The next morning Roman woke up early, as promised, to help Seth and Dean pack up the room. After getting up and quietly gathering the few things he had in Lucy's room, he carefully sat down on the bed next to where she was still sleeping.

"Lucy, sweetie," he said gently, running his fingers softly through her hair.

Her eyes slowly opened and she gave him a tired smile, tilting her head into his touch. Roman took a moment to drink her in- her curls were flying every which way and her green eyes caught the sunlight streaming in through the curtains. She was breathtaking, even first thing in the morning.

"Once we're all packed and checked out the guys and I are going to stop for breakfast before the drive home. Would you like to come with us?" he asked.

He knew that it wasn't really goodbye and that they'd be seeing each other in only a few days. But after spending every free moment they'd had together, leaving Lucy behind felt harder than he expected, and Roman wanted them to have as time much as they could for their farewells.

"Mmm," Lucy said with an easy nod before letting a yawn escape, "breakfast sounds good."

Roman smiled and bent down to kiss Lucy on the cheek.

"What do you say to meeting us in the lobby in two hours? It's still early, so you've got time to sleep a little more and get ready," he asked as he sat back up.

"Two hours it is," Lucy replied, sitting up slowly. She reached forward to wrap her fingers around the collar of Roman's t-shirt, pulling him closer to her and pressing her forehead to his, "can't let you leave without a proper goodbye, after all."

Roman grinned and filled the space left between them to place a soft peck on her lips. As his lips left hers, Lucy released the hold on his shirt and slid back into bed. Roman drew the blanket she'd brought from home up over her shoulders, his smile growing as he saw her quickly falling back to sleep.

The rest of the morning flew by far too quickly for Roman's liking. Seth, Dean, and he had packed up the room with little effort, having the routine down to a science by now. Now they were sitting with Lucy at the small diner across the street from the hotel sipping at the dregs of their morning coffee, chatting amiably as the waitress cleared off their plates.

"OK, big fella, as much as we hate to drag you away," Seth said as he slid out of the booth, followed by Dean, "it's time for us to hit the road."

"Yeah, yeah, I know," Roman said as he stood, flashing an apologetic look at Lucy, "gotta do what Mr. Architect says," he said to her as Lucy stood up beside him.

"He runs a pretty tight ship," Dean agreed with a nod before following Seth through the door.

The four of them walked back to the hotel lobby, stepping off to the side of the entrance. For a minute or two an awkward silence hung in the air.

"Hey, why don't we go grab the car and leave these two to their goodbyes?" Dean finally said, tapping the back of his hand against Seth's chest. He walked briskly over to Lucy and grabbed her in a bear bug, lifting her off of the sidewalk for a second before setting her back down, "We'll see you soon, little lady," he said over Lucy's surprised laugh.

"Hey, thanks for everything Dean," Lucy said as he released her, giving his arm an extra squeeze. Dean gave her a simple nod and a smile, letting his signature dimple poke out. Roman watched and smiled to himself at the quick bond the two of them had formed.

"Later, Lucy," Seth said, pulling her into a quick embrace before turning to follow Dean, "see you at the car, Uce."

Roman gave them a little salute and turned back to Lucy, his heartbeat picking up. In a matter of days Roman had gotten used to waking up with Lucy in bed next to him and he wasn't looking forward to being alone again. His brothers were the best company a guy could ask for, but after all of these years Roman could see what he'd been missing out on. Realistically he knew that once he was back in the car with Dean and Seth, and then quickly back on the road, that things would fall into place. But even so, he didn't feel ready to let this week go.

Lucy was leaning up against the building with her arms crossed in front of her, looking uncertain about what to say. She made no move to rush their goodbye, choosing instead to gaze at him thoughtfully. Seeing her so conflicted made Roman oddly calm, relieved that she clearly wanted him to stay just as badly as he wanted to.

"Is it sappy if I say I'm going to miss you?" Roman said, leaning against the wall facing her.

