they could equip gear while in their basic slime form the gear had no visual, the lore reason the game gave the oversight was that the slime absorbed the magical properties of the item within themselves, they could then reform the item with the magic within them and spit it back out, it was basically just fancy lore talk for slimes being able to equip items like normal and unequip them without breaking any immersion, tho people just thought the devs couldn't be asked to model armors and other cosmetic changes to the slime models.

They all teleported away to the grand treasury in a flash of light and all appeared in the great halls of the most hidden part of the tomb.

It was then Momonga realized something…none of them had seen Pandora's actor, oh god he was now remembering some of the settings he gave him, oh shit hopefully they wouldn't judge him too much…oh who was he kidding Peroroncino and Ulbert would never stop ripping on him, he could picture their combined laughs now.

"Hey who's this?" Punitto Moe asked, pointing a vine arm at Pandora's actor, a doppelganger clothed in an fancy, yellow military uniform.

"O-oh him? Yeah that's Pandora's actor, an npc I made, he guards the treasury, it's no big deal." Momonga spoke, really trying to draw attention away from his npc he was slightly embarrassed about.

"A doppelganger? Great minds think alike eh Momo?" Nishikienrai said in a jovial tone he his own npc was a doppelganger herself, although his was racial build while Narberal was job class based build.

"Dude your npc is barely a doppelganger, she's basically a human without breaking our no human races rule." Mekongawa jabbed at his good friend, even outside the virtual world.

"Wha? Come on that not true, you guys believe me right?" The half golem asked the group, which was met with a look that just screamed 'really'. Nishikienrai just hung his head defeated.

"Well at least I didn't make my npc my ultimate sexual fantasy." Ulbert jabbed snickering as he just personally attacked half the guild members.

There were shouts of protest as they tried to justify their creative decisions, Chagama just gave a look to her brother, who just shrunk under his sister's gaze, he'd never live Shalltear down, not ever.

Eventually they made their way through the treasury, luckily Momonga had managed to dissuade his friends from looking at Pandora's actor too much, although Punitto Moe did ask some more about his build, even the massive battle nerd and strategist he was.

Him and a few others seemed to really get behind the idea that all his doppelganger forms was each member of the guild, getting praise for the npc nut Tabula for him did make him feel quite proud.

They however passed the unsorted section of the treasury where new items were deposited which caused a state of shock to run through the guild.

"Holy shit Momonga where did all this loot come from!" Garnet shouted as he looked over piles of unsorted material a literal mile long.

"Why must you hurt me this way?" Genjiro asked as he looked over the piles of unsorted materials, alchemical components right on top of unsmelted ore, the organization was feeling literal pain looking at it.

"A-ah, that we'll with the player base basically zero now I've been able to claim mines and other resource gathering buildings all over the nine realms, so for the past year we've had a constant income of materials, it's way too much to sort, after all we added all those income bonuses to the treasury so it's been too much to sort, I'm not as skilled as you are Genjiro." Momonga spoke slightly embarrassed, they now had an immense stockpile of high level material, from fine herbs for Tabula's alchemy to all the precious metals and other crafting materials Amanomahitotsu could ever want.

If Genjiro had time he'd love to fully sort all this, as collecting loot was one thing he loved to do, a combined effort from Genjiro, Nearata and Amanomahitotsu in collecting, processing, selling and stockpiling loot had been a backbone of Ainz ooal gown ever since the formation of the guild, while he had a lesser part to play in the general operation Tabula also made many contributions via his alchemy, a divine quality potion always came in handy both as something to sell for profit and to use in battle.

"Nah it's cool, it doesn't bother me, it doesn't bother me, it doesn't bother me…ok it bothers me a lot!" Genjiro yelled as he looked at the utter mess of items, the problem was Genjiro had a bit of an OCD streak when it came to sorting the treasury, he was one of the main contributors when building the thing and built their whole sorting system, which, trust me, you needed as a top guild who had thousands upon thousands of items and gold in the low trillions.

"Gen,chill man." Nearata said, patting him on the shoulder as the pathological organizer took a breath.

Eventually they reached the part of the treasury Momonga had dubbed the 'mausoleum' it contained rows of statues dedicated to each member come and gone, outfitted with their equipment, it was a true testament to every one of them, they each had a resounding collective thought at the display.

