After returning to Privet Drive, making dinner, and cleaning up Harry was able to return to his bedroom and begin to plan and implement the things that he wanted to do over the summer. He walked into his room and looked around in shock. Nothing was as he had left the room when the Weasley's had rescued Harry last summer.

His new unrecognized room was painted in Gryffindor colors, had a brand new four poster bed, desk, and dresser.

Harry summoned Dobby to his room and asked him if he was responsible for the changes.

Dobby nodded. "Yes, Harry Potter, sir. Dobby didn't think that the great Harry Potter should live in the abysmal conditions that were here before."

"Dobby, I fully agree with you and appreciate what you've done but we need to do a couple of things about this. My aunt and uncle cannot see these changes until we can do something about how they treat me. I also know that house elves tend to remain out of sight and stay out of their owner's sight. You are my friend and as such I ask that you add a bed and area for yourself in this room and I want you to live like I would. You are also welcome to do whatever you wish when you have free time."

"As you wish Harry Potter, sir." Dobby said with tears in his eyes and a great deal of admiration for his friend.

Harry watched as Dobby made more changes to the room. He watched as the room seemed to become larger than any other room in the house. Dobby also added an area for himself in the room. This area consisted of a much smaller bed and a sitting area.

Dobby then told him that anyone that walked into the room would see it as it was before. He also told Harry that the Dursley's could knock on the door and request anything they wanted to but if they tried to enter while Harry was in the room they would not be able to open the door and would have a compulsion to do something else.

Harry smiled and thanked Dobby for the changes. With that being done the two called it a night and went to bed.

At breakfast the next morning, Harry told his relatives that he would no longer work as a slave for them. As the color in his uncle's face changed and Harry knew that his uncle was about to explode, he stopped him.

"Uncle Vernon, you allowed me to stay here, despite the awful way the three of you have treated me. For that I am grateful. I am going to leave the house today and take care of some things. I will leave you to talk amongst yourselves and when I come back we can come up with some sort of agreement. However, if any of you do anything that can be considered abuse of any kind. You will regret it. I will do everything in my power to ruin your reputation and your lives will be forever changed. I will be back after dinner tonight."

With that Harry left the kitchen, entered his room, and asked Dobby to take him to Diagon Alley. Their first stop would be Gringotts. As they walked Harry told Dobby that he was going to require Dobby to get rid of his attire.

"Family of mine will not be dressed in rags any longer. I will be getting a new wardrobe in Madam Malkin's. I will tell her that I would like you to be dressed in either robes or muggle attire. You may choose whatever type you would like. I will also ask that you have the Potter Crest in one of three areas. Again, you may choose. I would like for the crest to either be on the breast, upper arm, or back of whatever clothing you choose."

Dobby nodded.

By this time, Dobby and Harry had arrived at Gringotts and walked through the door to the nearest available goblin teller. He waited for the goblin to look at him and acknowledge his presence. When the goblin looked at him with a raised eyebrow Harry gave his request.

"Sir, I would like to speak to my account manager and would also like for someone to tell Ragnok that I need to speak to him whenever he is available. If he is not available today, I am willing to make arrangements for another time."

The goblin nodded and asked for Harry to follow him.

They arrived in a large room with an older looking goblin sitting at a desk.

"Harry Potter, this is Barchoke. He is the Potter Account manager, and he will take care of whatever you need. I will see about your other request."

Barchoke looked at Harry with a bit of anger in his eyes. "You have much to explain Harry Potter. We have sent several requests for you to come see us and you have never responded to us. goblins treat being ignored as an insult. Should you continue to ignore us it will cost you."

"Sir, I have only received one piece of mail from anyone by owl or any other magical means."

"If you will allow me Mr. Potter, I will cast a goblin spell to verify what you are saying. Should you be lying I will have you forcibly removed from Gringotts."

Harry nodded and told the goblin to proceed. Barchoke's expression went from one of anger to one of shock and finally to one of thoughtfulness. Barchoke touched a rune on his desk and a couple of heavily armed goblins entered the room.

"I need you to ask Ragnok to join us. Tell him we something unexpected has occurred with Mr. Potter."