"Only because you said it first," Lucy said, a shy smile crossing over her face, "I'm going to miss you too, baby. I don't know how I'm going to fall asleep without my big Samoan teddy bear snoring next to me."

"I do not snore!" Roman said with a laugh, feeling some of the anxiety leave his body. He knew by now that Lucy was trying to keep the moment light, for both their sakes. He hoped that one day he'd be able to help her lower that guard, but he wouldn't push. He'd give her all the time she needed to be able to trust in him - in them- completely.

"As much as I want to keep prolonging the inevitable, I'd better say goodbye," Roman said, reaching forward to grab her waist and pull her into him. He wrapped Lucy up in his arms completely, holding her close to his chest and resting his chin on her head. He inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of her hair. After a long moment, Roman pulled back and lifted Lucy's chin gently so that he could look in her eyes.

"I know we're just getting started, but Lucy," he said, bracing himself to speak from his heart, "before I go, I want to thank you for this week. I have no intentions of letting you go any time soon, but no matter what happens, know that I'm going to remember these last few days for the rest of my life."

Lucy's eyes shone as she stared up at him, and he could see the range of emotions flashing through them. Surprise, elation and, if he wasn't mistaken, the tiniest bit of fear.

"Me too, Roman," she said, her voice a bit shaky, "you've rocked my world off of its axis, and I cannot honestly say that I can't wait to see where we go from here."

Roman gently stroked her lower back where one of his hands held her, hoping it would comfort and ground her. He felt her lean into his touch, her shoulders relaxing ever so slightly, and he bent down to place a gentle kiss on Lucy's lips as she wrapped her arms around his waist. She pressed her lips to his, and Roman tried to memorize the feeling. They held one another for a moment longer.

Roman carefully drew back and released Lucy, already missing her warmth.

"Bye, beautiful," he said, stepping away from her at a glacial pace, "I'll see you Monday."

"See ya, Superman," Lucy said with a grin that didn't quite erase the wistful look in her eyes, "oh! That reminds me," she said, her smile growing as she reached into her large purse, "one for the road."

She pulled out a Vitamin Water bottle and tossed it to him, and Roman caught it with ease. A smile spread over his face as he nodded in thanks and gave her one last wave before turning to walk down the sidewalk, making his way to the garage.

Thankfully for Roman, the next few days passed by quickly, too. Just as he'd hoped, once he was in his usual routine Roman fell into the groove. Dean and Seth had crashed with him before they all flew out of Tampa, not wanting to fly all the way home just to turn around and get on a plane again the next day. Before he knew it their loop was done and he was back home, settling in for a week off of the road.

It was Monday evening now and he was getting ready to go pick up Lucy for their date. The two of them had texted throughout the weekend and made plans, the anticipation building as each day passed. Roman settled on a deep blue button down shirt, rolling the sleeves up at the forearms. He paired the look with a pair of dark gray pants and black dress shoes and slicked his hair back into his usual bun. Spraying on a bit of cologne, Roman took a deep inhale to try and calm his nerves.

Even though they'd been out on a few dates, and practically lived together for a few days there, Roman felt like this would be their first real date. Being away from hotels, and his friends, and actually driving over to knock on Lucy's door to pick her up raised the stakes, and it reminded Roman of how long it had been since he'd done all of this. At his mom's insistence he had gone out with a few girls at the very start of his career at FCW, but when he realized that he just wanted to focus on wrestling, he had given up, not wanting to waste his time or theirs. He'd figured that was the job, and if he was going to end up a bachelor for life, or at least until his career slowed down, then that's just how it was going to be.

What was that saying about the best laid plans?

On his way to pick up Lucy, Roman stopped at a local florist and picked up a bouquet of sunflowers, remembering that they were her favorite flower from the conversation they'd had the first time they'd spent the night together. Roman realized with surprise that that had been a week ago now. It had been seven days and yet somehow it felt like it had been years, and also like it had only been a moment. Roman took another slow, steadying breath as he got back in the car and turned on the radio to settle his mind, and typed in Lucy's address into his phone.