"Is Momonga…okay?" They all deeply treasured their friendship with their guildmaster, always willing to help, talk and generally hold the guild together like glue, he also had the most hours clocked out of all of them, he practically lived in Yggdrasil, they were deeply concerned about just what Yggdrasil was to Momonga, because it seemed like it had become Momonga's whole life, and after tonight it would all be gone, stripped away as the servers were wiped, they were all concerned if he would be okay after losing all that, and they were all the more glad for showing up today.

They all collected their gear from the admittedly shoddy looking statues they all teleported back to the meeting room to continue catching up, reminiscing about old stories and moments from their years of playing, a whole half an hour was spent recalling the raid to take the great tomb, multiple five man squads all assembled by Punitto Moe tackled the raid together and won it on the first try, even with some screw ups, Punitto was apparently still annoyed at Nishikienrai trying to copy a 100 plus year old meme about some dude called Leyroy Jankins was it? Eh, something like that, the point is he almost ruined the raid with his daredevil antics and Punitto was still pretty salty about it.

Momonga felt amazing looking over his friends in their divine class gear again, such as Touch-Me in the shining silver armor befitting his title of 'world champion'.

Blue Planet, ever the nature and astronomy lover he was, played a Satyr astromancer with some spec in geomancy, with similar cloven hooves as Ulberts avatar a furred body along with a large beard and wild hair, he wore pitch black armor over his legs but if you looked closely you could see stars and lights on its surface, Blue Planet had gone through great pains to gather the dark star metals needed to craft his set but there was no better material for armor used by an astromancer.

He chest was covered in a deep blue tunic attached to a medium size robe that only reached the middle of his back that too was a dark blue but shone with imbued starlight he wore gauntlets made of the same material as his hoof armor and he finished his armor set with two silver bands slipped over his horns each encrusted with shining silver gems. He also carried a great staff made of fine, natural looking wood and encompassed a shining orb that shone with a soft silver light, like a star itself, it was almost like the staff had been grown to encompass the gem and not forged.

He also wore a blade at his hip, made of the same dark star metal that allowed it to gain stats from his astromancy job levels and magical attack stat. He looked like a wise old star sage that would tell you to turn back lest you anger the stars and forest.

He then looked over to Garnet, who played as an automaton gunslinger much like his npc CZ Delta. He wore a wide brimmed tattered brown hat that shadowed his mechanical face which comprised of a mechanical bird like face not unlike that of a plague doctor, two slits in the 'beak' where a normal bird skull had them being vents for the steam Garnet released every 30 or so seconds, most of the rest of his body was covered in a long brown trench coat that was tattered at the bottom that only showed his feat, both being metallic with multiple moving parts like servos that moves and adjusted on occasion.

Under the coat it was much of the same, a purely metal body with multiple moving parts alongside red lights across the body. As one of the new major races added in the Yggdrasil 1.5 update the automaton worked different then most, outside gear did little to enhance their stats, mainly just defensive boosts and instead they worked off of 'components' multiple robotic parts that enhanced their stats instead like different types of fuel cores, targeting systems and other mechanical parts that built up Garnet's stats, allowing some additional creative freedom with an automaton players outside appearance.

While inside Garnets coat was a small arsenal consisting of two handgun, multiple bombs and grenades plus some magazines, some normal while others specialized, there were many in and outs of the gunner class, such as gun parts, attachments and ammo types, it's what originally drew the gimmick lover to the class. There was his light agile and fast handgun with an infinite ammo magazine, which did mean it didn't need reloading but could not be outfitted with special ammunition, which he of course called taxes, because they were infinite and wouldn't stop for anything, then the hefty hand cannon that did colossal damage and would even one-shot some mobs if the right ammo was load, which was dubbed, death.

The two together being a reference to a quote said by the famous 18th century scientist Benjamin Franklin, which he said were the only two certain things in this world. and if one saw the world of 2138 you would definitely say he was right, as the two things only held a tighter grip on the world of today.

Of course he had many other weapons to wield inside his inventory, each more devastating then the last.

