Before I begin I just wanted to clarify that this chapter is less than a thousand words long because, well, honestly…. I wasn't sure how to end this story arc. I mean I needed to end it somewhere, but at the same time I didn't want to be drawn into another plotline that would take forever to tell.

So bear in mind that this chapter is an epilogue chapter that takes place a few days after the previous chapter. That's the reason it's so short just so you guys know and I'm thinking of doing multiverse travel in part two, maybe they can go to Peter-Knull's symbiotic universe at one point see what that's like, that should be interesting?

Anyway, here it is.

Marvel: From the Void and Back Again

Chapter 33: Epilogue; One Story Ends, Another Begins

A few days later, the atmosphere in the Avengers Tower was one of anticipation and hope. Madelyne and Peter-Knull, holding their twins Lucian and Selene, stood among their friends and allies. Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales, Peter Parker, Deadpool, She-Hulk, Captain America, and many others were gathered outside the infirmary, waiting patiently. Inside, Jocasta was in the final stages of labor, with Mecha-Spike-1 by her side, holding her hand as their daughter came into the world.

The process was remarkably calm, with none of the usual screams of pain that accompanied childbirth. Given that Jocasta had started out as an android before receiving her symbiotic nature, this made sense. The room was filled with a serene atmosphere, monitored closely by Reed Richards and Susan Storm, along with a few other medical professionals.

"How long has it been?" Peter Parker asked, glancing at his watch.

"Three minutes," Reed Richards replied, his eyes never leaving the monitors. "Everything seems to be going smoothly."

Inside the infirmary, Jocasta breathed steadily.

Mecha-Spike-1 stood beside her, his metallic features softened by a rare expression of tenderness. There was a quiet hum of machinery and the gentle whirring of clockwork mechanisms, creating a peaceful symphony of sound.

When the process was complete, Reed Richards and Susan Storm carefully examined the newborn. Cybelle, Jocasta's daughter, was a marvel to behold. Her silverish translucent form was filled with intricate clockwork mechanisms that weren't connected to anything. They constantly formed for a minute, then dissolved inside her translucent frame before reforming all over again.

As Cybelle was carefully swaddled and brought out to meet everyone, the assembled group fell silent

Her form was beautiful and mesmerizing, an extraordinary blend of organic and mechanical symbiotic life.

Peter-Knull and Madelyne stepped forward, their children in their arms, to greet the newest member of their extended family. "She's beautiful," Madelyne whispered, her eyes shining with tears of joy.

Spider-Gwen, her eyes wide with wonder, nodded. "I've never seen anything like her."

Miles Morales grinned. "She's definitely one of a kind."

Peter Parker, always the scientist, leaned in closer to examine Cybelle. "It's amazing... the way the clockwork mechanisms form and dissolve. She's like a living, breathing piece of art."

Deadpool, ever the jokester, couldn't resist adding, "I guess we can say time really is on her side, huh?"

She-Hulk rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless. "Only you would make a joke like that, Wade."

Reed Richards, still baffled by the mechanics of Cybelle's form, shook his head in amazement. "I've seen a lot of extraordinary things, but this… this is truly remarkable."

Susan Storm nodded in agreement. "She's a miracle."

Jocasta, her form shimmering with a maternal glow, smiled down at her daughter. "Thank you, everyone. We're so grateful to share this moment with all of you."

The cosmic hierarchy, led by the Living Tribunal, had convened an emergency meeting. The Watchers, who had recently taken on a more active guiding role in the multiverse, knew their attendance was mandatory. However, nothing could have prepared them for the gravity of the situation they were about to face.

The grand chamber of the multiversal council was filled with the most powerful and enigmatic beings in existence. The Living Tribunal stood at the center, his imposing form radiating authority and power. Around him, representatives of various cosmic entities and abstract forces gathered, their expressions reflecting concern and curiosity.

The Living Tribunal's voice echoed through the chamber, commanding immediate attention. "We have convened this emergency meeting to address a matter of utmost importance. The Phoenix Force has fallen."

Gasps and murmurs spread through the assembly. The Phoenix Force was one of the most powerful entities in the cosmos, and its demise was a shocking revelation.

"The Phoenix is absent from this council," the Living Tribunal continued, his voice grave. "This is why she is not among us today. Her power, her essence, has been extinguished by Peter-Knull."

The Watchers, positioned towards the back, exchanged worried glances. They had seen many things, but this was unprecedented.

The Living Tribunal raised a hand for silence. "I have received orders from my higher authority, at the center of the multiverse. This cannot be allowed to continue. The actions of Peter-Knull and his lineage threaten the very fabric of our existence."

The assembly grew tense as the Living Tribunal's gaze swept over them. "We can no longer be divided by our petty squabbles. We must unite to restore the order we have upheld for eons. The time has come to put an end to Peter-Knull, his order, and all those of his lineage, once and for all."

As the Living Tribunal spoke, the Watchers noticed Mephisto standing unusually close to him. Mephisto, the malevolent lord of Hell, occasionally whispered things to the Living Tribunal, his presence casting a dark shadow over the proceedings.

Uatu, the Watcher, felt a deep sense of unease. He had seen many cosmic events unfold, but this alliance between the Living Tribunal and Mephisto was highly concerning. Summoning his courage, Uatu stepped forward. "Living Tribunal, if I may—"

"Hold your tongue!" the Living Tribunal snapped, his voice laced with uncharacteristic anger and impatience. The force of his words sent a wave of fear through the assembly, and Uatu felt an intense sensation of danger.

Uatu immediately backed off, sharing a look of alarm with his counterpart, Aron, the Rogue Watcher, who stood at the front. They both understood the implications: they needed to leave the presence of the Living Tribunal immediately.

Once outside the chamber, Uatu turned to Aron. "We must be very careful when dealing with the living tribunal… he's not the same being we once knew."

Aron nodded; his expression serious. "Agreed. We need to find a way to counter this threat. Peter-Knull and his allies have to be warned at the earliest opportunity."

But as they left the cosmic chambers, unknown to them, Mephisto watched from the shadows with a content look on his face.

"All the kings' horses and all the kings' men cannot put Humpty-Dumpty back together again…" he mused to himself as he had a feeling, he was going to like this cosmic shakeup he helped sow.

And he would come out on top, no matter what…