As they waited for Ragnok to appear Barchoke asked what Harry needed from them today.

"I have an idea of why you asked for Ragnok to join us and I would like to wait for that. However, I would like to know about any vaults I may have and would like to find out what options I have for carrying money on my person.

As Harry finished a goblin dressed in gold armor with a huge axe on his back appeared and walked into the room. Barchoke stood and offered the seat to the goblin Harry assumed was Ragnok. Barchoke then bent down and told the goblin what he had found.

"Mr. Potter, I am Ragnok and while I do not usually meet with Wizards and Witches when they request, Barchoke has found some things that require my presence and direction. Once done we can deal with your requests for Barchoke.

"As you know, Barchoke cast a goblin spell on you to determine any spells that would prevent us from contacting you. We have found several things that are more important than a mail redirection ward, which you have placed on you. We have found that up until a week or so ago you had a great deal of dark magic concentrated on your scar and that while you appear to almost be 13 our spell showed us that your magic is closer to that of someone who is an adult. We also found a block on your magic that should have been removed when you entered Hogwarts. This is sometimes done with particularly strong magical children. This one appears to have been placed by Dumbledore shortly after your first birthday. Can you explain anything about the dark magic and the age of your magic."

"Yes sir. I will begin with the dark magic around my scar. At the end of the last term at Hogwarts I was involved in a fight against Voldemort in the chamber of secrets. During this fight with Voldemort I had to face a Basilisk (at this statement Barchoke and Ragnok's eyes widened). I managed to kill the basilisk but in the process one of the fangs pierced my arm. If it wasn't for Dumbledore's phoenix I would have died. However, my life was changed from that point. What I am about to tell you will be unbelievable but it is the truth. Death used my near death to send me back in time to near death experience so that I can change what happened in my past and to make sure that fewer people die at the hands of Voldemort. When this happened he told me that I would receive one of two gifts. While I have yet to figure out the second gift, the first was to remove the part of Voldemort's soul that was attached to my scar. I then used the fang that was in my arm to destroy a second part of Voldemort's soul."

"I believe that covers the age of my magic and the dark magic. This also brings me to the reason that I wanted to talk to you. In my original timeline we killed Voldemort but before I was able to do that I had to destroy six parts of Voldemort's soul. One of those items in that time was in the Lestrange vault. Since the one in the Chamber of Secrets was and the one in my scar were the same I would assume the rest of them are in the same locations."

Ragnok appeared to be angrier than anyone Harry had ever seen. When he spoke there it was in a tone filled with so much venom that Harry was slightly frightened. "Barchoke, go find out if this is true. Take my guards and immediately head to that vault. Do not mention this to anyone else.

"While we wait for Barchoke I will inform you what will happen. Should we find a horcrux in that vault we will destroy the piece of soul and you may have the object. We will take any goblin made items in the vault as fee for destroying the horcrux. We will also take 1000 galleons from the vault. As appreciation for telling us about the darkest of items being stored in our vaults, which is against Gringotts policy, you will be allowed to keep the rest of the items in the vault. We will also name you a friend of the Goblin nation. We would also like to request that you allow us entry into the Chamber of Secrets so that we may render out the basilisk you killed. Should you agree we will sell off the things that we can and give you the profit. We ask for one-tenth of the profit from the sales and all of the meat from the basilisk. We would like to take care of this as soon as possible. The profit from the last recorded basilisk was 5 million Galleons and I am assuming this one has been around since the time of the founders of Hogwarts. We can assume at the very least 10 million Galleons."