Next he looked at Nearata, not only the appraisal and merchant specialist but also their chief naval commander, who held strategic command over all Yggdrasil quests at sea, even over the likes of Punitto Moe.

The Naval aspect of Yggdrasil was a love hate relationship with the community, either you loved the naval parts of the game and focused on them entirely or hated it and didn't so much as step foot in the sea areas of the game, the opinion of Ainz ooal gown was pretty mixed but none loved it more then Nearata, as irl he was a massive lover of naval history, so he pretty much handled everything in the seas of the nine realms.

He was sporting a drenched naval coat covered in barnacles, bits of loose seaweed and was very tattered at the base, the most striking thing about his character however was the full tentacled face, almost like a beard of writhing tentacles the back of his head even had a part that looked like an octopus, it was a slightly unnerving look, like his face had fused with an octopus. He wore more soaked and tattered clothing like a belt and trousers that sported even more barnacles, on his feet he had two damp boots that were seemingly falling apart, he was questioned if he ever felt like going full peg leg but apparently it gave a major debuff to his agility which he didn't like.

His hands were wet and slightly slimed from his race and he even had tentacles hidden in both sleeves that could perform attacks, he had a cutlass at his hip, again it looked just as weathered and covered in seawater as the rest of him and even some rust, but the gear was top grade as it was made of 'cursed sea gods steel', while it wasn't the most potent of all materials it gave massive bonuses while at sea as well and other useful boosts so there was no better material for Nearata's gear. He also wore six flintlock pistols, two on either hip and four across his chest, as the guns did immense damage even Garnet would struggle to match with his hand cannon but they took a while to reload so the multiple guns helped with that.

To finish off Nearata's pirate look he wore a classic looking pirate hat, covered in barnacles and soaked with seawater like the rest of his gear, all of which were made from the unique, 'drowned soul rags' that could only be obtained from the limited time 'dead men's tales' event, there was no higher quality armor for a naval Yggdrasil player and Nearata went through great pains to get enough for an entire set. His ability to contend with even the purely naval focused guilds to collect material that could not be obtained on land combined with his appraisal levels and merchant levels were invaluable for Ainz ooal gown, as with all his bonuses he could end up selling items for a higher value then anyone else could and it was purely thanks to his efforts that such vast wealth had been amassed by the guild.

Beast Lord Mekongawa was next, someone who had joined the guild mainly because Nishikienrai had recommended him and as both Nishikienrai's friend and a guild leader looking to add to his number he wasn't opposed to the idea.

Mekongawa admittedly had little in terms of obvious armor, as he gained many bonuses from his racial levels for having little armor. Mekongawa actually had a build that focused mostly on his racial abilities but backed up by some monk levels, the large lion like beastman was a paragon of aggression in battle, preferring to rush the enemy and rend them to pieces in moments, it was quite a reckless way to play however as Nishikienrai's close irl friend he should expect similarities between the two, he wore a series of pelts across his body, as a racial skill allowed him to gain extra stats and even skills from wearing the pelts of beasts.

Around his waist was a garb fashioned from the pelt of great god devouring wolf Fenrir, the black fur looking both menacing yet also wonderfully soft. Next were the furred boots, being made of the Kazekami bird, a great falcon that controlled the wind and storms and flew with incredible speed. While the lion man's chest was mostly bare there were a few leather straps running across his chest to affix his two shoulder guards made up of Lord of the north, a great wooly mammoth the size of a mountain, even just the two shoulder guards and the line of fur running across his back granted immense resistance to even 10th tier frost magic, not to mention incredible physical defense and a myriad of other elements and statuses.

And finally arm and hand wraps made from the 'beast with no form', a doppelganger esk beast that could change its shape and method of attack to any number of legendary beasts. multiple raids and some serious effort went into cherry picking the best legendary beasts to hunt for Mekongawa's gear, it was worth it though, like Nishikienrai his playstyle was reckless sure, but that didn't matter much when everything in front of him that didn't have endgame raid boss level health and defense was torn to ribbons. Looking at Mekongawa, the title of Beast King in his username wasn't undeserved.

