Outside the school...

Queen Bee walked away from Bakugo, feeling so hot and embarrassed. She had to get away from everyone, especially Midoriya and Uraraka.

"Queen Bee, where are you going? You can't leave the school without permission," Ladybug said to her.

"Please, Ladybug," Queen Bee said to her as she whipped her head to face her, "I just need some space."

Queen Bee didn't even notice that she was starting to cry. Tears fell down her face and mask, and Ladybug let her go.

Queen Bee headed out of the school with Midoriya and Uraraka letting Ladybug know what was going on. She could hear her name in the background as she exited the gym and out of the school.

In that moment, she couldn't wait to get out of this hero costume. Once she stepped outside, she detransformed. Suddenly a Kwami appeared right in front her, and she held it gently.

"Aww. Don't be sad, my Queen," Pollen said to her as she floated up to her face to wipe her tears, "I'm sure Katsuki didn't mean to keep secrets from you. You're his friend after all."

Chloe walked away from the school and along the side of the wall. She stopped and leaned up against it. Soon enough, she found herself sitting down on the ground.

She kept thinking about Bakugo, and how much he meant to her. She had never had a friend like him before. She had someone like Adrien for a long time, but then she noticed that her and Adrien weren't exactly close. Then there was Sabrina. She wasn't even really a friend. If anything, she treated her pretty poorly.

Then she realized that Bakugo was the only one in that group of heroes in training that she was going to miss. Sure she'd miss Midoriya, and maybe Uraraka. But not like him.

Tears soon came back and there was no stopping them.

"My Queen. Please don't cry," Pollen said with sad eyes.

"I just can't believe I didn't even realize that he'll be leaving soon. I actually thought that for a moment that..." Chloe said as she held her legs close to her.

Pollen touched her arm with such ease that it made Chloe feel a little bit better.

"Katsuki is leaving. When he said that he might stay, I actually got excited for a moment. He's someone that I actually like talking to and hanging out with. And now... he's just going to leave that all behind."

Chloe didn't even bother wiping her face as more tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Pollen... I think I'm falling in love with him..."

All of a sudden, Chloe heard some footsteps around the corner. She quickly looked up to see Bakugo standing there. He looked so dumbfounded and speechless that Chloe could tell right away that he heard her talking to Pollen. His cheeks were even turning red, which made her cheeks turn red as well.

"Kat-Katsuki, wh-what're you doing here?" Chloe asked him as she wiped her tears away.

"I-I... th-thought I should check on you, but maybe I should just leave. You look like you need some space," Bakugo said, still feeling flustered.

He was about to walk away, but Chloe quickly got up and grabbed his wrist. Bakugo stopped right there, and Chloe was really nervous to say anything to him. Pollen just floated next to her, worried for her holder.

"Katsuki, I... I need to talk to you," Chloe said to him without looking at him, "Please..."

Bakugo didn't say anything as he stood there, not moving from his spot. Chloe didn't even let go of his wrist as they both stood there together. After a while, Bakugo and Chloe decided to go for a walk down the street.

It was quiet between the two of them. Bakugo and Chloe barely even looked at each other as Chloe noticed him kicking a pebble on the sidewalk. She side glanced at him and noticed how soft and lost his eyes looked. He looked like he didn't know what to say to her either, which actually kind of helped her feel better.

"Katsuki... I have to know... Did you hear anything back there...?" Chloe asked him.

Bakugo didn't even look at her as she kept glancing back at him. She really had to know, she couldn't talk to him without knowing if he heard her or not.

"I might've heard you talking to your Kwami a little bit," Bakugo mumbled back as he scratched the back of his head.

Chloe felt her face heat up even more, feeling so embarrassed right then and there. She really wished that she didn't go talk to him earlier. At least that would've stopped her from blabbing about how much she likes him.

"I really didn't think you'd show up. I was just upset with you, and the fact that you're leaving soon. It just made me really upset, and I might've said some things that maybe I didn't mean," Chloe said, rambling a little bit.

"You really don't have to explain yourself," Bakugo said back.

Chloe stopped in her tracks, and Bakugo stepped in front of her. She noticed that he was still having trouble looking at her, but could still tell that he was keeping something from her.

"Katsuki, when you said that you might be staying here in Paris, I was kind of excited. I thought, maybe we could hero train together a lot more and hang out as heroes. Then... you said to everyone that you were going back to Japan. I felt bad for feeling this way because Japan is your home," Chloe said to him.

