Hey folks! Welcome back to "Through the Rough"! We're close to closing out Season 5's adaptation, which is just going to be a few more chapters. For those wondering, yes, I am going to adapt World Heroes' Mission for this story. It'll be around 10 chapters, similar to the adaptations of the other movies.
But before we get to that, we need to wrap up Season 5 first! And that starts with this chapter here! Enjoy!
THROUGH THE ROUGH
Several hooded figures stood along the long hallway, overseeing the arrival of Saintfire Nox as she trotted along the path she was being led down. Joined with her were Yor and Wakana, with the latter wearing a general work outfit consisting of a blue suit jacket and pants, with a simple white shirt underneath. He also wore wooden sandals and a white headband. He nervously looked around at the people standing about the hall.
"Saintfire…?" he said, trying to get the Oracion Seis member's attention.
"It's alright, Wakana," she assured, "They won't make a move so long as we don't," she affirmed confidently. It wasn't long before her and her cohorts arrived in an open hall that appeared to be a foyer. Upon the ceiling was the depiction of a beastly chimera, with its body being an amalgamation of different animals. It was in the large room that appeared to be a foyer, with bookshelves on the walls and several hooded people with metal masks. They all had symbols on their cloaks of a six-leafed clover, standing amongst each other with their left hands over their stomachs in solidarity.
"So this is Humarise…" Yor noted aloud in a whisper, while Wakana let a drop of sweat roll down the side of his face. Nox came to a stop, tapping her scepter against the floor.
"I am here to see Flect Turn," she confirmed to a pair of hooded figures in front of her. They remained stationary. "Is he not present at this time?" she inquired curiously, narrowing her eyes. All of a sudden, she found herself surrounded by bellow sword-like blades, whipping close to her body. They originated from the two figures before her, who grinned deviously.
"You really think you're in a position to make requests?" one of them asked.
"Don't be naïve…" the other one commented. Both men were of average build and fair skin with bowl-cut indigo hair, yellow reptilian eyes with dark purple markings surrounding them, and a set of large fangs. They each wore a simple red and white tunic with gray, presumably snake skin, boots. Nox seemed hardly intimidated.
"You're in no position to make demands of me," she retorted. Without warning, the twins suddenly found themselves seize up as their tunics tightened on them. Threads of their clothes were in the grasp of Wakana, who held them firmly as Yor dashed over, placing her hands onto the chests of her foes.
"I'm certain you're aware of my Quirk, yes?" she inquired of them, causing them to grimace in fright. The other hooded figures began converging onto the Oracion Seis member and her cohorts. There was a long silence between them.
"That's enough," another voice chimed in, getting their attentions. Up upon the second level of the foyer, a figure walked into view. Nox narrowed her eyes. The arriving person was a tall and slim man with luminescent light blue skin, a shaved head of dark blue hair, and a goatee mustache and arrow-shaped earrings. He wore a long white cloak with dark red parts inside. The reflective floor beneath his feet revealed that there were disks upon his clothes, containing some type of luminescent energy. The masked figures below all stood to attention as he stepped forward, standing at the railing. "Tell your colleagues to stand down, please," he requested of the Oracion Seis member.
"…As you wish," she obliged, nodding to Yor and Wakana. The former removed her hands from the twins, while the latter released the threads in his grasp. Their foes retracted their whip-like blades, reforming their arms.
"Come with me," Flect requested as he walked down the staircase. Nox and her colleagues followed, leaving the other Humarise members behind in the foyer. Eventually, they had arrived in a study with a coffee table that a chess set upon it and two chairs. The Oracion Seis member also noticed another woman in the room with short mint green hair and sharp eyes of the same color.
She wore a gray sleeveless combat suit, with a mask obscuring the lower part of her face. Strapped to her back was a white quiver carrying arrows. Accompany her suit were bulky, cream-colored boots, and a green hooded cape with a red arrow fletching pinned to the left side of the hood. On her right hand was a burgundy red glove, and on her left the index finger was wrapped in the same material.
"Don't mind Beros," the Humarise leader advised as he removed his cloak, revealing that he wore a red robe underneath with a golden belt and two glove-like prosthesis accompanied with finger tips. His pants were also grey and he wore combat boots. His clothes had small disks around them in which a bio-luminescent energy was contained. "You have your protection at your side, don't you?" he inquired of Nox, who narrowed her eyes. She removed her own robe, allowing for Yor to take it. Both she and Flect sat down at the coffee table.
"Now then…" she began, reaching over to grab one of the white pawns upon the chessboard, "what did you wish to discuss with us?" she inquired, moving the piece forward. Flect grabbed a pawn of his own, pushing it up a space.
"The Saintfires' goal and ours happen to align, do they not?" he presumed back, while Nox moved another pawn forward, "Our forces are many, but are spread too thin," he pointed out, sliding a bishop across the board, "I would like to personally enlist you in our ranks," he requested, "You would be in charge of seeing to our goals being completed in Japan," he told her, "And as such, I trust that you would also bring your colleagues along to—" The Oracion Seis member put her right hand up, enticing him to stop talking. She moved her own bishop.
"Your goal to eliminate Quirks from the world is something we align with?" she inquired to his surprise as he blinked.
"I believe it is…" Flect responded. He then moved up one of his knights.
"Hm," Nox huffed, "You're mistaken," she confirmed.
"How so?" the Humarise leader inquired. He watched as his counterpart moved another pawn up two spaces.
"Our goal to rid this world of Quirks does align, yes," she confirmed, "But our methods rely not upon senseless violence and cruelty," she pointed out.
"Hm," Flect hummed out curiously, moving a rook up, "We're only showing the world the truth of the meta abilities' curse…" he noted.
"Yet you don't search for a cure to this 'curse'…" Nox retorted. She knocked over a pawn with her own.
"Sometimes, a cure requires a taste of the disease…" the Humarise leader proclaimed, using his bishop to claim one of his counterpart's pawns.
"I don't believe that," she argued, "Would you be willing to bear the sin of killing millions in order to save those who weren't born with Quirks?" she questioned, moving her own bishop to knock over her opponent's, "Would you be willing to do away with your own life to preserve that ideal?" she questioned on, seeing Flect claim one of her pawns with his rook, followed by her taking it with her own.
"Huh…" Flect sighed, "You're far too sentimental," he said.
"Quirks are problematic, shaping our lives into ways we cannot control until it's far too late…" Nox told him, "But whether or not someone has a Quirk, that shouldn't give us the right to take their lives," she declared, seeing her counterpart move another pawn, which she quickly claimed with her knight, "Those who deserve death should be ones who cause strife in our world," she stated, "And putting an end to that strife will come in due course," she added firmly.
"Yes, you've spoken of this," the Humarise leader noted in remembrance, taking a moment to think about his next move, "The Leaper, was it?" he guessed, earning a nod from the Oracion Seis member, "Do you really believe her power will reverse meta abilities?" he questioned.