He then looked at Genjiro. Like Touch-Me Genjiro was an insectoid race, although like Touch-Me it was not immediately obvious as Genjiro face was mostly obscured as he wore a dark hood that seemed to create black smoke that permanently hid his face but if you saw past it you would see the striking visage of a death shadow spiderkin, a sight that would make any arachnophobe run for the hills. His entire visage was veiled by light black cloth and weightless black metals that made up his armor, covering his armor was manner of tools, throwing knifes seemingly made of different metals and various pouches that contained all manner of tools, however his gloves and feet left open parts for his palms and clawed feet.

Why? Well Genjiro was the guilds main thief, while Nishikienrai was a rogue of the damage variety, taking class levels in ninja and other jobs to constantly slip in and out of stealth to deal sneak attack after sneak attack to dish out damage at such a level it surpassed any physical attacker in the guild Genjiro was of the thief variety, lockpicking magically warded chests, disarming traps, debilitating and disrupting the enemy with all manner of debuffs and underhanded tactics. The open palms and feet were specifically so he could stick to surfaces and due to his racial traits, so many people forget to booby trap the ceiling you know.

The black smoke his armor released meant that Genjiro looked more like a phantom or some type of undead then an insectoid race, which was part of his strategy, he'd been in pvp many a time and some idiot had tried using specifically anti undead spells and weapons against him, only for it to do nothing.

Genjiro also had a bit of a kleptomania streak, they'd often come back to the guild and find that the treasury had a large selection of new items perfectly sorted and some pissed off 'humans only' guild demanding they hand back all their loot as Genjiro had used hacks to steal it all. Of course that was ridiculous and Genjiro had expertly slipped past every defense their guild base had and taken everything of value without anyone being the wiser, guy always got a real kick out of it too, and as the treasury swelled with the efforts of his little hobby the rest of Ainz ooal gown couldn't be happier, he had even stolen one of the world items the guild had come to possess, with made one thing perfectly clear. Whatever was Genjiro's, was Genjiro's and what's yours was also Genjiro's.

Momonga then looked at Whitebrim. He was honestly surprised to see the manga artist here, he knew he was taking a break right now as he kept up with the releases of the guildmates manga but he thought he'd be on holiday or just relaxing, but he supposed Whitebrim had always said he likes to play Yggdrasil to take breaks.

The manga artist's avatar was a kitsune, shown by the white fox ears and tail, he wore a fancy kimono white pockets filled with fancy brushes and bottles of ink.

Artistry was Whitebrims truest passion, it was little surprise that he played the celestial artist archetype, that used the power of a celestial brush supplies with ink to use abilities similar to spells, by drawing seals and marks in the air with the brush Whitebrim could invoke multiple different effects such as healing, unique buffs only avaliable to his class and potent attacks. This class had downsides however, you couldn't use a spell list like they did, you specifically had to remember the seals and draw then correctly while in combat, the trade off was that the 'spells' were incredibly potent, cost little manner and offered versatility not given to any other single caster class, of course Momonga's incredibly wide range of spells did beat it out.

Sadly, despite the many advantages of the celestial brush archetype, it was barley played, people just couldn't overcome its disadvantages. But not everyone was Whitebrim, his artistic talent and eagle eyebrow detail made him the best celestial brush user in the entire game, a fact he was very proud of, the recognition of his username and pen name Whitebrim was very helpful on drawing attention to his manga when it was first published even. Whitebrim could fit into many party to fill a support or caster dps role, a tactical flexibility you know Punitto took full advantage of.

Aside from the kimono Whitebrim wore other types of jewelry, although every player wore some series of rings aside their 'ring of Ainz ooal gown' like a golden jeweled headband that kept his snow white hair in a ponytail and some golden jeweled studs in his fox ears, he also wore some geta sandals.

As his fox tail waged idly it's black tip seems to leave lines of ink in the air that quickly dissipated, his ears also possessed the same black tips.

Before Momonga could take in the appearance of anyone else a loud voice cut through the idle chatter, although it sounded a bit rough.

"Man, that a fucking ride it all was, oh shit, you know what we should do, hang out in the throne room, we never did get to have our last stand there ya know." Ulbert spoke out as he lent back in his chair, the avatars cloven hooves resting on the table.

There were resounding levels of agreement from everyone. However Momonga picked up on Herohero's groans of exhaustion, damn, hebwas overworked again and clearly exhausted but still came on anyway.

