BRIDGE OF THE FIRST ORDER FREIGHTER
There's an eerie calm on the bridge of the freighter.
Male IT (dark blue stripe) "Shields are holding firm."
Male combat: "We're almost dead middle of the artificial gravity zone."
Female combat (orange stripe) "This is an ambush. They knew where we were."
Captain: "Send word to activate."
Male and Female IT: (unison) "At you command Captain."
INSIDE THE GATE ROOM
Rey cuts the second magna droid in half. Behind her, Captain Phasma is standing with her arms up against the wall body towards Loreanna while looking at Finn who is carefully walking around while keeping his blaster in his right hand trained on Phasma. Finn is holding one of the cylinder explosives in his left hand. Loreanna returns the whip to her hip and then uses her now free left hand to twist the revolving barrel on her blaster on her right hip before drawing it with her left. She lines it up with Phasma and fires. A marble sized green sphere shoots out of the gun. Phasma hears the shot, but is not able to doge the shot since the green sphere started expanding the moment it left the barrel. The softball sized sphere hits Phasma in the hip and splatters all down the armor of her leg and across her side. Phasma's momentum from dodging bring her goop covered leg in contact with the floor. She tries to brush off the gunk while attempting to stand only to discover her hand is firmly stuck to her leg, which is firmly stuck to the floor.
Finn: "So that's what the sticky bubble does." (as Phasma continues to struggle)
Rey shuts down her lightsaber and slides it back on her shoulder. She pulls out a comlink.
Rey: (into the comlink) "Chewie."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: (to Finn) "Better plant the last two explosives. Ezra-Two should have struck by now and we need to be ready."
Finn nods and heads off to plant the final explosives.
Rey walks over to Loreanna: "Chewie and Nightsister Suursaadik are ready at our call. He said"
There are no wookies or dathomirians in the Unknown, so Chewie and Nightsister Suursaadik have stayed on the ship out of sight for most of this mission.
She stops at the sound of over two dozen locks un-clicking at the same time. All the black stone capsule doors slide open at the same time. Loreanna and Rey are instantly back to back each face a wall of reveled occupants. All of the occupants are dressed in the same course monk like gray robe. With no noticeable cue, all the occupants sit up and swing their legs over and then stand in unison. They then slowly make their way in a very organized manner towards the twenty-four platforms. Finn puts his back to the wall near the second to last Kyber crystal with the final explosive in one hand and his blaster ready to strike as the walkers approach him, but they walk right past him as if he isn't there. He throws an unnerved look towards Loreanna and Rey.
Rey: (to Loreanna) "There like puppets."
Captain Phasma: "They are what Order needs them to be."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "Explain."
Captain Phasma: (growing passive boarding on madness tone) "The Supreme Leader is a genius. A society of Order requires pieces to fit, so he implanted a chip in his followers. His chips can both rid the blessed of disorganized thoughts or emotions and have them fit their roles."
Rey: (mild horror) "Is that what you meant by you got rid of your emotions...so these chips can control"
Captain Phasma: (interrupts Rey-passionate madness) "BLASPHEMY! THERE IS NO CONTROL—ONLY ORDER, AND THE PEACE IT BRINGS!."
Rey and Loreanna both look around at the mindless walkers and then at Finn.
Rey: (unnerved) "Are these chips in everyone?"
Captain Phasma looks at them before glancing over at Finn who is horror struck.
The walkers have reached the platforms with three to a platfrom. Finn is edging his way towards the nearest staircase with his back still to the wall and keeping his eyes on the walkers.
Captain Phasma: (calmer) "The traitor does not have one. Resources are too limited." (she looks at Finn" Though he will when he returns to Order." (she looks back at Rey and Loreanna "You all will. Order will prevail! Glory to the First Order!"
Loreanna shoots her with a stun blast.
Rey shakes he head unable to voice an opinion.
The Supreme Leader has created bio-chips that are able to wipe all memories/emotions from the subject at the press of a button or preconditioned signal similar to Order 66. In this case, the preconditioned signal is a command received from a central computer system similar to the poison/tracker capsules. Through the bio-chips can't create false memories, they can spark any emotions the controller sees fit.