"I know it will," Nox answered, watching carefully as Flect moved his queen up, "She may have yet to understand her role, but she will," she vowed. She moved her own queen around. The next few minutes were filled with careful plays from the pair upon the chessboard. Ultimately, the Oracion Seis member sacrificed her queen in order to position her pieces to pincer her opponent's king. He exhaled a sigh.
"I suppose that's checkmate," he realized, standing up, "Know that we won't be backing down on our goals," he told Nox, who got onto her feet as Yor came over to give her robes back, "But also know that we won't be taking any action against you," he mentioned.
"I appreciate that very much," the Oracion Seis member responded, putting on her miter, "We'll be going now," she declared, heading off alongside her colleagues. Flect narrowed his eyes as the doors closed behind the departing group.
"Sir…" Beros chimed in, "Is it wise for us to let them leave, knowing our plans?" she inquired of him.
"You needn't concern yourself, Beros," Flect assured, "It'll only be a matter of time before they see the truth," he affirmed, walking over to a bookshelf and pulling out a red hardcover, "Not everything can be solved peacefully…" he pointed out, looking at the cover, which read 'QUIRK DOOMSDAY THEORY'.
OPENING
Insert "Kaibutsu" by Tani Yuuki
Opens with Rebecca getting into her winter costume, donning her cat ears and blue jacket before stepping out of the locker room. She smiles as she spots Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto, and Homura, as they're all gathered at the Endeavor Agency together. They walk into the main office, finding themselves greeted by Endeavor, Burnin, and the other sidekicks, ready to start another day of work.
We see the five interns struggling to keep up with Endeavor as he speeds ahead, saving lives and stopping villains. For a moment, he hesitates upon thinking of his family laughing at the dinner table without him. Meanwhile, Gowen is hanging out in an abandoned warehouse with Elsie and the rest of the crew, glancing out a window to see the Flame Hero he once worked under acting like more of a hero than he remembers. He turns away to gather with his colleagues, whom all don't notice the smirk on Jesse's face.
Elsewhere, Madame Kurenai marvels at the sight of the red mech suit being built for her, with her cohorts standing behind her. Nino grimaces worriedly before looking away. We get shots of the Paranormal Liberation Front, including Tomura as he enters a vat and closes his eyes, being sent into a deep slumber. Dabi is out in the city, overlooking how Endeavor and his interns are faring in fending off villains.
Katsuki blasts himself away from Baku, who swings blades of energy his way from his axe. Izuku protrudes his Blackwhip from his right arm, imitating Spider-Man as he swings about while evading the many Punishers heading his way. They're shot down by Rebecca, who winks with a grin before taking care of more foes.
Next, we find a scene of Homura coming face-to-face with Kurenai for the first time, as she opens her arms to welcome her. However, Shoto suddenly steps in between them, igniting the flames on his left side threateningly. Kurenai smirks, hopping into her mech as it towers over the two U.A. students. They take ready stances before starting a battle.
There are shots of Deadend Crow, Poseidon Shura, Tomura Shigaraki, God Acnoella, Elsie Crimson, and Saintfire Nox, as they all give off ominous auras. We also see the likes of Justice, Mirko, Holy, Eraser, Feather, and Cure, though the latter looks away. There's also shots of the other students on their internships, with Kleene and Ochaco flying alongside Nejire and Ryukyu, with Tsuyu riding aboard the Dragoon Hero's back. Weisz, Eijiro and Tetsutetsu gorge on takoyaki with Fat Gum, while Tamaki sulks in the corner, unable to keep up with their energy.
Kyoka and Mezo are interning under Gang Orca with Laguna and Hitoshi. The Tears Lover Quirk user notices that Kyoka's home screen on her phone is a picture of her and Rebecca from the school concert, which she blushes at. She yelps in embarrassment upon realizing that Laguna saw, while Mezo and Hitoshi blink in confusion. Shiki flies alongside Fumikage as they soar after Hawks, who's lost in thought over whatever the Paranormal Liberation Front is up to.
The song winds down with the interns at Endeavor's agency taking a much-needed break, having snacks and drinks atop the building's roof together. Rebecca lovingly leans against Izuku's shoulder, while Homura winds up holding hands with Shoto as they stare at the sunset together. Katsuki scoffs and trudges away, but not before taking one last glance at Rebecca and letting off the tiniest of smiles.
END OPENING
"Bang! Bang!" Anya exclaimed repeatedly holding a toy gun as she was peering out from a barricade of blocks in the playroom.
"Ah, you got me!" Mirio yelped as he toppled over, laughing all the while.
"I'll save you, Lemillion!" Eri declared as she lunged over and playfully tackled the Telepath Quirk, making the barricade of blocks collapse upon them. They both got up, laughing happily. Watching nearby were Loid, Shota, Tamaki, and Nejire.
"Aw, they're so cute~!" the Surge Quirk user noted happily.
"Eri looks like she's been getting a lot better…" Tamaki pointed out.
"Yeah," the U.A. teacher confirmed with crossed arms, "It's mostly thanks to the support she's gotten from all of you and her little friend there," he mentioned as Eri chased Anya around the room.
"How about her training?" Loid asked curiously, getting Shota's attention, "Yor mentioned that she was having trouble with control over her power," he pointed out.
"Progress is steady," the teacher replied, "We've been having her practice with insects and lizards," he told the Disguise Quirk user, "She's been doing well, for the most part," he added, "But the problem becomes whether or not it can work in specific ways," he mentioned further, "Like getting Togata his Quirk back," he said.
"I'm sure it'll work," Tamaki chimed in confidently to everyone's surprise, "Eri's motivated to help us out," he recalled, "I know she won't give up," he affirmed.
"Amajiki…" Nejire uttered out. The Manifest Quirk user tensed up, blushing as he turned away.
"I mean… I'm sure that's what she really wants…" he presumed, "I wanna go home…" he mumbled in embarrassment.
"Huh…" Shota sighed. Loid looked on at the pair of little girls merrily playing about without a care in the world.
'Seems things are going well for Eri,' he noted to himself, letting off a little smile, 'At this rate, we probably won't have to come visit her as often…' he mentioned inwardly. At that moment, he heard whimpering, causing him to perk up. He gasped upon seeing his daughter crying.
"Whoa, what's wrong?" Nejire asked worriedly, "Did you stub your toe? Get a stomachache?" she listed off in question. Loid put his right hand onto his face out of exasperation.
'Of course, I'd rather not make Anya unhappy…' he admitted through his thoughts. Hearing that, the Telepath Quirk user started smiling again.
"I'm a-okay!" she declared with a thumbs-up to Nejire.
"Wow, that was a fast recovery!" she remarked.
"Eri, let's draw stuff!" Anya insisted of the horned girl, getting her attention.
"Okay!" she responded excitedly, hurrying over to the small table with pieces of paper and crayons upon it.
"By the way…" Shota began, getting Loid's attention, "I'm surprised that your wife isn't the one making the time for these playdates now," he pointed out to him, narrowing his eyes slightly, "What changed?" he asked curiously.