"I have plans for the rest of the day today but we can take care of that tomorrow. I will send my house elf to Dumbledore with a request for entry into Hogwarts tomorrow. I would like to make several request from the rendering of the Basilisk. I would like a goblin-made sword made from some of the fangs of the basilisk. Should you find any amethyst stones in any of the vaults that I own or the Lestrange vault I would like those to be used for the stones in the sword. If you agree I would like for it to look like the Sword of Gryffindor. If you would agree please add any goblin spells and protections to it you will allow. I would also like for a sword sheath to match the sword. I would also like 10 robes made out of Basilisk skin. I would like for these robes to be spelled to adjust to fit the person wearing it. I would also like for six-tenths of the profit to be split between the victims of the basilisk and placed in a vault for those people. Those people are Colin Creevy, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hermione Granger, Penelope Clearwater, Ron Weasley, and Ginny Weasley. Should the profit be more than 10 million Galleons I would like 1 more million to be taken to create the James and Lily Foundation with an orphanage to be built and associated with the foundation. This orphanage will be called Prongs Orphanage.

Ragnok took notes as Harry spoke and as Harry finished his request Barchoke came back in with an angry look and the cup of Helga Hufflepuff. He handed it to Ragnok as he said, "this was found in the vault. It has been cleansed but it was as Mr. Potter said. This was a Horcrux.

Ragnok nodded with an angry look on his face. "Should any Lestrange of an adult age enter this building and they are associated with Voldemort they will be detained and brought to me. Please take out any goblin made objects from the vault as well as 1000 galleons. The rest may be placed in the Potter Vault."

"Mr. Potter roughly 500,000 galleons will be added to your vault as well as any items that do not contain dark magic. We will also leave a parchment in your vault with both the Potter and Lestrange items that are enchanted explaining what each item does. With your current funds, including the Lestrange money and the profit from the basilisk you will become the wealthiest wizard in Britian. The Potter vault will be moved to vault number 5. It will now be one of the Highest security vaults in the bank. You must have a goblin escort as your vault will be guarded by a Gringotts goblin and can only be opened by you and your account manager. We will need you to grab the Lord ring for the Potters and the lord ring will be tied to your vault to allow for entrance. You are allowed to wear the Lord ring because your magic recognizes you as an adult. You also have a seat on the Wizengamot but the ministry will not allow you to take your seat until after you have left Hogwarts. When you go shopping for anything in the wizarding world you can touch you can use the ring to pay for your purchase. You just have to touch the lord ring to whatever the seller hands you for the payment. At the moment, you will be the only one allowed to enter your vault if you want anyone else to be allowed to access your vault please let us know."

"At this time Dobby, my house elf, is the only one other than myself allowed in the vault." Harry said.

"If there is nothing else we will bring in a goblin healer to remove the mail redirection ward and the block on you're magic. This removal of the block may cause you to take some time to recover. Please remain seated and we will take you to your vault afterwards."

After a short recovery Harry felt much stronger than he did before. When he opened his eyes he found that the removal of the soul piece a couple of weeks ago and removal of the block allowed for his sight to be healed. Harry went to his vault and touched the door of the vault at the request of Barchoke. When he touched the door he felt a prick on his finger. He was told that the blood would tie his magic to the vault allowing entrance. He grabbed the Lord ring and decided he would either come back or send Dobby to grab anything else he wanted. Before they left Barchoke gave Harry a wooden file basket with the Gringotts logo on it. Harry handed it to Dobby and was told that anything Barchoke needed to send to Harry or Harry needed to send to Barchoke could be placed in the file basket and it would appear in the other person's basket. With that the two left and started to take care of the rest of things that they needed to.

After Gringotts Harry and Dobby went to Madam Malkin's. Harry asked Madam Malkin for a new wardrobe in both magical and muggle clothing. For the robes Harry asked for Hogwarts robes, casual robes, and formal robes. The casual and formal robes were in various colors. For his muggle clothes he requested tan colored cargo pants and purple t-shirts, sweaters, dress shirts and a couple of purple business suits. He requested that all of the items have the Potter Crest on the breast of the shirt. For the Hogwarts robes place it next to the Gryffindor Crest. Before Harry left he asked for one of the cargo pants and purple shirts so he could leave in clothes that properly fit. He told her that Dobby would pick up the rest the following morning. Dobby then was fitted and chose to have the purple business suit as his house elf uniform. For Dobby the crests will be located on his breast and on the back. When Harry touched his wand after changing into his new muggle clothes he noticed that it did not feel the same as it used to. He did the rest of his shopping for the summer at Flourish and Blotts, grabbing books covering a wide range of Magical topics. He also bought a new 3 compartment trunk. One compartment would hold and sort all clothing, the second would hold and sort all of his books, and the third would hold and sort all of his potions ingredients and place them in stasis. Harry stopped at Olivander's to have him look at his wand.

