Not What It Seems

Chapter One
Finding Yugi Mutou
Haruka groaned as she opened her green-colored eyes. She blinked a couple of times and rubbed her eyes. What happened? Where was she… oh! She rubbed the back of her head. "Now I remember, the scouts and Prince Endymion -" she stopped as soon as his name came out of her mouth, her eyes hardened, and she made a fist in the covers of the bed that she was in. How could they have done that to Usagi? Their Princess? Of all people? Haruka wanted to tear them apart! She pulled the covers away and noticed that she was wearing a white tank top and light blue shorts, but nothing else. She wasn't in her Sailor outfit. She looked around the room as her feet touched the carpet in the room. It was a big room, and she was on a queen size bed. To walked towards the door, opened it, and gasped when she saw how big the place was. "How am I going to find Usagi in this?" she asked herself as she brushed some of her sandy-blonde hair out of her face. She then heard soft crying.
Could that be Usagi?
Haruka followed the sobbing until she reached a closed door and knocked. "Usagi?" the sobbing quieted down. "Haruka? Is that you?" Usagi asked.
"Yes, I'm coming in."
"O-okay."
The next thing that Usagi knew the door opened and Haruka walked through the door, a worried expression on her face. Usagi sat up on the sheets of the queen-sized bed wearing a white nightgown that was sleeveless and came to her knees. Her long golden blonde hair which was normally in long pigtails that reached her ankles and had styled in her two signature buns on top of her head, was all down and loose. Showing how long her beautiful hair really was. Her wide blue eyes with a tint of silver in them were wet with tears. "Princess…" Haruka said with pain in her voice. Usagi began to tear up again, jumped out of the bed, and hugged Haruka as she cried. The tall woman wrapped her arms around the crying girl and laid her chin against Usagi's head.
"Why did they have to do that to me? I thought Mamoru loved me!" she cried out. "But he said he never loved me!"
Haruka looked at the weeping girl and her heart was breaking for her.
"Usagi… we must find a boy named Yugi Mutou, he has some connection with a powerful Pharaoh - who loved you in the past… and whom you really love, Prince Endymion was never your true love." Usagi looked up at her with wide eyes. "Wh-what!? But that can't be right, my memories!" Usagi said in shock.
"I don't know much about it, only what Setsuna has told me thus far, are memories have been erased of an event that happened three thousand years ago. The only one whose memories are still intact is Setsuna's. She knows everything that has happened, and apparently, this is not the first time that Prince Endymion and the scouts betrayed you, only I and Setsuna stayed faithful." Haruka said softly as she looked at Usagi. The moon princess withdrew from Haruka. She clasped her hands together. "Do you think it's true? Do you think I was supposed to be with someone else?"
Haruka gave a nod. "It's possible."
"Then…" Usagi turned to Haruka with determination in her eyes. "Let's find Yugi Mutou!"
Haruka nodded and smiled. "Yes!"

Yugi Mutou sighed as he walked home from school. Lately, he had been having dreams of a girl… she had beautiful long golden blonde hair that was in pigtails that reached almost to the floor, on top of her head her hair was styled with two buns (that is her hair) she had flower clips in her hair near her buns. She is wearing a beautiful white dress that flows to the floor, white one-inch heels, and a pearl bracelet on her right wrist. The only things he couldn't see were her face or the color of her skin, it was darkened by shadows. He imagined that she was a pretty princess… at least she looked like a princess…
'I wonder who she is?' thought Yugi as he continued to walk home.

Yami aka the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle had been having similar dreams of that same princess… only Yami believed that he was in it, his skin was covered in darkness as well, as was the princess. His outfit was different… he wore a gold crown with the eye of Ra on it, a white tunic with a blue sash around his middle, a violet cape, and white and blue slip-on shoes. Around his neck was a gold choker, gold upper arm bands, and gold wristbands, along with gold ankle bands. Around his neck was the Millennium Puzzle and on his side was a sword. He also wore Egyptian-style earrings to top off the outfit. Her hands were in his as they danced without anyone looking…
And then Yami woke up in his soul room, he crumpled the sheets of his bed as he tightened his fists in them… these dreams were driving him crazy! Who was she and why was he dancing with her so closely? Did he know her? He muttered something under his breath and then sighed and flopped back down on his bed. Not only did he not remember who he was… all that he knew - is that he had dark powers and once Yugi released him from the puzzle, he was indebted to him for releasing him from his prison… for how long he had been in the Millennium Puzzle… he can't remember.
"Who am I… and who is that princess?"