Bakugo didn't say anything. She kind of wished that he would say something to stop her from talking even if she wanted to talk to him in the first place. She could barely look at him ever since he heard her say something embarrassing. And then she remembered why she was crying in the first place. He was keeping something from her, and she really wanted to know what it was. She could almost feel tears coming up again.

"And then, I found out from Izuku and Ochaco that you might be keeping something from all of us. The fact that you're keeping something from me makes me wonder what it could possibly be."

She couldn't take it anymore and put her hands on his forearm.

"Please, Katsuki. Please tell me what it is. I thought that we were friends and that you trusted me," Chloe said to him, "There's something going on with your hero training, I know it. Is it your quirk?"

That made Bakugo look at her, and he even flinched a little. She looked into his eyes, noticing something different about the way he was looking at her. He took his hands out of his pockets and was looking around for something or someone.

"Chloe. I want to tell you, but I can't. This is something I have to do by myself," Bakugo tried to explain, "If you really want to stop and defeat Chrysalis and HawkMoth, you need to trust me on this one. Deku and Uraraka are being targeted by them. If they get through to Japan, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself."

Chloe could see that he really wanted to tell her, but he couldn't because Chrysalis could be watching them. She felt really bad that she couldn't do anything about it. If she couldn't know about what he was planning on doing, then she had to know something else.

"Katsuki. Are you sure about this? I really don't want you getting hurt since you don't have your quirk anymore," Chloe said to him.

Chloe noticed that what she just said to him made Bakugo flinch a little. Her eyes widened, but she realized that maybe she should be more careful with Chrysalis around.

"Don't worry about it. I think I can handle Chrysalis and HawkMoth now," Bakugo growled with a smirk on his face, "Even if I didn't my quirk, I still have my Miraculous. I definitely have a better handle of my Miraculous than I did a couple days ago."

Chloe was really happy for him that he finally got a handle of his Miraculous. She just wished that he would've let her help him. She would've totally helped a lot with his hero training, which made her a little upset again.

"I only didn't get you involved not because I didn't trust you, but because Chrysalis could be anywhere. I don't want her to hurt anyone else and that includes you," Bakugo said to her with serious eyes.

Chloe felt herself reach out for his hand, but was hesitant. She soon noticed that she was distancing herself from him, but she didn't want to do that anymore. She grabbed his hand and gently caressed it. She could tell that he was still sweating from training, but she didn't mind. It meant that he was working hard for all of them. And her.

Then Chloe felt him try to pull away from her, but she held tightly onto his hand. She noticed him blushing and trying to get away from that feeling. She really wanted to be with him, even if it was just for a little bit.

"I'm not good as this sort of thing... Please say something, Katsuki," Chloe said to him.

Their eyes locked onto one another, and she could tell that he was trying to avoid her. Chloe could tell that he really didn't like her the same way that she did. He wouldn't even look at her. She got really upset and let go of his hand.

"I-I'm sorry. I just thought that maybe since you heard me back there that you might feel the same way," Chloe said to him, "But maybe we should just... head back to the school."

Before Chloe could leave him to go back, she felt Bakugo grab her wrist. The next thing she knew she was standing so close to him that they were mere inches away from their faces. She suddenly felt herself heating up so much that she thought smoke was coming off of her. All she could look at was Bakugo's red eyes. Usually they looked serious and harsh, but this time his eyes looked soft and vulnerable.

"Chloe, I... I'm not good at this kind of stuff, but I--"

Chloe then found herself kissing him. She felt himself kiss her back and wrapped his arms around her waist. He pulled her in closer, making her wrap her arms around his neck. She felt herself smiling as she kissed him back. Bakugo's sweat started to get onto her, but she didn't care. She was just so happy that she finally had the nerve to kiss him finally.

She could tell that he was enjoying it since he kept kissing her. His grip tightened around her, and she pulled him in closer. She could tell that he still wanted to be gentle with her, but he really liked it.

Once they finally separated from each other, Chloe noticed Bakugo smiling.

"I should've done that when we went on our first date," Bakugo said under his breath.

Chloe couldn't look away from him as he stared at her. She had never noticed how handsome he was until just now. She still felt hot, but it seemed to not bother her this time around. Then he reached up and wiped a tear off of her face. She never even noticed that she was crying again.

"Katsuki, what does this mean? I thought you were leaving Paris," Chloe said under her breath.