The walkers—with three (with four walkers on a sixth of the platforms) to a platform—stand in line. Their faces still devoid of any emotion. Then the first walker in each line twitch and then their faces twists in pure rage/hatred/anger. Force lightening leaps from their fingertips and they drive it directly into the Kyber crystals. The Kyber crystals hum and spark with power. Then a powerful thick bolt of Force lightening shoots out of each Kyber crystal and hits the large Kyber crystal in the middle. The larger Kyber crystals trembles as power builds inside of it. Black energy beams shoot out of the main center Kyber crystal back to the twenty-four Kyber crystals. As it does, there's a low sound like a mix of ripping a piece of paper plus nails on a chalkboard plus a cat yowl. The black energy builds in each of the 24 Kyber crystals. Then beams of black energy fly out of each Kyber crystal into the neighboring Kyber crystals. The horrific sound amplifies.
Rey drops to the ground screaming in harmony with the horrific sound as her body spasms in pain. Loreanna moves to catch her, but her own body convulses and she falls whimpering slightly.
Finn: "Rey, Agent Solfel."
He staggers slightly, but grabs the railing with one hand (the other is still holding the final explosive) and continues much quicker towards the staircase.
BB-8 beeps frantically.
One of the walkers that was first in line collapses. The one behind steps forward rage now twisting his/her features and continues to drive Force-lightening into the Kyber crystal. Several other sleepers also collapse with the next in line taking their place.
The beams of black energy flowing from the middle Kyber crystal to the ring of Kyber crystals and the crystals in the ring to each other are slowly thickening. As they thicken and close the distance between them, the agonizing wrenching sound gets louder and louder.
A heavy sound of a large object hitting protesting metal is hardly heard as the cut portion of the door falls against the already bent railing. Zedric—still wearing the ysalmiri around his neck-leaps through the hole and lands next to Rey and Loreanna. As soon as he lands near them, their pain spasm cease. Zedric, his face pale and teeth grit as his own muscles continue to twitch in pain, reaches out towards Finn and Force pulls him into the ysalmiri's influence. All three look at Zedric who's own muscles are still twitching in pain. The ysalmiri, a very Force sensitive creature, looks half dead.
They turn back in time to see the beam of black energy lines merge. Several more of the walkers have collapsed. As the black energy merge, there's a final deafining tearing sound echoed by Zedric's own scream of pain and the cry of a creature. The tearing sound stops and the wall goes inky black.
Loreanna, Finn, and Rey all whirl at the sound of metal sliding against metal to see a pair of blast doors had already opened and the tunnel is extending towards the inky black.
Rey: "Move!"
She hauls Finn to his feet while a slight tug is enough to get Loreanna moving. Loreanna grabs her brother and the four stagger over to the nearest catwalk and climb onto it. They watch in a tangled heap as the tunnel extends across the room and sinks slightly into the inky mass. All is silent, and then the sound of a ship roaring by is heard coming from inside the tunnel.
Loreanna Solfel: (shock, horror, and exhaustion) "So that's how they activate it."
Zedric shifts position and weakly reaches out and gently yet firmly grabs the controller on Finn's wrist. Finn looks at him oddly as Zedric enters a few commands.
The countdown on explosives changes from two standard minutes to twenty standard minutes.
Zedric enters another command.
A thin antenna pops out with a small ring of green light that runs up and down the antenna.
Suddenly the ysalmiri falls off Zedric's shoulders dead. He looks at the dead creature his expression sad against an expression of exhaustion and pain before he passes out from exhaustion.
Finn: (looking at the controller) "What"
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: (tired) "Leave it.
Finn nods and stands to insert the last explosive left.
Loreanna grabs him and shakes her head: "Zedric activated the seismic trigger. Any vibrations within a certain distance and this place is gone."
Another ship is heard going by. The tunnel doesn't even quiver as the ships fly through at high speed.
Finn's eyes widen as he looks at the controller: "Then I guess the longer time limit doesn't matter." (pause—as he puts away the final explosive in his pack) "Why did he do that?"
Loreanna shrugs: (tired) "Knowing him, it was the will of the Force."
Another ship flies through the tunnel.
Rey: (tired) "We need to go."
RUINS OF ALDERAAN/COCKPITS OF VARIOUS X-WINGS
First order fighters are flying out of the freighter and heading directly towards the indicator cruiser. A squad of New Republic x-wings fly to intercept.
Flight Commander: "All wings report in."
Fighter Pilot A: "Red ten standing by."
Fighter Pilot B: (over intercom) "Red seven standing by."
Fighter Pilot C: "Red three standing by."
Fighter Pilot D: "Red six standing by."
Fighter Pilot E: (over intercom) "Red nine standing by."
