The next morning, Lancex woke and found himself with Optimus on his back side and Predaking on the front. The hot breath was a bit much sometimes in the morning, but Lancex hadn't gotten used to it. He carefully extracted himself from his lovers and headed out of the room, as there was much to be done in preparation for what was to happen later.
As Lancex made his way to the kitchen, he spotted Bumblebee stumbling around and seemingly looking for something, "can I help you, Bumblebee?" Lancex asked, startling the bot just a bit.
"First, I wanted to say thank you for allowing my mates and I to stay here. We know so little of this world. Secondly, I'm a bit famished. Can you whip up a little something to tide me over for a bit?" Bee asked, a genuine smile on his faceplates.
"Sure can" Lancex replied and he quickly brewed some coffee. Bee wasn't sure at first as it looked like drinking oil, but upon trying it, he found it tasted pretty good. Bee and Lancex chatted a bit before they were soon joined by Optimus. "Care for some, Optimus?" Lancex asked. Optimus wasn't sure, but accepted the offered cup. He too thought it looked like drinking oil, but he was also pleasantly surprised how good the coffee tasted, though he could also see why some people might not like it as this seemed like pretty strong stuff.
The three began conversing and just talking about various things before Megatronus, Dreadwing, and Predaking entered the kitchen. All three were greeted warmly and offered the coffee. Predaking took it and scarfed his down right away while Megatronus and Dreadwing preferred to sip on the strong, dark liquid. "So what are you guys up today?" Bee asked, curious as to what there was to do around here.
"Optimus, Predaking and I are going out a special date" Lancex replied, not wanting to tell where they were headed.
"What are we going to do while you go off on your date?" Megatronus asked, a bit worried.
"You three are going to spend time with my friends – Cid, Cor, and Galdiolus. They will help teach you history of this place and also help you find weapons that you can use while you are here" Lancex explained. All nodded, and soon breakfast was cleaned up. Bee and his mates headed to where Lacnex's friends were while Lancex took Optimus and Predaking in his car and headed for elsewhere.
