Chapter Five
A Love Confession?

Something was wrong with Tabitha, from what Ryou saw she had been quiet ever since she was up this morning. Ryou was becoming concerned about her, when he tried to ask if she was all right - she just smiled. "I'm fine." But that just made him worry more. So, he cornered her, alone on the rooftop. "There's something wrong, you haven't talked hardly at all today." She winched slightly when he took hold of her arms with his hands. "Please tell me what's wrong." She looked into his chocolate-colored eyes with her turquoise-colored ones. "Ryou…" she looked down slightly. "I had a dream last night…"

He blinked. "A dream?" he questioned as he let go of her upper arms. "I dreamt about Yami when he was Pharaoh." She said slowly and Ryou nodded. "Go on." He urged her to go on. "And two other people. One person that looks like Seto Kaiba and the other…" Ryou gave her a shocked look. "Someone that looks like Kaiba?" she nodded. "But he is not him, he is an Egyptian. And he is a High Priest known as Set." Ryou gave her a dumbfounded look. But then he shook his head. "Who is the other?"

"A woman that looks just like me, only she a bit older than me… and her hair and eye color is different too than mine as well…" she looked down at her feet. "But in our faces, we look alike. Only she looks more mature looking."

"She looked like you?"

Nod.

"Did she have a name?" Ryou asked—another nod. "Yami said her name was Terentia… and he's-" she paused. I am not sure if she should tell him that part. "What is it? You can tell me, Tabitha." He reassured her. "I-I when he was Pharaoh, he was in love with Terentia, but she didn't return those feelings." Ryou frowned. "Do you think that he remembers her? Or still harbors those feelings?" He suddenly asked and she blinked. "I not too sure-" her mind wanders to when he hugs her and holds her hand.

"Come on, we'll make sure nothing happens to you."

A blush crept up her cheeks as the memory popped into her mind. What was wrong with her? What indeed?

Ryou frowned. Did something happen that he did not know about? He had never seen her blush like that before, he had never seen her blush and she looked cute when she did so, but what was making her do so? But unknown to both of them, someone with crimson-violet eyes was watching them and he overheard everything.

He kept it from Yugi for he knew that Yugi had a soft spot for the girl. She had the same dream last night that he had. It sounded like she knew who Kaiba was, who HE was and even knew his recent name; Yami - so, could she tell the difference between him and Yugi after all? And that blush that she was blushing… Ryou did not seem to be the cause of it. He began to wonder what she was thinking. But really who was this girl, should he be worried? He was not sure. But why did she have the same dream as him, last night? She seemed almost upset about his past self and his affection towards Terentia… it was as if she were jealous of Terentia - but how could that be possible? Yami shook his head. Yami was seeing things, there was no way that girl had hidden feelings for him, was there? But why should he care? For all he knew, she really could be an enemy… but his heart told him otherwise and her aura… he sighed - regardless of what he felt, he had to find out who she really was.

"Yugi! You are hurting me!"

Tabitha winched as she was pushed against a school building wall where no one could see. He placed his hand against the wall trapping her, he narrowed his crimson-violet eyes at her. "Cut the act, I know you can tell the difference between me and Yugi!"

Uh-oh. She swallowed hard as she stared into his eyes with her turquoise-colored eyes. But she stood her ground and narrowed her eyes. "What do you want, Yami?" she questioned. He smirked at her. "That's better…" he said as he continued to look at her. "Who are you?" She raised an eyebrow at the Pharaoh. "You already know my name…" she said as she waved her hand back and forth. "What is this about?" she asked him. "You and I had the same dream last night."

Her eyes widen. "How did you know about that?"

"I overheard you talking about it on the rooftops with your cousin." He said flatly and her eye twitched. "Does Yugi know about it as well?" she asked and Yami shook his head. "No, Yugi has taken a liking to you, so I shielded the dream from him. I did not want him to worry." She blinked. He has what now? "Does he like, like me?" she suddenly asked and Yami gave her a puzzled look. "Do you mean does he have affection for you?" she nodded. "I believe he sees you as a sister than anything." Tabitha sighed in relief at his answer. "That's good, I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings if he was in love with me or something like that."