"Herohero, you okay? If you're too tired from work you can log off and get some sleep, we won't mind." Momonga said to the black ooze.

"Ah, you're always looking out for me Momonga, don't worry, it's my first day off in five weeks tomorrow, so I can sleep all I want after the shutdown, I can last a bit longer." Herohero said, happy his guild leader was still looking out for him, Herohero always came on when he could but as his work life started to ramp up more and more his ability to play and contribute dwindled, but Momonga and other more active players always helped out my farming items he needed for him, they truly cared about his well being too, giving him slack if he had to cancel last minute, he'd miss them all, truly.

As the large group made it outside the room and towards the throne room looking over the lavish halls of Nazarick, everyone showered Whitebrim with compliments, as a lot of the interior design was thanks to him, he sometimes mentioned he had a degree in architecture along with art, but while working as a architect may have been better paying art was Whitebrims truest passion, although he often enjoyed combining the two in Yggdrasil, proven by the many beautiful rooms in Nazarick.

"Hey the Pleiades!" Yamiko spoke, the lathe Nephilim looking at the six battle maids that were meant to be the last line of defense before the throne room, standing at attendance with their leader Sebas, head butler and creation of Touch-Me.

"Man Brim you really don't half ass anything do ya, their uniforms all look amazing." Garnet spoke as he looked at CZ, his own npc.

"Well of course I don't, after all!" Whitebrim spoke smugly and before he could shout his words of wisdom the entire guild cut him off.

"Maid uniforms are justice. Yes we know." they all repeated, all quite used to Whitebrims catchphrase at this point. All of them chuckled at his dejected look as they stole the wind from his sails.

"Let's have them join us, may as well. Shame we never got to see them actually defend anything from a raid." Momonga spoke as he looked at them.

"Yeah well the furthest anyone got is Victim, Luci really was a mad genius for thinking that one up." Warrior Takemikazuchi said as he recalled Luci*Fer's npc Victim, a level 30 npc literally designed to die, but upon death it would release a wide aoe debuff that was cataclysmic to have inflicted, it was the final barrier that stopped the great 1,500 player and npc raid on Nazarick, with the surviving members of the raid party inflicted with Victims debuff 25 members of Ainz ooal gown engaged the rest of the raid party in pvp lead by Punitto and Momonga and it was a slaughter, to this day Ulbert held the games record for most players killed with a single spell by casting a 10th tier aoe spell at the raid party. Luci*Fer loved his tricks more so then even Ulbert and Victim was his ultimate one.

"Let's see. Follow." Momonga spoke to the seven npc's as they all bowed and followed behind the collection of players.

They reached the throne room, Momonga pushing open the great doors of black stone, showing the seat of Ainz ooal gown's power.

The throne of kings that sat in the center of the room was in fact a world item. Awarded when they had conquered the tomb, it's effect was not very unique but nonetheless powerful, when the guild leader of the guild the throne was assigned to was sitting in it he could view all floors and areas of the guild base, despite the any scrying magic and other information gathering magic nullification and blockers in place, it also gave a 15% buff to all assigned guild member and npc stats inside the tomb and a 10% decrease to anyone not a part of the assigned guild, plus it reduced the effects of healing and resurrection magic by 25%. It was truly a throne worthy of a king defending his castle, the ownership of this world item and the gauntlet of powerful level 100 npc's all but guaranteed the successful defense of Nazarick during an attack, but Punitto also said never to be complacent when it came to pvp, he'd been right enough times for everyone to take his words to heart.

When they looked up at the 41 flags displayed in the throne room they all felt pride, this was theirs, their magnum opus, the efforts of forty one friends working in tandem to create something beautiful, many of them wondered why they ever quit.

Until they saw one flag.

Bellriver

A beloved member of the guild and someone who everyone got along with, he had spoken a few times about how he was a freelance journalist and had said a few times about how he was looking into some shady goings on with a megacorporation. Then one day that he was gone. No email, no message on the guild group text no nothing, Bellriver just dropped off the face of the earth, never heard from again, knowing what they did, everyone could assume what happened, he'd gotten too close, been asking too many questions and had been dealt with, it hit everyone hard, that's when the first member quit, Blue Planet still held great shame that he was the first member to quit Yggdrasil, but Bellriver had been his closest friend and for him to be gone sent Blue Planet into a deep depression, he had to get away, everything in Nazarick reminded him of Bellriver so for his own mental health he left, after that it was one member after the other, when it rained it poured and eventually Momonga was left as the only active member.