Bakugo didn't answer her right away, which Chloe didn't blame him. He had something planned for Chrysalis and HawkMoth, and she didn't want to get in the way of that. He took her hand and held it gently in his, surprising even him.

"I-I'm not very good at these sort of things," Bakugo said to her with a slight blush.

Chloe felt her chuckle at how ridiculous they were together.

"Ye-Yeah. I'm not either," Chloe said back.

Bakugo felt the need to give her some space. He even looked like he snapped out of it and didn't realize what he was doing or saying.

"Wha-What the hell am I doing? I-I ju-just kissed you!" Bakugo cried out, looking all flustered and red in the face, "An-And I... I liked it...!"

He kept brushing his hair so vigorously to get his head on straight.

"Katsuki... It's okay," Chloe said back to him.

Chloe felt her cheeks turn red from the heat she was feeling just now. Him standing so close to her definitely felt really good and made her smile.

"I don't mind... I kind of liked it, too."

Bakugo stopped what he was doing, but his face was still a red hot mess. Chloe then noticed how big of a mess they both were and couldn't help but laugh. That seemed to bring him out of it, but he was still confused as to why she was laughing.

"What the hell is so funny?" Bakugo asked her.

"Us. You and me. We're kind of a mess, but I kind of like it," Chloe said back, "It's kind of cute. Clearly we've both been through a lot..."

Chloe walked up to him and took his hand nice and tightly. It was Bakugo's turn to chuckle, and he smirked at her with such soft eyes.

"Yeah. Clearly. I just don't understand why you like me," Bakugo said to her, "I mean, I'm not exactly a dating kind of guy."

Chloe smiled at him, but could tell that he never really did this sort of thing before.

"Well, I've just always noticed how strong you are. Ever since I rejoined Ladybug's team, I started noticing some things about you. How hard you work to become a hero. I've never seen someone work as hard as you do. It made me feel a lot better about rejoining Ladybug's team. I'd say it kind of inspired me to start hero training some more," Chloe tried to explain to him, "And I kind of like it. It felt really good."

Bakugo couldn't help but give her a smirk. She even noticed that she made him blush a little. He even seemed to gain a bit more confidence in himself.

"Yeah? Well, I've been working out a lot more lately," Bakugo teased.

Chloe laughed, making her tear up from laughing so hard. She hadn't had this much fun in a while.

"I might've noticed that. Maybe just a little," Chloe said as a subtle blush came over her, "It's definitely one of things that I fell for."

Chloe then instantly stopped herself and covered her mouth. She felt so embarrassed in that moment and just wanted to run off and hide in a corner. She looked at Bakugo, and he looked like he was trying to avoid that particular moment. The moment where she said to Pollen that she's falling for him.

Bakugo still felt awkward about this whole thing and felt a little uncomfortable about it. Chloe could tell and felt like they should start heading back to the school.

"Maybe we should... head back," Chloe said to him.

"Wha-What? O-Oh yeah," Bakugo said a little nervously.

Chloe and Bakugo headed back in awkward in silence. Things were still feeling good between them, they just didn't know how to go about this sort of thing. Chloe wanted to date him, but she still didn't quite know if he was into that. They went on a date, but that didn't mean that he wanted to actually be boyfriend and girlfriend with her. All she could think about was that kiss. How absolutely amazing it felt to touch him.

To feel his warmth all around her.

She actually felt safer around him.

"So, what are you planning on doing? You know, after we defeat Chyrsalis and HawkMoth," Chloe asked him.

For a long minute, Bakugo didn't say anything. They both just walked back to the school in silence. She didn't mind waiting considering they just shared a kiss.

"I don't know."

Chloe looked at him, surprised to see him say something like that. She could tell that he was someone that always had a plan.

"I usually just kind of thought about becoming the number one hero back in Japan, but things just feel so different now," Bakugo said to her, "Ever since I came here and met Ladybug and Cat Noir, I've just noticed things here that are better. Less stress and more enjoyable things. There are even less heroes here so that means the heroes are more important. I actually don't even mind having you around. You don't annoy me like you used to which is crazy to even think about."

Chloe felt a little embarrassed about it, but couldn't blame him. She wasn't exactly a welcome greeting card when they all got here, especially to Midoriya.

"Right now, I just want to defeat Chrysalis and HawkMoth."

Chloe looked down, a little upset that he didn't even mention her. Then she felt his hand try to hold hers. She noticed, but he looked hesitant and nervous. She smiled and took it into hers.

"It's okay, Katsuki. I get it. We'll just see where this takes us," Chloe said back.