"Oh, she had a business trip out of the country, and we couldn't find a sitter for Anya," the Disguise Quirk user answered, "Luckily, I managed to get some vacation time to help look after her," he confirmed.
"I see," the U.A. teacher responded.
"I'm glad to see that Eri's become more comfortable in this environment," Loid added, "Though from what I've heard, there's a certain someone she wants to see around more often…" he noted with his right hand upon his chin.
"Bluegarden, yeah," Shota confirmed, "It's hard to have her come by and visit when she needs to focus on both her studies and training," he explained, causing Eri to perk up, "But I'll try to pull some strings and get her over here," he vowed. The horned girl beamed excitedly. Elsewhere on campus, the Cat Leaper Quirk user let out a cute sneeze.
"Bless you," Kyoka said, standing side by side with her in the locker room as they and the other girls were changing into their costumes.
"Thanks…" Rebecca responded gratefully, zipping up the rest of her costume, "Ugh…" she groaned.
"You okay?" the Earphone Jack Quirk user asked in concern, "You've been acting a bit weird ever since the weekend…" she pointed out, "Did… you and Midoriya… actually do something for Valentine's Day?" she inquired, blushing a little as she twirled her left earphone jack in her pointer finger.
"N-No!" her ash blonde-haired classmate stammered, "We just worked with Endeavor the whole day before coming back to class…" she told her.
'Along with finding out about Shoto and Homura…' she mentioned inwardly. She glanced over to the Soul Blade Quirk user, who was putting on her costume as well. She seemed content. That gave Rebecca some peace, making her smile. 'I guess it worked out in the end, though…' she remarked inwardly.
"Hey, Homura…" Tsuyu chimed in, getting the Soul Blade Quirk user's attention as she shut her locker door, "I think there's something on your neck…" she pointed out. Blinking, Homura pushed aside her hair, revealing a distinct array of red spots across her neck down to her clavicle. She and Rebecca blushed a bright red.
"Whoa, what the heck?" Mina said upon noticing.
"What are those?" Momo inquired curiously.
"They look like… hick—"
"They're burns!" Rebecca exclaimed before Toru could utter another syllable as she dashed over.
"Burns?" Ochaco repeated in confusion.
"Y-Yeah…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user stammered, "Homura accidentally got too close to Endeavor during one of our missions and wound up with these…" she pointed out, "But don't worry, she's fine…" she assured.
"Um… yes, of course…" the Soul Blade Quirk user confirmed, covering her mouth with her sleeves. From afar, Kyoka gave off a blank stare.
'So Todoroki gave her hickeys, huh?' she assumed through her thoughts, 'Guess the first date went well…' she noted to herself. From the boys' locker room, Shoto sneezed loudly.
"Goodness!" Tenya yelped, "That's the second time that's happened out of nowhere for you, hasn't it?" he pointed out in question to the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk user, who wiped his nose.
"I'm sure it's nothing…" he proclaimed. Meanwhile, Izuku was still in the middle of changing into his costume. Sunday had come and gone, but the thoughts of what had happened between Shoto and Homura still lingered. And there was no denying that as he blushed a bright red.
"Shoji, how are things going with you and Jiro under Gang Orca?" Denki asked curiously.
"Oh, they're good," the Dupli-Arms Quirk user confirmed as he turned to face his classmate, "Husert and Shinso have fit right in, too," he mentioned.
"Wait, both of those guys are doing their work study under the same pro?" Hanta inquired.
"Awesome!" Eijiro exclaimed, "Guess things between 'em worked out in the end!" he noted with a grin.
"I've heard Rutherford's been doing great with Yaoyorozu and Tokage under Majestic, too," Rikido mentioned while throwing on his mask.
"He's really strong as usual," Mashirao mentioned, adjusting his gloves.
"We're all getting strong as hell these days," Minoru pointed out, "Of course, we're still miles away from Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki…" he mumbled on.
"Why the hell am I second, you grape bastard…?!" the Explosion Quirk user growled in question.
"Tone it down, Iron Man," Weisz insisted, "You and those two are the strongest of the class… aside from Shiki," he pointed out.
"HUH?!" Katsuki exclaimed angrily, causing the Machina Maker Quirk user to wince.
"It's quite true," Fumikage concurred, "Granbell is likely the most adept when it comes to using his Quirk effectively," he noted with crossed arms, "Even with Hawks' absence, he and I have been doing well to thwart villains lurking around every corner," he mentioned to his classmates.
"Yep!" the Satan Gravity Quirk user confirmed as he was adjusting his goggles, "Still, I do wanna get stronger," he admitted, clenching his fists, "After what happened during our summer camp, I…" he continued, grimacing upon remembering his brutal loss to Shura, "I'm going to get stronger," he declared firmly, turning to his classmates, "We all are," he affirmed on.
"Yeah!" most of his classmates agreed, heading out soon afterward to the training ground.
"Hey, Midoriya!" Eijiro called out, getting the One For All inheritor's attention as he saw him jog over, "We're still doing our movie night tonight, right?" he presumed.
"Oh yeah, I think so," Izuku responded, "Rebecca said it'd be a big one before spring break, so we can watch the next few after it," he pointed out.
"Awesome!" the Hardening Quirk user exclaimed with a pump of his fists.
"I still can't believe we're close to the end of that saga of movies…" Mashirao admitted.
"Yeah, I hear they were game-changers for their time all across the world…" Rikido mentioned.
"I wanna see Star-Lord again!" Shiki exclaimed with sparkles in his eyes. Smiling, Izuku trekked onward. Things were looking up for him and his classmates. But he didn't yet realize what most of them were going to get thrust into.
X
Mei was normally the most upbeat and determined person in the development studio. Even if an invention of hers didn't work, she'd work hard to make something new in an instant. So to see her staring solemnly at Valkyrie's body amongst the other Shining Star Heroes, Pino, and Power Loader… was jarring.
"Hatsume… do you need a minute…?" her teacher inquired out of concern.
"I'm really sorry…" she suddenly apologized, trembling as she clenched her fists, "If I could've figured this out sooner, then…" she tried to say, gritting her teeth. Tears dripped out from her eyes onto the table. Everyone around looked at her solemnly. Witch went over to embrace the Zoom Quirk user, holding her close.
"Lady Mei, this is not your fault…" she assured, "Valkyrie was gone to us before you even discovered our secret," she pointed out.
"But I could've helped save her!" the Support Course student proclaimed sadly in between sobs, "If I figured out Ziggy's blueprints, I could've brought your friend back!" she mentioned, sounding both frustrated and dismayed.
"Hatsume…" Power Loader uttered.
"Hmm…" Hermit hummed out, only to blink with a look of realization. Sister took notice.
"What's up?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"This might actually be our best case scenario," the Master Code Quirk user replied to her shock, "In the grand scheme of things, I mean," she corrected.
"I do not follow…" Pino admitted with a tilt of her head. Hermit made several holographic screens manifest around her, typing on holographic keys quickly.