"Bellriver." Blue Planet muttered, he still missed his best friend, an avid fan of nature and one that despised how the greed of humanity had killed their beautiful world, he wished he could have seen the stars with his real eyes with him, not some video or vr program.

So as Momonga sat down upon the throne and looked around the room he finally took notice of Albedo, one of Tabula's three npc's.

"Hey Albedo, still keeping an eye on things it seems, man I really did great work with her and her sisters, I've written quite a few characters but these three are probably still my favorite." Tabula spoke as he walked up to her and looked her over, she was incredibly beautiful, but she was a succubus so that should be expected.

"Say Tabula I haven't actually looked at her settings, knowing you it's probably like a whole short story." Momonga spoke as he used the staff of Ainz ooal gown, their glorious guild weapon to open her console and view her settings.

"Woah man I really forgot that I went this hard with her lore and background." Tabula spoke as he looked at the 10k words that made up Albedo's flavor text.

Momonga skimmed to the bottom, now having Chagama, Peroroncino, Garnet, Ulbert and Nishikienrai looking over his shoulder at Tabula's obsessive npc building. They all saw a line that shocked them, totally out of left field.

"She's also a slut?" Momonga repeated as he and the other five looked at him.

"W-well she's a succubus. I thought I should add something like that ya know, honestly it's pretty shallow to just just add a line like that, change it if you want." Tabula spoke, honestly forgetting he added that, he didn't like the stare the featureless blob that was Chagama's avatar was giving him, she was probably thinking of ripping into him as she did her brother when he did something stupid.

"I swear all of you just made npc's to be your fetish dream girls." Chagama mumbled as she moved away to chat with Yamiko, the only other woman present so she didn't have to deal with any perverted nonsense.

"Hey I got an idea." Ulbert said, chuckling as he used the message ability to send Momonga something private.

"U-ulbert i-i can't do that." Momonga stuttered, clearly quite shocked at whatever he suggested.

"Awwww come onnnnn, it's not like it'll matter in half an hour." Ulbert spoke, trying to talk Momonga into it.

Only for Ulbert to snatch the staff from Momonga and change it himself.

"See there." Ulbert said, handing the staff back, looking proud of himself.

Both Tabula and Momonga looked at her code to sew instead of the words 'she's a bit of a slut' it now read 'she is deeply in love with Momonga'.

"Ulbert!" Tabula shouted as he chased the goat demon around the throne room, clearly quite pissed, seeing that Ulbert was up to his regular antics Touch-Me tackled the laughing goat to the ground.

"Alright I yield, I yield. Hahahahaha." Ulbert said laughing as Touch-Me just looked at him and shook his head as the rest of the guild bore smiles at the display. Over two years since so many of them had been together like this and nothing had changed it seemed.

"Dammit Ulbert you don't mess with other members npc that's literally a rule we all agreed on, how would you feel if I change Demiurge so he likes musicals and charity work." Touch-Me me spoke at the chuckling goat which shut him up instantly.

"Woah woah woah. Okay okay, it's only a harmless joke just change it back jeez." Ulbert said, not wanting anyone to change his npc, he put a lot of work into him, it was only one line after all.

"Nah, because it is pretty funny." Momonga spoke chuckling with the other members of the guild, it was kinda embarrassing to have one of the npc's technically be 'deeply in love' with him, but it was just some flavor text that would be erased soon so what did it really matter.

"Man, it was fun though. Good and bad, all of it." Momonga spoke out loud as he looked over all his friends here with him, he wished he could have done this with all 41 members of the guild but this, having so many of them here, was everything. For the first time in a long time Momonga was truly happy again.

"Sure was, weird to think this all started with me saving you from a PK." Touch-Me spoke, remembering how him and Momonga met, some higher level human players ganking Momonga purely for being a non-human race, then Touch-Me me swooped in and cut them all down and gave some grand speech about justice, they'd been friends ever since, it was still a fond memory for the both of them.