She lived only about fifteen minutes away from the florist, and Roman quickly found himself pulling into a quaint apartment complex. There were several tall buildings laid out in a circle around a sprawling lake that had a walking path around it, scattered with benches and lamp posts. In between each building were tall oak trees with Spanish moss cascading down from their branches. Roman pulled up to her building and found a spot right next to Lucy's yellow bug, parking his car there before walking up the stairs to Lucy's apartment. He approached a blue door with a simple wreath of daisies hanging from it and knocked, holding the bouquet of flowers with one hand in front of his chest. Lucy opened the door a moment later wearing a long sleeved, dark purple dress that cut was in a deep v down her chest, the skirt soft and flowing to just above her knees. Her curls were swept to one side, and she wore the same golden moon necklace she'd worn on their museum date paired with a shorter matching chain of golden stars. The second she saw Roman her eyes lit up to match her bright smile.

"Hi, gorgeous," Roman said with a smile of his own, his heartbeat quickening at the sight of her. He was pretty sure that he could never forget how beautiful she was, but a few days away made seeing her in person all the better. He stepped forward and bent down to press his lips to hers, and Lucy instantly kissed him back, and he felt her slide one of her hands around his waist. He pulled back and she was looking up at him, her smile softer now.

"I missed you, babe," she said shyly, one finger fiddling with a strand of her hair. Her gaze shifted to the flowers that Roman had momentarily forgotten he was holding. "Oh, those are beautiful, Ro. Are they for me?"

"I remembered you saying they were your favorite," Roman answered with a nod, holding them out for her to take. Lucy's cheeks flushed ever so slightly and she nodded, taking the flowers from him.

"Thank you, I love them," Lucy said, "would you like to come in for a minute before we go?" she asked, stepping back from the doorway and holding the door open for him. Roman stepped into her apartment and his smile grew as he looked around the room before him. She had a large, overstuffed, soft pink velvet couch, with colorful blankets draped over the arms on either end and dark green throw pillows. On either side of her television there were two large bookshelves overflowing with books, notebooks, candles, and the occasional knick knack. The walls were covered in framed paintings and photographs, and just under the window was a fluffy dog bed where a white, brown, and orange dog was chewing intently on a toy. In true Florida fashion, the weather had taken a sudden turn and it was a cool, gray evening, and Lucy had lit several candles on a small table in the far corner of the room, filling the apartment with a warm smokey scent and casting a soft glow over everything. The room felt familiar- like Lucy. It felt like a home.

"Skipper, come say hi to Roman," Lucy called to her dog, kneeling down gently and patting her knee. The dog looked up and dropped her toy on the bed, bounding over quickly to them both with a wagging tail.

"Well hi there, cutie pie," Roman said, lowering himself to ruffle the eager pup's fur, "I've heard a lot about you. Oh, you're a sweet girl," he continued, his voice pitched up an octave higher than usual.

Lucy scratched Skipper's head and let out an easy laugh.

"I'm going to put these in some water," Lucy said, gesturing with the sunflowers and walking over to the kitchen. Roman nodded and turned his attention back to the excited sheltie, who was now laying on her back and wiggling her feet. Roman laughed and rubbed her belly.

"Look at you two, fast friends," Lucy said when she returned, placing the flowers in a dark green clear vase on the wooden coffee table that looked to be antique in front of her couch. She walked over to the small end table and blew out the candles before joining Roman in petting Skipper, kneeling beside him on the floor. Her arm brushed against his and he caught a hint of her perfume. Roman's heart swelled- it really was good to see her.

During their house show loop, Dean and Seth had nudged Roman in the ribs a few times when his face betrayed him daydreaming about Lucy. And they may have caught him looking at the pictures Seth took of them before their museum date once or twice. He was a hopeless case- he knew it, and he was more than okay with it.

After another minute of petting Skipper, Roman and Lucy stood up.

"OK, baby girl, mama's gotta go," Lucy said to the dog with one final scratch behind the ear, turning to Roman, "shall we?"

