Season 3: Episode 14

Rick entered the station, eyes narrowed, things had taken a bad turn, that was for sure.

'Eliza's the only member of the Morales family left...the trauma of that on top of her own injuries and, I can't imagine how she's even beginning to handle things…' He thought sadly. 'Now the question is what next, how do we stop the Saviours, before they do something even more drastic.'

Shaking his head he was resigned to doing what he could, as best he could, but sadly did not hold on to much hope. Until something happened which drew his attention.

"Rick." The captain called out as he exited his office and approached him.

He turned to face him. "Sir?"

The captain looked uneasy. "It looks like things with the Saviours have become really bad. At least you've got a friendly familiar face to help you."

"Huh?"

The captain just nodded towards Rick's desk and Rick turned before seeing a familiar dark skinned FBI woman seated there waiting for him.

"Michonne?" He gasped.

She turned to face him, smiling tightly and nodded.

"Hello Rick." She replied. "A really terrible business, I heard."

Rick sighed but nodded and they sat down at his desk.

"So, the Saviours?" Michonne offered. "I've actually been involved in this case for a few years now."

Rick nodded. "I got involved...because of the Morales family and now, now Eliza is the only one left."

Michonne bowed her head. "I heard...I should have come here sooner."

Rick grimaced. "I should've asked sooner...a man I met who knew about them, he said I should've brought you in...and bring in a lot, 'mob-handed' were his words."

"I can understand that, don't worry Rick...I'm not alone in this, I'm just the first to arrive." Michonne explained. "The others will be here within the next day or two."

"Will that...what if they move on?" Rick wonders aloud.

Michonne shook her head. "They won't, they know I'm here and given my previous work against them, they won't want to make a move, yet."

Rick took a deep breath. "So, what do we do?"

"I have a confidential informant within the group...I'll need time to get in touch with him, but if I can, he should be able to give us all the information we need to take action." Michonne explained.

Rick was taken aback by that, but he was hopeful, maybe now there was something that could be done.

Eliza bit her lip as she finally exited the hospital, dressed in fresh clothes and more or less recovered from her injuries. Her hand was still bandaged as a result of her removed fingernails which were still to grow back. She was still rather worried about what would happen to her now, having lost her parents and having nowhere to go. She had been reassured however that there were people who were willing to take her in. She also had all her friends support which she just hoped would help her overcome the terrors that still came to her in the night. She'd recovered as well as she could, but it wasn't anything like a full recovery, she still had a long way to go, she knew that much.

"Eliza…"

She looked up and smiled, feeling a little more relaxed.

"Enid." She said gently.

Enid hugged her and then directed her attention to Maggie and Glenn. That was when it all clicked into place for her.

"Mr. and Mrs. Rhee...are you sure about, I mean, I'd hate to impose, I-" She said hesitantly.

Glenn shook his head. "It's fine Eliza, really...in fact, Enid was the one who suggested this to us."

"It's the least we can do, you're not alone, Eliza." Maggie explained softly.

"Yeah, you have us, not to mention the others." Enid agreed.

Eliza managed a smile and was even more relieved as she left the hospital with the Rhee family.

At the Rhee house, Eliza looked around and smiled lightly, feelings of hope returning to her as she noted they'd in fact already set things up for her to move in and have somewhere safe to stay after her ordeal. The best part, in her eyes, was when everyone else arrived and began to help her settle in and reassured her that everything was going to be alright, even if she couldn't see it yet.

"We're all here for you, Eliza." Laurel said as she sat by her.

Eliza nodded, looking around at all the others who were there, reminding herself that they had all come for her, that she wasn't alone and no matter what, she would have people to help her overcome her fears, her terror, what she had endured. Her biggest hope now was not only to recover and be able to live her life, even if she never forgot her family. It would be the biggest respect she could pay them, by not letting the Saviours win and continuing with her life. But she really hoped that sooner rather than later, the Saviours would be dealt with at last.