The final minutes were coming up down, everyone talking about the best times they shared, bittersweet memories that even though they would all be erased in game, they would stay with the people who created them and Ainz ooal gown forever, there was some solace in that.

"Maybe if they make a Yggdrasil 2 and we all actually have free time god willing we can play again, make it so in both games, Ainz ooal gown is a name everyone knows and fears." Punitto said to them all, which got some laughs and smiles, unlikely, as soon enough the real world would consume them, it was only a matter of when, not if.

The final minute approached.

"It was amazing building all of this with you, it truly is my masterpiece, this place. I wish I could show all my readers." Whitebrim spoke which got agreement from everyone, quite a few saying they'll keep reading his manga and how much they were enjoying certain plot points only to have Garnet and Nearata yell 'Spoiler!' At them which got a good laugh.

"Man I wish we could have gone on a whole tour, seen all of our npc's. Would have liked to check in on Demiurge that suave bastard." Ulbert spoke, they all agreed, at least some of them got to see their npc's the final time.

"Yeah I would have loved to visit the twins one last time." Bukubukuchagama said in her classic high pitched voice, she wanted to see her adorable little Aura and Mare.

"You think we should do something like this again but irl I know the whole don't meet people online irl rule but it would suck if I never spoke to you guys again." Nishikienrai said, while some were hesitant, all seemed pretty up for the idea.

"You can even introduce us to that pretty missus of yours, eh, Touch-Me." Nishikienrai spoke, as Touch-Me had mentioned how he was married to a beautiful woman quite a few times, he seemed really lucky.

Touch-Me me looked away for a second, an odd body language about him but he just chuckled and answered. "Sure, after all she's asked me about you lot so much it feels weird you've never interacted at all, she's always asking how I put up with Ulbert." Touch-Me me said, sounding a bit off.

"It's a shame we could never finish my sword eh Hitotsu." Warrior Takemikazuchi spoke to the guild blacksmith.

"Yeah, I feel like we were close though. It would have been fun to see you and Touch-Me me go at it again if we had time." Amanomahitotsu spoke as he recalled Takemikazuchi asking him to help in making the greatest sword ever forged by a player in order to help him best Touch-Me in a duel.

"Man we really did duels a lot back in the day, would have liked to do one again." Touch-Me spoke, recalling his fierce rivalry with Takemikazuchi and how he would constantly duel him in order to claim victory, he was honestly quite sad Takemikazuchi had never once bested him, he worked so hard trying to beat him and upgrade his ultimate sword.

"Man we really were on top of the world, the pvp guild every player was afraid of." Nearata said it was an amazing feeling to be some of the best players in such a huge game, and it was fun, clashing with all the human only guilds and playing the part of the ultimate guild of monsters, awakened from their dark tomb to bring devastation.

"Honestly, doing this with you all has been what I've lived for. So here at the end I can finally say it, if only to myself. I love you all, each and every one of you, with all your quirks and even the annoying stuff, I will forever treasure what we made and built with our own hands. These memories…mean more to me then you could ever know." Momonga thought in the last moments he didn't know if he would be alright when it was all gone but, right here, right now, he was truly happy again, and the memories of everyone laughing and smiling could never be replaced, not by anything.

"Urrrrr, wasn't the server supposed to shut down?" Punitto Moe said out loud as they all looked around in confusion.

"Umm. Pardon my ignorance my lords. But what's a server?" A female voice that wasn't Chagama or Yamaiko said, all nineteen members of Ainz ooal gown turned to see Albedo looking at them all with a confused look on her face, wings fidgeting nervously.

"What the fuck?"

And boom that's where we'll end the first chapter. I know most of this one was a lot of the supreme being talking and a significant part of just talking about the OCish characters and their appearance. Not to worry we'll get into some of the guild kicking ass next time.

As always please comment, review and tell me your thoughts.

Ps do you think I should do some stuff with Bellriver or have him stay dead?

This chapter is also going out with a second one that will contain the character sheets and some additional info on the characters.

Also for anyone wondering about my Naruto fanfic it is still being worked on I just have major Overlord Adhd brain rot rn so I wrote this.
