Humanity has long since recovered from the effects of the Human-Covenant War, beginning to resettle and rebuild. However a chance encounter with an alien artifact and following contact with the Council leads humanity and the rest of the Milky Way into a twisting conspiracy forging unexpected alliances between each race.