"After you, babe," Roman said with a grin, gesturing towards the door.

On the way to the car Lucy intertwined their hands, and Roman squeezed hers in return. They drove to the restaurant chatting about work and the past few days until Roman turned the car into a parking lot that butted up against the water. The sun had just dipped below the horizon and the twilight sky was aglow in colors of pink, purple, and orange. Roman got out of the car and walked around to open Lucy's door, holding his hand to her as she stepped out.

Roman led Lucy to the restaurant and held the door open for her, following her inside. The hostess greeted them and led them to a table on the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a small candle at its center flickering in the wind. She handed them each a menu and explained that the restaurant was tapas style, leaving them to look over their options.

"This place is lovely," Lucy said, looking up from her menu to the view and then back to Roman. There was a wooden roof hanging over them with string lights dangling from it, along with a scattering of small lanterns, "do you come here a lot?"

"Not a ton, but I've been here a few times over the years," Roman said with a nod, "Seth actually found it one night when we all still lived down here, he's always good for finding cool places like this. I think between all three of us we ordered everything on the menu that night and it was all fantastic, so you can't go wrong," he finished with a fond grin, remembering that fun night with his brothers.

"Ooh, good to know," Lucy said as she glanced back down at the menu. They both turned to look at the view again, the sky a deep purple as the water shimmered in the moonlight. The waitress came by to take their order, and after she brought their drinks Roman reached across to take Lucy's hand in his. She beamed at him, and a few of her curls danced in the breeze. Roman felt his stomach do a flip flop as he looked at her.

"So, I was thinking," Lucy said, stroking his hand absentmindedly, "since you're going to show me some of your favorite places, it's only fair that I get to show you some of mine, too. Are you up for more adventures this week?"

"Of course," Roman said. He had been hoping to spend as much time as possible, but he didn't want it to come off like he was obsessive. They had agreed to only take this as fast as they both wanted to go.

"Good, because I started a list, just in case," Lucy said, her expression turning from mildly timid to relaxed, "I didn't want to get ahead of myself, but I'm excited to show you my neck of the woods."

"As long as you're there, I'm game," Roman said, tapping his shoe against her leg for emphasis.

Dinner continued on as Lucy and Roman enjoyed each other's company, the conversation flowing easily as they picked up right where they left off in getting to know one another. Once their food was on the table there was barely enough room for their drinks - Roman had convinced Lucy that she had to try what she estimated to be at least half of the menu, insisting that he couldn't remember which dishes were his favorites. It was a bald faced lie and Lucy saw right through it, but she playfully rolled her eyes and let him order anyway.

"Mmm, this one, this is it," Lucy said after she swallowed a bite and took a sip of her Cava, pointing at the now empty plate, "the salmon and truffle honey. That's the winner."

"Yeah, I think you might be right," Roman said with a nod, "although these dates with the goat cheese are a close second."

The conversation slowed a bit as they ate, focusing mainly on the food. Once they had finally had their fill, Roman paid the bill and the two of them went down a ramp from the terrace to a connected pier over the bay. Roman took Lucy's hand in his own as they walked, and she leaned into his arm. They reached the end of the pier, and Roman followed Lucy's eyes to see an elderly couple sitting on a bench looking at the water, the man's arm wrapped around the woman's shoulder. She shifted her gaze back to Roman and he returned her affectionate smile, knowing that they were sharing the same thought. Neither of them was going to say it out loud, but they didn't need to.

That could be us someday.

Roman pulled Lucy into him, staring into her eyes and tucking a curl that was blowing in the wind behind her ear. Her eyes softened and for a minute the two of them stayed like that, holding each other's gaze, listening to the waves crashing against the shore. Lucy placed one hand on Roman's bicep and tilted her mouth up towards him. Needing no convincing, Roman brought her even closer to him and dropped his mouth to hers. Her lips were so soft and inviting, and her tongue swept along his bottom lip. Roman parted his lips to let her in, their tongues dancing together. Roman's head was spinning as they kissed for what might have been a minute or maybe it was an entire day- he couldn't tell and didn't care.