"Valkyrie, like us, was one of the few androids made by Ziggy that retained her memories, while the others didn't," she explained, "If we're able to break down Valkyrie's schematics to her most basic pieces, we could determine exactly what allowed her and us to keep our memories," she pointed out, "And then, we could apply that to the other androids…" she mentioned further.
"So basically, we'd be doing a dissection?" Power Loader guessed.
"Pretty much," the Master Code Quirk user confirmed, "Sister, Witch," she called out to her fellow Shining Star Heroes, "You two okay with Valkyrie getting broken down for us to learn more?" she inquired of them. The pair looked reluctant at first. Then, the Heal Atomizer Quirk user sighed.
"We already buried Valkyrie once," she pointed out, "And rather than make us go through that again, I think she'd want us to give people their lives back, in whatever way we can," she told those in the room.
"I feel the same," Witch confirmed as she rubbed Mei's head, "We have to press forward in spite of our struggles to do so," she pointed out, "We're allowed to cry now, so that we can all smile later…" she mentioned on, "Lady Mei?" she said, causing the Zoom Quirk user to perk up, "You have our blessing to break down Valkyrie's body," she confirmed to her, giving her a reassuring smile, "But please, do not feel compelled to if—"
"I'll do it," the Support Course student interjected to her surprise. She pulled herself back, wiping her teary eyes. "As someone who wants to support heroes and help people of all kinds, including the three of you…" she continued, "I'll figure this out," she declared determinedly. The Shining Star Heroes all smiled.
"Thank you, Lady Mei," Witch said gratefully. Meanwhile, the sun was starting to set over the Heights Alliance dorms.
"Papa, can I stay over for one night with Eri?" Anya requested of her father, who held her by her left hand.
"No, we can't trouble the staff," he responded firmly to her dismay, "Besides, we need to welcome back your mother tonight," he mentioned, making her smile.
"Well, little Anya's always welcome to UA, especially if she wants to be a hero one day!" Mirio assured, standing alongside Shota and Eri.
"No, we couldn't impose more than we already have…" Loid proclaimed.
"It's fine," Shota assured as he held up his right hand, "Eri's content when Anya's around, and it's good for her to play with people around her age," he mentioned.
"But of course," the Disguise Quirk user agreed. At that moment, the horned girl took notice of something, running off excitedly.
"Ah, hey!" Shota yelped out, only to see her run past Anya and Loid, jumping into Rebecca's arms, as she yelped in surprise.
"Oh, Eri!" she exclaimed, feeling the Rewind Quirk user nuzzle against her, "Feels like I haven't seen you for a while…" she pointed out sheepishly.
"I was actually hoping you'd come by," her teacher chimed in, getting her attention as she saw him approach, "Eri's really wanted to see you more often," he noted.
"I can tell," the Cat Leaper Quirk user remarked, sharing a big smile with the horned girl. Loid looked on and grinned.
'As long as both of them are here together, safe and sound…' he began inwardly, adjusting his hat slightly, 'I don't think there's anything to worry about,' he proclaimed through his thoughts.
"Buh-bye, Eri!" Anya called out with a wave as her father led her down the brick walkway past the returning Class A students. The horned girl waved back.
"Bluegarden," Shota said, getting the Cat Leaper Quirk user's attention, "what's your schedule looking like this week?" he inquired of her.
"Uh… well, I think tomorrow and Wednesday I'll be going to Endeavor's agency for our work study," she confirmed, "And I'll be here Thursday and Friday before heading over there again for the weekend," she mentioned further.
"Okay then," her teacher uttered, "Would you mind helping watch over Eri on Thursday and Friday then?" he requested of her.
"Oh, sure!" she responded, causing the horned girl to beam brightly, "I know she really likes seeing me around, so that's more than fine!" she affirmed.
"Yay!" Eri exclaimed, laughing with the Cat Leaper Quirk user. Shota gave off the tiniest of smiles upon seeing how happy they were. As the evening rolled around, Rebecca let out a relieved sigh, having a towel hanging over her shoulders after a quick shower. Turning the corner as she exited from the bath, she squeaked in surprise to see her boyfriend there.
"Oh!" he yelped out, dressed in just a plain t-shirt and sweatpants with slippers on his feet, carrying a shower caddy and having a towel over his left shoulder, "Uh, hey," he greeted.
"Hi…" she greeted back nervously, "Getting cleaned up?" she assumed upon noticing the shower caddy.
"Oh… yeah…" her boyfriend replied, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.
"Ugh, okay…" Rebecca groaned out, "We should talk about that," she insisted.
"I still can't believe Todoroki and Kogetsu would even do that…" Izuku admitted as a blush appeared upon his cheeks.
"Especially in Endeavor's own agency…" his girlfriend added, "Must've been a spur of the moment thing…" she presumed.
"Yeah…" the One For All inheritor agreed, "Still… I think Todoroki saved her," he pointed out to the Cat Leaper Quirk user's surprise, "She seemed so defeated after finding out the truth about her mom, didn't she?" he recalled in question, failing to notice Katsuki entering the area.
"It was probably really tough on her…" Rebecca noted, "I guess… I should be happy that she's okay now," she concluded with a little smile.
"Yeah, me too," Izuku agreed. He then spotted Katsuki walking over. "K-Kacchan," he stuttered, causing his girlfriend to yelp as she saw the Explosion Quirk user approach. He huffed.
"I'll give you idiots this," he began, "you know how to at least contain yourselves," he pointed out, causing them to blush a bright red.
"You little…!" Rebecca growled, while Izuku sighed with a smile.

"Alright!" Eijiro exclaimed, "Drinks and popcorn are all good to go, and we've got plenty of time to spare before class tomorrow!" he noted to classmates, who were all gathered in the common room, ready to watch the movie.
"We haven't watched a movie that was two-and-a-half hours before…" a visible Toru pointed out as she lied against a beanbag with Mina, "It kinda gets me excited!" she admitted.
"I know!" the Acid Quirk user agreed, letting off a big smile.
"Where'd we really leave off, anyway?" Hanta inquired, "I know you said we switched it up and watched a few things before this, but…" he continued over to Rebecca, who gave off a little smile.
"Well, that would be spoiling, wouldn't it?" she retorted, winking and sticking out her tongue.
"This is the Infinity War one, right?" Minoru inquired.
"I heard this was really hyped up out in America…" Kyoka commented.
"I'm sure it'll live up to that hype!" Eijiro affirmed excitedly, "So let's get it started already!" he insisted. With that, Rebecca clicked the play button on the remote. The opening credits rolled… but with a more ominous score than the usual fanfare. There was someone on a radio communicating that they were in danger, followed by showing the remains of the starship that was being attacked by the massive warship.
"Holy shit…" Denki uttered in disbelief as most of the excitement in the room was replaced with a feeling of dread. Aboard the ship, several Asgardians and warriors amongst them had been massacred.