"You will find Yugi Mutou at a game shop called "Kame Game Store" he lives with his grandfather, Sugoroku Mutou…"
{KAME GAME STORE}
"…"
Haruka sighed as she walked into the game shop. "Ah! A customer!" Haruka jumped slightly and then gave the short old man a weird look. "Actually, I'm looking for Yugi Mutou - is he here?" she asked kindly. The old man blinked his wide violet eyes. "Ah! My grandson! Yes, he's here! May I ask why you are looking for him?"
"My friend heard that he is really good at games, she wants to duel him of sorts… for fun of course."
"Why did she not come here then?"
Haruka looked down. "She is watching over a friend who isn't doing well right now, at least until I get back," she said softly. The older man was silent for a moment and then he gave her a kind smile. "In that case… Yugi! You have a visitor!"

"Yugi! You have a visitor!"
Yugi Mutou blinked his violet innocent eyes, standing not but 3-5 feet away was a seventeen-year-old boy with short beautiful sandy blonde hair and beautiful green eyes, light/fair skin. He was slim and stood tall at 5'9" in height. He is wearing a light tan shirt with a blue jacket over top, white dress pants, and black dress shoes. There was something about him that was odd though… Yugi couldn't place it though…
"Who is this, Grandpa?" Yugi asked softly.
"I'm so sorry my boy, what is your name?"
The boy gave a feminine chuckle. "Haruka Tenou and I'm female." She said with a grin as both grandfather and grandson's jaw dropped. "Y-you're a girl!" Yugi cried out with a blush. Haruka nodded. "I never said I was a guy." She said simply as if it was the most obvious thing in the world… Haruka half closed her eyes but then smiled at Yugi and the fifteen-year-old couldn't help but blush. "Um… why are you here?" he asked as he fiddled with his fingers shyly.
How cute!
"My friend wants to play a game with you, call it a duel if you will - purely for fun." She said a smile on her face and Yugi's eyes lit up at the word game.
"A game? What kind of game?" he asked excitedly.
Haruka let out a sigh. "Actually… I'm just a messenger, I have no idea what game it is - It's up to you if you want to follow me."
"…" Yugi looked into Haruka's green eyes and saw no deceit coming from her. "Okay…" he said softly as he nodded. "I'll go!" Sugoroku Mutou looked at his grandson with worry. "Are you sure, Yugi?" Yugi looked at his grandfather and smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure!" He saw his grandfather sigh, but then his grandfather smiled at him cheerfully.
"Do what your heart feels right!"
Yugi nodded.
Haruka blinked at first and then smiled softly. "Shall we go?" she asked him, and he nodded shyly.

{In Yami's Soul's Room}
When Yami first saw Haruka Tenou, he knew that she was a female and not a guy - even though, she dressed like one… it was odd, she had a strong feminine aura about her, and she was beautiful, but he had a feeling she was strong as well - he felt like he knew her from somewhere before… but where? He just couldn't remember… he shook his head; he then narrowed his crimson eyes. 'I should keep an eye on her…'