They finally broke apart, both panting a little. Lucy looked around and Roman followed suit when Lucy let out a relieved laugh.

"I'm glad they're gone, that was quite a show we just put on," Lucy said before resting her head against Roman's chest.

"True," Roman said as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, turning them to face the water, "we don't want to be responsible for sending them into cardiac arrest."

As they stood and watched the moon reflecting off of the gentle waves, Roman felt a few drops fall out of the sky and land on them. Lucy must have too, as she looked to the sky and moved to stand up completely.

"We should probably get to the car to beat the downpour," Roman said, grabbing Lucy's hand again.

"Let's go," Lucy agreed, and the two of them made their way quickly back down the pier and into Roman's car.

They did not beat the downpour.

Roman pulled into a spot back at Lucy's, this one further across the parking lot as more cars had filled in as the night went on. The second Roman closed Lucy's car door behind her, the rain picked up hard and fast. Lucy let out a tiny surprised scream and grabbed Roman's hand, running carefully toward her building. They stopped briefly a few times to watch for cars as the rain drops pelted them, soaking them through their clothes. They finally made it to the staircase and Roman followed Lucy as she darted up. She slipped a little on the top step and Roman grabbed her around the waist, steadying them both. Lucy turned back to smile at him gratefully, droplets of rain running down her face. Once they were at her door, Lucy quickly turned the lock and let them both inside. They stopped inside the doorway and looked at each other, both bursting into laughter. Lucy's dress was completely wet and clinging to her body, and her curls dripped on either side of her face. The water shone on her neck and chest, and the makeup around her eyes had smeared just a little bit.

She was absolutely perfect.

Roman felt his own clothes sticking to himself, and he knew that despite the bun his hair was soaked through too. He reached up and pulled his hair out of his hair tie and shook it out, letting it fall over his shoulders.

Lucy's gaze shifted from amused to heated, and he watched as she let her eyes wander down to where his shirt was clinging to his chest.

"Come on," Lucy said as she returned her eyes to his, taking his hand and pulling him down a short hallway to a sliding glass door. Roman dutifully followed her out as she opened the door and led him onto a covered porch. The rain was still pouring down all around them, and in the darkness Roman could faintly make out that the porch was surrounded by trees blowing softly in the storm.

"We can leave our clothes out here to dry off," Lucy said, reaching back to unzip her dress slowly, maintaining eye contact with him.

"Yes, ma'am," Roman said, his voice a deep rumble in his chest. Never one to back down from a challenge, Roman matched her searing gaze and began to unbutton his shirt. Lucy's eyes tracked his hands hungrily as his chest came into full view, wet from the rain, then looked back to his eyes as her dress hit the ground.

She smiled boldly as she unhooked her bra and laid it over the back of one of the chairs. Roman eyes rested on her breasts, her nipples peaked and raindrops sliding down over her skin and trailing down to her hips. He let out a tiny groan and continued to undress, sliding his shirt off his shoulders and setting it next to Lucy's bra before moving to his belt. He saw Lucy's eyes follow his hands, and he started to breathe more heavily, feeling warm despite the chill in the November air. He slowly unbuckled his belt as Lucy bent down to step out of her shoes, her eyes never leaving Roman. As he slid his pants down and off, Lucy stood upright and slid her panties down. She dropped them on the chair and faced Roman as rivulets of rain dripped down her hair, and cascaded across her completely naked body. Roman groaned again as he slid out of his boxer briefs, his eyes transfixed on Lucy's pale skin, a distant streetlight shining on her through the shadows of the trees. His cock sprang free as his last article of clothing joined hers.

Lucy and Roman stared at one another, both of them glistening and breathing heavily. There was a sudden crash of thunder, followed quickly by a flash of lightning, and then they were moving in unison.