"I know what it's like to lose…" a deep voice declared as four aliens were surrounding the likes of Loki, "To feel so desperately that you're right… yet to fail nonetheless…" he noted, being a figure dressed in golden armor, carrying a defeated Thor in his grasp, "It's frightening… turns the legs to jelly…" he continued, approaching the God of Mischief, "I ask you to what end?" he remarked to him, "Dread it… run from it…" he kept going, "destiny arrives all the same," he stated, "And now, it's here…" he stated, raising the golden gauntlet in his grasp as the purple stone embedded into one of its notches shined brightly, "Or should I say… I am," he corrected with a smirk.
"Oh… shit," Mina cursed with widened eyes.
"That's one of those Infinity Stones, right? The one from Guardians?" Mashirao inquired.
"Yeah…" Mezo confirmed in response, "That means he must've taken out the Nova Corps to get to it…" he concluded grimly.
"Oh, I'm not liking this…" Denki admitted aloud, trembling a little. Things seemed bleak, especially as Thanos threatened to kill Thor if Loki didn't hand over the Infinity Stone he possessed. The God of Mischief was willing to let his brother die at first, but after seeing him suffer from the Mad Titan almost burn his face with the Power Stone, he demanded he stop. It turned out that he had taken the Tesseract from Asgard after its destruction, something that Thor had thought perished along with the realm.
"You… really are the worst brother…" he muttered out weakly. However, Loki had other plans. He distracted Thanos long enough for Hulk to charge in and tackle him away.
"Yeah!" Rikido yelled.
"Hulk's totally got this!" Toru proclaimed excitedly. However, their hopes were soon dashed. Hulk pinning Thanos was only momentary, as the Mad Titan managed to grab him by his arms and push him back, right before jabbing his throat. With a series of well-timed punches and kicks, he then lifted the green beast up before slamming him down onto the floor in a defeated heap.
"Oh, whoa…" Eijiro uttered out. Already, the outlook for this conflict was grim. Hulk was fortunately transported away from the ship thanks to Heimdall. But in retaliation, Thanos killed him.
"NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Thor screamed while trapped in scraps of metal brought together by Maw, "You're going to die for that!" he proclaimed to Thanos, only for the telekinetic to silence him. The Mad Titan then took claim of the Tesseract, crushing it to access the stone within. Adding it to the notch next to the Power Stone, a surge of energy welled through his body before he exhaled a relieved breath. With it, he could now know where the other stones were. Two of them were on Earth, and he was going to entrust his children with finding them.
"If I might… interject…" Loki chimed in, getting their attentions.
"Uh oh…" Mina uttered worriedly. The God of Mischief was willing to offer his services to guide Thanos' children, pledging his loyalty to the Mad Titan. But in actuality, he was planning to try and kill him at the soonest opportunity. He swung a hidden dagger out at his foe, but it was stopped thanks to the power of the Space Stone.
"Undying?" he said, repeating Loki's words from earlier. Thor helplessly watched as his adopted brother was lifted off of the ground by his neck, trying to wriggle himself free from Thanos' grasp. The student heroes all watched on in awe at the sight, shocked that such a scene was playing out at the very start of the film.
"You… will never be… a god…" Loki proclaimed to the Mad Titan. Merely smirking, he tightened his grip on the God of Mischief, snapping his neck and killing him.
"Ah!" Toru yelped, covering her eyes, while many of her classmates widened their own. Thor screamed with anguish while muffled, watching Thanos approach and drop his dead brother right in front of him.
"No resurrections this time," the Mad Titan declared. After that, he used the Power Stone to destroy what remained of the ship, leaving Thor to grieve over his brother before teleporting away with his children.
"…Holy crap…" Minoru uttered, somewhat shaken by what had just happened, "That guy just snapped his neck like a twig…" he pointed out, trembling a little.
"And he was working for Thanos, wasn't he?" Mashirao inquired.
"Yeah…" Mezo confirmed with a nod. Hulk had wound up getting transported back to Earth, ending up crashing into the Sanctum Sanctorum, meeting both Doctor Strange and Wong as he turned back into Bruce.
"Thanos is coming… he's coming…!" he warned with a panicked look upon his face.
"…Who?" Steven asked in confusion. At that moment, the opening title appeared.
"Well… that was certainly something…" Homura remarked.
"I'll say…" Kyoka agreed, "How much crazier can things get after all that?" she wondered aloud. Rebecca didn't say a word, letting off a little smile. The movie continued with a reintroduction of Tony and Pepper, revealing that they were engaged. The billionaire genius had a dream about having a kid with his fiancé, but she pointed out that if he wanted to have one, he would stop inventing all the time, especially when it came to his Iron Man armors. The pair was then met by Stephen, who told them that the fate of the universe was at stake. Being brought to the Sanctum, Tony was told about the six Infinity Stones that existed from the start of the universe, being six singularities of existence: Power, Space, Reality, Soul, Time, and Mind.
"Tell me his name again," Tony said, having a somewhat panicked look upon his face. Knowing about Thanos made him look rather anxious about what was to come. But there were advantages they had. For one, they had the Time Stone in their possession, courtesy of Stephen. The other stone on Earth resided with Vision. Unfortunately, he had gone missing. And the only person who could likely find him was Steve Rogers.
"Oh dear…" Momo uttered, remembering that the Avengers had split as a result of their inner conflict. Not all of them were available. However, under the threat of Thanos' approach to Earth, Tony reluctantly decided to make the call for Steve. Before he could though, something had arrived above New York.
An alien ship shaped like a giant ring floated over the city, causing wind to rush around and create chaos down below. From a school bus driving away from the scene, Peter Parker sensed the chaos occurring. He managed to get out of the moving vehicle unnoticed, equipping his costume and swinging his way out to the scene.
Stephen was able to counter the rushing wind caused by the ship's presence, with both him and Tony trying to outdo each other in terms of their plans. A beam then shot down onto the ground in front of the group, revealing both Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. The former of the two aliens greeted them, saying that they were about to die at the hands of the children of Thanos.
"I'm sorry, Earth is closed today!" Tony remarked back to him, interjecting his declaration, "You better pack it up and get outta here," he advised.
"Stone keeper…" Maw said, addressing Stephen as he perked up, "does this chattering animal speak for you?" he inquired.
"Certainly not, I speak for myself," Doctor Strange answered as he prepped his magical energy discs over his fists, "You're trespassing this city and on this planet," he stated, while Wong readied his own discs.
"It means get lost, Squidward!" Tony remarked. Mina and Eijiro laughed, while Kyoka sputtered. It was nice to get a bit of humor after the turmoil that began the movie. Maw instructed Obsidian to be the one to retrieve the stone from Stephen. Tony decided it'd be best for Bruce to transform and take him on. He was reluctant, but willing to fight. However, he was struggling to turn into his stronger alter. His skin was hardly turning green at all.
"What's… going on?" Rikido wondered aloud.
"I thought Bruce could control it…" Shiki pointed out as he blinked. Struggling still, Bruce couldn't transform.
"Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards…" Tony muttered to him, making him apologize. Deciding to take charge, the billionaire genius went ahead and equipped his newest armor, one comprised of nano-technology. It allowed him to generate weapons at a moment's notice, blowing back Obsidian with ease.
However, Maw made his way into the battle. From there, it was a chaotic struggle to prevent the aliens from seizing the Time Stone. Everyone was already tense from the opening scene alone, with Hanta and Denki chomping down on their popcorn in anticipation. At one point, Tony was about to get his head smashed in by Obsidian's multi-tooled hammer, only for a costumed Peter to jump in and save him.
Maw had captured Stephen, taking him away to the ring-shaped ship. Peter tried to stop him, but was caught up in the tractor beam that took him aboard the departing vessel. He was carried high up into the air, losing oxygen and passing out. Luckily, Tony had sent him a new suit of armor to utilize, saving him and then having a parachute deploy to send him back down. However, the web-slinger had wound up finding a way to stay latched upon the ship, getting aboard it secretly as it departed into the unknown.
"Man, that was crazy…" Hanta admitted as he rubbed the side of his side.
"I don't think any of the other movies got us this quiet…" Denki commented curiously.
"I have a feeling that things are still going to be grim…" Tenya inferred with a hand upon his chin.

The movie continued with the Guardians of the Galaxy finding Thor and learning of Thanos' plot. They split into teams, with the God of Thunder, Rocket and Groot heading to a place called Nidavellir to forge a weapon that would possibly be what could kill the Mad Titan. The other team was set to find the Reality Stone in the possession of the Collector, hopefully before Thanos could take it.
The scene changed to Wanda and Vision out in Scotland, trying to live normal lives outside of being Avengers. They had become a couple, very much enjoying the time they shared. However, the synthezoid was being plagued by the pain of the Mind Stone in his head, as it was seemingly speaking to him. And then he learned of the attack on New York.
"I have to go," he decided.
"No, Vision…" Wanda tried to say, "If that's true… then maybe going back isn't the best idea…" she argued.
"Wanda, I—" Without warning, he was pierced from behind by the blade of Corvus Glaive.
"AAAHHH!" Ochaco shrieked as she slammed her head into Shiki's chest.
"Whoa!" he yelped out, "It's okay, Ochaco…" he assured, petting her head. As Vision was being attacked, with the two Black Order members attempting to steal the Mind Stone, Wanda fought them off. It was difficult for her to protect the synthezoid while also fighting the aliens back. It came to a point where they crashed into a train station, prepared to make a final stand against their foes. But then, there was a certain figure lurking in the station. As Proxima Midnight threw her spear toward the figure, it caught it. Stepping out was none other than Steve.
"Alright, let's go!" Eijiro yelled. He wasn't the only one on the scene. Sam Wilson, better known as the Falcon, swooped in and kicked Proxima aside. Natasha also arrived, helping Steve as they battled Corvus, almost killing him. The pair managed to escape in the end, but without taking the Mind Stone.
"Whew…" Weisz exhaled.
"Pretty intense, huh?" Denki presumed.
"Wi…" Yuga agreed in reply, "I can't imagine things going well if they hadn't shown up to help them at the last moment…" he pointed out.
"Hm," Katsuki huffed, sipping his soda. The movie continued with the Guardians, as Gamora remembered her childhood as Thanos' adopted daughter. She was taken from her home planet as a young girl, not realizing at the time the Mad Titan's ambition to wipe out half of all life across the universe. She and her boyfriend, Peter Quill, shared a moment to discuss circumstances. If things went wrong and Thanos got ahold of her… he would have to kill her in order for the secret she kept to remain as such. Peter accepted the promise, followed by some comedic timing from both Drax and Mantis that made some in the room giggle.
But that giggling soon ceased once the Guardians arrived on Knowhere to find the Reality Stone. They discovered that Thanos had seemingly beat them to the Collector, questioning him for the stone. Gamora took the initiative to ambush her adoptive father, managing to land a fatal slash to his neck and stabbing him in the chest with the dagger he had given her. She sobbed with relief that the man who tormented her into becoming strong was finally dead.
Or so she thought. It turned out that Thanos already had the Reality Stone long before the Guardians had even arrived, conjuring such an intricate illusion of Knowhere to fool them. He was looking to take his adopted daughter with him. After taking hold of her and dispatching both Drax and Mantis with his newly acquired stone, the Mad Titan was confronted by Peter, who was ready to blast his brains out with his blaster.
However, Gamora begged for him to take her life instead, thus robbing her adoptive father of whatever she held secret that he needed. Peter was reluctant, especially as the two had grown to love each other. And to everyone's shock, Thanos actually challenged him to shoot Gamora.
"I love you… more than anything…" she confessed through her tears.
"…I love you, too…" Peter replied sadly. He clenched his eyes shut and pulled his trigger… but all that came out of his blaster were bubbles.
"No…" Momo uttered with teary eyes, as most of the girls were dismayed by the sight. Shiki whimpered as well, seeing Peter's gun disappear into bubbles.
"I like you," Thanos admitted before departing through a portal with Gamora in tow.
"Oh, holy shit…" Kyoka sighed out, leaning back in her seat. From there, many more events followed. Those with Steve returned to the Avengers' compound, aiming to take Vision to Wakanda in order to safely remove and then destroy the Mind Stone, as doing so would be the only way to prevent Thanos from accomplishing his goal. As for the Mad Titan himself, he forced Gamora to tell him about the location of the Soul Stone, threatening to kill Nebula if she didn't.
Before all that, Peter and Tony managed to fight off Maw to save Stephen, commandeering the ring-shaped ship that was heading for Titan, Thanos' home planet. The billionaire genius was willing to take the fight straight to the Mad Titan, having dreaded the threat of his presence for the longest time. Stephen was reluctant, but decided to accept his terms. However, he wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice Tony or Peter for the sake of the Time Stone he wielded.
The movie continued with the Avengers arriving at Wakanda to meet with its king, T'Challa. It would take time to get the Mind Stone out of Vision's head, and there wasn't much left. More of Thanos' forces were arriving to do battle for the stone. Meanwhile, the Mad Titan himself had taken his adopted daughter to Vormir, the planet she said was the home of the Soul Stone. The two of them ventured up the mountain, being met by a surprising guide in the Red Skull. He led them up to the altar, where he explained that the stone demanded a sacrifice.
"A soul… for a soul," he said, having mentioned that Thanos would have to lose that which he loved. Gamora laughed, thinking that her adoptive father loved nothing, as he would kill and torture, calling it mercy. And then, she saw him crying.
"Tears… really?" she remarked mockingly.
"They are not for him," Red Skull confirmed. A light gasp left Toru's lips. Gamora's expression changed to one of frightened realization. She tried to stab herself with her father's dagger, but he turned it into bubbles just before the blade could reach her chest.
"I'm sorry, little one…" he apologized, grabbing her by her left arm and dragging her to the edge of the altar. Everyone watching was practically in disbelief, seeing the Mad Titan throw his adopted daughter over the mountain, watching her plummet and crash lifelessly onto the stonework below. A flash of light then enveloped the screen before it turned black. And then, the scene changed to Thanos sitting up in a pool of water, now with the Soul Stone in hand.