"WOW!" Yugi said in amazement as he looked at the huge mansion while Haruka grinned at him. "Come on, Setsuna is waiting," Haruka said as she went ahead of him, Yugi who was in a daze finally got out of it and ran after Haruka; when he caught up, he followed her until he saw a tall woman of 5'7" with long green hair which part of her hair was styled like a bun, crimson eyes, tan skin tone. She is wearing a white blouse with a red bowtie, red earrings, a violet skirt that comes to her knees, and violet high heels. She was smiling at him when he came fully into the room. "You must be Yugi Mutou." Yugi nodded with a blush. Where are all the girls this cute? Especially Haruka… why did he just think that? "I am known as Setsuna Meiou," Setsuna said softly. "I asked you here to play a friendly game… but that is not why you are here."
Yugi looked shocked as he looked at Setsuna. "Bu-but why am I here for then?" he asked her. She walked up to him. "I must tell you something important and we need your help…" but Haruka interrupted her. "Are you sure about this!? Is this really a good idea?" Haruka sounded worried. As she crossed her arms over her chest. Setsuna nodded and Haruka sighed. She just hoped nothing got messy… Yugi looked back and forth between the two. "What's going on?" he questioned, clearly puzzled. "Will, you please sit down, Mr. Mutou?"
"Um, okay… will you tell me what's going on if I do?" he asked her. Setsuna nodded her head. "Yes." He sat on the couch nervously, not sure what to do…
"Do you know what is held inside your Millennium Puzzle?" Setsuna asked him. Yugi blinked his violet eyes. "What do you mean? I know it's a puzzle from Ancient Egypt…"
"What lies inside that Millennium Puzzle is a three-thousand-year-old spirit of a powerful Pharaoh," Setsuna said as she sat next to Yugi, his eyes went wide. "I can't say what his real name is, that is for him to figure out."
Yugi blinked. "What do you mean by that?"
Setsuna sighed. "He has lost his memories of his past; he doesn't know that he used to be a Pharaoh. There was also more…" she said softly as she looked at Yugi. "What is that?" he questioned. "Three thousand years ago… the Pharaoh fell in love with the moon princess who came to Earth with her fiancé, the Prince of Earth, Prince Endymion." She explained. Yugi stared in awe. "The princess came from the moon?" he asked excitedly. Setsuna nodded and smiled. "Yes, her name was Princess Serenity and she too fell in love with the young Pharaoh, every time she met him on Earth their love deepened, and no one could tear them apart. Not even her supposed fiancé Endymion who only wanted to marry her for power, he even tried to get her killed at times. But I and Haruka protected her, along with the Pharaoh and his guards. Sadly the other sailor guardians from the other planets betrayed our Princess. Only I and Haraka were loyal to both Princess Serenity and the Pharaoh."
"Who are the others? The ones that betrayed your princess?" Yugi asked softly
A sad look came across Setsuna's face. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to!" Setsuna gave a gentle smile; he was such a sweet boy. "It's alright. Princess from other planets, who are the guardians of their planets… the Sailor Guardians… Sailor Mars, Princess Raye of Mars. Sailor Jupiter, Princess Lita of Jupiter. Sailor Venus, Princess Mina of Venus. Sailor Mercury, Princess Amy of Mercury. Sailor Saturn, Princess Hotaru of Saturn, and Sailor Neptune, Princess Michelle of Neptune. *"
Yugi noticed the painful look on Haruka's face when Neptune's name was said. "And - you two are Princesses of your planets?" Yugi asked as he tilted his head to the side. Haruka and Setsuna both nodded. "Yes, my planet is Pluto, I am also Sailor Pluto, the guardian of time and space."
"You're the guardian of time and space!? Wow!" Yugi was amazed that she had such a cool position. He then looked at Haruka. "What's your planet?" he asked her. She smiled as she gave a feminine chuckle. He was giddy like a child. "My planet is Uranus, and I am known as Sailor Uranus. Little Yugi." Yugi's cheeks puffed out cutely as he blushed. "I am not little!" Haruka let out a sweet laugh and he couldn't help the blush that appeared on his cheeks.
"Setsuna? Is Haruka laughing!?" said a feminine voice.
They all turned around, and their Princess was awake.

{Yami's Soul Room}
Yami was going to appear as soon as he found out that they lied to Yugi… but when she began to mention things about his past that he didn't know anything about, those dreams of that princess… and now a goddess stood before Yugi, she stood at 4'11" with beautiful long golden blonde hair that was in pigtails that reached her ankles, while the top of her hair was styled like twin buns, a short sleeve white dress that came to her mid-thigh and white one-inch heels. She was the most beautiful girl that he had ever seen in his life… her eyes were a beautiful blue color with a tint of silver in them and her fair skin tone looked so soft to touch - she was more than just beautiful, she was a goddess.
Yami knew he was just a spirit, but his heart felt like it was beating against his chest - was this the princess in his dreams?

Haruka smirked when she saw the look on Yugi's face, he was staring at her and when he caught himself, he blushed crimson. "Setsuna, Haruka…is this, Yugi Mutou?" she asked softly. As she looked at the shy boy. They nodded. "This is him," Haruka said with a grin. Usagi quickly turned to him and made a beeline towards him and his hands into hers. Yugi's blush deepened. "Hi! I'm Usagi Tsukino!" she said with a smile. "Are - are you the moon princess… Princess Serenity?" he asked her, and she nodded. "Yes, that was my name as a princess before I died and was reborn."
"Reborn?"
Usagi nodded, but before Usagi could say anything future, Setsuna interrupted her. "Forgive me Princess, but I must tell you that your memories are false…" Usagi let go of Yugi's hands and he saw them shake, so he placed her hands into his - to comfort her. And she seemed to calm down somewhat. "I know, Mamoru doesn't love me and never has - even as Prince Endymion, he didn't love me." A look of sadness came across her face, it was hard to think of him. "That is true Princess, but you do know there was someone different who loved you, unlike Endymion who only wanted you for your power - the Pharaoh of Egypt loved you deeply," Setsuna explained.
"And Yugi is the key? I don't quite understand…" Usagi said, Yugi then let go of her hands and suddenly swept into a pair of strong arms and into the lap of someone who looked like Yugi Mutou, only his normally tricolored hair was different, it was the same colors, blonde lightning bolt bangs, while the rest of his hair was shaped like a star and was black with red highlights… only his blonde bangs were sticking up in certain places, he had a more mature look to him, his eyes are sharper and they are crimson-violet, even though he was sitting down and now holding Usagi in his lap tenderly. You could tell that he was taller than Yugi, he was 5'4" while he was still slim, and he had muscles. While Yugi was only 5'0".
A smirk appeared on his lips (you know that sexy one) "Looks like I caught me a moon goddess…" he said in a deep and alluring tone of voice.
Usagi turned red as a tomato! Was this the Pharaoh!?