Roman and Lucy closed the gap between them, their mouths crashing into one another. Roman kissed Lucy with urgency and felt her pressing her breasts against his abs, the rain that lingered on their bodies creating the most delicious sensation. Roman moved his mouth to her neck, wrapping his arm around her waist to pull her impossibly closer to him. Lucy let out a soft moan as he pushed her up against the glass door, not letting up as he pressed hot kisses into her skin.

"Let's take this inside," Lucy said breathlessly, making no move to break their contact.

Roman laid one more kiss on her neck before meeting her eyes and nodding, his eyes heavy with want. He stepped back to let Lucy lead the way and she moved to the side to open what Roman realized was a second sliding door, this one leading into her bedroom. He followed her inside and as soon as she closed the door behind them, Lucy turned to claim Roman's mouth with her own once again. Her mouth was soft and warm and everything about the way her body felt against his hands was so goddamn perfect.

Lucy moaned softly again into his mouth and Roman bent down to grab her around her thighs and wrap her legs around his waist, never breaking their kiss. Lucy wrapped her hands around the back of neck and pushed up against him, the peaks of her nipples setting his skin on fire. He walked them over to Lucy's bed and laid Lucy down on her back, joining her on the bed to lay over her. Lucy slid her mouth from his lips to his chest, her lips and tongue tracing his inked skin as her hand lingered along his stomach. Roman closed his eyes and let his head fall forward to appreciate her ministrations before opening them again to look at her, not wanting to miss a moment of the way the soft lights from her porch made patterns with the rainfall that danced across Lucy's skin.

Lucy brought her face back up to him and Roman opened his mouth to let her in, both of their tongues sliding against one another. His hands slid over her ass and down her thighs, then up to breasts and around her neck. They stayed that way for a while, mouths and hands exploring one another, their bodies entangled together. Roman released her mouth to catch his breath and opened his eyes to look into hers, pressing his forehead against her, letting his hair fall around them. Slowly, Roman slid his hand down her stomach, his finger coming to rest on her dripping pussy. Lucy released a small breath and let her leg fall open, a clear invitation, and stared into his eyes in anticipation. Roman began to stroke her clit, and Lucy's eyes fell shut as her head fell against the pillow. She let out a hum of approval and Roman bent his head to take her nipples in his mouth, licking slowly over each one, working it over with his tongue and teeth. Lucy continued to moan as Roman savored her, taking his time to appreciate every inch of her unbelievably smooth skin. He increased the pace of his finger running across her swollen clit, and Lucy's moans grew as she slid a hand into his hair, holding his mouth to where he continued exploring her. He was alternating between her breasts, occasionally sliding his mouth up to her neck or down to stomach before returning to her nipples. He could feel her wetness increasing as her moans got louder, and Roman knew she was getting close. He placed a kiss on her sternum as her legs started to quiver beneath him and he lifted his head to watch her face- he didn't want to miss it. A moment later Lucy was coming, a loud moan escaping her as she bucked her hips and her eyes squeezed shut, letting herself come undone completely. Roman kept his fingers moving as she rode out her orgasm and her moans quieted, her eyes fluttering open to look at him.

Roman reached his hand up to brush against her cheek, staring deep into her eyes, admiring her flushed cheeks and shining eyes. Lucy's breaths were labored as she stared back at him, a euphoric smile on her face.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you look falling apart for me?" Roman asked her huskily, and she softly shook her head. He bent down to place a soft kiss on her lips, pulling back after a moment to let her catch her breath and shifting so that his head was next to hers against the headboard. Her breathing eased, and Roman listened to the rain that was still pounding heavily against the roof above them.

The moment was just that, and before he knew it, Lucy had claimed Roman's mouth again, her urgency not ebbing in the slightest. He kissed her back, the heat between them growing and growing. Roman moaned into Lucy's mouth as she wrapped her hand around him, giving him a few tantalizing strokes. He thrusted his cock slowly into her hand and reached around to grab a handful of her ass. Lucy stroked him a few more times, then shifted so that she was lying more completely on her back against the bed, pulling Roman gently so that he was lying on top of her.