Fighter Pilot F: "Red two standing by."
Fighter Pilot G: (over intercom) "Red eleven standing by."
Fighter Pilot H: "Red five standing by."
Flight Commander: "Lock S-foils in attack position."
Similar to the attacking the Death Star scene in Star Wars: A New Hope.
GATE ROOM
Finn with Zedric on his back has made his way to the highest point in the room near the entry area. A quick glance into the other room shows over two dozen unconscious individuals. Rey is crouched down on top of the tunnel with one hand holding her unignited blade and the other on top of the tunnel. Loreanna is behind Finn now wearing his backpack. She does one final sweep of the room—noting that most of the walkers/sleepers save three that are lying motionless have crawled back towards their sleeping cubbies. The sticky mess holding Phasma is starting to melt and evaporate. BB-8 is behind Loreanna.
Rey's eyes are closed and she is focused.
Then she feels Chewie's presence: "Chewie's right below us."
Rey ignites her blade and bevel cuts a large circular opening into the tunnel. She steps back and the cut section suddenly pops up and flies off to the side as Chewbacca pushes it from underneath.
Chewiebacca growls a greeting.
He climbs up and heads straight towards Finn. The Falcon is hovering with the open top hatchway directly below the cut opening. Rey Force lifts BB-8 and lowers him into the opening very carefully. She then drops down into the Falcon and heads towards the cockpit. Chewbacca gently takes Zedric from Finn as a loving father takes his child and carries him over to the opening and into the Falcon. Finn follows. Loreanna scans the room one last time—noting that Captain Phasma is gone and several of the unconscious individuals in the other room are starting to stir—before leaping the shot distance onto the tunnel and sliding into the Falcon.
She slaps her comlink on as she jumps onto the tunnel roof.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Nightsister Suursaadik is sitting in the jmpseat chanting. Green mist is spilling from her. Rey is in the pilot seat. Finn is in the copilot seat.
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: (via comlink) "Clear."
Rey moves the controls.
TUNNEL
The Falcon movies. Loreanna closes the top hatch.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Finn: (into the comlink) "Time to blow this place...literally."
He pushes the detonation switch on the control panel on his left wrist.
GATE ROOM
The twenty standard minute timer activates and begins counting down.
RUINS OF ALDERAAN
A First Order fighter flies out of the freighter followed by the unseen/green mist covered Falcon. The imperial indicator cruiser has taken refuge in the fringes of the rubble field. Any and all First Order fighters targeting the ship have to avoid the rubble, New Republican fighters, and Imperial TIEs. Both the Lucente and one of the republican cruisers are damaged with smoke pouring from at least two different points on each ship.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
The doors open and Loreanna enters the cockpit. She reaches over and turns on the com.
Loreanna: (into the com) "This is Imperial Hand Agent Solfel contacting Supreme Commander General D'ect. This is Imperial Hand Agent Solfel contacting Supreme Commander General D'ect."
BRIDGE OF THE IMPERIAL INDICATOR
A human tec is sitting at a communications terminal off to the side of the command bridge. General D'ect is standing behind him.
He's using the communication terminal rather than the command deck communication system to not distract everyone on the bridge from defending the ship.
General D'ect: (warm military tone) "Agent Solfel, welcome back to Imperial space. Can we expect to see some fireworks soon?"
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Loreanna glances over at the timer on Finn's control panel.
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "In about seventeen standard minutes, General."
BRIDGE OF THE IMPERIAL INDICATOR
General D'ect: "Seventeen standard minutes and counting" (to the communication tec—Loreanna can still hear) "Notify all squads and republican allies to pull back at our signal. Contact the special unit and notify them to be ready to destroy that freighter."
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Finn: (to Loreanna) "Destroy the freighter? Wouldn't it be better to capture it?"
General D'ect: (over the com) "Visual victories are important. Missions like yours are the true heart of ending conflict while ours are the visible proof of strength and security."
Finn carefully digest what General D'ect said.
BRIDGE OF THE IMPERIAL INDICATOR
Communication tec: (to General D'ect) "Sir, all squad leaders, republican allies, and special unit have reported ready and waiting for our signal."
General D'ect nods.
General D'ect: "Agent Solfel, if you're in a state to help with the aftermath, I have a crew and it waiting for you."
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
A huge genuine smile lights up Loreanna's face.
Imperial Hand Solfel: "Understood, docking soon."