He moved closer to her face and an uneasy look formed on her face, what was he doing? "Have you ever fallen in love with someone?" he asked, changing the subject from the original subject that he had meant to question her about. "No!" she blushed bright red. "A-at least I don't think so…" she trailed off as she looked away from him. Why was he asking her such a thing? As he looked at her, she was turning into that blushing mess again, the adorable blushing mess that he so loved. And he wondered if he could make that blush deepen… he took both of his hands placed them on her flaming cheeks, brought her face closer to his - and gently kissed her lips.

Her eyes widened, this was the second time someone had stolen a kiss from her, but this one felt different somehow, she felt like Jello, and she soon felt herself kiss back slowly. It was not forced like Bakura's kiss - it was sweet and gentle. They parted from the kiss and Tabitha was brought back to reality. She pushed Yami away from her and she ran, she had to get as far away from him as possible! "Tabitha!" Yami called out to her, but she just ignored him. He licked his lips; she had kissed him back… he was not expecting that.

Tabitha was sulking, she was also ignoring Yami every chance she got. Why did he have to go and kiss her? Not only was she having weird dreams of the past… but then Yami had to go and kiss her! And it did not help that she looked like that woman Terentia or whatever her name was… Yugi noticed that she was ignoring him… well, not him - she was ignoring Yami… and he wanted to find out why she was ignoring Yami, so he followed her to the rooftop.

"Tabitha…" he said softly.

Tabitha blinked, she knew that voice - Yugi - she turned around and saw Yugi looking at her with a worried expression on his face. She gave a strained smile. "Yugi, what's wrong?"

"How long have you been able to tell the difference between me and Yami?"

"So, he told you?" she asked. He nodded his head and she sighed. "From the beginning… it's kind of hard not to tell - he is taller than you and has narrow eyes and has a bit of crimson in his eyes… and his voice…" she trailed off as she looked away from him. "Why have you been ignoring Yami?" he asked suddenly, Tabitha looked back at him and blinked, and the memory of the kiss appeared before her eyes… she looked away and blushed. She crossed her arms. "I-I'm not ignoring him." She shuddered. Yugi frowned at her. He walked right up to her and took hold of her hands. She looked down at the 5'1" tall teenager. He looked up at her with seriousness in his eyes. "What did he do to you!"

She blinked as she looked at the short boy… well this was new… "Um… I'm not sure-"

"Don't lie to me! Please, what did he do to you yesterday?" Her mind went back to the kiss and she blushed crimson. She quickly looked away from Yugi. Yugi narrowed his violet eyes. "I knew it! He did something! What did he do?" Yugi cried out. Tabitha's blush deepened. "No-nothing happened!" she said as she stumbled on her words. Yugi tightened his grip slightly but not enough to hurt her. "Please tell me the truth, Tabitha." He pleaded. She looked at him then, her cheeks still rosy with a blush. She sighed. "Fine! He- he kissed me…. that is why I have been ignoring him."

She looked up at Yugi when she didn't hear anything from him. She sweat dropped when she saw that his jaw had dropped and closed shut. He looked down on the ground. "He kissed you?" his tone laced with jealousy, but Tabitha didn't seem to notice. "Uh, yeah… I did push him away…" she explained slowly as she looked at him nervously. He let go of her hands and she blinked when he went on his tippy toes, he then took hold of her face in his hands and then kissed her softly.

She blinked…, and then her eyes widened.

What is this? Kiss Tabitha week!? Tabitha's eyes were spinning - he bit her lip softly and she gasped, he then deepened the kiss and she moaned against his mouth. Why was sweet Yugi kissing her!? And how did he learn to kiss like that? He then parted from her lips and stood flat on his feet; both were blushing crimson. "Yugi-"

"Tabitha, I love you."