Roman felt Lucy spread her legs beneath him, and he settled himself on the bed between them. He broke their kiss momentarily to meet her eyes, finding desire in them that matched his own. Lucy's smile grew and she gave him a small nod, and Roman could swear his heart was going to beat out of his chest. Roman shifted his hips so that his cock lined up with Lucy's entrance, groaning at her wetness, his eyes never leaving hers as he slowly pushed inside. They both moaned at the friction, and once Roman's cock was buried deep inside her pussy, Lucy rolled her eyes closed and let her head fall. Roman gasped as he felt her pussy wrapped around his cock, gripping around him so warm, and tight, and like everything he knew it would be, while also feeling better than he could have ever imagined.

He took a second for them both to adjust before he slowly began to slide out and back into Lucy. She moaned and opened her eyes to stare into his, biting down on her lip and holding his biceps, her nails pressing small crescents into his tanned skin. He fucked her slowly, rhythmically for a few minutes, relishing every feeling - her pussy gripping his cock, her legs sliding against his, the sound of her moans in his ear. His heart thumped wildly in his chest as he realized he wanted to do this every day, maybe for the rest of his life.

"Fuck, Roman, that feels so fucking good," Lucy said, and Roman moaned and increased his pace. He bent his head to kiss along her chest as pumped his cock in and out of Lucy, groaning her name as she squeezed him. Lucy wrapped her one of her legs around his, and Roman lifted up her other by the knee to change the angle, fucking harder and deeper into her now. Lucy's moans got impossibly louder and her pussy tightened around him, and Roman knew she was about to reach her second orgasm.

"Yes, baby, come on," Roman said, the exquisite pressure on his cock making him see stars as he kept up his pace, "Come, baby." He bent down to gently bite at her nipple and after another few strokes, she was there.

"Roman, fuck! Oh my god," she yelled as she came, her legs shaking as she arched her back, one hand still on Roman's bicep while the other tangled in his hair, holding him to her chest. He decided at that moment that there was no better sound in the world than his name from her lips. Roman temporarily slowed his thrusts, letting Lucy's orgasm run its course.

Once her moans subsided, Roman's hips moved faster, his cock intently fucking into Lucy's dripping wet pussy and he gritted out her name, letting it become a mantra on his lips. Lucy let a mewl into his ear and he snapped his hips, lifting his head to hover just above her forehead, his breaths becoming harder and harder fought as his moans increased.

"Lucy, baby, I'm gonna-" he said in warning, feeling his orgasm coiling in his stomach.

"Come for me, Ro. I want to feel it," Lucy said, barely above a whisper as her soft moans continued. Roman gave a sharp thrust and he was coming, pushing his cock as deep as possible into Lucy as he did, a strangled moan escaping him as felt himself release inside of her. Lucy moaned in time with him, and Roman gave a few more gentle thrusts until his orgasm subsided, finally stilling his hips and collapsing on top of her.

Lucy and Roman laid pressed together for a minute, their bodies slick with sweat and rain, both of them breathing heavily. Lifting his head, Roman placed a kiss on the tip of Lucy's nose before gently easing himself out of her, both of them groaning from the sensitive friction. Roman moved so that he was laying beside Lucy, and he laid his arm lazily across her hip.

He looked to Lucy's eyes and was relieved to see a blissful look on her face, a look he wanted to give her over and over again.

"That was just-" Lucy began, resting her hand against his chest, "- it was everything that I hoped it would be," she finished, still breathing a little heavy.

"I could not have imagined how amazing that would be," Roman said, placing his hand over hers, "I don't think you'll ever stop surprising me," he finished with a sincere smile.

Lucy scooted closer to Roman and he pulled her into him, resting her head against his chest and wrapping her in his arms. They stayed that way for a long time, basking in the afterglow. Roman reached down to grab the hem of Lucy's sheet and dragged it to cover both of them, and Lucy rolled back on her side to face him.

"You know, it's really not fair that you look so perfect all the time," Lucy said as she reached up and brushed a stray hair off of his face, "you're somehow even more gorgeous after running through a rainstorm and then fucking me senseless."