"Mr. Olivander, I just picked up my wand after visiting Gringotts and shopping and it no longer feels the same. I was wondering if you can tell me what happened."

"Of course, Mr. Potter. Please place your wand on the counter but make sure you keep your hand on it."

Olivander then waved his hand over Harry's and his wand and found that the wand no longer recognized him as the same person.

"You can keep that wand Mr. Potter but it is no longer the best wand for you. I will create a new wand for you. In a moment I will ask you to allow me to take a sample of your blood. This will allow for a wand to be created that will be the strongest possible wand for you. Also because of it being made using a drop of your blood to find the best item only you will be able to use it. I will also need for you to wave your hand over the woods that I have so I can determine what type of wand wood you will have.

Harry allowed for Ollivander to take a drop of blood and examine it. While he did that he waved his hand over the woods in front of him and could feel various strengths coming from the different types. He found the strongest affinity to ash wood. Harry looked at the colors and asked for the wood to be a leafy green. Ollivander nodded and then continued to look at the blood he was examining. He then gasped and looked at Harry.

"Your blood has traces of basilisk venom and phoenix tears in it. I can create a wand that uses both of these items in it but it will take some time for me to create it. It will be different from any other wand I have created. I will have to place an emerald at the end of it that has the venom on the inside so it doesn't harm anyone and will have to find a way to incorporate the tears. I could have this ready for you in a week or two."

"Mr. Olivander, that is fine. Take as much time as you need. I can help you with two of the three items and make a suggestion for the third. If you contact Barchoke at Gringotts and tell him what you need he might be able to provide you with an emerald from my vault and please keep this a secret but he can also provide you with the basilisk venom. When my wand is ready send me an owl and I will come and pick it up."

Olivander nodded and with that done Harry and Dobby left the store and popped back home.

When Harry arrived he found that the Dursley's were not home. He and Dobby went back to his room and Dobby put all of the shopping in the appropriate places. Harry sat at the desk, pulled out parchment, and ink, and began to write letters to several people.

The first letter he wrote went to the six people receiving money from the basilisk.

You will be receiving a letter from Gringotts shortly concerning what happened to you last year concerning the basilisk. I have reached out to Gringotts to ask them to take care of the basilisk in the chamber of secrets. You will be receiving a key to a vault at Gringotts for your own account. This account will have a balance of One Million Galleons. This money is to do with as you wish and cannot be returned to me.

Harry Potter

Harry also added more to the letters of Ron, Hermione, and Ginny.

Ron, in addition to the information above I wanted to let you know that I appreciate you helping me to save your sister and finding a way for us to get to school, even though we could have done things differently. This money is yours and I want you to use it however you want. I know that at times you are jealous of the attention that I receive. You are my friend and as such you should know that I hate being the center of attention. No matter what happens remember that I do not and never will like being the center of attention. I consider you and the rest of your family to be a part of mine.

Hermione, I know that the money mentioned above will be a shock for you but you are the closest thing that I have to a sister. You cannot return this money because it is a gift for you and I expect people I consider to be my family to receive gifts from me. You figured out everything concerning the basilisk and have stood by me these past two years despite all of the danger that I put you in. It is only right that I care for my family. Please let your parents know that they are just as much of family as you are.

Ginny, I know that you have feelings for me. It is obvious by the way that you react around me and I am sure that the money that you will find in your vault will add to those feelings for me. I am truly sorry but I cannot reciprocate those feelings. You are my best friends sister and I consider everyone in your family to be family of my own. If you can forgive me for not planning on returning your feelings. I would love to be able to consider you as a sister or friend. You can message me as often as you wish. If you need to talk to anyone about what happened in the chamber you can always talk to me. If you or your parents would like to see a healer I am sure that my account manager Barchoke could find one for y'all to use. Also tell him that the money for the search as well as any treatment should come out of my vault.