She then leaned forward and fainted in his arms. "Tabitha!"

Ryou came rushing into the nurse's room and found - Yugi holding Tabitha's hand while she slept peacefully. His eye twitched, why was Yugi holding Tabitha's hand? But as he looked at the side of Yugi's face (who was looking at Tabitha.) he noticed that he had a sad look on his face.

"Yugi… I heard that Tabitha fainted! What happened?"

Yugi, startled, looked up and saw Ryou Bakura standing at the door. He knew that he should let go of Tabitha's hand… but he couldn't help but be near her. "I'm sorry," Yugi said as he looked back at Tabitha. "Tabitha fainted because of me." Ryou blinked at him, but then his eyes narrowed… did he do something to Tabitha? "I confessed my feelings to Tabitha… and she fainted…"

Ryou's jaw dropped. "What!?" He walked up to Yugi, jealousy clearly in his eyes - and he grabbed Yugi by the shirt making Yugi let go of Tabitha's hand and glared at him. "What else did you do!?"

Yugi looked at Ryou with seriousness in his big violet eyes. "I kissed her."

Before Ryou could do anything to Yugi - they both heard a soft moan, followed by a "Shut up! Too loud!" They both looked towards Tabitha and saw her slowly opening her turquoise eyes. As she sat up, she saw the position that Ryou had Yugi in. Her eyes widened. "Ryou! What do you think you are doing to Yugi!" she cried out as she went to get off the bed, but Ryou quickly let go of Yugi and went towards the bed.

"You shouldn't get up, you fainted!"

"Stop right there!" Ryou and Yugi froze at her tone of voice. "I'll ask again… what are you doing to Yugi!" she asked him, clearly angry.

"He kissed you-" he began, and Tabitha's cheeks burned cherry.

"And?" she asked as her cheeks puffed out cutely. "I think that Yugi has a right to confess to me- I don't know why you're acting like a jealous boyfriend-"

A small blush formed on Ryou's cheeks. "That's because - I am jealous."

Yugi looked between the two as Tabitha's jaw dropped and then closed. Yugi narrowed his violet eyes; something was off between them… they weren't acting like cousins would. At least, Ryou wasn't at the moment - he really looked like he was jealous of Yugi and Yugi wondered why…? Was there something that he didn't know? "Why the hell are you jealous? There is no reason to be jealous-" began Tabitha but was interrupted by Ryou. "I don't want you taken from me…" he said softly. Ryou was confessing to her, but was it a love confession? Yugi didn't know what to feel, he felt jealous every time some other guy tried to get near her - which he kept secret until now. But was Ryou just worried about her and him not being able to protect her, if need be? Or was Ryou Bakura in love with his cousin? But something was for sure… Ryou did have some feelings for his dear cousin… should he be concerned - Yugi frowned.

"No one will take me away; you are my cousin and friend. Nothing will change that." She said softly as she looked at him with a kind look.

"No… you don't understand-" Ryou began as he looked at her. Tabitha blinked her turquoise-colored eyes. "Understand what?" she asked becoming worried and so was Yugi. "I can't keep these feelings inside me any longer… I-I'm jealous because I'm in love with you… Tabitha!?" Tabitha fainted on the bed with a flop, and Yugi ran to her side. "You're in love with your cousin?" Yugi asked with a low tone of voice and narrow eyes.

Ryou sighed. "Yugi, I should've told you this before - be me and Tabitha- we are not cousins…" Yugi looked at him in shock. "We are not even related; Tabitha is from another world, and she needed a place to stay-"

"Get out!" Yugi's voice held venom in it. "What!?" Ryou asked surprised, with wide chocolate brown eyes. "You heard me, get out!"

"Alright." Ryou then left the room and shut the door behind him.

Yugi looked at Tabitha's peaceful face… was she really from another world?

Finally, Chapter Five is up! Being kissed by both Yami and Yugi XD and being confessed to by Yugi and Ryou? Poor Tabitha, what's a girl to do?