"In my defense," Roman said through a laugh, "I'm pretty sure my hair has gotten at least a little puffy by now, and you have no room to talk. I've never had someone take my breath away the way you did standing out there on the balcony."

Lucy's cheeks flushed again and stroked her fingers down his arm, which he understood to be a silent "thank you."

"I'm going to get us some water," Lucy said, leaning forward to press a kiss on the center of Roman's chest before sliding out of the bed. As she rose, she let the sheets around her fall onto the mattress. Roman let his eyes wander slowly up and down her body.

"Is there anything else you'd like?" Lucy asked, and he shifted his gaze up her face, where she was wearing a knowing grin.

"Only that you get back here as fast as humanly possible," Roman said, his face heating slightly from being caught as he admired her. Lucy nodded and made her way out of the bedroom.

While she was in the kitchen, Roman took the opportunity to take in the bedroom that he had been too occupied to look at earlier. The walls in here were painted a forest green, and she had more framed artwork covering the wall across from him. Her nightstands were actually a set of small bookshelves, filled with even more books and notebooks. There was an assortment of pens scattered on top of the one to his right, alongside a partially burnt candle in an intricate metal holder.

Lucy came back in and handed Roman a glass of water. She took a sip of her own and set it on the nightstand with the pens before crawling into the bed. She curled back onto her side facing him as Roman sipped his drink, and she pulled the sheet up to rest on her waist. Roman set his drink down and turned back to face Lucy, noticing the ethereal way she resembled a few of the paintings on her walls with the sheet draped around her, leaving her chest exposed, with her hair flowing down her side. He pointed at one such painting hanging in the center of the gallery wall across from them.

"That looks just like you, right there," Roman said, "in fact, if you told me that was you, I'd believe you right now," Lucy looked to follow his eyes and let out a small laugh.

"Once again, you are far too sweet," Lucy said, her face covered in a warm pink blush now, "I bought that painting in St. Pete, it's actually a great story…"

And so their night went on as Roman and Lucy spent the next few hours wrapped up in one another.

Roman asked Lucy about every piece of artwork on her walls as he laid with his head resting on her thigh, looking up at her as she spoke. Lucy vividly described all of the local artists and the different museums she had visited.

As Lucy tucked a hand under her chin on Roman's stomach, she traced the tattoo along his chest and down his arm with her index finger and asked about its meaning. Roman explained the long standing traditions of his Samoan heritage, pointing out the different patterns and how they were all woven together.

Lucy shared a few poems she had written from the notebooks from her nightstand while Roman closed his eyes to listen, softly playing with her hair as she laid back against chest.

Roman told her all about the crushing time in his life when his football dreams didn't pan out, laying face to face with Lucy, propped up on his elbow, their legs tangled together underneath her wonderfully soft sheets.

Somewhere around midnight, Lucy and Roman had just shared a tender kiss when Lucy climbed on top of him. She pressed her lips to his collarbone and slid her hand to rest on his hip, meeting his dark gaze with her own. Roman answered her silent question by placing his hands firmly on her hips, guiding her until she hovered over his aching cock. She slid down on him and they moaned in unison, and Roman refused to take his eyes away from her. Her eyes burned when she looked down at him as she slid up and down on his cock, her mouth held open as her drawn out moans escaped. Her wild curls were framing her face, large breasts bouncing as her pussy squeezed perfectly around him. It was slower but even more intense, more sensual than the first time, and neither of them lasted very long.

After they recovered with more languid kisses and soft touches, Lucy and Roman kept talking through the night and into the early morning, stopping occasionally to steal a kiss or shift the positions in which they held each other. Roman didn't remember either of them falling asleep, but when his eyes opened sometime in the early morning, the sun was just beginning to rise, and he knew it had only been an hour or two. As quietly as he could, Roman slipped out of the bed to draw the curtains closed, darkening the bedroom before wrapping himself around Lucy and falling back into his dreams.