Harry also had several other letters to have sent off due to his knowledge of the future.

Neville,

I found out today after opening the will of my parents that your mother was named by my parents to be my Godmother. If things had happened differently I would have grown up together with you as my brother. Now that I know this I would like for you to know that I will be considering you as a brother. If you ever need anything at school or during the summer and I can help, please reach out to me. I also went to Olivander's today and found that my spellwork would have been weaker due to my wand not being properly attached to me. This reminded me that you once told me that you use your father's wand. I think you should attempt to convince your grandmother to take you to Olivander's and get a wand that is properly attached to you. This may be why you are struggling in some of your classes.

Madam Bones,

I was in Diagon Alley earlier and saw in the evening prophet that Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban. I just received the will of my parents and learned that Sirius was my Godfather and was responsible for the death of my parents. If possible, I would like for you to look into his trial and provide me with as much information as you can as to why the person that my family would consider name my Godfather would turn on them. They named you as one of my possible guardian so I know that they considered you to be one of their friends. I hope you can help me.

Minister Fudge,

As you know, the Chamber of Secrets was opened last year at Hogwarts. You improperly arrested Hagrid for opening the chamber again. You really should properly investigate things before you act. I would suggest that instead of making decisions by yourself you should confer with some others. One of these people should probably be Madam Bones. As the Head of Law Enforcement it should be her that decides to have people arrested. Should you act before conferring with others I will reveal to everyone that you are a minister that accepts bribes from others. It is obvious to those that pay enough attention that Lucius Malfoy pays you to get things done in a manner that he wants. I would like to point out that death by an acromantula would have obvious signs as to the reason for death, not to mention that acromantulas tend to eat part of their victims. Myrtle Warren was not killed by a spider but was killed by a snake. The snake was killed by the heir of Slytherin and was a basilisk. The actual heir of Slytherin is a man named Tom Marvolo Riddle. This man is a half blood member of the Gaunt family. His mother was Merope Gaunt and his father was a rich muggle man named Tom Riddle. If you take the name Tom Marvolo Riddle and rearrange the letters properly it spells out Lord Voldemort. Tom Riddle is the one that killed Murtle Warren. I suggest that you inform the public of this and fix things for Hagrid. I would also like for you to know that any sort of discrimination to halfbreeds, muggleborn, goblins, etc., will result in the bribery information being released.

The letter to the Minister was not signed at the bottom and Harry made sure that any form of identifying who sent the letter was removed. The final letter that he had to write was to Dumbledore.

Headmaster,

Ragnok, Barchoke, and I, along with some other goblins, will be arriving at Hogwarts tomorrow to harvest the basilisk that I killed I am writing you to inform you that I will need to be able to reach the Chamber of Secrets and to inform you and any other professors that the heavily armed goblins do not mean any harm to the school. Their weapons and the number of goblins are necessary so that this project can be completed in the quickest possible manner. If you or any of the other professors would like to join us or work out a deal with the goblins please meet us at the entrance hall tomorrow at noon. At the very least I would suggest Professors Snape, McGonagall, Flitwick, and Sprout join us. Please insure that Professor Snape is aware of my presence and the fact that I am now considered a friend of the Goblin Nation and as such I fall under their protection and they mine any disrespect will be considered an attack on the Goblin Nation. We also need to set aside a time for us to discuss some things of extreme importance.

With the completion of this final letter, Harry asked Dobby to make sure that all of these items were delivered to the appropriate people and to make sure that the minister has no way of tracing your presence or tracing the letter back to me. For everyone else, ask them if they would like for you to bring a response back to me. If they do set up some way for them to notify you when their responses are ready. Also let them know that they are more than welcome to send their response via owl mail.

Dobby nodded and popped away to do as Harry asked.

AN: Sorry for the length of this chapter. I did not see a point in making it two separate chapters or a point in the chapter in which I could stop and make it into two. Most of the chapters I write for this story will be between 2500-3500 words. As always reviews are appreciated. The pairing has been decided on but I will leave it to develop in the story. It will be a pairing that has been done before but one that doesn't get done as much.