"G-Gamora…" Mina stammered with tears pricking her eyes.
"Holy crap…" Denki uttered as his eyes shook, "They… really aren't messing around…" he pointed out.
"They're gonna win though… right?" Minoru inquired, "I mean… it's a superhero movie for a reason, isn't it?" he questioned on. He didn't get an answer. Everyone was just fixated on the film continuing. As Tony, Peter and Stephen crashed onto Titan, they were met by the Guardians ambushing them, each thinking that the other group was fighting under Thanos.
"I'm gonna ask you this one time…" Quill began as he had the web-slinger in a headlock, "where is Gamora?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'll do you one better," Tony responded, "Who is Gamora?" he questioned.
"I'll do you one better!" Drax exclaimed, "Why is Gamora?!" he bellowed.
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Eijiro and Denki laughed heartily, along with many of the others. Even Katsuki and Shoto couldn't help but chuckle. That levity was evidently needed with all of the tension. But it soon returned. Thor's group had arrived at Nidavellir, aiming to create a new weapon to stop Thanos.
However, all of the blacksmiths had been killed, as they had made the Infinity Gauntlet for the Mad Titan under his threat. The only one left alive was Eitri, whose hands were no longer usable. Thor wasn't going to give up. He was going to be the one who'd kill Thanos, no matter what it would take.
Back upon Wakanda, Thanos' forces began to invade. They had monstrous creatures at their beck and call, forcing themselves through the barrier to face off against the Wakandan forces. However, some were looking to go around and get through the barrier on the other side, which was practically unguarded. So T'Challa decided that their attention needed to be on getting through them. A portion of the barrier opened, and the monstrous aliens began flooding through. The Wakandan king stepped forward before his army, crossing his arms.
"Wakanda forever!" he yelled, letting his helmet materialize before charging out alongside everyone to face the incoming aliens. He and Steve were the fastest, confronting the beasts first and fighting them back as best they could. However, it seemed like there were endless hordes of them.
Meanwhile, Thor managed to help restart the forge with Rocket's help. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism for it broke, meaning that the mold couldn't be heated properly. The God of Thunder was willing to hold it open, even though he'd be taking on the power of a star in doing so. He did, enduring as best he could as the mold was being forged together. It worked, but Thor was left extremely weakened from the ordeal.
He needed the axe in order to recover, but it lacked the handle it needed. Groot, who had done nothing but be lazy for the whole of the film, used his own roots to form a handle for the weapon. As it clanged against the metal floor, the weakened God of Thunder held his out to it, with sparks of lightning coming off from his fingers.
Back upon Wakanda, the battle was starting to worsen for the heroes. There were too many Outriders to fight back against, and they didn't have the manpower necessary to thwart them all. But all of a sudden, Thor arrived with both Rocket and Groot. Now wielding his new weapon, Stormbreaker, he was prepared to take down every last one of the alien beasts.
"BRING ME THANOSSSSS!" he bellowed before lunging out in a flash of lightning, striking the ground fiercely to kill several of the Outriders.
"WOO!" Denki yelled excitedly, "Now we're talkin'!" he remarked aloud. But his excitement was short-lived as Thanos came onto screen, having transported himself onto Titan. The heroes there ambushed him in a surprise attack, with the goal being to remove his gauntlet rather than trying to kill him. Though there were setbacks, things were going their way as they managed to restrain him, with Mantis' empathic ability clouding his mind long enough for Tony and Peter to start pulling off the gauntlet.
"Thought you'd be harder to catch. For the record, this was my plan," Quill commented smugly, earning a groan and eye roll from Kyoka. He then started asking about where Gamora was. Mantis noted that the Mad Titan was in anguish and in mourning.
"Oh no…" Mina uttered as she held her hands together tightly. Nebula, who had arrived to assist the heroes, took note of the fact that her adoptive father had the Soul Stone… but not Gamora. Quill was coming to the slow realization of what happened, with Tony pleading for him to remain calm as the gauntlet was nearly off of their foe's hand.
"Asshole! Tell me you didn't do it!" he shouted to the Mad Titan.
"I… had… to…" he confessed slowly. Dismayed, Quill couldn't contain his anger. He started hitting Thanos with his blaster, causing Mantis to lose her hold on him. At the very moment the gauntlet almost came off, the Mad Titan regained control of himself, reclaiming his weapon and then freeing himself from the heroes surrounding him. He knocked out the Guardians, followed by then using the power of the stones he wielded to make pieces of a nearby moon rain down in a meteor shower upon the others.
"What the fuck was that?!" Kyoka yelled in question.
"Whoa…" Denki uttered, surprised by her sudden crassness.
"Jiro!" Momo shouted in a reprimanding tone.
"I'm sorry, but what the hell was Quill thinking?!" the Earphone Jack Quirk user exclaimed, "You've got the baddest guy in the universe pinned and almost could've just won this whole fight if you controlled your damn self!" she pointed out, crossing her arms in a frustrated huff.
"She does have a point…" Rebecca admitted with a sheepish grin.
"Yeah, but Quill's been known to be impulsive…" Mashirao noted, "If anything, it's Nebula's fault for saying something…" he argued. The battle on Wakanda continued, with Corvus having snuck into the city to take the Mind Stone from Vision. However, the synthezoid fought him off, crashing into the forest with him. Each of the heroes needed to get to him before it was too late. Luckily, they managed to fight off their foes, killing the rest of Thanos' adopted children and rescuing Vision before he could end up losing the stone in his head.
But things were going from bad to worse. The battle on Titan was proving to be too much as Stephen couldn't handle taking on Thanos by himself. Tony tried to stop him. But even with all of the weapons his suit could form, it was only able to leave just a cut on his cheek. Ultimately, the billionaire genius could only attempt to stab him, only for his formed blade to be broken off and reversed into his stomach.
"NO!" Eijiro yelled, while a few others gasped. They watched as Thanos pushed Tony back before removing the blade from his stomach. He promised him that half of humanity would still be alive… and hoped that they would remember him for the heroics he provided. He was going to kill him there, but then Stephen pleaded for his life to be spared. In exchange, he'd give him the Time Stone.
"No tricks?" Thanos assumed. The sorcerer shook his head in confirmation. He had the stone appear over his right hand, letting it float over to the Mad Titan. He took claim of it, inserting it into the notch at his thumb. Its power surged through his body, and only one more was left to go. Quill tried to shoot him down, but he escaped into a portal without any reservation.
"Why did you do that…?" Tony asked of Stephen.
"We're in the endgame now…" he answered simply.
"No thanks to the dumbass…" Kyoka grumbled, earning a nervous smile from Rebecca. In Wakanda, Thanos arrived. There was little time left, and the Mind Stone needed to be destroyed. The only one who could do it was Wanda, but she wasn't willing to kill Vision to do so.