Chloe could feel him shaking, and she held in her laugh as they made their towards the school. Once they got close enough, Chloe felt him stop in his tracks. She looked back at him and noticed him sweating a lot. His face was even redder than usual.

"Katsuki, what just happened?" Chloe asked him.

"I-I ca-can't go in there," Bakugo said looking like a mess, "Th-They are going to be all over us, especially the girls. I can't deal with that right now."

Chloe walked up to him, noticing how much he was shaking. It almost made him look adorable with how shy he was about this sort of thing.

"It's okay, Katsuki. We don't have to say anything to them," Chloe said to him, "Let's just go there as if nothing's changed."

Nothing had changed in his posture, he still looked really red and nervous. She got closer to him and noticed that he seemed to calm down. Grabbing his hand, she tried to get him to look at her.

"Katsuki. Don't forget about Chyrsalis and HawkMoth. This is why we're doing this," Chloe said to him.

Bakugo seemed to relax after that, and Chloe smiled at him. Bakugo noticed that she was still holding his hand and something about it just felt so soft and warm. He had realized how pretty she looked close up, especially with less makeup. Before he knew it, he felt himself start to lean in to kiss her again.

They were only mere inches away from kissing when someone yelled out their names. They quickly found themselves separated from each other and keeping their distance far apart.

"Hey, Katsuki and Chloe! Come in, hero training is over for the day!" Rena Rouge cried out.

"Ok-Okay. We-We'll be right there!" Chloe cried back.

Rena Rouge then noticed Bakugo and Chloe looking really awkward and stiff together. She gave them a knowing look and went back inside the school. Once she was gone, Bakugo and Chloe were back to having a hard time looking at each other. Chloe really wanted to hold his hand, but she knew that he wouldn't want that sort of thing in front of everyone.

"Come on. Everyone's probably wondering where we are," Chloe said to him.

Bakugo ending up following her back inside, but she could tell that he was nervous. She could tell that he didn't want everyone asking them questions about what went down between them. So she kept her distance and let Bakugo go in after her.

Chloe went inside and noticed that everyone was gathering around for another movie night. Once she entered, Bakugo came in after her looking a little better.

"Hey Chloe," Sabrina said to her as she ran up to her, "Do you want to join us? We're about to watch another movie with everyone."

Chloe looked at Sabrina and then back at Bakugo. She could tell that Bakugo wanted to hang out with her some more, but didn't want to be the center of attention. Sabrina took her hand and pulled her away from him. Chloe looked back at Bakugo, but joined in on the fun with Sabrina, Jirou and Ashido.

As they both sat down, Chloe kept looking at Bakugo. He joined in with Kirishima and Sato on the other side of the gym. She spotted him looking at her, and she couldn't help but smile. After a while of hanging out before the movie starts, Chloe was okay with him being with the others at this point. She then realized that Ladybug and Cat Noir were no where to be found.

"Hey. Where's Ladybug and Cat Noir?" Chloe asked them, "I haven't seen them in a while."

"She's taking care of something back home. Something about Uraraka needing gloves because of her quirk," Ashido said to her, "Cat Noir wanted to help out since tomorrow is finally the day! We're finally going home!"

"I can't wait to see everyone," Jirou said to them, "I miss Yaoyorozu."

"You mean, Kaminari?" Ashido said back with a knowing look.

Jirou's face turned bright red from what Ashido just said, and Chloe laughed at them. But after a while, she felt a little upset that they'd be going back so soon. And just when she started to get to know more about Bakugo. She really liked the way it felt to hold him, to kiss him. Even his arms around her felt so warm and comforting.

Chloe noticed Bakugo looking at her with her friends, and she could see him smirking. She smiled back at him, feeling so much better. Even from far away, she felt so much comfort coming from him.

"Surprisingly enough, I think we're going to miss you Chloe," Ashido said to her.

"Yeah. I agree. We'll miss you," Jirou said back.

Ashido and Jirou hugged Chloe, surprising her. She smiled at all of them and accepted their hug. She looked up to look at Bakugo with a smile.

"I'll miss you, too."

Another amazing chapter!

Yay! Finally it's coming! They are going home soon! This has been so much fun to write! Don't worry though, it's still a decent amount of chapters coming! They have to deal with Chrysalis and HawkMoth! Ladybug and Cat Noir are getting ready together!

This was a fun chapter to write! Chloe finally told Bakugo how she feels about him!! It seems they're together, but not quite. We'll see!
