Part 3

At the Green Dragon Inn, the tween arrived
To settle the score with a drunken Halfling
To the tween who vexed and strived
While the adult hobbit, who spent his time baffling

For hours on end
Concerned with how he was cleverer
The tween was at her wits' end, spent
Less time on sobs stories, mellower

The tween forced the drunken hobbit to a fight
While she rode on a pony, out of sight
The tween searched for Frodo Baggins
In hopes he would return, ageless

Frodo explored Paris, France
Little time, he found a stand
Fruits and vegetables, bought
By the dozens, his hunger stopped

As he approached the marketplace
He could smell turkey basting
From a closed window, he was not alone
The woman stood near an iron stone

Made from silver and gold
Why had she followed him, this far?
The Shire was his first home
Yet he could see her, a fallen star

Swiftly, the hobbit woman took him by the hand
Away from the market, nowhere near the beach sand
Where Frodo's thoughts sought out that morning
He needed to get away, without feeling sorry

For her, the seductress who haunted his dreams
Since his birthday, turning twelve years old
The evening his parents had died, he would meet
The woman once that year – so heartless and cold