But there was no time left. With a heavy heart, she released her energy onto the synthezoid she loved, all while the other heroes desperately tried to stop the Mad Titan. It was to no avail. And he was getting closer. A dismayed Wanda took one last look at Vision as his head started to crack.
"I love you…" he confessed before the stone was finally shattered into pieces, resulting in a shockwave that erupted through the trees.
"Oh man…" Hanta uttered out.
"To have to go through all that just to save the world…" Ochaco commented. However, Thanos seemed hardly deterred. He sympathized with Wanda's loss, saying that he understood how she felt.
"But now is no time to mourn," he remarked as he stepped forward to the spot where Vision had died, "Now… is no time at all," he added, activating the Time Stone.
"Wait… what?" Denki said, widening his eyes. They watched as the Mad Titan starting reversing time in the area, reforming Vision completely before his destruction. Wanda tried to stop him, but was smacked away. Picking up the synthezoid by his neck, Thanos pried the Mind Stone out from his skull, killing him as his whole body turned grey and lifeless. He chucked him aside like a ragdoll.
With everything in place, the Mad Titan inserted the final stone into his gauntlet. Its power and the others surged through him as he yelled. He could finally accomplish his long-sought goal. But suddenly, he was ambushed by a blast of lightning from an airborne Thor. He flung Stormbreaker down at him, having it pierce into his chest even as he tried to stop it.
"LET'S GO!" Denki yelled excitedly, clapping his hands.
"I told you…" Thor began, "you'd die for that…" he declared, pushing his axe deeper into the Mad Titan as he bellowed with pain. This was it. He would finally be stopped on the brink of his victory. That's what most everyone in the room watching was thinking.
"You should have…" he weakly whispered out, "You should've gone for the head…" he said, right before snapping his fingers just as Thor yelled.
"D…Did he just win…?" Minoru wondered aloud, trembling a little. The scene changed to show Thanos not wounded nor with the gauntlet in his grasp. He was in an orange space in which he could see a younger version of his adopted daughter.
"Did you do it?" she asked of him.
"Yes…" he answered, sounding dismayed.
"What did it cost?" she questioned on.
"...Everything," Thanos answered. The scene changed back to reality, where the gauntlet had been burnt to a crisp from all the energy it used at once.
"What did you do…? What did you do?!" Thor asked angrily. All he got in response was the Mad Titan escaping through another portal, leaving Stormbreaker to fall onto the ground. Nothing seemed amiss for the moment. Steve arrived on the scene as well to take stock of the situation. And then, he saw Bucky disappear into dust right before his eyes. A gasp left Momo's lips as she then covered her mouth.
"Oh no…" Izuku uttered in realization. He and his classmates watched as they saw the likes of T'Challa, Wanda, Sam, Groot and many others just disappear to the shock and disbelief of others. Back on Titan, Mantis, Drax and Quill faded away themselves.
"Tony…" Stephen uttered, causing the billionaire genius to turn to him, "there was no other way…" he said… right before disappearing as well.
"This is awful…" Tenya remarked, quite horrified.
"Mister Stark?" Peter said somewhat weakly, causing Tony to slowly turn to see him trembling, "I don't feel so good…" he noted, sounding scared.
"Nonononono…" Mina repeated desperately, crying with Toru and Tsuyu at the sight of the young hero collapsing into Tony's arms, begging to not turn into dust like the others. But sadly, he did, apologizing just before fading away as well. That left just the billionaire genius and Nebula as the remaining survivors. Everyone watching was practically in disbelief. They listened to the music swell as Thanos was emerging from what seemed to be a cottage, sitting down and looking out at the sunrise. He was finally able to rest after accomplishing his goal. And then, the credits rolled.
"Wait, no!" Rikido yelled out, "There's gotta be more!" he proclaimed desperately.
"Yeah, isn't there another part, Rebecca?!" Mina asked with tears pricking her eyes.
"Wh-Whoa…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user stuttered, "There is, but…" she pointed out, "It's three-and-a-half hours long, and we don't have that kinda time right now…" she mentioned to her classmates.
"Bluegarden is right, even though I do wish to know what happens next…" Tenya admitted in agreement.
"You're definitely not the only one…" Denki whimpered out.
"Well, let's all go and get some rest…" Momo advised as she stood up, "We still have our work studies to attend to, so don't forget," she mentioned on.
"Good point," Tsuyu agreed, getting ready to head off like the others.
"…Hey…" Weisz uttered, getting his classmates' attentions.
"Is something the matter, Steiner?" Momo asked in concern. The Machina Maker Quirk user looked down for a moment.
"What if that happens to us?" he questioned to everyone's surprise, "What if we end up losing like they did?" he wondered on.
"Dude, that's never gonna happen…" Eijiro assured confidently.
"Yeah, we've got the teachers and pro heroes on our side," Minoru pointed out, "Whatever the League of Villains tries throwing at us next, we can handle it," he affirmed confidently.
"You don't need to worry yourself over something that happened in a movie, Steiner," Momo assured, "Get some rest, all right?" she advised.
"Yeah, okay…" the Machina Maker Quirk user replied as he got to his feet. As everyone headed off to their rooms for the night, Izuku felt himself wondering about what things would be like if the villains were to emerge victorious over him and his friends one day, even when they had everything they could to fight back. He hoped such a day would never come.
ENDING
Insert "Believe" by Soushi Sakiyama
Opens with Homura waking up and preparing for the day, getting dressed in her school uniform before lying on her knees in front of her memorial to Valkyrie, offering a prayer before she heads off. As she gathers in the dorm common room with her classmates, she sees Shoto and smiles, walking off with him. She breathes out a puff of cold air, looking up at the partly cloudy winter sky.
Later, we see her at the Endeavor Agency, practicing with her energy blades against the fiery ones Burnin creates with her Quirk, all while the Flame Hero watches. As Homura's exhaustion catches up with her, Endeavor offers her a cup of tea to ease her. She accepts it, sipping it gratefully. We transition to her as a child, sitting on the porch of her old home with Valkyrie, as they smile at each other.
Being taught for years how to fight with Soul Blade, Homura never knew her teacher was actually an android. But that didn't matter to her either way, as she appreciated what Valkyrie had done for her. We cut to when the police showed up at her home one evening, with Naomasa telling her the unfortunate news of Valkyrie's death. We see the lifeless body of the Shining Star Hero, having many scarlet burns along her body, with a missing right arm and half of her face gone, revealing her robotic appearance underneath.
Back in the present, we see Homura still mourning over her teacher to this day. Things have only been harder after discovering that she was a machine all this time. She starts to tear up a little, but then suddenly has a hand come onto her back. She looks to her right to see a smiling Rebecca there, followed by turning to her left to find Izuku and Katsuki there, with the former flashing a kind grin.
A hand then extends for the Soul Blade Quirk user as she looks to see Shoto standing in front of her. She gratefully accepts it as tears prick her eyes. They walk off together, with Homura starting to lean against Shoto in the process…