RUINS OF ALDERAAN
The Falcon is only a short distance from the hanger. As it approaches, the green mist shrouding the Falcon thins and fades resulting in the Falcon slowly coming into view. The Falcon finishes the approach and enters the hanger.
HANGER OF THE IMPERIAL INDICATOR
The ramp on the Falcon lowers and Loreanna with Chewie behind her rushes out and heads straight towards a familiar black rectangular prism ship: a rebuilt Dark Millennial. Nightsister Suursaadik descends a moment later and heads towards the hanger exit doors. Finn and BB-8 appear at the top of the ramp, but while BB-8 starts rolling down the ramp, Finn doesn't move.
BB-8 turns his head and beeps at Finn
Finn: "You go ahead. I'm going to wait for the others."
BB-8 looks towards the exit before rolling back up the ramp to wait besides Finn. Finn turns around to find Rey and almost bumps into Zedric who has another ysalmiri across his shoulders.
FALCON UPPER QUAD TURRET
Rey is still sitting in the pilot seat fingering her locket and thinking. She flips open the locket. The picture is of her as a child practicing her staff fighting with a man that looks exactly like Obe Wan Kenobi aged during The Clone Wars except for a droid left arm. As she looks at the picture, he thumb brushes against the inside of the locket starting a Force vision
Warden Exivy is standing just behind a man wearing all black. She is holding Rey's locket in her hands. The locket is open and showing the same picture. The man in black is not hooded. He is a human male with light colored hair and fair skin. Both Warden Exivy and the man are looking down into a circular arena.
CIRCULAR ARENA
Warden Vi has both orange blades ignited facing two creatures. The bodies of the creatures are a hybrid of tiger and baboon. They have longer forelegs than back legs and baboon like hands with tiger claws. The creatures have long tails, cat like faces, and muscles like a tiger. The skin of the creatures is Zilo beast scales. One of the creatures leaps for Warden Vi. He slashes at it with his lightsaber. The lightsaber doesn't do any damage. Warden Vi dodges the still oncoming creature and punches it hard in the side using the snake design brass knuckle on his lightsaber. The creature shows no sign of being hurt. Warden Vi again slashes with his other lightsaber across the creature's back, and again the lightsaber does no damage. Warden Vi leaps back away from the creature.
OBSERVATION AREA OF CIRCULAR ARENA
Warden Exivy watches the Supreme Leader pushes a button on the intercom before him.
Supreme Leader: (his back to Warden Exivy and talking to Warden Vi) "Begin trial two"
CIRCULAR ARENA
Warden Vi: "At your command Supreme Leader."
Two growls of acknowledgment from the creatures follow Warden Vi's statement.
Both creatures take a step back and one shimmers before disappearing completely. The other moves to attack. Warden Vi dodges the attack from the visable one and the creature skids into the wall. He then Force grabs his unseen attacker and Force throws the creature into the opposing wall. The creature slams hard and flickers back into view as it slides to the floor. The former creature leaps to attack Warden Vi from behind while he isn't looking, but Warden Vi spins around with Force reflexes and Force throws the creature directly into the other that was standing up to attack again.
They both disappear and launch themselves at Warden Vi again. He simply Force grabs the unseen creatures and hurls them against the wall again. The creatures hit hard and shimmer back into view. They are slow to get up to attack again.
OBSERVATION AREA OF CIRCULAR ARENA
Supreme Leader: (his back to her-sigh) "They're still not good enough. I need what is on that data disk Warden Exivy. Once your punishment ends, you must find a way to bring Rey here."
Warden Exivy: "Understood."
CIRCULAR ARENA
Warden Vi has Force slammed the creatures into the wall again. They creatures get up much slower this time.
OBSERVATION AREA OF CIRCULAR ARENA
Warden Exivy: "My lord, if an opportunity were to arise earlier, would you have me act on it?"
The man stills for a moment weighing her words.
Man: (statement) "You've seen something."
Warden Exivy: "A possibility nothing more."
Silence for awhile.
Man: "You're possibilities are more of prophecies."
Warden Exivy "….."
Man: "Take the chance if you have it."
Warden Exivy: "Understood...My lord, what exactly is on the data disk you wish to retrieve?"
The man pauses: "The solution to reaching perfection, and with perfection the subjection of the Jedi and the fall of the republic and empire."
Rey jerks out of her vision. She snaps the locket closed.
Warden Exivy has a gift for Force guidance. It's how she knew where they were heading with the map and how she can foresee possible futures.
